The trees were thick but that hardly mattered. He had seen a flash of white through all the brown. And it was that which had attracted his attention. The slight glimpse of something different. Something that wasn't the same as everything else that was all around him. But before he could see just what it was it had disappeared. Of course this prompted him to follow. For him to take off in the direction that he had seen the flash of color. The coyote boy ran after where he had thought it had gone. The hoof prints on the ground were ignored. He had no idea about tracking. Had no idea that what he had seen had created these prints. Instead he was trying to stare through the trees after what he had seen pass through. He was trying to spot the animal again but wasn't having much luck.

A frown slipped onto his lips as he called out after whatever it was. "Wo bist du?" And for some reason he actually believed that it would answer him. That it would come out of hiding at the sound of his voice and just show itself off. He didn't realize that the sound of his voice had the potential to scare it farther away instead of drawing it in. He was so used to his Unky Cotl bringing him something to eat that he never had to depend on his own nonexistent hunting skills. And it was obvious that he didn't have any with the way that he was yelling out when he was trying to find something. It was just something else that he would eventually have to learn. Like most of the skills of life that other's his age seemed to already know. But it wasn't like the only parent that he grew up around had time enough to teach him the basics of life. When he wasn't called to play then he was generally left alone He had survived on the gifts that his mom's friends brought for her. She never noticed that he took them because she ended up spending her time with her friends and forgot all about the food.

Izaak started to move, the sound of his voice prompting the animal to take off again. He followed after it now that he had seen just which direction it had started in. The coyote child weaved through the trees in an attempt to keep up with the glimpses. "Warten!" He still hadn't figured out that the sound of his voice kept on spooking the creature into running. But lucky for him he was starting to catch up, perhaps because the baby was tired? Whatever the reason was he could finally see it through the trees and see just what he had been following after for so long. Standing through the trees, not far in front of him, was a baby reindeer. It was suffering from albinism which is what made it so easy to spot. It was also alone, having gotten separated from its herd. Or at least Izaak wasn't seeing any other caribou nearby. The poor baby. He made up his mind to take it home with him but had no idea how to go about doing it.

No worries, Talitha is in her lupus form to start out :] 5+

With her recent rise in a new promotion (which was very small), it was still a significant step for her to moving on up in the ranks and also holding more responsibilities for herself and for the rest of Inferni. Feeling like the hybrid disappointed many on several accounts, Talitha was willing to pick herself back up to be the luperci she used to be before the Dahlian War, before the rape, before all of the mental anguish set in. She had a long, long way to go before things would remotely turn somewhat back to normal (in the littlest of sense), but taking that small step forward was the beginning to traveling miles to where she needed to go. There was a part of herself that was lost among the fray of matters, and she desperately wanted to find it again. Even though things wouldn't entirely be the same ever again, she knew that her true self was within her somewhere, waiting for the right time to shine.

As a Praeses, the Shepherd looking hybrid was out and about scouting. As much as she didn't like traveling from all the traveling she previously done when Gabriel exiled her from Inferni due to the war, she was curious on becoming acquainted with the surrounding areas of Inferni again. Making it a point to stray as far away from the Dahlian borders as possible (for she never wanted to have anything to do with them ever again), her journey brought her temporarily through the outskirts of Halifax before she arrived within the woodlands of Ethereal Eclipse. Shifting into her Lupus form before embarking out, it was generally her rule and much easier to travel by four paws instead of two feet. Unless she was found scavenging about in Halifax for personal artifacts, Lupus was the preferred form of choice when traveling distances away from Inferni. It was quicker, and her skills were more sharpened of themselves.

Speaking of which, her nose caught scent of something that smelled like doe a mile back. Her loping was graceful and stealth, effortlessly carrying her over fallen dampwood and swiftly through tangled bushes until she herself thought she spotted something of a flash of white in the distance that made her already unusually large ears perk higher than they were. And then, a voice to follow thereafter. Talitha only paused momentarily to listen before progressing forward, sniffing out the two scents that were distinguished as faint tracks along the forest's floor. It wasn't until she came upon the one that might have said something (for she knew doe didn't typically speak), and she stopped suddenly, shocked to see that, at first, she instantly thought it was Cotl from D'Neville Mansion that she ran into again. But... it wasn't.

