Sucky and typed fast. Anywayss, finally got it up!

The trip to the cemetery had saddened her, but it had also brought on the inspiration she needed to head off to the city. She had never been to a city, she couldn't even imagine a place not covered in trees. From what she had heard, people cut down all of the trees to put down this concrete forest. "Yeah, because THIS is better." She spat sarcasticly. Of course she had seen flat land, but the highway had been made by humans, and that looked as if they carlessly threw that ugly grey stuff around. She wondered if that meant the humans had thought the earth was so unattractive that it needed to be hidden. 'What strange beings,' Her bi-coloured eyes studied the city in front of her, paying special attention to the buildings that branched out from the main rode. The buildings were intelligently built, but she couldn't see how you could call some thing like that home. She would miss sleeping under the stars, and maybe even that dangerous feeling that some thing was watching her.

It was definately not how she had pictured it. She had heard that since the humans had died, most of the things they created had went with them. She planned to study the ways they had lived, but from the looks of it, this place wouldn't hold much information. A teeming amount of the buildings had trailing plants she reconized as vines clinging to sides of them. Angelic looking pink and white flowers were growing from some of the vines, immediatly catching her eye with their bright colours, compaired to the dull colouration of the buildings surrounding her. Some small purple fruits could be found as well, but they did not look like they were in the season to eat.

The female soon wound up in a small building that looked like it had been a person's home at one point in time. Most of the dirty red bricks were painted over with mold, causing the entire house to have a earthy fragrance. After peeking around a bit, she guessed it was the household of a family at one time. Judging by the pocket-sized toy car in one of the small rooms, she guessed a mother and child lived here. But no trace of a male was found. When she was done inspecting; she exited the house. Afterwards she trotted along aimlessly for a while, searching for any thing else that might help her learn more about these things that were now nothing more then a peice of history.

Speaking aloud. All in her head.Acting upon it.

Cool =] [300+ Word Count]

Moonfyre trotted along the cold cement. This city was eerie and drenched with death and negativity but his eager mind looked away from that and he saw this place a learning experience. At first, he didn’t really care for the humans and their weird objects and such but then he picked up a human history book and read it. The history sucked him right in and he’s become crazily interested since. Now, he takes weekly expeditions into town to study and just look at things. He doesn’t know everything about them yet, but he hopes to learn everything he can. The one thing that bothers him though, he wishes he could learn about their downfall but there are no books to tell him this because there were no humans left to write them. Maybe he would be able to ask someone.

He was in his wolf form now, his jet black fur gleaming in the moonlight. In this dark, it would be extremely hard for one to see, but luckily for him he was a wolf. A wolf who had the gift of night vision. So, the darkness really had no effect on him or his sight. As he trotted down the sidewalk, he noticed a familiar scent. He’d never met this wolf before but at least she was a wolf of some kind. The only problem there was that she wasn’t of his pack either, so he didn’t know if she was a threat to him or not. He wanted to know.

He trotted faster now, quietly following the scent. At last, he could see someone walking before him; she didn’t look too intimidating so he figured he would be okay. He also didn’t want to startle her either so he figured a simple bark would do to get her attention. He trotted closer to her but stayed behind and barked twice.

Ruff. Ruff.

ooc...

Night always seemed to bring its own kind of beauty into the world. Birds turning to bats, sun turning to moon.."A whole kind of new beauty awakening.." And her thoughts rang true. She watched as a raccoon dashed across the street, striped tail following closely behind. Some referred to them as lesser pandas, but to Yuki, they seemed to be nothing more then overgrown cats.

The smell of the male had hit her like a brick wall, burying itself deep in her nostrils. He hadn't done any thing to seem suspicious, but he didn't really make his presence known. It gave her small joy as she realized she wasn't the only one who visited the homes of the dead. She stiffened at the sound of his bark, strong, loud, but short lived. It wasn't much of greeting, but at least she knew he was no threat now. No good hunter showed themselves before attacking, or so she had learned. While some killed out of the beauty of death, she killed for her passion of survival.

