Sherman's March to the Sea

The burning scent was not one to ignore, its strength rousing her from sleep. This hadn't the refreshing, earthen scent of a wildfire, but one created by the hands of bloodthirsty beasts. She wasn't surprised in the slightest when the call of her monstrous leader was sent to her along with the pungent scent of burning. She rose immediately, slipping into the outside world to track down Haku and the wolves of Dahlia. It was time to fight, really fight, and she was thrilled for the bloodshed. On the run she went from a four-legged beast to one who ran on two, her limber form flying into the realm of battle. Fae stood back, watching the rising flames that tongued the sky, blue eyes absorbing the scene. Haku had thrown himself after their leader, the large coyote brute. Dahlian wolves had taken to the fight all around her, and she could hesitate no more.

She made a serpentine movement toward the coyotes, letting her eyes find a target of their own accord. They quickly settled upon a coyote who remained completely canine, not even taking to his Secui form for additional strength. Perhaps this would be easy, unless there coyotes also held an inner fire. He was like the last coyote she'd fought, and she (perhaps wrongly) deemed him stupid for allowing himself to remain so vulnerable. An almost seductive snarl pulling her face taut and frightening, Fae pulled her jeweled knife out of the inconspicuous sheath on her thigh and held it firmly in her fist. He knew what he was up against now, an Optime wolf with an ice sharp blade; she was relatively still, waiting for him.