She immediately discerned that it wasn't Cotl, for whoever this was did look similarly like him, but could instantly tell the subtle differences in his facial features and structure that it wasn't. Cotl didn't mention anything about relatives and the such during their last encounter, and Talitha only assumed this might have been the case. Approaching softly with keeping her paw falls light (for she too spotted another glimpse of the white ahead of them, and instantly caught on to concluding that he was hunting the white figure), her tail wagged gingerly behind her. "What is that? It smells like doe, but..." Talitha kept her voice low, but was gesturing toward the prey he was hunting. She never seen an albino reindeer before until now, but was confused because she never even heard of one.

Izaak was spying on the young thing when another had approached him. He started a bit, having been so focused on the white herbivore before him that he hadn't listened out for the approach of another. But it wasn't like he ever knew to be cautious. When growing up he had only ever been around his mom and siblings and all of the guy friends that his mom had coming over. He was used to strange people coming and going all the time that he didn't have a fear of them. It just seemed a matter of course. Something that always happened and shouldn't be worried over. So strangers weren't a big deal to him.

After he got over the initial shock he glanced to the female and just shrugged. He had no idea what it was but he knew that he wanted it. He had no idea what she was talking about even. What was this doe that she was speaking of? Either way he didn't know if it smelled like that she he couldn't really comment on it. Though there was one thing that he could say. "Ich weiß nicht. Ich will es." He spoke up finally as he turned his attention back to the animal. That was what everything broke down into for him. If he wanted it or not. And if he wanted it then he was determined to get it one way or another. And well, right now he was trying to come up with a way to get this elusive hoofed prey item. But he didn't want to it. He just wanted to take it home with him and keep it. And why? Because it was pretty. It was why the coyote child had a second tail tied to his own. Because it was pretty and he wanted it.

"It's a baby. It needs a mommy." He was quite possibly speaking out loud to himself since he didn't really give his words any sort of direction. After all he couldn't take his eyes off of the pale coated baby. "I wants it. Wants take it homes." Accented voice spoke out again as he took a step forward. He had no idea what he was doing. But the baby wasn't coming to him as he just stood there. That meant he had to go to the baby. If only his Unky Cotl was here to trap it because the boy certainly had no idea how to go about doing so. After all as a twig snapped under his foot the reindeer lifted its head from where it had been eating and looked around. "Es ist okay, baby." He spoke the words to the young calf. Of course the words startled it further and had it dancing away a few paces more. Izaak frowned as he followed after it again. He just didn't understand why it kept on running from him. Why it wouldn't just come towards him so that he could take it home. He didn't get that the animal didn't realize that he had decent enough intentions and didn't want any harm coming to it.

When the man before her startled at her appearance, the hybrid took a step back to offer more room for personal comfort, but kept her crimson gaze ahead upon the white figure that captivated the both of them into seeking what it was. Usually, anything that looked like a juvenile with hooves was always coined as a doe to Talitha; she didn't know the specific names for juvenile reindeer, moose, caribou, none of that, just because to the hybrid, it was all considered the same, and at the end of the day, it would all end up as a nice, relished meal in her stomach. However, she was unaware of why this Cotl look alike wanted the prey in the first place, and not for the sake of eating it either.

There was a string of German that was spoken, to which of course Talitha couldn't translate, and only twisted her head to the side in thoughtful confusion. Apparently he wanted desperate possession of the little albino doe like creature, voicing his concerns about it in a more heavily accented English, and soon approaching close to it, to where of course the albino baby didn't want anything to do with the German speaking man and even the hybrid herself. It didn't sound like he was planning to butcher it and salvage the meat for himself or Inferni, and Talitha personally couldn't imagine what in the world he would even want to do with it other than have it for dinner (it was like that woman she met not too long ago with the horse, and the horse was big enough to feed the entire tribe of Inferni for two weeks!) Watching as the albino veered farther away the more that he approached, it was in her instinct to instantly break forward in order to chase it down and capture it, but then again, she had to restrain. Contemplating about this, she took a step forward toward him.

