She thought she would feel tired by now – drenched, cold and weak with hunger … but the female stood against her word and forced herself through the rain, guiding the two wolves behind her. All scents were washed away now and a lone wolf wouldn’t have been able to even scent a pack in the area, but the grey wolf knew well where her home lay. It seemed as if she had just stepped over the border this morning, which she had. Wandering the beach for hours and even days (spread apart of course) was a habit of the young girl. This day happened to be special for she had found friends. Looking back again, metallic colored irises searched the gloom for Yuki and BIOS. Finding their dark shapes, she let out the breath she had held in fear and continued.

Beautiful pine trees began looming up beside the three as they approached Cour Des Miracles border. Ever breathed in the familiar fragrance and resisted the urge to run. They gained quietly and cautiously. The silver furred female realized how much danger she could be in, bringing two loners into the territory. As soon as the border was behind them, she shot into the tree’s and raised her maw, a howl quivering through her lips. Though the wind whipped and lashed, roaring across the land, the howl carried for miles until it reached the destined ears … Rurik Russo.

Yuki followed closely behind Ever as she led them to her homelands. The wolfdog's lungs squeezed, then expanded as she tried to grasp more air. Her tongue hung out of the side of her mouth lazily, the wind currents pushing back against her. Her heart pounded against her chest, she was almost completely convinced that every one around her could hear it as well. It was a steady pumping sound as it sent blood to the rest of her body.

After catching up to Ever again, she slowed down to a slow tred. She squinted hard to take in her beautiful surroundings, but her left eye refused too let her see any thing more then the blurry outline of trees. This was one of the moments when she hated not being fully capable of seeing every thing out of both of her eyes. Her blue eye's vision changed almost every day, from being able to see every thing crystal clear, too being as close to blind as you can get. She could easily close her left eye, but it was never the same. She squinted harder, her eyes halfway closed, some times if she tried to focus on some thing for long enough, her eye would be drawn to attention, but right now, that was definitely not the case.

As the beautiful howl left Ever's lips, Yuki's ears perked up. She listened and waited as it traveled over the vast lands, bouncing off every tree and any thing else that stood in its way. Just as her heart had began to get back to a regular pace, it sped up again. She was quite sure that they shouldn't be here, it would almost be considered trespassing. But as she looked over at Ever, she realized that this was her home as well. She could not tell how far they had went into the territory, but she hoped they weren't too far in to not be able to make a hastily getaway, if it was required of course.. When she could only faintly hear the howl that had been sent out, one word slipped past her lips "Wow..."

Geez..! but this is a shame! This thread even got all covered by the threadsr post while I was slacking..! :C But is Enough..! It's Time to go on..! n__o

Running close to Ever, being followed by Yuki and Belle, BIOS appreciated in each step several differences on his path... They were still near the same beach where he woke up hours ago, but the scents that were covering that place were all different, many persons had past across, to a new whole civilization they were approaching...

BIOS just looked around, the trees the soft earth, the animals around... all was new for him who in seven months of live didn't go out of the city in the waste... "But what's all of this? From home I'm so missed??" the canis was thinking as he advanced until the moment everyone suddenly stopped... As I mentioned before, BIOS didn't knew a thing about the paks and territories around, and so , if he was all alone, he could have go on without imagining he was trespassing a yet forbidden borders, something that would have resulted in problems for him...

"Ehh? Ever..? What's wrong..? Why we don't keep on..?"

The dog asked confused looking around... There was something threatening them? Or has Ever forgot something important..? The questions in his mind would be washed away by listening to the long, deep and mysterious howl Ever made for some reason... Reposing in front of the trees and waiting for the stars to give an answer Ever seemingly was in BIOS perspective...

What were howls for..? in the nights back in the Homeland he had listened to them several times, they always sounded so sad... so mysterious for him... In the poetry they were like a cry to the moon or a call for someone from beyond... Moonglare told him that it was a way of expression of some kind of canis, but they still were far of BIOS comprehension and it was not convenient for him to investigate or interrupt them... That was when he was two or three months old and among many things in the life, BIOS was intrigued for that behavior...

BIOS gave one step closer to her, he was about to ask her about her action, but then he stopped... for the expression in her face and the other's tranquility he deduced that was something natural or necessary... and so, the canis got a little closer to Ever and sat behind her saying no more... Waiting for anything to occur in any time...

