 She was mostly sticking around the cabin, having just had a very nice conversation with Xeris. Ehno was out hunting for her, something that she was really thankful for--she was able to eat whenever she was hungry, which was really nice. Usually she had to go out and hunt for herself, and had been up until a week before the pregnancy. Naniko had done what she needed to do before the pups were born, had gone out to Cour des Miracles to get news about how Haven was doing, so now she was comfortable with sitting back and relaxing with the new litter for a little while. She laid her head down on the pillow on her mattress, which was down on the floor, closing her eyes for a moment. A small squeaking sound woke her up after an hour or so, Caprica having rolled off the mattress and onto the floor. She picked the squealing pup up by its scruff, placing it back up with its other three siblings. Caprica was the darkest of the four, her pelt as black as Naniko's father Roman's. Lucia was a sandy brown color, Harlowe around the same shade, and Rio a mixture of browns, blacks, and grays. Caprica nuzzled in with her siblings and quieted down, settling back to sleep. She took this sleepy opportunity to get up and stretch her legs, poking her nose out of the front door. She would take a short run around the cabin to get her muscles back in use, then come back in! |
