The sound of bamboo chimes drifted to her salt and pepper ears. She could hear the slight noise, and peered around curiously. She'd never stumbled on the place before in all her time there, and was happy to have found it now. The place was pretty, and mostly open, which made limping along with her cane easier. She was hunting down more blankets and things to drag into her shack she'd built in the moaning woods. It would be nice to be back there before night fell, but she was pretty sure she was too far away. It wasn't too bad. The cold didn't bother her much, she mostly ignored the ache it made settle into her weary bones. Instead she focused on trudging along, her empty knapsack strewn over one shoulder.

"Oh shut up, Damian." Her voice was crisp and clear in the sunlight. His voice was whispering in her ear, and when she looked around, she was certain she could see him from the corners of her eyes. But that was no big deal, he was her ghost and god. He would always be there with her. It seemed coming back to these lands had made him become more clear. His power was so much stronger here. Ahren still lived in Clouded Tears, she was certain. Damian had cursed him for it. She let out a soft laugh at the sounds only she could hear, and walked along, lonely, but content.

Nos had been wide-eyed since the moment that they'd stepped foot off of the boat. Despite her strong urge to wander away and examine every little thing, the inky black girl had stayed close with her siblings, feeling the need to let them lead her and just look at what she could while she was with them. The thought of wandering off on her own wasn't one that she was fond of, especially in a place that she didn't know very well. Unfortunately for Nox though, she'd lost track of her siblings at some point in their wanderings, most likely because of how slow she was and the fact that she tried to take every moment that she could to stop and look around. The place was amazing even though she'd only seen a small portion, and it was even more amazing than what she imagined from the stories that she was told.

Nox, upon noticing the absence of her siblings in the immediate area, went straight for the nearest building. It was small and old looking with a bunch of debris littering the outside. Unlike her siblings, she much preferred to stay in her four legged form, which made it easier for her to hide and made her feel like she was bringing less attention to herself. She was just about to peer into the building, just to make certain that they hadn't simply gone inside to look around, when she heard the faint sound of a voice. "Z..zz..a-adi?" She whispered, though a bit more audibly than a normal whisper, and slinked back against the building, trying to make herself disappear.