Pale blue eyes gazed listlessly into the gloom of the day; it seemed that it had been raining forever now. He could hardly remember the sunshine. Though Rurik was not normally one to allow the weather to dictate his mood, he could not help but feel slighted by these storms; today should have been a gorgeous summer day, and instead he was caged inside of his house like a pet rat. Leaning against the pane, the silver-shaded werewolf pressed the wet tip of his nose to the cold glass of the window, sighing rather childishly. Suddenly renewed, the silver-shaded man sat straight up, a look of determination crossing his face.

He wasn't about to let some rain ruin a good day, and so he stood, calling a good-bye to an unresponsive Liliya as he went out the door and into the pounding storm. Almost immediately, he regretted his decision—just as quickly as he had left his home, he was soaked to the bone. Grumbling, the silver-shaded werewolf stripped off his pants, leaving them in a soaking pile on his front porch. It didn't matter if they sat in the rain; he'd clean them and hang them long before they even thought about going moldy.

A strange sound cut through the constant din of the falling rain; the silver-shaded werewolf listed his head curiously, recognizing his own name in the voice of a stranger. Confused, the man hesitated for a moment, wondering why someone he did not know would beckon for him. Rurik was not a suspicious canine, and he began heading toward the source of the howl, navigating his way over the rainy terrain carefully. Before long, he could see not one but three figures through the gloom—he was surprised, to say the least. The silver-shaded werewolf smiled awkwardly, recognizing only one of these three.

“Allo,” the Russian wolf said, a rather confused but altogether friendly smile placed squarely on his muzzle. For once in his life, Rurik did not quite know what to say.

The canis were looking among the trees, expecting anyone to come out any time answering to the call of Ever as it seemed that no one knew the one named Rurik for certain… BIOS, after thinking about it, felt pressure in his chest, he was about to confirm of whom was the name he apparently dreamed… All the blurry memories in his mind and the estrange “illusion” he had in the morning were slowly convincing and in the same time intimidating him to the idea of watching front to front a real “walker”… He gulped… He suddenly felt he was not prepared to confront that childish fear yet..! But for the time he wanted to retreat and go it was too late..!

“Allo”

The friendly voice echoed in everyone’s eardrums and everyone turned to met him… BIOS twitched his neck to slowly follow with his eyes the figure that appeared before them from it’s feet to the head… He was just like he remembered, a tall and dark figure standing in a pair of paws and whose eyes glowed with a intense white color whit each lightning the storm generated..! He also could notice some characteristics he saw in the morning: the face and inferior paws were corresponding to a wolf’s… but the rest of his body… his arms, his shoulders, his chest… all of that was not just natural… it was not “canis”..!

Everyone could notice the “walker” approaching and the females stood calm looking at him, but they soon noticed in Rurik’s gaze that BIOS was not in the same way, for that moment, for the fear he still felt for that figure, the dog instinctually retreated slowly, like 10 feet away from everyone… he was just staring wide to the figure of Rurik, he once again tried to deceive himself about the existence of the walkers and was thinking about running away..! But something stopped him from doing so… Yuki, Ever and Belle were there… they seemed not scared at all… Rurik itself seemed passive, without bad intentions in his posture and gaze…

“Fearless…”

BIOS started to whisper for himself… making an effort to put his front paws firmly on the soil…

“…and harmless…”

Some titanic effort was required to finally acquire a half-firm posture I front of the two-legged wolf… The dog still was not able to get closer to him, but slowly, he was clearing his mind and starting to form words that bit by bit flowed through his throat and finally came out of his muzzle…

“Y-Yo-You a- You are- Rurik Russo...
T-The one who s-saved me...??”

A first question was finally conceived to the wolf…

Sorry for the sucky post, I reflected my feelings now into Ever. >.<
403

The air was cold with the storm ripping through the clouds overhead. As the howl left her lips and swept across the land Ever was suddenly chilled, her hackles raised slightly. She could hear BIOS’s comment but she couldn’t answer. The four wolves huddled in the small shelter in the woods with a canopy of thick leaves above. All they could do was wait until Rurik Russo showed up. The minutes ticked by but all that could be heard was the storm thrashing against the canopy. Feeling cold and wet to the bone, the young silver female crouched with her head to her chest and her tail tucked under herself. Her knees shook and her eyes were dull. Rain drops dripped from her muzzle and into her eyes until she closed them.

