Yay! New post set! Big Grin

It appeared as though Lucia's instincts had gotten the better of her; a rainbow of dark brown fur and pale canines appearing directly in front of her vision. Saliva from his snapping jaws dribbled onto the earth beneath her, tiny specks flicking onto her muzzle; there was a stench of dried blood on his breath. His baby blues glared upon her body like a plague of rats, or perhaps just a pile of manure – she wasn't entirely sure; either way, her desire to push his buttons had been fulfilled, and the most amazing part of it was just how easy it had been. Letting her guard down, disregarding his rank in the canine hierarchy, it appeared to be the biggest sin of all, and oh, how she reveled in the glow. Her mind swelled with ignorant pride; there was always something rewarding about setting somebody off the rails, and this would be no different.

As his body seemed to press her backward, her paws reversing in the dried earth, rising from her haunches, Lucia's face lay expressionless. There was a blank canvass to where her sarcasm and curiosity had once been, her eyes seemed to momentarily roll back into her skull. Thus, she was not stupid – she knew better than to challenge Haku, yet the thrill of perhaps pushing him a little further over the edge became too much. She had to try, at least. After all, one more scar wouldn't hurt. Well, at least it wouldn't after it healed... and damn, they did look good. Baring this in mind, the ebony female's muscles tightened, her hackles rising slowly; first on her neck, slowly working their way down her spine. Spittle formed on her lips, canines peering out as a low growl escaped her throat. She didn't wish to fight, that was obvious by the fact her tassel remained slightly lower than the rest of her posture, a tiny bit of respect was required here at least. Yet, she did want to carry on this little party she had going on – it amused her, and, in some weird kind of way, it was arousing. There was always something hot about a male showing dominance – whether it was instinct or just her warped sense of reality, it didn't matter. All she knew was that right now, more than ever, she wanted attention... and the fact it wasn't likely to happen made it all the more appealing. After all, that was real world 101 – want, but can't have. It was the temptation, the desire. It fueled everything, and Lucia was no different.

Watching Haku, her absinthe-painted coals narrowed slyly. A cruel, almost amused smirk sprawled itself over her face, a glimmer of egotistical glory in her gaze.
“My, my,” she cooed softly, a small growl rumbling underneath her voice as she continued to move backward. He was relentless it seemed, she just placed him as crazy. That was just as good. “That's a nasty temper you have there--” she paused, trying to read his next move, but that too was difficult; there was a maddening aura growing around him, and that in itself, begged the question of how he even managed to be a leader – maybe that's why he had started the war... he was just insane. “--looks like we do have similarities.” There was a sarcastic dribble atop her tongue, though she kept her distance. She knew, if she pushed too hard, she would most probably die. That was undeniable – and the rumors, it seemed, were true. That said, she also knew that if given the opportunity to show off to a leader came along, she should take it. That was exactly what she had in mind. If it came to it, she would put up one hell of a fight, and even if she lost, at least she could show that even females had the skills to survive. It was a win-win situation in her eyes, though, truth be told, a small shimmer of insanity clouded her judgment, and that was her weakness.

“You know,”
she continued, almost flirtatious in tone, her aggression mirrored by her frame; muscles ripping, claws digging the earth as she gave a little leeway to the male as he claimed his rightful dominance in the hierarchy. “...I can be very useful to a man like you,” she grinned coldly, a fire in her eyes, as though she knew exactly what she was doing – which, clearly was not the case. She was winging the entire thing, and the adrenaline it gave her was bigger than any drug binge or party she had ever been to, it was better than anything she could imagine. It made her feel wonderful. “I have skills,” she purred, a Cheshire smile on her maw, though her body still wrapped in the possibilities of battle, “You have needs. Your frustration is clearly overwhelming. Have you tried bath salts?” A small chuckle seemed to dance in her eyes, though no sound escaped her maw. “With a temper like that--” Her auds flicked, momentarily distracted by the calls of an eagle that flew overhead; with this atmosphere, it wouldn't have surprised her if it had been vultures. “--perhaps we should remedy the cause?”