"Wait." Talitha said, almost in a gentle command. She didn't want him to go forward too much to where it would make it harder for him to get at the albino or lose track of it. "We can go about this another way. How about I help you, if you want me to?" The hybrid suggested, keeping her tone low and also her blood red gaze upon the albino baby still. She was the one who came upon him and the baby, and didn't want to seem like she was gung ho on intruding upon his personal business. "I can help you catch it. We can strategize. Ambush it from two sides. It'll be much easier." Talitha said, trying to keep her voice low and calm so it wouldn't jolt the albino any further than it already was.

What she was saying was lost on him. He didn't know anything about strategy and hunting tactics. He didn't the first thing about hunting. When he got food it was already dead and had been brought to him. He knew nothing about the effort it took to get to that point. His mother had been too busy with her own thing to ever teach him that. So this whole ambushing speech had him confused and it showed on his face. Still she was offering help and he wasn't so dense that he wouldn't accept it. He just didn't understand any of what she was saying. So what could he do? He did the only things that he could think to do.

He pointed towards the reindeer while he looked at Talitha. "My babys." He wasn't hungry so he didn't want to eat it. In some weird way he sympathized with it. While his mom was always home it was more like she wasn't there. She didn't like being bothered. Not unless she wanted attention because one of her friends wasn't able to make it. From the looks of it this young creature was all alone and had no one. Izaak knew just what that was like. His sisters liked staying together and often wouldn't involve him in their games. There was a good period of time, right after his brother gave him the second tail tied to his own, that he wanted nothing to do with Izaak. The young child hadn't, and still didn't, understand why Sascha avoided him after giving him something so precious and cherished. So the coyote boy knew exactly what it was like to be alone.

Also he liked it. It was pretty and he wanted it. And that was what most things boiled down to with him. If he liked it and it was pretty and it was interesting and he wanted it then he would have it one way or another. He had made up his mind that he wanted this albino baby and he would have it. He had already decided that it would sleep in his Unky Cotl's bed. Why? Because that was where he put everything. It really was just as simple as that.

"No eats. My babys." He was trying to make sure that she knew that this animal was off the menu. He didn't want it hurt. He only wanted to take it home with him. It was such a cute little things and some part of Izaak's mind told him that this baby needed him. Whether that was actually true or not was uncertain. But no one would be able to convince otherwise even if it was not so. Once his mind was made up it pretty much stayed that way. No one could tell him something different. He had to decide to change it on his own. That happened from one occasion to another. When something else would occupy his mind and attention. He often forgot what had been going on previously. But right now he was set on taking that baby home and putting it in his Unky Cotl's bed. "Babys comes homes wit me. Go in Unky Cotl's beds." Maybe that would help her understand just what he wanted to do. That the reindeer was to be a pet, not food.

When confusion registered upon his face, she couldn't help but exchange the same puzzled look right back to him. Was it because he was foreign, and his English wasn't up to par yet with certain words? Did she say something out of context? She wasn't sure, and for a moment felt strangely awkward all of a sudden. Assisting somebody to which they weren't properly introduced formally (or informally), and it seemed like the language gap looked wider than ever. That wasn't, and shouldn't, be an excuse for her to say screw it and walk away from it. The whole purpose of her return and the reasoning for her scouting during this time was to find something that was a problem or looked out of the ordinary, and to personally begin working on her own self esteem to be more of a giving and empathetic person, to find solutions.

It began to become more apparent that the strange Cotl van Ulrich look-alike (to which Talitha was beginning to assume more and more they were related somehow, she just knew it had to be the case) wanted the albino as a personal possession. Seriously, what was with coyotes, wolves, hybrids suddenly wanting to keep prey items as pretty companions and playthings? Talitha didn't understand. But, the more and more he began referring to it as a baby and how it was supposed to go in "Unky Cotl's bed" (which was a dead giveaway then that this was a relative of the tattoo artist), Talitha couldn't help but smirk at the last part. An albino doe looking baby, snuggling against Cotl in his bed. The image of coddling with an albino doe thing in a bed with some tattoo artist was pretty amusing, and it was then Talitha caught on to what he was saying.