Then he appeared. Blending into the darkness, the male stood tall, strong and unaffected by the weather. The female barely glanced up. She was feeling miserable; being out from home for days. She was still just a pup after all. Instantly, the wolf could feel BIOS tensing up beside her. She could almost hear a whimper in his throat. This is when she lifted her head with worry. Raindrops still seeped off her pelt and onto the ground. The male pup’s eyes were white with fear. Ever stuck out her tongue and licked away a stray drop of water lingering on her nose, which was quickly replaced with another. But she hardly noticed. Confusion filled her with angst as she watched the wolves around her. Isn’t this what they wanted? BIOS seemed horribly shaken. What had she done? It was a dreadful thought, thinking the young female had led her friends somewhere they shouldn’t have been.

Being kind with a simple hello, was all Rurik offered. He looked at BIOS with a calm intensity. It was rather frightening in the dim light of the storm. The male dog whispered reassuring words to himself as he forced a step forward than an easy one back. All of this the female watched, her dull eyes flickering tiredly. Finally, BIOS spoke, his voice stuttering with either the cold or the fear. Maybe both. He spoke of Rurik saving him. It was hard to keep up without the background information. Ever let out a silent sigh, her breath clouding the air like steam. Looking over at the other wolves, she mirrored their confusion.

Skittles.

It had been so long since Yuki had experienced any thing even close to a pack structure. It had always seemed to her that all the members were family; whether they were loners who had joined or not. They owned some thing, together, they were like room mates of nature. "It is different then a squirrel being in the tree and a raccoon living under it. If raccoons even live underground.." She thought with little confidence. She wished she had got the chance to know what it had felt like.. To be accepted.. To have people to call your family.. To be included in Celebrations.. But if her mother hadn't made those stupid decisions and got kicked out the pack, that would have meant she wouldn't have mated with some one outside of the pack and Yuki wouldn't of been born. "If that would be considered such a bad thing."

She felt like she didn't belong. Every one could see the man called Rurik that they tried so hard to find, along with the beautiful scenery. Anger bubbled inside her stomach, she felt it slowly climb up her throat, tingling and wanting to boil out as words. She wanted to yell and scream "How could some thing considered so mighty give me this curse? I can't even see the earth I live on half the time I'm here!" she suddenly felt sick, she wished that anger was a living thing she would fight it head on. She would destroy it. She could experience being content with the days when she could see everything clearly. If only anger was a person, and if only she could have the feeling courage on her side.

As she day-dreamed about impossible things, she hardly noticed as BIOS starting speaking. She watched as he moved back timidly, it broke her heart. It reminded her of herself when she was younger, always afraid of the unknown. She lifted her head back, looking up into the sky her eyes desired to behold. Rain drops soaked her face, purifying her and clearing her mind. She could barely see the dark outline of the clouds. But a faint shape was flying was slightly visible with the dark rain clouds as a background. It was a bird, its motions were zigzagged as it flew awkwardly across the sky. A smile was drawn to her lips as she recognized the familiar figure or the bird. "Chip." She thought to herself as he neared her and landed by her side. His feathers were smoothed back, all except the small patch that stuck straight up in the middle of his head like a Mohawk. "You came." She said silently, hoping that he some how understood how pleased she was with him. But with her blurred vision she could barely tell if he was even staring up at her with those beady eyes, and at that moment, Yuki Miyako wanted to cry.

One of the trio seemed to retreat slowly at his appearance, and Rurik frowned at this; he had recognized BIOS, but he did not realize the young man was afraid of him, and he did not know why. This was bothersome, certainly, but Rurik was not the type to voice his own discomfort. He figured BIOS would come around, and once again he smiled to encourage this. As the dog crept forward, Rurik's smile broadened. No one seemed particularly forward; the females remained relatively quiet, one of them murmuring words to a small bird that landed nearby. Rurik could not make out these words, but BIOS began to speak, more clearly and directed toward him. The silver-shaded werewolf's eyes widened; he didn't consider what he had done any sort of saving. “Er... I... I guess!” he said, reaching his hand up to nervously tug at his hair, smiling bashfully. “Well, I mean. I am Rurik Russo—I just didn't know I'd done you such a favor, mine friend.” he admitted truthfully. It had never occurred to Rurik that intervening in that conversation would have been considered salvation—he hadn't thought it was such a big deal, but apparently it had made quite the impact on BIOS's life, and so Rurik would not question such a thing. “Is there something else I could do for you? You guys look like a funeral line,” he said, studying the somber faces before him, trying to lighten the mood with something of a joke.

“Er... I... I guess! Well, I mean. I am Rurik Russo—I just didn't know I'd done you such a favor, mine friend."