As she turned her neck so she could face him, the light of the moon shined on to her face, giving the creamy white a slight tint of blue. Her eyes glowed in a both frightening and beautiful manner. She could very well be an angel, or even a ghost. The smell of many others lingered on him, bringing her to the conclusion that he was from a pack. He reminded her of Kuro, with his darkly coloured fur, but she knew all too well Kuro wouldn't of came within' twenty feet of her. Her voice reflected the smallness she felt inside just by standing near him, she might've very well been a vunerable pup at that moment. The gold rings on his ear shined magically, automaticly drawing her attention as she took a few almost involuntary step towards him. She cocked her head to the side as her eyes widened in amazement, "It's pretty.." She whispered, her eyes still attactched to the peircings. Her eyes grew bigger once again as she realized she was pratically in the man's face. A small yelp escaped her throat as she stumbled back, wondering how she could of been stupid enough to get close to a stranger. "Stupid, stupid, stupid.." She thought to herself. As she built the courage back up too look him in the eye again, she studied the unique tattoos above and bellow his eye. The one on top reminded her of a moon, while the one bellow confused her. "I'm sorry, I don't know where my manners went.." She said with a nervous laugh, not bothering to change the tone of her young voice. She cleared her throat and smiled slightly before speaking again, "So.. Hi, I'm Yuki."

Ooc.

He almost laughed as the young femme got up in his maw to stare at the gold rings in his ear. He could understand not many have seen these enough to be used to them, nor tattoos. Though, they weren’t really tattoos but more like markings. He couldn’t really remember ever getting them tattooed on his face. Aside from that point, this femme was funny to him. She seemed so curious, dangerously curious. Who knew what kind of trouble she could get into in a place like this?

She had a small voice, almost like a child’s, and it sounded almost familiar to him. Almost like his long lost sister’s voice. He hadn’t any knowledge that she was alive and wouldn’t know for a long while. He shook his head getting rid of those thoughts. He jumped slightly when she yelped and scrambled back. A slight smile lit up his face. She amused him far more than anyone else he had ever met. She was an interesting female, indeed. The question was, though, did she share the same passion for humans as he did? What about the same passion to kill as he did? She was walking in the middle of a death zone and also probably the most interesting of places around here. They both were.

That’s fine Miss, I’m Moonfyre. What are you doing out here… All alone?

I am talking about one of those apartments that have open roof things on top, where they can like, hang their clothes. Just btw if it wasn't really clear..

Her behavior was unusual. Very rarely did she ever seem shy, timidness was almost always there, but it wasn't often that she got close to blushing. She cocked her head again slightly as he questioned her about why she was here. It was easier to lie, she would probably never see this wolf again. But she DID want to see him again, which is what scared her the most. Fibbing didn't seem right for this stranger, he had done her a favor already by not biting her face off when she got close to his. In addition to him being tolerant, she had already dug her own hole of idiocy, why not lie in it? "I was out here studying humans. And in all if you want the truth sir, um..-" She looked at him and smiled slightly, she always found it fun to use someone's name who she had just learned. The word sir had just been a result of her shy side showing through yet again, she had to work on her quick thinking. "Moonfye, I meant.. Not sir. I didn't have any one to join me. I didn't really ask.. but I don't really know many people any ways." Her grin faded; replaced by one of her famous, small, fake smiles.

The black and white female could no longer hold still. She turned and trotted the opposite way, following the moon light lit path. "C'mon.. This place is to big to just sit around doing nothing." Tail raised, ears perked and lean legs in motion, she searched for a good place to watch the sun of dark. Her heart beat matched rhythmatically as her trot turned into a flowing run. She followed the zig zaggy trail of cemet until she stumbled upon what she had been looking for. The building she entered looked to be an old apartment, paint peeling off the walls on both inside and out of the house. She climbed the stairs with deer-like leaps until she reached the top of the old home. High off the ground the moon looked beautiful, making the flat ground on the roof top sparkle like a thousand diamonds. She sat and just stared in awe , "Isn't it gorgeous?" she asked, unsure if the male had followed her all the way here. Her eyes were wide again as she marveled at the sight.

