leaving memories behind.

Welcome to anyone who'd like a thread with short, easy posts. Big Grin

Judging by the uneasy squirming of his friend, Rynnas realized that perhaps this wasn't the best place for him to be with Tumblety. The sun was high in the sky, its rays beating heavily down on the male's solitary form as he trotted through the streets of Yarmouth. For the time being he had no interest in entering any of the many buildings, content to hear the click clack of his claws against the pavement. He paused at intersections here and there, giant head gazing up and down the streets as he decided which way to turn next. Tumblety was not happy, and Rynnas could tell that the little guy was anxious for the comfort of shade. The wolf softly promised to seek shelter soon enough.

In Rynnas' defense, he had warned his friend of where he was going. Tumblety had had every opportunity to stay home and he'd declined. Ordinarily Rynnas would have spent his day at home, working on his house. But this morning he'd woken to a feeling of unease and a need to get moving. The feeling of depression was heavy and he felt that the only way to escape it was to leave the pack lands and his brother's memories behind. He'd occupy himself by exploring, keeping his mind on that and nothing else. Let his worries and grief come back later in the evening. For now he was alright, his mood meager as he moved along the road, feeling the warmth of the pavement beneath his paws.
