Yaya. New om nom table! 300 + for Noir!

His ever-growing love for food and exotism had inevitably led him to more discoveries. Earlier that day, he'd taken a little trip to Halifax; a place he now held close to his heart. There he'd discovered culinary goodness once more. It was a good thing he couldn't carry more than a bag full of ingredients, or the shops would've been empty in record time. Carrying things back and forth over long distances put an enormous strain on his back, so the Quebecois had taken it easy this time by carefully choosing lighter things to bring home. Vegetable seeds, with which he planned to make a beautiful garden, were now in his possession along with several vials of cooking herbs: rosemary, mint, parsley and basil amongst a few others.

The garden creation could wait. His trip had drained him of the energy necessary to fulfill such an arduous task. He would get right on it after a good night’s sleep. But for now, seeing as the evening had just begun and it wasn’t quite time to sleep yet, Honoré had every intention of analyzing each and every culinary herb he’d brought home. Time and devotion was the key to a good degustation. Plus, Noir would surely poke her head through that front door sometime soon. It wasn’t uncommon for her to sleep over as of late. Although he didn’t mind, the Québécois couldn’t help but wonder if she planned on doing so permanently. He appreciated her, of course. But her friend, the baby duck, was definitely not one of his favorites.

Small piles of herbs and spices were laid out on the wooden table before him. Each of them had a distinct smell, making it easier for him to differentiate them all. Mint was his favorite thus far. Although he wanted nothing more than to give it a tentative lick, he would wait for Noir to assist him on his culinary journey or he’d never hear the end of it.

500+

What was good with having four feet to walk with was that she very rarely had to hold things. The girl bounced up and down the stairs, enjoying the necklace that uncle Ho had given her not long ago. She had the coolest hat in the world, and now she even had a necklace that matched it. It was so pretty and cool and she loved to feel it dance against her fluffy blonde fur. She was also slightly bored, and Baby Duck with his super long and weird neck was wobbling around somewhere downstairs, because he did not like walking the stairs. Noir thought it was funny, and it was actually a bit scary when she ran down the stairs, because it was as if she was either flying or falling down towards the ground. After a few first accidents in the stairs where she tripped and fell, she had mastered the art of stairs excellently. Where was Uncle Ho! He had been gone for a while now, and it had been dreadfully boring without a soul in the house. Uncle Ho might not be aware of Noir’s thoughts, but she actually saw this place as her own home now, and the reason why she sometimes slept with her family was because she wanted to be nice and it was very nice to visit her family. This was her and uncle Ho’s home now.

It took a while before she realized that some of the sounds she heard did not come from her bouncing up and down the stairs. This meant that Uncle Ho was back! The girl exploded into motion, and there was an awful lot of noise when her dull claws scratched desperately against the wooden floor to get out so that she could say welcome home. From stars to door, she had to take a sharp turn, and not surprisingly she crashed into the wall with her shoulder and side, but it did not hurt a lot so she did not really pay attention to that. A picture crashed into the floor, but Noir was deaf to such insignificant things. She was a bit clumsy and made many things break and shatter inside the house, but they always magically disappeared after a while, so it was okay. No harm done. The blonde Aston girl bounced out of the house and jumped on the two legged optime instantly, her tongue washing over him. ”HELLLO, welcome back! Where were you, I was super bored and then I ran a lot in the stairs because I really like this necklace a lot!” Noir’s face turned quickly to see if there was any Baby Duck in sight, but there was nothing to be seen. Oh well!

A few second passed by before Noir realized what was on the table. She got off the man and stuck her snout into one of the piles, sniffing hard and drawing in a significant amount of some kind of herb. It stung inside her nose. IT WAS INSIDE HER NOSE. The girl turned around while she sneezed and whined pathetically, a front paw uselessly scratching her nose to get the rest of it out.