Humans? His head cocked almost instantly at the word. So, she was a human studier also, eh? This could be quite interesting; finally he found someone with the same passion as he. Well, possibly no one was quite as obsessed as he, but she shared knowledge of the humans. Every wolf he met so far either had no interest at all or had no idea. But as she began to dart away, he pondered for a moment before following. Is this even real? A beautiful femme who shared the same interest as he? He almost couldn’t believe his own eyes, ears, and senses. As the thoughts came, they left with lightning speed as he darted after the she-wolf.

They both ran quite elegantly together. Moonfyre was little ways behind her, only to stay on the sidewalk and avoid the sharp cracks in the asphalt street. His ebony coat shined in the moonlight and his muscles rippled with every movement he made. He was truly beautiful in his wolf form, as so was this femme before him. Then he noticed, Is she even luperci? He wondered about this question for a second realizing he knew not even a clue. Can wolf dogs even shift?

When they reached the building of interest, Yuki flew up the stairs. Moonfyre took his time, quickly trotting, but taking in his surroundings as well. The paint was chipping off the walls with old age, the furniture in the house was dusty as hell, all the items lying around were filthy, and so were the floors. There were no windows, they had been smashed either by bad weather or just crumpled with ancientness. He climbed the stairs carefully and was panting by the time he reached the rooftop. He stood beside her, looking up at the moment.

It is quite beautiful, indeed.

His orbs trailed to the corner of his eye to quickly steal a peek of her. Her fur was absolutely stunning in the moonlight, especially from up here.

Yup! Exactly (:

Having absolutely zero experience in relationships or friendships, the hybrid was not at her strongest point. She laid on her side, looking up at the blue eyed male questioningly. "Your part of a pack, aren't you?" She asked, a shiver running over her body from the touch of the cool pavement. She studied him again, this time not paying as much attention to his gold designs. She guessed he was quite the hunter, judging by his muscular build. His eyes were interesting, a darker shade of blue then her own, and definately not as emotionless as hers looked to be. Unlike Kuro, he gave off a warm kind of aura, while her brother's had been frightening. He looked full blooded wolf, from what she could tell. All together he was handsome. She had thought of many as this, but not in the same way.

Most that she classified as attractive scared her in some way. But this was different. He seemed different, in some way. Most wolves that she had met always looked at her with pity, as if they knew her story some how. She had felt his eyes on her, but they held something other then pity. At one point she thought he looked at her just to make sure she was real, though she was nothing of a mind reader. She wanted to ask him why he was looked at her strangely, but she wanted to avoid any more embarrassment. "Speaking of staring.." She looked him in the eye again, talking to bury her very noticable staring. "Who are you?" Her question reached beyond names, trying to figure who this 'Moonfyre' was, and exactly why he gave her odd emotions.

Moonfyre kept himself from turning to the femme when he noticed her turn her head toward him. He kept staring straight ahead, up at the moon. His eyes shown like fire from the night’s light. This wolfess seemed to be fond of him in some way, if not curious. She seemed to be a loner and not knowledgeable about pack life at all. His black ears stayed alert above his crania as he listened but pretended not to notice her curiosity.

Yes.

If she wanted to know more she would have to ask and be specific about it. He didn’t like sharing his pack’s information with strangers so if she wanted to know she would have to give him a reason to trust her. He eyed her cautiously now realizing he was fraternizing with an outsider.

When he was a loner, too, he did not take so kindly to strangers and wondered why he was doing so now. He did not know her and even if she was trying to get to know him, he did not trust her; but he didn’t show it. He kept his friendly front on until he needed to let it go. He was quite the character and was taught well from all his years of loneliness.

