OH SNAP! 300+

She really couldn't imagine what it would be like to be in such a position. Desiring children but knowing that the person you loved and were with couldn't give them to you. From her discussion with Colibri, it seemed that the girl had her own soft spot for pups, and that gave her hope that perhaps this could be done despite the difficulties. It would be hard, unbelievably hard, to agree to let someone else be with your partner, even for a second of time, but the result could give them such joy as to erase that pain. Savina knew from her own experience that seeing the newly born forms of your children made every wrong in the world disappear, because nothing was so important or beautiful as those little lives you had brought into the world. That had been the case with Naniko. No matter what evils Conri had done, those four little miracles had shone forth and banished all of that other stuff to the background. She wanted that for Colibri, but mostly she wanted that for Anu.

The Commander couldn't offer any answers as to who would be willing to do that for the two females, or how to ask them. Such things were well beyond her area of knowledge. Still, surely there had to be someone out there who could and who would be respectable. She had to believe that, because the more she thought of it the more she wanted this for her friend. Anu deserved to have her own pups, just as almost any and every female did. Still, Anu agreed that it wouldn't be easy. "Yes," Savina said. "But what things in life worth having ever come easy?" Anu had already fought to be with Colibri and she knew that her friend wouldn't go back and change that. It hadn't been easy for her sister to face another pregnancy, but she had, and now she had a wonderful daughter and son. Gods knew that she and Kansas' had face their hardships, but their love and bond was always more important than anything that ever tried to come between them.

"You should talk to Colibri. Maybe not today, maybe not this season, but sometime. I have a feeling she'd love to be the mother of your pups." If Anu never talked about it she knew that she would never stop asking the questions of herself.
