------Anselm paced back and forth, nose practically planted on the ground. He inhaled deeply, seeking out fresh scents and contemplating older ones. Nothing was too old, of course, but it did not seem as though Gabriel or his mate were near their den. Not daring to enter, he simply stayed outside and awaited their return, although he was quickly growing restless. There was much work to be done, and he hated the feeling that he was wasting time. Several packs were still awaiting his investigation, and he was eager to go back and check them out. He just figured he would report to his leaders what he had already learned about Twilight Vale.
------Sighing softly to himself, he realised that he might as well check out the other activity in the valley before reporting back. He could just deliver all of the information at once--he would have no issue keeping track of everything, after all. Despite the few random wolves he had seen around the borders, everything seemed largely under control. Still, he was frustrated that he couldn't get in touch with Gabriel. He could always howl, he supposed, but sometimes he felt like staying a little more under cover. Making a ruckus was a sure way to alert everybody to his whereabouts, whether he wanted them to know or not. With a grunt, he stared at the opening of their den for a few pregnant moments before turning about to leave...