After her second question, he became confused. Didn’t I just tell her my name? The way she said it, though, gave him in the feeling that she wasn’t meaning his name. Who was he really? He couldn’t even answer this about himself. His ideas, emotions, and thoughts were all over the place and he didn’t know whether to trust any of these wolves rather than kill them all for being so close to him. He just cocked his head like a confused dog and looked at her. Be more specific. This he thought, but did not say.

Yup! Exactly (:

Yuki laughed at the male in front of her. The way he suddenly turned so serious, mid conversation, reminded her so much of herself that it was funny. His unchanging posture, eyes looking at any thing other then her, it was like a glimpse at a demon she thought she knew so well. It took effort to swallow her bubbly laughter, but she spoke almost immediatly after she did, "Not much into deep conversations, are you?" She managed an eye roll in his direction as her sarcasm showed through. Males were incapable of any thing deeper then a hello, this only confirmed her suspicions. Not all woman were much better, but she had seen a lot more cold heartedness from men. "Every one is the same." She looked up at him again, shaking her head then standing. She felt even more stupid then before, "Nice job avoiding it," she thought. She stretched out her legs, then walked away. She didn't leave the open roof top, but moved away from the man she had hoped of having a conversation with.

Some part of her wished he would yell at her, but another said that he would just leave. She was nothing to him, not a friend, and not some one who he cared about. Maybe if she was luperci, she would shrug as he did. The thought of this brought the female she had met to mind, causing her to smile. She had called her a rose, such as she seemed to be at the time. But as they talked the female switched to defensive, and the wolfdog had given up the conversation. Maybe Moonfyre was like this too, maybe he needed her to speak first. "No danger in trying" She denied the possibilty of him attacking her. After all, he didn't do it the first time. But now he is like a completely different person.." That thought nagged at her as she approached him again.

She sat close and stared at him, daring him to look back at her. She kept focused on his eyes as she started talking, "I'm am a hybrid. I have no pack, no family, and no one to take notice of my death if you killed me. My blue eye changes vision from day to day. I have no skill in fighting. I often think I'm going insane. I am usually closed off. I'm not scared of you because you remind me of my brother. Certain topics trigger emotions inside me that some consider strange. Death gives me a weird kind of amazement. I'm going to feel stupid and probably regret saying all this in a moment, but this is who I am. Nothing more, nothing less. She breathed in and sat up straight, awaiting his reaction now that he knew all of her weaknesses. It was very out of character for her to open up like this to any one, but she didnt have much to loose.

You work fast-- I like =] [300+ WC]

She seemed to still be up in his face. What did she expect? An elaborate conversation with a wolf he didn’t know at all? He snorted as he thought of this. He liked how she was persistent but she was persistent in an annoying way. Then he comment hit him: “Everyone is the same.” He growled lowly and bared a fang or two at the comment. He was not the same as anyone else, far better than anyone around him. He thought highly of himself and would not be compared to anyone else without giving a little attitude toward the comparer. He had far more different ideas, plans, emotions, and difficulties than everyone else. His blue orbs danced with anger and he snapped his head toward her. He glared at her with orbs burning with the desire to lunge for her throat but just to scare her. He held himself steady, though; steady enough for no other to notice his distress. He spoke with a slight growl in his voice :

Like everyone else you say? No, I am far like anyone else.

He had a sting in his voice and his orbs still were angry as he looked away. She began to tell him her life story but at this point he didn’t really care. He heard her, but he ignored her. He rose back to all fours and padded toward the stairs. He trotted down the stairs, angry. As he reached the first floor with the broken windows and dusty furniture, he saw a dusty but comfortable looking bed. It was a dark red couch that was caked with dust but dust didn’t bother wolves as much as it did any other creature. He quickly and quietly jumped upon the couch and laid down, in a comfortable pose with one hind leg hanging off the side. He drew in a deep breath calming himself knowing she would be down the stairs any moment bothering him again.