"I get what you're saying now." She responded, giving a little smirk. "No food and no eating it. You want to catch as a pet." Talitha said, stating that she understood what his objective was now. As far as catching the thing without harming it, Talitha thought for a moment how that can be possible. She was currently on four legs, and running at it to scare it to where he can catch in his direction could work. "Lets see. Maybe I can scare it toward you, and you could catch it? Or, I can shift, and I can scare it toward you, catch it, and I can help you keep hold of it to bring it back to Inferni." It seemed a lot more logical than just running after it and scaring it farther away, for if she came from behind it, she can make it run toward him instead of having it run farther away from them. Hopefully he understood her plan of action then.

That wasn't quite it. He understood the meaning of the word he just wasn't sure why it was used. He didn't get the reason behind ambushing the baby. It was small and not trying to hurt them so why? He glanced from the female to the reindeer then back again. Why would she want to hurt his baby? No, his mind still didn't associate the live animals running around to the dead ones that he ate. He didn't really think about it. He just assumed that they came dead or something. He didn't know you actually had to kill to get dinner. Not that he hadn't killed But it isn't as if he's never killed. He's done that and caused permanent injury as well. He just didn't know that he had done such things. He didn't remember any of it. It had all happened during his black out episodes. When he came to again he couldn't recall anything that had happened. And even if he was told that he had done it he wasn't likely to believe it. He just couldn't see himself doing anything like that.

And why did he want it? Well, he didn't really recognize it as what she was calling it. It had four legs and fur, in his mind that equaled coyote because that is what he was. It was just a really odd looking coyote. That being such he had to show it to his Unky Cotl and father and brother. He had to know why it was deformed. Why it didn't look like other coyotes. He didn't quite seem to get that there were species besides coyotes in the world. Despite the abuse he suffered he was kept rather sheltered. Or actually he was just never taught anything that he should know. Aside from talking, reading, writing, and things someone his age shouldn't know he didn't really have any basic life knowledge. And he was under the assumption that everyone was just like him. That everyone had grown up exactly like him. He saw himself as normal, just like everybody else, and never once was given the inclination that others thought him to be odd. Thought him to be peculiar.

"No scare baby!" He spoke up quickly. He didn't understand that she was just going to make it run towards him. He thought that she was going to try to hurt it or something. Or make it fall down and hurt itself. After all Izaak had done that before. His sister had came up behind him before and scared him and he fell down and got hurt. When he started crying his mommy had gotten mad and started yelling and hitting. Since he had already fallen down and gotten hurt he couldn't get up to escape the beating and just had to lay on the ground and suffer until his mother finally grew tired and went back to lay down and drink again. He had kept the minor abrasions for a few days after that. He had been lucky that he had suffered anything permanent like his brother/cousin had. He didn't have the scarring that Sascha has. Not that Izaak wasn't scarred but that he only had the one hidden under his hair that he got when his mommy was loving him. "Baby get hurted if yous scare baby." And he didn't want the baby to get hurt. In his mind it was already deformed enough and didn't need to get even more deformed.

Hunting had been so customary and like second nature to the hybrid that she didn't believe there was anyone out there who didn't know the essentials of even the most basic of hunting and ambushing. It was what she had to do when she was on her own for all the times she was exiled from Inferni, and it was embedded deep within the natural instincts of her psyche. It was surprising to her that this fellow didn't seem to grasp what she was explaining, even after she stated that the doe wasn't going to be food. He still didn't understand what she was trying to say, and for a moment, Talitha didn't think then there was a way she could help him out with this.

There was a soft hmm that murmured in her throat, looking at the albino for a second longer. She was about to call it quits, because there was no other method she could possibly think of in order to have the albino go to Inferni with them (she doubt the lonely albino would willingly want to go with them anywayws), but suddenly if it was possible for a light bulb to appear and light up between her ears, there would be one as an idea struck her out of nowhere as a last resort. Her crimson eyes darted around them, surveying all the plants and the trees. Why didn't she think of this earlier? "I got it! If you're afraid of hurting the baby albino, how about we lure it with some berries? Or treats?" Talitha suggested, getting more and more excited by the minute. No hunting, no scaring, no wrangling down, just coaxing the albino with some food that it most likely might like due to the fact its mother was nowhere to be found. "We can find some, offer it, and I'm sure if we provide food, the baby could possibly trust us enough to be comfortable around us." Establishing some form of trust was important, but just how far and how much trust would be given? Well, they would have to find out first.

