And thus the quiet child is off to find her family. Perhaps her boisterous sister should ambush her or something, lol.

Yet another day for the young, cinnamon sugar girl of Crimson Dreams. Lately it seemed like things were getting easier and easier to do, though Parker had yet to really figure out why. For instance, she could now pick up her lamb without having to drag it on the floor as she walked, and walking down the stairs was getting easier and easier. It wasn't often that the quiet girl thought of these things, but today for some reason the question had come up in her mind. What was going on? Perhaps things were getting smaller? It did not take Parker long to dismiss that idea as simple foolishness. The only other explanation was that she was getting bigger. Yes, that made sense. Though still only a pup, the girl understood the general principle of growing up, from pup to adult. How else did Mama, Daddy, and Cambria get so tall and learn how to walk on two legs? It only made sense! So...with that issue settled, Parker searched her thoughts for some other question to think about. She was sitting in the bedroom, on the bed no less, peaking out the window and thinking. Not that she would not want to play if someone came and found her, but occasionally the quiet Sadira girl just liked to sit and think. Daddy seemed to like to do that a lot too, so it made sense to Parker that it was okay. The delicate, cinnamon streaked girl liked playing, but she also liked learning, and it seemed that one of the best ways to learn was to think about stuff that she had seen throughout the day or stuff that her parents and siblings had talked about. So, with her head resting upon the soft, white fur of her lamb Parker continued to think.

It did not take long for Parker to come up with another question, this one was a bit more difficult to answer at the moment. Where was everybody? They weren't here in this room, and she did not hear them in the hallway. Where were they? Parker pondered over the possibilities briefly, before finally deciding that she needed to go find the answer herself as it was not something she could answer simply with her own thoughts. Slowly the slender pup rose and slid off the bed, being careful to grab her lamb and bring it down to the floor with her. She wasn't about to leave it behind on this quest. Golden gaze focused on the open door, and the hallway beyond and in a matter of moments the little Dreamer was off to seek the locations of her family members. Of course, now she started to wonder who she would find first, and as she headed down the hallway she pondered the possibilities, waiting to see precisely who she would locate first.

An ambush it is! xD You decide if she gets her, of course. ♥ 300+

As was usual for the silver-tipped puppy of Crimson Dreams, everything was exciting and she was off exploring the mansion. Many of the rooms were occupied and she stayed out of those ones, but the ones that no one lived in and she could get into were very fun to explore. Really, the Marino girl liked to explore everywhere and everything, inside the manor and out, but today she had decided to explore everything inside. Artemis did not know where any of her siblings were, and she did not know where her mother and father were, but she supposed that was okay. Her mother and father gave her rules, which she did not like, and Parker was too quiet and Silvano was too serious. Cambria, Amata, and Gotham... Well, the latter two weren't around much, but Cambria seemed kind of quiet, too. Not nearly as adventurous as little Artemis!

A sound in the hall drew her attention, though it was a quiet sound. She lifted her head, light blue eyes peering around her curiously. She ducked behind the door, chancing a quick look to see who was in the hall. Aha! She spotted Parker, walking with her lamb in her mouth (as always, it seemed). She would be passing Artemis' hiding spot any moment now, the silver-tipped puppy knew. Lowering herself closer to the ground, her bum wiggled instinctively in the air. What posessed her to do this, she probably couldn't guess, because she knew it wasn't the best idea to take her silent sister by surprise, but it did not matter. As soon as she thought Parker was passing by close enough, Artemis launched herself out from behind the door with an excited bark, intent on ambushing her sister. It probably wasn't the nicest idea, but Artemis just loved her sister and wanted to play with her, quiet as she was.

Parker just makes it so easy lol.

Quiet as a mouse, that was how she moved. The petite Sadira girl didn't think about it much except for the rare occasions when she would sneak up on people and surprise them. It was common for Parker to wander past open rooms without people even noticing her. Today, though, it was not destined to be so, for Parker got so excited, prancing down the hall that she tripped over her lamb landing with a gentle thud in the hallway just a few yards beyond the bedroom she had just left. The noise itself was not very loud, but in comparison to Parker's normal silence the sound was definitely noticeable. Golden orbs stared up at the ceiling, for somehow she had managed to land lying on her back, and on top of her lamb no less. Why had she done that? That was abnormally clumsy of her. The cinnamon streaked pup would have to be more careful, or so she told herself as she stood back up. Clasping her lamb again she resumed her quest to find someone.

