Would it be his way merely because it was not her way? He disagreed, but let the woman shift and turn her pitch black back on him. How he lusted after that beautiful colour. Instead of chasing for what he could not have, he remained there in his earthen colours with his intense sky blue gaze, seemingly indifferent.
Instead of taking her leave immediately she began to whine again; complained about his lack of attention. It was all she had ever wanted, he could tell. She could have disappeared with some false sense of pride left, but now as she literally begged for him to take her, she lost it all. She thought she was like him? How dared she. Loneliness could not touch him. On the contrary, he appreciated it.
He merely sat there, watching her, waiting for her to take her leave. If anything she should be grateful from getting out of this with her life intact.