Because Yuki needed more mischief well she was in her explorer mode. Sorry, this one took me a bit to write.
__________________________________________

The male hadn't proven hard to annoy. She let out a dramatic sigh, as he went downstairs. She didn't follow him right away. She made a stop at the second floor, nudging one of the doors until it opened enough for her to enter. The floor made sounds of displeasure as she walked across it. She dodged a large hole in the wooden floor and walked in further. Some areas of the floor were soggy with both age and water, the whole room was a death trap. This should have triggered something inside her, telling her to turn back, or at least be more careful. But almost every thing inside her urged her on, "Lets go over there.." She walked deeper into the apartment, entering a room with a white door frame. A large bed was in the center, accompanied by a vanity and dresser. She trotted over to the dusty bed, ignoring the groans of the old floor. She climbed onto it, amazed that it could still hold weight. As she tried to keep her balance, her foot found its way into a hole in the mattress. "No problem," She jerked her foot up, yelping as a broken metal spring dug into her foot. She peered into the hole, panicking as she observed her predicament. Her foot was inside one of the springs, the caught inside the spiral inside. One of the rings of it was chipped, leaving a sharp edge that was scraping her paw.

As she struggled the floor made noises of agony, "Yuki, you idiot. What did you do this time?" She mumbled to herself. She could either ask Moonfyre for help, and loose every ounce of her pride that she had, or she could be stuck here forever and starve. Neither of the opinions seemed very good, "Well.. The meal you ate earlier should last you a while.." She laid down and tried to get as comfortable as possible, preparing for the long wait ahead. The ground completely disagreed with her actions, her ears shot up to listen as the floor made cracking sounds. "Is pride worth your life?" She let out a dramatic sigh before calling out the name of the man she had just previously annoyed to the point of leaving, "Moonfyre!"

Moonfyre!! She called for him from up the stairs. He growled ignoring her the first time. He was still pissed off and didn’t feel the need to quickly recover and save the annoying being. Then he heard some type of a struggle from upstairs. The floor kept creaking and cracking, maybe there was a rogue wolf. This set off a warning sign in Moonfyre’s head. Rogue wolves were not fun and they were abnormally strong in some cases.

His ears perked to the noise upstairs and he flew off the couch. He quickly trotted up the first flight of stairs and into the room with the door slightly open. The floorboards groaned as he quickly walked over them. He slowed down noticing they were old and decayed and most of them gone. Moonfyre planned his steps carefully but quickly making his way toward the second room.

He burst through the door and found the annoying femme with her foot stuck in a bed coil. He growled loudly seeing, now, that there was no other in here. He thought wrong. He soon noticed, though, that the femme had little time before the whole bed would collapse with the floor. He circled the bed carefully thinking of a plan.

Stop moving so rapidly, you don’t want to stress the floor out more.

He continued to circle the bed thinking quickly and critically. He stopped at a particular stronger part of the floor and sat pack on his haunches looking at her carefully.

Okay, now try to pull your leg out slowly. Its going to hurt but it’s the only way to get out unless you want to end up on the first floor with the bed…

Her entire body shook in fear as the male growled, though she couldn't tell exactly who it was directed towards. She hadn't been scared of him before, when she was fully capable of getting away. But now she had no way to move. "Unless you want to rip your own foot off" A voice in her head suggested. She would not be able to make it on her own if she was missing a limb, that was for sure.

She watched him circle the bed, her uncertainty growing as he observed. She yanked up on her foot as he spoke, letting out a loud yelp as the metal dug deeper. "Right. Because we don't want to stress out the BED anymore." She put empasis on the word 'bed', hinting that she really disapproved of his way of thinking. She knew he wouldn't jump up on the bed now, he was afraid it was going to fall through the floor. "It should only be one or two stories, right?" Her leg would definately break, that's all their was to it. She did as he said, attempting to slide it out slowly. The spring was tearing her skin, her blood traveling through the twisted jungle of metal before gathering together in a small puddle, soaking through then staining the brown floor. She dug her claws into the bed as she pulled the last of her foot out, water that had built up out of pain and frusteration spilled over her cheeks.

