It was not long before Pendzez appeared, holding some sort of book--the title of which Xeris would not have been able to read if she tried, so she didn't. Xeris pointed to the boxes and crates littering the room. "Is this what we're looking for? There's all kinds of stuff stored here." These crates and such had less dust than the others, and it seemed that they hadn't been here for quite as long. Surely this was the Valley's storage area. Their mission was almost complete.

"There's all sorts of interesting things in this mansion," Xeris said, unable to fully take her mind off of the strange human artifacts she had found. "What is that book?" she asked, her golden eyes shifting downward to the tome in her mate's hand. Reading was not something she was able to do, but she was amazed by the idea of it and wanted desperately to learn. Perhaps if she was able to read human literature, she could learn more about human artifacts and architecture.

Pendzez examined the crates that were there, the ones that Xeris found. From the looks of it all, they had found the food storage of the pack. He had opened on the boxes, finding many bottles and food. Thsi was it. "Yes, I believe this is the supply storage." Theres got to be many boxes and crates here. Carrying them over by boat is gonna be difficult, since it wasn't an overly big boat.

Pendzez looked down to the book as Xeris asked about the tome he held. Holding it up, he read the front of the book, the title and the author's name. "Appears to be a book about the Lycanthropy myth that the humans had. It was suppose to be the ability to change into a wolf. Werewolves, in other words." He explained this like he knew the whole story about werewolves and lycanthropy. It wasn't every day that a wolf would have knowledge of that.

Xeris smiled when her mate confirmed her findings. She felt a bit proud, and also excited that they would get their task done. "Right, so we should check and make sure there's still adequate supplies," she said. "From the looks of it, there's plenty left." She scanned the room with her golden eyes, thinking about the size of the pack in relation to the amount of crates strewn around and the various items in them. Hopefully they wouldn't ever have to use the emergency supplies soon. Xeris was a bit frightened at the thought, especially when it came to their children.

Pendzez explained the book that he had found. Humans turning into wolves? That was rather strange. But in some ways, she thought, it was the opposite of what her father had been trying to prevent--wolves becoming like humans. Human culture was still very interesting and new to her. "That's interesting," she said, looking back at the book and the characters written on it which were illegible to her. "You'll have to tell me what you find out while reading it. I'd quite like to learn more about the subject."

The Spirit King opened up one of the crates that was closer to him. He peered inside to find that it was actually the supplies they were looking for. However, Jefferson didn't give an exact amount to bring back over to the mainland. If it was a great deal of the supplies, they were going to need a bigger boat. "Yeah, looks like it. Not sure if some of these crates will fit onto the boat, though." He had to think of something. It then clicked. There was a bigger boat around the back on the other docks.

Pendzez was actually surprised that Xeris found the whole Lycantropy deal interesting. He thought she would find it a bit unethical for man to become a wolf. However, she wasn't. Maybe he could tell her more about it all find it interesting on how man came up with a theory like Lycanthropy, including the ways for it to happen. "Maybe tonight before we sleep, I'll tell about Lycanthropy. Right now, we should concentrate on the supplies."
