Glazed Hearts

Jordyn stepped out through her empty door frame and into the light of day. It was early in the morning. The clouds were still pink and orange, with dashes of blue in them. The moon was still visible, but was transparent instead of its usual shiny self. The grass had been sprinkled with dew, and a chilly morning wind was present as usual. The collie had slept very well, and was ready for her new day. Hr day was free so she thought she could go for a walk around the pack. Not many people were out at this time, since she had been accustomed to waking up at the crack of dawn to continue her journey.

She leaned against the house, just looking at first. She had a solemn look on her face since she was thinking hard. The house she had chosen was more isolated than the others, and it had the longest walk, but if it had one thing, it was a view. She could see over all of the houses, and past the borders. The collie smiled, and blew a bang out of her face. She kicked off of the wall with the foot that was supporting, and stepped forward. As she headed down the hill, she looked around at the other residents of the Vinátta pack. It interested her to think about all of the stories they held. She wanted to meet all of them. Every, single last one of them, and she looked forward to it.