It would seem they shared the same mindset for the most part. Though it was set in different spectrums. Because Izaak couldn't imagine anyone not having grown up as he had. To him his life was normal. And so because of that he imagined that everyone had been just like him and had to learn all of these things that just came natural to others. So even though he was often ignored in Germany he was never really alone. His whole life he always had someone to watch over him and take care of him. There was always someone around to make sure that he was fed. Because of that he never had to learn for himself. Had never had anyone with the patience enough to teach him but instead just handed over food to eat. The boy really didn't have the attention span to be able to pick up on it so easily. Not when he found something else to draw his attention away or he couldn't keep his mouth shut long enough to catch anything.

Now that whole treat idea was a good one. One that Izaak could easily agree with. If only he knew just what the baby ate and where to find it. After all there were certain meats that Izaak liked and others that he didn't. He figured that the baby was the exact same way. That there were things that the baby would like and things that the baby wouldn't. But still giving baby something to eat meant that the baby wouldn't get hurt at all. That was really was what had been bothering him through all of the other suggestions. So a solution where there was no possible way for the baby to get hurt was the best way to go.

"What baby eats?" The question was asked as the child tilted his head in the direction of the older female. He had no idea where to even begin looking but she seemed to know just what it was that was needed. The coyote boy had never realized it took all this effort to get one single baby reindeer. He had somehow figured that it would just come with him. Not that it had to be tricked in some way, shape, or form. But the food idea was a really good idea. It would be the beginning formation of a bond. Something that Izaak would need if he were to keep the animal. If he were to keep it then he had to get used to feeding it and caring for it. But right now he was mostly excited for there having been a way come up with to try and get the baby. A way to convince it to come home with him so that he could show it to his Unky Cotl. Now all it took was finding the treats that the baby would like the best and getting it to eat of hand so that it could be lured back to Inferni, lured back to the mansion to be placed in bed as Izaak did with every new and interesting thing that he found and wanted to show off.

Talitha figured that he was really lucky for herself to be the one who happened upon him and was in her presence in the first place, for she would assume anyone else would have already lost their patience with him and either gave it up or went straight for the kill. Though half the time Talitha was mentally gone from this world or under the influence of something, she still had the heart deep down in herself to make a difference and to try and understand others. It was in her personal philosophy to look in the best of others instead of the worst, although most of the time that was easier said than done in her case and with the events that happened in her past. She was trying, though, putting forth her best effort not to be a screw up in the eyes of her father or in the eyes of Inferni anymore.

So, what did baby albinos typically like to eat? There was no way on exactly pinpointing its favorite treat, but from what Talitha knew by studying the patterns of how most caribou and elk moved, they were typical grazers of grass, plants, berries, any foliage material they could get their hooves on. "It would probably eat mostly grass and leaves, but I've got something else that might work better than those." She said, and tearing her crimson gaze away from the albino baby, she casted a glance back behind her shoulder. Upon trudging into the Eclipse, Talitha could have swore she seen a berry bush somewhere along her travels.

Figuring that berries would work better than any old pile of grass, Talitha knew the berry busy of which she seen wasn't too far away. "I've got just the thing. I'll be right back. You keep your eye on the baby." Not wanting to lose sight of the albino, it would do Talitha good if she was the one who scavenged for the berries and the boy to stay to watch his soon to be prized possession of a pet. While her strides were long and graceful, her conscious in the back of her mind was nearly laughing at her. Are you really serious right now? Helping this boy out to keep a freaking doe as a pet when instead it could be used for lamb chop? Her instinct gnawed at her stomach, adding to her conscious' protest on why she was helping to preserve the baby instead of butcher it.