Was the answer of the walker before BIOS, the dogs mind was still kind of blurry for understanding all of these simple words... But for now, anyway, he was getting the answer he was looking for and in the same time the answer he was afraid to receive, the beings that were seemingly a dream were in that precise moment confirming to be true…

“Then…. You do exist…?”

The canis told, as I told you before, his mind was still blurry and he could notice that before the confusion turned in more confusion or sarcasm…

“Ah… sorry… I… I mean… I’ve never seen beings like you before… I mean… your body standing like that…”

He meant the “luperci” form but he didn’t know that word yet… The dog was not yet concentrated enough to rhyme as usual, but unless the fear was slowly passing and being replaced by nerves and some shyness…

“Uhmmm sorry… ahhh any way… you…. You weren’t the one that picked me up… and brought me into a cave near the shore and …healed my wounds..?”

BIOS hardly asked, but he was progressing fast for the way he felt and in comparison of how he started the conversation…

This. Thread. Is. Ganna. Die. D:

Yuki watched as the blurs conversed, BIOS still seemed to be a bit scared, but more reassured then he was a moment ago. Chip seemed to sense the awkwardness as well, because he automaticly switched to silent mode. Her ears perked as the dog talked about the way the man named Rurik was standing, it was the little things that she could catch people saying that could give her hints about her surroundings. Of course she could just ask some one, but she didn't really want any one to know that she had ran almost blindly the whole way there.

She grinned as the man joked, obviously trying to get them to soften up. As she sat on the cool ground, she guessed that it was grass, meaning they had came a long way from the beach. Her tail swayed as she listened and waited for the conversation to carry on.

This post looks great thus far. :3 Still a little work on dashes, but as it's a very difficult habit to break, nobody expects you to improve overnight! Spelling was much improved in this post, as well. ^_^

The silver-shaded werewolf was confused at first; was his presence here before BIOS not proof enough of his existence? Then, as the dog continued, the werewolf came to a realization: this one was not familiar with Luperci! It had been many years since Rurik had come over on the boat, and in those times, he had met quite a few canines who did not know what a two-legged canine was. Now, it seemed as if the majority of those he met were shifters, and so the man had not been expecting this. He grinned, relieved that it was a simple misunderstanding and not some hallucinatory madness. “Oh, yes! I am sorry, I did not know you were talking about being a Luperci,” the werewolf said, gently as he could—he offered this word with pride, his blue eyes shifting from one to another. There was nothing wrong with being a Luperci or a normal wolf if that was what one truly wanted, but Rurik enjoyed his abilities quite a lot, and he would share them, given the opportunity. “Aye, this was me! But I think you would have been alright on your own,” he said, smiling broadly. ”Strong guy, you know?” the werewolf he added, leaning toward the ladies and speaking more toward them. Though he was clearly exaggerating the nature of the situation for the benefit of the ladies present. “You were in rough shape, my friend,” he said, more somber. “But you look much healthier now,” he added, remarking on the dog's progress in healing since their last meeting. Even though the rain and general muck around them, Rurik could see BIOS was much better off than when they had first met.

"Luperci..?"

BIOS asked in low voice in he time that word came out, "Luperci... Is that the name of his kind..? or it is just the name of the way he is standing..? the dog was wondering while looking at his own paws, for just a very little moment he thought in the possibility of being like him someway, but then he glanced Rurik's "paws"... They were so different... just look at those large fingers! They seem more like a monkey's hand than anything else! how could it be possible for a dog to shape that form..?

BIOS shook a little and then listened to Rurik's following phrases, now it was clear that Rurik was the one who saved BIOS from a very probable death that awful day and BIOS, of course, was grateful for that, if it was not that BIOS was a little afraid of the wolf's shape yet he would have ran to "embrace" him (in a doggy way, I mean, putting his body side together the other being's side and holding his head on the other's back, though, BIOS would not have idea of how to embrace a being like Rurik...), For now it was enough with some words...

Mister Russo... Thank You so much... I'm indebted to you...

The most respectful position BIOS could made in return was to walk in front of the wolf (a little nervous yet) and bowing before him... It was like a person waiting for being turned into a knight in front of a king... after a little while, BIOS looked at Rurik... and then Yuki, Ever and Belle... All of them had something in common in that moment... Everyone were soaked to the bone due the heavy rain..!

Ahh, I'd like to ask you something important mister Russo...
But we'd better find some shelter before we caught a chill...

The best idea that BIOS could conceive was to return all the way to the coast to the cave they were before, he stood silent for a moment, maybe one of them knew or had a shelter near that place...