A few feet down the hallway turned a corner, so naturally Parker hoped that she might find someone around the bend. However, she was not exactly prepared for what happened next. Just as she rounded the corner she found herself tumbling for a second before being pinned to the floor by two paws. Golden orbs looked up to see what else but the blue of her sister's. The sunshine girl had been so surprised that she needed to catch her breath. Why had Artemis done that? That hadn't been very nice. Briefly a frustrated frown crossed her face before Parker finally relented and smiled at her sister. After all she had been looking for her so Artemis' game had actually helped the both of them out. Parker found her sister, and Artemis had her fun. Now the question was what to do now?

They're cute! They remind me of Spike and Ducky, from the Land Before Time. Guess who is who? xD

The time had come for her to pounce on Parker, and then it had happened, Artemis landing with her paws on either side of her cinnamon-streaked sister. The silver-tipped girl grinned happily, leaning down and licking her sister's cheek affectionately. "Hiya Parker! How are you and your lamb today?" she asked, though she knew that Parker would not actually answer her. That was okay, because Parker did not like to talk. Still though, it was polite to ask, especially since she had just knocked over her sister! Artemis backed away then, stepping over her sister so that Parker could finally stand up. The excited girl's tail stood high behind her, waving happily at having found someone to play with.

"Do you wanna play with me? I was gonna go on an adventure! But maybe we could play hide and seek or tag or something, instead?" she asked eagerly, expecting that Parker would indicate which option she liked the best. Artemis was game for anything!

Spike and Ducky, lol that's so true

It was almost impossible for Parker to be the least bit displeased with her sister's antics. After all, Artemis hadn't hurt her. She was just playing. That was alright, wasn't it? It certainly seemed so to the sunny, Sadira pup as she lay there beneath her sister's form. An excited lick on the cheek followed by a polite, but enthusiastic inquiry met Parker next, her sister displaying just how excited she was to have found her. In all truth, the cinnamon streaked pup was just as excited that she had found Artemis. She was just better at containing her excitement than her blue-eyed sister. In silent answer to her sister, Parker smiled and licked her sister back. She and her lamb were just fine, even better than fine now that she had someone to play with.

As Artemis finally let her up, Parker gladly took the opportunity. Rolling first to her stomach and then rising to her feet, the sunshine pup shook her fur purely out of habit before turning her golden gaze to inspect her lamb. It was alright, which was good, though she hadn't expected it to be hurt in any way. Satisfied that everything was alright, the Sadira girl turned towards her sister and mimicked her excited tail wagging as Artemis asked her yet another question. Did she want to play with her? An emphatic nod hopefully told her sister that yes, most definitely she did!
The next question that Artemis posed was a bit more difficult to answer. She personally didn't care either way. It was usually Arty's job to make the decisions, not hers. Parker was normally just one to go with the flow, unless it meant disobeying the rules or something potentially dangerous. That was rarely a problem, though, so Parker trusted Artemis to make the best choice. A quick shrug of her shoulders was all Parker felt she needed to do to show that she really didn't care either way. Whatever her sister wanted to do was okay with her, at least at the moment.

Hehe. <3

Parker was always so quiet! This would bother Artemis if it was anyone else, but she was okay with her sister being quiet. After all, she said enough for both of them most of the time, anyway. Artemis was glad that her sister was not upset with her for pouncing on her, because that would not be good. Parker always seemed to understand that Artemis was only playing, though, so it was all good. Their personalities were so vasrtly different, but that was what made them fun to be around. Parker was quiet and sweet, whereas Artemis was loud and rambunctious. They were opposites in just about every way, but Artemis thought that just made them cooler and even more awesome than they already were.

Artemis considered the options she'd listed. With Parker, a game was better than an adventure, because artemis liked getting into trouble and Parker did not. Hmmmmm.... what to play, what to play. "Let's play hide and seek! That'll be fun, right? There are a lot of hiding spots inside, I bet," she added. She waited for her sister's agreement, which she was sure was to come (it always was, since Parker was so agreeable), then said, "Okay, I'll be it, and you hide!" She hunkered down, burying her face in her paws. "One... Two... Three..." she began.