Talitha almost passed by the berry bush if it wasn't for her peripheral vision catching sight of some appealing, red looking berries. She wasn't exactly sure what kinds of berries these were, but they would work. Plucking some off gingerly with her teeth (because she still was in Lupus form after all), there was enough gathered upon her tongue and stored in her cheek to where she retrieved them and then strode back over to the Cotl look alike. The berries didn't taste great, were quite bitter on her tongue, and so she let them go from inside her cheek in front of the coyote. It probably didn't look too appetizing to see her dumping out berries from her mouth, but it was the only way this was going to work without hurting the baby. "Berries, see? They don't taste too great to us, but I'm sure the baby will love them." Hopefully the baby won't mind they were covered in hybrid spit. "How about you take some, and try to head over to it to offer it as a treat?" Talitha suggested.

It took a lot of patience to deal with Izaak, something that most didn't have. The boy was a handful to say the least. The best ways to deal with him were things that were learned over a matter of time. Something that only constant experiences with him could teach. He wasn't by far the brightest but he was intelligent enough. He mostly lacked training and Talitha was privy to one reason as to why. He could be somewhat difficult to deal with. Things had to be made simple and spelled out for him to be able to understand it all. He was a very literal boy after all. If you didn't say exactly what you mean then he wouldn't end up understanding. It was just what made him who he is. Just another factor that caused other canines to lost patience with him quickly and easily. They just didn't have the time to take him by the hand and lead him through everything step by step. Most just didn't have the patience for all of that. So really, Talitha was doing remarkably well with the child.

"Buts mine eyes no come out to puts on baby." If it hadn't already been figured out before Izaak was quite literal. The young boy watched curiously as the female went to get whatever it was that she went to get. He tilted his head to the side as he watched her walk off then looked back to the baby reindeer. He had no idea why she wanted him to put an eyeball on the baby. It just didn't make any sense to him. But at least he wasn't addled enough to actually try to dig out an eye from his skull to try to put on the caribou calf. Instead he remained in his state of confusion, glancing between where the older female had gone and where the young animal was grazing. It was the best that he could do when he was as conflicted as he was.

He was more than glad when she finally returned. Maybe she would explain what she meant. Or maybe he didn't have to worry about trying to get an eye to put on the baby anymore. Either way it sounded like a good deal to him. The young child looked down to the berries that were dropped on the ground in front of him. He wasn't sure what he was supposed to do with those so it was lucky for him that Talitha explained her idea to him. "Baby eats this?" The question was posed as he knelt down in order to pick up a berry and look at it. He sniffed at the berry between his fingers before kneeling down to pick up more of the small, red fruit. He got enough to cover his palm then walked over to where the reindeer was nibbling on a bush.

He held out his palm towards the young animal and called out to it. "Look baby, berries." The reindeer lifted its head and started a bit. It pranced away a few steps before noticing the berries and then taking a few slow steps close to Izaak. "Eats baby." The coyote urged as the reindeer lipped at a berry and brought it into its mouth to sample. Izaak giggled as the baby took another berry, the action tickling the palm of his hand. He ended up glancing back at Talitha with a wide grin. "Baby do like."

This boy was... odd, to say the least. It was now that she also noticed there was a second tail tied to his tail, a detail she seemingly missed the first time around, and thought that was rather strange to see. Everyone had their own pace of experience with learning and doing things, so at least she felt somewhat good inside to being able to make a difference in somebody's life, whether the difference was insignificant and helping out someone catch a pet such as this albino reindeer. Actually, it made her feel really good in this moment. Her self-esteem was damaged, and her darker subconscious that was responsible for it would laugh at her efforts for helping out this boy and his white reindeer, but for once she was able to tune out that laughing and smile. Yes, Talitha Lykoi was doing good service for the benefit of Inferni, and couldn't wait to share the news with Gabriel once they traveled back to their territory (and have the boy share his new pet of a white reindeer to bring back).

It seemed like he was previously conflicted by what she meant, taking the statement of keeping his eye on the reindeer literally, but she was quick enough to return in order to not discover the boy gouging out an eyeball to place on the albino's head. Having placed the berries down, the boy was questionable about the berries as he sniffed it out for himself. Talitha only nodded silently, smiling lightly as the boy took her word for it and then proceeded to approach the baby albino to offer it some treats. Talitha lingered back where they were originally at, not wanting to scare the baby away due to the fact that she was in her lupus form, and maybe the sight of a four legged hybrid would startle the albino away. She watched from her distance as the albino was rather curious of what the boy held out to it, and it instantly began grazing away at the berries from his hand.

