Yours was wonderful as well. 800+

The female’s failing awareness allowed him shortly to take the role of a spectator. She seemed to be devoured by unease and he wondered if her own demons were edging her on as they so often did in other creatures when senses were doubted, causing paranoia to visit their fragile minds. A few moments was it took however, and his burning orbs confidently stayed on her malachite ones. It was the youth of a mortal he witnessed, as always. Her silence allowed the bird’s disturbing twitter to taunt his silky ears yet again when the expected rumble danced through the scarce space between ivory canines. The sound was delicate and smooth, sounding almost like an audible caress had it not been for those natural instincts suggesting otherwise. Anger was not present in the impossible blue, but danger most certainly was. Evil was a powerful thing if unchained, and the large secui was in its mind dazed; high on freedom that had been denied it for so many years. Ancient – yet young as a newborn, though not at all as innocent.

Her voice caused cocoa coated ears to twitch, though they refused to acknowledge fully that he was listening to her words, her question. Such a soft feminine voice with such a delicious range of emotions attached to it. She was tense – had every right to be. The man’s gaze did not travel the least from her sparkling orbs, for her body could not offer any better than he had been given before. Haku Soul had always been gifted by his looks, well helped by the warm hues in his pelt and the dazzling warm blue so rarely seen in nature. Many beautiful women had embraced him and prayed for him to be theirs, but the creature could not be bound by any mortal, no matter how perfect a female’s skin deep beauty proved to be. How sickly fitting it was that a mass murderer and psychopath had taken the male’s virginity, and that even with gentleness. The path of the Soul male had been set for him the moment that blue necklace had slipped down around his throat – the jewellery pulling the child’s natural halo down along with its freedom.

The female’s voice sounded again, moving on without his focus and he wondered why these creatures put such pressure on conversation when there truly was nothing of importance to declare. This woman was a fool, attempting to play those strings that she could not afford to touch. Her words were as false as her perceptible will to die. All she did was to fill the nice silence with sound that held no meaning. Her anxiety spoke louder than any of the words dancing out from her dark form. Whether or not it was clear to her that her voice allowed her to peek into her emotional state was not at all important to the blue eyed demon. His mind wondered why nevertheless though, and whether or not it was a feeble attempt to escape exhumation. There was little effort put in to hide the hollow hunger burning with that deceiving forever blue colour within his bright eyes. Her body was alive and she continued to toy with death and filled his head with words, those words that he could not comprehend.

His glare finally moved now, watching his beloved shadows slowly shrink and draw back as the day advanced and laughed at him with its smooth rays and blinding smile. Her light threat, regardless if it was true or false was left unchallenged as eyes searched for black and crimson. The daylight transformed everything and temporarily stripped him for his entire kingdom, or so it felt like. Shadows would always provide him with his hungering demons and visions, but the sun’s direct light rarely allowed him to see clearly past this dimension. Ear perked finally as his own name sounded from the cheeky female’s mouth and he let his hollow gaze return to the woman, thinking it was many nights since he had last tasted canine flesh. He supposed this name of his would ever be anonymous again. This woman was not the first creature that had guessed the beast’s identity. Gossip always travelled well because wild animals slowly were turning into the second generation of man.

She was approaching now, and yellowing fangs itched behind sealed lips. Was she close? Did she believe she was? Again he wondered exactly how much she wished for death. He appreciated open invites to feast on another soul, though he had found that ignorance was most canines’ best friend. They never knew, never understood the words they so bravely spoke. Far too often it was just the part of a greater act, but the price was always theirs to pay. Lips gave way for well used canines hungry for her flesh and they were displayed proudly on the face where insanity danced in sky blue eyes. Did she know that he could turn her into a shadowy creature bound by eternal agony? There was no rumble in the man’s throat, and no words filling the empty gap her voice had inhabited.
