Anyone and everyone welcome! Soran needs to meet people/ catch up with people (well... wolves XD)

The air was cold and clear, the early morning light was almost grey at the moment, the day filled with a haze of mist that the sun had yet to clear, partially because it had yet to rise above the horizon and partially because of the lining of grey clouds that covered the sky. Leaves were falling in droves from the gnarled branches of the trees now, the yellow and red objects fluttering in the breeze and all of a sudden coming free and floating to the ground, littering the green grass of the lands. All in all the damage after the hurricane seemed to be mostly repaired now, or at least fixed to the best of everyone's ability, the pack pulling together in a time like this was truly inspiring. The undergrowth had remained intact for the most part, some of the lower bramble bushes were thick and filled with berries and seeds that the smaller animals, who were now clearly feeling brave enough to venture out once again, seemed to enjoy nibbling on to sustain themselves. One such animal was a large, plump rabbit, slowly it bounced from out of one of the lower hedgerows, hopping here and there before stopping to chew on a ripe berry on a low hanging branch. It seemed to be enjoying itself greatly, nibbling quickly at the berry, its ears swiveled as it ate, its nose twitching intermittently as it chewed. It turned its head, glancing nervously about for signs of danger with huge brown eyes, seemingly seeing nothing it continued to eat, chewing on a leaf absent mindedly.

Suddenly the creature froze, its eyes seeming to widen impossibly as it began to shake a little, almost as if it were caught in the headlights of car in the human world. Soon enough the reason for its terror was evident. As if on springs a sable wolf leapt from the undergrowth, long limbs moving her lithe form across the lands quickly, paws making barely a sound as they made contact with the ground. Soran moved swiftly, the feathers attached to the left hand side of her head being an unwanted distraction as they fluttered in the wind she was creating, she would have to remember that for the next time she was hunting, distractions were not wanted nor needed when catching breakfast. She was closing the distance between herself and the rabbit rapidly, her green eyes fixed on her target and nothing else, it was frozen with terror, shaking, seeming to have no idea what to do with itself. Too late it decided that running was the best option, making the beginnings of a rapid dash to the left, far too late indeed. Jaws closed around the back of its neck quickly, it was dead almost instantly. Soran dropped it and smiled to herself, she might have been old but she could certainly still take down a rabbit with ease, a small pang of sadness crossed her chest as she realised that normally at this time in the morning she would usually be catching two rabbits and taking one back for Deuce, but she didn't anymore, oh where was her pale lover? She picked the limp brown creature up and padded towards a nearby tree, lying down beneath its boughs and digging into her breakfast with gusto. All her recent travels in search of Deuce had caused her to build up quite an appetite it seemed.
