Yeah, For Seymon- Branch off of Sherman's March to the Sea

WHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! the wicked high-pitched laugh of the coy-dog's voice rang through the air as he ran rampant. There was fire everywhere! He continued to send the cocktails from his arms, the firey and icy gaze of the male turning into something almost manic looking. Fire, burn, burn BURN. The flames were Dancing, and he felt like he was the devil for once. He felt empowered. He wanted the whole plain to be burned down. He wanted more and more of the land consumed with flames. He had long lost sight of his leader and back up by now, simply because he was the one who was supposed to be setting fires. He'd return when he needed to. For now, he was running around, being a maniac with setting aflame the village. LET IT ALL BURN! the coy-dog screamed out, throwing the last two out into the distance. It was then, something hit him.

It was a rock? Cotl got hit with another one before he realized that there was someone dahlian not far off, throwing them. Cotl growled and finally drew his sword. There was another rock heading straight for him, bigger than some of the others, and it hit him right in the middle of his forehead. Cotl stopped for a moment and his hand went to his head. Ouch! the male let out a yelp before he had stumbled back and shook his head. The impact wasn't hard enough for him to be knocked out, but it sure did give him a headache. Cotl growled again before focusing on the form of the one who threw the rocks and he charged, the weight of the cocktails being lifted from his shoulders since he had finished throwing them. He was swift, and in matters of seconds, Cotl was up at the other, his sword dancing through the air before him, slashing at the other male. The other better be quicker than he was.

Slow reply is slow; I'll be quicker now. It's probably a good idea if the stone misses.

In the chaos he had ceased his bombardement of the blinded wolf. His eyes had been drawn to smaller, more distant new fires that sprung up beyond the general scene of battle, and now he had moved to seek its source. Soon enough, through the hues of fire and smoke, he had noticed a peculiar figure who did not exactly try to be stealthy. Giving a small smile to the left of his face, Semyon readied a stone in his sling. He could easily hit that target from here, no? He thought so. Time moved slowly where he crouched, attempting to stay hidden. The leather armor that covered his thighs, upper arms and torso had several uses; protection from claws, fangs and blades, as well as protection from his own sling, should he in a weakened moment miscalculate. But he did not now; his mind was clear. Eyes that matched the flames around him danced similarly, studied the coyote as the stone was spun faster and faster, and finally sent on its way. Fortunately for this... individual, the stone would likely not kill him, though if it did strike, it'd likely take him out. What a grand prize it would be to offer him to Haku; perhaps then his obligations would be met, and he could be on his way. It was a good thought, and he did not study the bane of the stone, but the coyote he hoped to strike with it.

Then it shall <3 Have him miss or whatever, he's just blindly swinging his sword now. Easily disarm-able. feel free to pp.

Cotl had been charging up to the other male, who was swinging a sling still. The small male had seen the rock coming straight for him, but he was quick to drop to the ground, hands down on the ground, and his body flat. Once he was sure that the wolf would have to find some more to reload and throw, Cotl took advantage to again, get closer to the other. Cotl's first strike was an upper slash, his sword scraping the ground before he thrusted up. He had missed this one, he knew for sure because he heard the sword still singing in the air. How he missed? He didn't know, he probably just misjudged the distance, the fire and smoke getting in the way of his sight now. He would probably have an easier time on all fours, but you couldn't use a sword on all fours, so he would have to work with what he got.

Since his uppercut was too far away, the canine had stepped forward twice before started to swing blindly into the smoke, hoping that he hit the male that was throwing rocks at him.

