She had for some time now humorously given herself the nickname "Kaena’s shadow". While she did not go as far as to stand over the Lykoi matriarch when she slept or worse, she never strayed far from her silvery grandmother. Her hydra rank was probably the one thing she truly took seriously in life, and whether Kaena liked it or not mattered little when the request to keep an eye on the Centurion had come from the Aquila himself. She respectfully kept her distance often as she could, but she never strayed far from the woman. She could make out the fragments of voices dancing along the soft touches of an unusually cold breeze, but knew that Kaena would offer more sound if she was in danger. Now as the beautiful sound from the Centurion’s mind sounded, Halo rose on her feet and drew her blade as she sped towards the call on long and slender legs, going from invisible to visible nearly as quickly as the disgusting, reeking excuse for life called Frankie.

She broke through the naked scenery and was at her beloved family member’s flank in an instant, letting her crimson orbs take in the scene that had been hidden from her until now. The wolf was a pleasantly looking Dahlian with a child in her arms. The young hybrid let her gaze rest an entire second on the golden locks of the female wolf, deciding she would cut it off and remove the canine’s beauty as best she could with her beloved blade. She recognized the blue in the boy’s eyes, but it mattered little if she was to slay her own brother’s son; her nephew. Pain would probably come in some form later, but in a war between two families where she held an equal amount of both in her blood, she was chained down by her choice of faction and loyalty to the clan. The hybrid’s stance spoke of battle already, as she waited only for Kaena to give the command. Her lovely twin blade would see red today.