The floor continued on with its depressing sounds as she hopped off the bed. As she looked over her bloody leg, realizing she could no longer hold in what she had eaten for lunch. She backed away from the disgusting spill of her insides and walked towards the door. She was limping badly but managed to murmur a pained thank you to the male. It sounded like nothing more then continuous babble, but she couldn't manage much more. She shuffled across the floor, leaving a trail of crimson that had been flowing form her back leg. When she reached the steps she shook her head, deciding to just lay down instead. Whether she was unconcious or just in a deep sleep was unclear, even to her.

A deep growl emitted from his throat at her sarcastic statement. As he watched her pull her leg from the bed he winced, too, at her pain. He understood pain, and especially pain you had no choice of causing to yourself. As she jumped down from the bed the floor moaned its last and the bed sunk into the soggy, old floor with a loud crunch. It didn’t fall all the way, but if there was weight on top of the bed it would’ve fell to the first floor on top of that comfortable couch he was laying on earlier.

He watched Yuki limp out of the room with the floor protesting to every step she took. He followed quietly and slowly, remembering the terrified look on her face before when he snarled, and feeling bad about it. He approached where she was laying and quietly padded over to her. He stood over her for a moment, with his ears slightly back, before slowly lowering his maw toward her injured leg. He began to lick her wound hoping this wouldn’t alarm her in any way but to just make her see that he was apologizing without words.

The floor in the other room creaked loudly as the rest of the floor gave out and the bed successfully made itself comfortable on top of the old couch on the first floor with a loud crunch and boom.

She didn't move as she felt the warmth of his tongue on her wound. In the stage of almost sleeping she was in, she couldn't feel much of the pain. She wished he would just lay next to her, but she knew it needed to be tended. "Can't you stay?" She asked, keeping her voice barely above a whisper in an attempt to not move much. The results of keeping a injury open all night could be deadly, no telling what might smell the blood of a wounded wolf.

A breeze or two found its way through the window, chilling her body. She wanted to curl up in a ball, unaware if he could see her scar or not. The silence floated around the room, causing her ears to be filled with a fictional buzzing noise. She wasn't so afraid that he would reject her. She wouldn't blame him for wanting to return to his familar pack lands, rather then sleeping in an old apartment that was holding up just as much as the bed that had just fell through the floor. "But you want him to stay." Her thoughts conflicted, and they soon turned into a loud argument that only she could hear. She hummed to out do the voices, the quiet drifting melody echoed through the house. It was slow and soft, swaying like a leaf floating to the ground on a cool fall day.

He didn’t flinch when he heard the floor finally collapse. He knew it was coming any moment and when it did he wasn’t bothered by it. He continued to gently lick Yuki’s wounded leg, but somewhere deep inside him he wanted to rip it off and eat it. He wouldn’t though because he actually didn’t mind her now. If she continued to annoy him he might’ve done it. Her tiny words reached his auds, and he stopped licking. Moonfyre looked down at her wounded leg, and the gash was quite big. She would lose a lot of blood if he didn’t do something.

He wasn’t much of a healer but he did know the basics, and would find something human to help her. He began to turn away when the thought hit him. He would stay after he fixed her leg. He paused once more; he would need opposable thumbs for this little mission. He turned and began to trot down the stairs while shifting slightly at the same moment. He called to her over his shoulder and ignoring her question :

I’ll be back as fast as I can!

He wanted to stay with her he truly did, but he wanted her to live through it too. She seemed different now, more serious, and he liked it. He hadn't really known much about his preference for females. All he knew was that he was quite fond of Ember and now his fondness for Yuki was growing. He shook his head in confusion as he ran down the stairs.