He thrust the sling aside; it could be retrieved later, or he could easily make a new one. The other surprised him; not by having a weapon, because this was to be expected in a raid. But the blind thrusting of said weapon, and the lack of fear in his opponent was not what he had expected. Trained eyes studied the other's motions carefully, stepping aside at the right moments. The attempted uppercut failed before it was close to landing; scraping it along the ground slowed the movement down, and allowed the warrior to move correctly to make it miss. Semyon did not smile, even if he enjoyed this in a strange way. The calculations, his own skill at this game, how everything fit into place and the empty, ready state of mind he had when fighting; it was his own essence. His left arm reached for his blade as he stepped aside again, but this time the blade scratched his leather protection, though not deeply enough to wound him. The smaller coyote was pushing Semyon backwards; an unwanted situation. It was time for the warrior to take the lead in this fight. In a combined movement that he'd trained for years (one of his favorite moves, one could say), he stepped quickly to the side and aimed to slash his three-bladed knife into the smaller one's side. The coyote didn't seem too experienced, but Semyon misjudged the possibility of luck; the wildly swinging sword soared through the air and landed on his thigh protected by leather, but now it slashed through in the weak parts of the armor; the seam. Blade pieced skin underneath, and Semyon growled and jerked the leg towards him, taking a few steps backwards. More than a growl of pain, it was a growl of annoyance. He should not have allowed this to happen. Ignoring the pain once he had taken a moment to analyze it and realize that it was not a mortal, but a superficial cut (if long), he aimed for a revenge; taking two decisive steps forward, he thrust the blade out in front of himself, aiming for the soft skin of the stomach. There was no surviving that one, and Semyon would not have this annoying little coyote wound him again. Someone was bound to lose an eye when swinging swords about like that, and he didn't intend it to be his own. The stomach was not what he hit, however; it was the flailing sword. As the warrior twisted his weapon and jerked it aside, having caught his opponent's sword between the three blades of his own knife, the sword flew to the left and landed on the ground beside them. His opponent now unarmed, Semyon took a threatening pose, knife in hand, and a small smile crept up on his lips. Haku would be satisfied with this, without doubt.

Cotl had been swinging madly, only feeling resistance twice against the blade. That means he hit something twice out of the many slashes he attempted to make. The wolven before him had taken his own blade though, and countered. Cotl saw the strike coming towards his stomach, and he twisted his sword to block it. Mistake #1. He left himself in a position that he could easily be disarmed, and that was exactly what had happened. Cotl let the sword fall to the ground, and he jumped back a few paces before falling down on his four legs. He was trained to fight with his hands and teeth rather than a sword or weapon, so disarming him was more like a blessing than a curse. Cotl now would have to make sure he didn't get hit in the wrong place though, because without a weapon or armor, he would easily be able to be sliced open by the other armored male. Cotl knew where he was going to aim. He was going to aim for the face. It was the easiest way to win a fight. Blind them, and they cannot see you. Therefore they either run or be killed. He had been taught this trick, and it was stuck in his brain to fight at the face instead of the body. Because anyone can get their arm sliced up and just use the opposite to fight instead of just that one. If you were able to fuck up the ears and nose while you're aiming for the eyes, then you knocked out three of the five senses. The only other two senses that they had left were taste, touch. Taste would be hard to get rid of, as well as touch, so knocking out the other three senses was what he would be aiming for. Two out of three would also work.

The rust male had shook out his pelt for a split second before he had charged at the other male on all fours. He had hoped that the smoke would cover his appearance a bit, just so he could be noticed later than normal, but the wind did seem to want to be on his side. Cotl's excitement rose, the two battling around the blazing fires that were getting bigger and bigger. Cotl let only a small ping of worry cross him when he thought about how the fire might close him in, leaving him no room to escape from the wolf brute in front of him. Fangs bared anyways, the little monster had launched himself at the wolf, aiming to sink his fangs, and/or claws into the male's face.

Crappy post, sorry. Going for some of the injuries you described in the PM:

I would like to get cotl on the chest, vertical slash down from maybe his right shoulder to maybe the bottom of his ribcage, straight down on the right, and a slash horizontal n the middle of his back, this probably being obtained when he's fleeing the other while they are actually fighting.

The other seemed unconcerned at losing his weapon, and Semyon's smile disappeared. He did not care much for the kind of warrior that did not face defeat, but fought desperately until they lost in much more gruesome ways than they would have otherwise. Sure, they could fight to the death if this one wanted; Semyon was confident that he would win. In that sense, the only difference for the other was the difference between a painless death and a very painful death; Semyon could slit his throat there and then if the coyote admitted defeat, or they could fight desperately and he would slowly grind this one down to a little ball of dead flesh. Given how he charged at the warrior, Semyon concluded that it'd be the last option on that list. He deftly dodged the charge and came down with his knife as an immediate response. Semyon had fought many weaponless canines before. Some warrior might think it unethical that Semyon did not abandon the weapon in order to fight the other on equal terms, but this warrior couldn't care less. He was here to win, not play fair. His smile crept back up on his muzzle as he lashed out with his three-bladed knife, aiming for the other's chest. Nothing silenced someone like a little wound in the chest; a little hole in the heart always did the trick.
