The small woman had been wandering about the edge of the packlands. She knew that her newly found brother Kansas lived here but she wasn't certain how the wolves of the pack would view her coming to their lands, with the clan she belonged to and her mixed heritages. So instead of just waiting for someone to find her she'd plotted along the outskirts of their lands roaming about and wondering how long it would take before she found her path crossing with that of one of her siblings packmates or of another complete stranger that would change her first intended course from today.
She had decided to leave Saol behind today, the large stallion made things easier on her but she was beginning to realize she was growing more and more dependent on the horse and that just would not do. She had spent the past few days after sparing with the stranger in the woods tracking though lands that once had been pack lands, abandoned and now showing the scents of a possible reclaiming before she had headed towards the lands where her family resided.
While Kansas was the closest bloodkin she had in the lands yet that she knew about she didn't know much about him or the family of his, in the end curiosity had caught her and now she said in the middle of an old game trail on the edge of pack lands waiting to see what she would find.

ooc: nope, Zana is almost never out of her optime form.
Zana's ears caught the sound of another as they moved quietly through the woods. She stood silent as the strange pack member came around a corner and confronted her. She shifted her weight on her hunker bones as she corrected her. "Actually, I'm on the borders, but yes... I was looking for someone." She doubted that the other woman would believe her but she knew she would have to explain further. Her lilac eyes flicked to the staff in her hands a second as she finished. "Kansas Sadira, he's my brother." she glanced down to the ground. There was no resemblance between her sibling and herself. They were only half siblings as it was, but he was family. She had begun to wonder lately just how much family she had on the other side of the borders.
She studied the other female for a moment quietly. She knew she wasn't imposing in any way, her own frame and heritage were even laughable, but her brother hadn't laughed, she hoped this woman wouldn't either. "I'm Zana Lykoi." She said finally, wondering if she was in trouble or if this was just a bad time to visit.[/html]
ooc: sorry such a long wait..

She often let her spunk overpower her size and it seemed she had done it once again as she lookedup upon the frame of the pack member. Zana wasn't really use to dealing with packs anymore and her mannerisms had slipped dramatically. In Eire all the clans were intertwined and she didn't have to worry about most normal customs unless there was a blood feud between one clan or another. Here, she had forgotten that things were indeed different and she flicked her ears back as the stubborn woman kept firm to her stand on the ground. "Ok, dirt is dirt.. and this is your dirt." she admitted as she drew back further into her wolf pelt cloak, growing slightly grouchy at the stance the woman was taking.
Zana didn't understand what the big deal was, she hadn't actually crossed into the lands yet, just merely roamed all along this section of their border, hoping someone would come wandering by. She had hoped it would have been Kansas and yet she hadn't lucked out there, instead she had landed this strange beast who seemed oddly familiar yet the small woman couldn't put a paw on it. She just sighed and let the lady point out every flaw and mistake she made. If it made her feel better about the whole thing Zana could deal.
When asked why she hadn't just called for Kansas she turned her small face towards the woman and said plain as day. "I look coyote. I smell coyote.. and I sound like a coyote.. obviously I didn't take after our mother.." She didn't want to say it, but she had no clue how the pack treated with coyotes, while a siblings tolerance was one thing, she knew he couldn't vouche for everyone in his pack.