As he reached outside it was quite chilly. By now, he was almost fully shifted, and he ran two-legged down the block toward a house that looked to be in good condition. He ran into the door, which wasn’t even really on its hinges, and broke it down. He hurriedly ran up the stairs into a human “wash room” and opened the cabinet. In this cabinet everything seemed to be well preserved and the gauze looked clean. The medical tape he saw next seemed to still be sticky, too. He grabbed the gauze and tape, and looked around for something else that would help. He didn’t find much in the washroom, but he did find some of that “soap” he was looking for to wash his blanket. He grabbed it and ran back downstairs and into the kitchen.
The kitchen was yellowed with wear and tear and the sunflower colored paint was peeling off the walls due to old age and constant weathering. Moonfyre walked over to the “refrigerator”, his nails making a clicking noise on the tiled floor, and opened it. He looked around throwing unnecessary items on the floor. They had most likely gone bad anyway. Then he took a deep breath and almost fell over. This thing stunk! He continued to search around, now trying to cover his nose too and not breathe so deeply and finally found a bottle of vodka. He took it out and behind it was another alcoholic beverage called tequila.

He grabbed the two bottles, one to clean the wound, drink, and keep warm with and the other for himself, and headed out the door. He tried to close the door the best he could; the house was in pretty good condition as was and he might have to make another visit here later in the month. Moonfyre jogged back up the cracked sidewalk, reached the house where Yuki was waiting, and flung the door open. He dodged up the stairs taking two at a time and dropped to the floor beside her.

He placed the vodka next to her for her to drink because in his opinion vodka tasted better and then placed the tequila and gauze near her injured leg. Moonfyre opened the tequila bottle, unraveled the old gauze, and readied the medical tape to be prepared for the next step. He took the tequila bottle and tipped it, holding the bottle over her injured leg but not pouring anything yet.

Are you ready?

She expected the male to desert her, enough though he had said he would be right back. "He wants to spare your feelings." How nice of him, she thought back sarcastically. She chewed her tongue as she waited, eventually causing blood to drip from it. Choosing not to loose any more blood, she swallowed it. A look of disgust crossed her face, she licked her paw to wipe off the taste of it. Little did the canine know, swallowing your own blood does not return it to your veins, where it belongs.

It was very unexpected when she heard the male reopen the apartment's door. "You're weak, stand! Do you want to die here?" She let the question sit for a moment, thinking about being found in a humans house, bleeding out, because of a cut she had received from a fight with a mattress. "Get UP!" Yuki did as she was told, she stood. Her fur was raised like her tail, the redness from her tongue dripped from her mouth, adding to her already vicious appearance. Not a trace of innocence could be found now. Her lips curled back to reveal her sharp canines as she let out a low growl. Despite her feral figure, she could pass as a blood lusted werewolf right about now. Preying off the fear of the small critters that could hear her. She barely relaxed her position as she saw that it was the male who had just saved her. It took her a minute to stop the sound that she had not heard from herself in so long. She went back to her place on the floor, avoiding his eyes. "You were just protecting yourself from what it COULD have been." Somehow, she still felt as if he had caught her off guard on a different level. He had seen to many different sides of her today, that was for sure.

"Sorry.. I thought you were..- Something else." She returned to her spot on the floor, and stared up at the bottle in his hand. She recognized alcohol. She had never tried it, but the lady of birds had always kept some in her cabinets for 'special occasions'. The hag always seemed happier after she had a few bottles, always bubbly and joyful. "Ready for what?" She wondered. "Sure." She responded aloud, holding little emotion in her voice. She glanced at his changed form, then back at the wood floor. She felt as if she was looking at something that wasn't hers to look at, reminding her of the time she had caught the Bird Lady naked and was scolded. "REALLY not the time to be thinking about that."

This has turned out interesting =]

Yuki’s growls barely brought any emotion to his mind at all. She could growl all she wanted and it wouldn’t affect him. Though, if she lunged toward him they would have a slight situation. He looked into her eyes and held his gaze for a moment before looking away, and focusing back on her wound which was gushing more blood than before. She really shouldn’t have stood.

Here we go.

He tipped the tequila bottle over and the liquid rushed into her cut. He knew the pain that was coming, and squirmed thinking about it. He stopped pouring and placed the bottle away from her, and put the cap back on it. He gave her some room to squirm because alcohol hurt the most on cuts and especially deep ones like this. Then he grabbed the gauze and wrapped it snuggly around her leg and wrapped it with medical tape to ensure it was on and not going anywhere.