Parker was indeed a very agreeable girl, finding it much easier to simply accept most of Artemis' game ideas when she presented them. So long as they weren't breaking the rules, Parker was more than happy to do anything her sister Missa wanted. Golden orbs focused on her sister as she presented just such an idea. Hide and seek! It was one of Parker's favorite games! In fact, she was really good at it, or so Mati had told her the last time they had played it together in the meadow. She had been almost too good, and the Nanny had needed to call her out of hiding to find her. Naturally Parker accepted, her head bobbing up and down in a nod of agreement to her sister. Then, without hesitation the sunshine girl turned and bounded off down the hall as Artemis started counting. Though she did run she made every attempt to keep quiet, as she always did. However, in this game, silence was one's best ally. If she could keep Artemis from hearing where she was going, Parker would have one leg up in this game. So, she ran down the hall, until finding an open door. Artemis was now at the count of seven, so Parker needed to hurry. Whoever lived in this room, if anyone, was messy. There were things strewn all over the floor, including, much to Parker's delight a pile of old rags and cloths perfectly sized for her petite puppy body to dig its way into. Of course, the pile was in the center of the room, but maybe if Parker buried herself in the pile deep enough Artemis would miss her and move on. With only a couple seconds to spare, the silent, Sadira girl dug her way into the pile, settling down as her sister excitedly called out the number 10 signaling the start of her search. Now all Parker had to do was wait and see if Artemis found her. She bet she probably would, despite Parker being so good at hiding. Arty was just good at finding things it seemed. Parker might have been unintentionally good at sneaking around, due to her quiet nature, but Artemis would likely be the tracker in the family it seemed.

"Eight... Nine... Ten!" she shouted gleefully, bouncing up from where she had been hunkered down. Artemis had wanted to peek to see which way her sister went, but that would be cheating, and Artemis didn't want to cheat. She could find Parker without having to sneak a peek! Soft blue eyes looked this way and that, and the silver puppy propelled herself forward, deciding that forward must be the best way to go. Parker might have gone the other way, but Missa hoped not, because then she would be going the wrong way! She pressed her nose to the floor, inhaling deeply as she walked, trying to figure out how to track her sister. Unfortunately, this was not very much help because she didn't know much about tracking a smell. Not yet, anyway, she mused.

At the first open door that she could see, Artemis bounded inside excitedly. Parker had to be in here! Where else would she have gone? Well, there were plenty of possibilities, but Artemis was choosing to think she had to be in here. She narrowed her eyes, looking with her oh-so-much expertise. First, she nosed around the bed, though she didn't see her sister underneath. Placing her paws on the side of the bed, she craned her neck up to look on top, but she didn't see Parker there, either. "Parker, I'm gonna find you!" she shouted happily, nosing the floor a bit more, moving towards the pile of cloth in the center of the room.

She heard Artemis shout the completion of her counting, and settled for the wait that she knew would come next. Even if Artemis did end up finding her, Parker guessed it would take a minute or two. The last time she had played hide and seek with someone, it had taken them forever to find her to the point where she had to come find them when they called for her. She doubted Missa would take that long, but still it was nice to be resting and relaxing in one's hiding spot. So, with her golden orbs closed, and cinnamon ears perked alertly, Parker nestled inside the pile of rags, simply awaiting her sister's inevitable squeals of excitement when she was discovered.

It was easy to hear the Marino pup entering the room, for she was not nearly as quiet as Parker was in her actions. For the next few seconds, Parker just listened, guessing that her sister was checking the more obvious places for her first. Missa called out to her, informing her that she was destined to be found, and the silent pup simply smiled, amused by her sister's determination. Missa was so sure of herself in everything she did. Golden orbs flickered open, though there was nothing to see inside the rag pile, but she guessed she would be needing them soon enough, as it sounded like Artemis was getting close. That was good, Parker had not gotten a turn to count to ten yet, though she could not think of a way to do it without speaking yet. Oh how she wished she had Missa's confidence. Parker was still so unsure about her speaking abilities that she was too afraid to try. Artemis had started trying to talk the day she realized she had a voice. The words had not been perfect, but at least she was able to voice her desires, opinions, and other various personal things, verbally. The cinnamon and sugar girl had no doubt she would be able to speak as fluently as her parents one day, but that day wasn't today.