Then he sat back against the wall behind them and grabbed the vodka bottle. He unscrewed the cap and took a large sip. He scrunched his face as the liquor burned his throat on its way down. He hadn’t had any in a while especially something as strong as vodka. He looked at Yuki and tipped the bottle her way as an offer.

I think you’d have to shift if you want to drink any.

He kept his gaze on her and studied the way she acted now. He liked this Yuki and he wondered if this was her normal self. He’d seen so many sides of her today that he was unsure of which was her real one. His eyes swept over her body as he took her in. He avoided looking at the wound he just bandaged hoping to not remind her of the pain.

Yupyup!

__________________________________________

"Pain is an emotion, not a sense. Emotions, emotions.." But she was almost sure she had felt the 'pain' the metal spring had caused her, hadn't she? "Or you just wanted him to come back.." She licked the blood off her lip to keep it from dribbling as he began to pour. The first few drops were the worst. She squirmed and kicked, but managed not to hurt herself or Moonfyre, not to say the same for the wall she had kicked. It flushed out a lot of the bacteria from her wound, but lord did it burn. When he had finished pouring, she was dizzy with pain. Flashes of lights dotted in randomized places, causing her to blink repeatedly to make them go away. Unfortunately, she was not that lucky. She looked back at the male as he chugged down the other bottle of alcohol. "Hopefully that stuff doesn't burn as much going down as it does entering." She said, referring to her now bandaged wound.

After she was convinced the alcohol had done its job, she began to clean it on her own. Her sand paper like tongue rubbed along her skin, licking up the salty crimson. When she slowed down the source a bit, she moved to the surrounding fur. The fur was stained well, but when she had finished only a light pink tint was left behind. She gave the painful gash a few more licks before turning her attention to the window.

She had always thought that those with luperci could sense if others had it, but the male led her to believe otherwise when he hinted that she would need to 'shift' to share the drink. "I would, but I can't." She looked down at her paws then back to him, "That would be one thing I didn't mention, sorry to disappoint." She wasn't particularly touchy about the subject, but she knew she would always have a disadvantage. "Why haven't you left yet?" Her voice held only pure curiosity. She was almost sure he would leave now, knowing that they couldn't even share a victory drink.

Because I don’t want to.

Does she really just want me to leave, then? He thought about it for a moment and looked at the bottle of vodka before them. He didn’t even think of her it, and now that she mentioned it he realized what he felt was missing about her. She wasn’t a luperci like most of the other wolves in the Souls territory. Moonfyre let out a deep sigh and got up and stepped down the stairs.

I’ll be right back.

He went downstairs and began to rummage around the kitchen. He knew what he was looking for: something for his friend so she can share a drink with him, a bowl. He rummaged through the bottom cabinets first, under the sink, and only found dead rats and rotten food. He found a stash of a white substance in five tiny little baggies which he pocketed. He thought he knew what it was, maybe cocaine. He threw all the unwanted crap on the floor to search in the back. Nothing. Then he searched the top cabinets and found that was where the dishes were. He found plates, knives, and shallow bowls at first but then as if it were calling to him he found a perfect bowl. It was dusty but he wiped the dust off with his fluffy hand. It should be clean enough.

He walked out of the kitchen and back up the stairs passing the bed on his way. He reached the top of the stairs and sat back in his spot and grabbed the bottle as he placed the bowl on the floor in front of Yuki. He poured some contents of the bottle into the bowl so she could drink with him. Then he took another large sip himself and began to talk.

See? Aren’t you glad I’m so resourceful? Drink it, it’ll help you forget about the pain.

He nudged the bowl closer to her with his knuckles. He leaned back against the wall and continued drinking his bottle. It was settled: Yuki was his new friend, the tequila will only be used for injuries, and the vodka tasted good. He was staring out the broken window watching the birds fly passed, but then he returned his gaze back to her.

Would you like to become luperci?