Talitha's grin broadened (she couldn't believe she was actually smiling at something like this) when the boy expressed the albino was very accepting of the berries he offered. "I can see that, that's great!" Talitha expressed, still keeping herself half hidden in the foliage. "Give it some more to eat there. Then, we'll have to make it follow us back to Inferni if it wants more berries to eat." Maybe coaxing the albino to come back with them with berries would be the best plan, or if the boy could pick it up in his arms (and the albino would allow him to do so), or if Talitha would be able to carry it, either way would work. It might be best for her to shift into Optime at this point, but kept watching to see how comfortable the albino was willing to get with the boy.

Yes, he was odd. It was the common census of all those that he had met. But who was actually normal? Could anyone even be classified as normal? Everyone was different and had their own special quirks. Izaak's just seemed to be a bit more outrageous than others. But it wasn't like he was raised in the same fashion as others either. Or at least it was doubtful that he had been. Who else's mother would treat them in such a fashion? There were also a few abnormal conditions that ran in his family as well. So all of that combined is what made Izaak who he was. That strange little kid that you weren't sure if you should like or you should hate. After all he could prove to be annoying but there was something cute about his naivety.

The child was excited over the simple fact that the animal he had been chasing was now eating out of his hand. The excitement lit up his whole face and caused his tail to wag. It was such a small thing but it caused him great joy. Plus the deer eating out of his hand tickled his palm. Without thinking about it he reached out with his other hand to gently rub the baby reindeer's head. "Good baby." The words were spoken with a smile. The calf was too busy eating to notice that it was being touched. Instead it was focused on devouring every last little berry upon the boy's palm.

He waited until the baby had finish off what was in his hand before moving away to get another handful as Talitha had instructed him to do. The baby wasn't willing to wait that long and followed after Izaak. The baby albino reindeer nudged past Izaak and bent its head down to pick up the remaining berries from the ground. Izaak laughed and shook his head. "No baby, I gots right here." He held his hand down and open for the reindeer to see. The baby finished what was on the ground before looking to Izaak's hand and starting to eat from there again.

Despite how odd the boy was, for Talitha it was the beginnings of an establishment with Inferni's members for the first time. She never really had the opportunity in the past to form good bonds with other members besides her family, and it was a new step in a direction to start becoming more aware and more optimistic of matters. Her past threatened to keep her to herself and to even keep her away from Inferni, but in this relationship before her, there was something growing, even if it started out insignificant and small. She didn't believe she would establish good grounds with someone over trying to lure a baby albino reindeer home. She thought sharing a hunt and a dinner would suffice more, but then again, this was one of those one in a lifetime encounters that were interesting enough to always remember, and make a close connection with.

Of course, she didn't feel like they would be the best of buddies after this whole ordeal, her and the boy, but it was certainly a start, and something the both of them would always remember for the rest of their lives. Talitha remained in the backdrop, continuing to watch the boy as there was a relationship among himself and the baby beginning to be established. She might as well begin getting used to seeing a white reindeer bucking around Inferni, because she had a feeling the reindeer would probably be around for quite sometime. She also wondered how long it would last before another member attempted to butcher it for themselves, but right now that was besides the fact of what was happening. It was strangely beautiful, in her eyes, to see a relationship blossoming before the boy and the reindeer.

Talitha smiled even more when the boy's face was completely lit in content for the baby being so docile with him. Taking note of how the reindeer didn't flinch or become spooked when the boy stroked the top of the baby's head, that was a good indicator that perhaps the reindeer enjoyed his company. That meant it would probably be a whole lot easier if they started to head back to Inferni with the reindeer. "Hey, how about we get a move on and bring it back, yeah? I think we should be good now to take it with us." Talitha suggested from her spot, still remaining concealed.

OOC here: Table & Coding © Jacoby; It's fine, I understand things come up. And okay, doesn't matter who to me. Was just figuring that since they were about to be on their way to Inferni it would be good ot bring it to a close like after they leave the area. Of course another can come later if Talitha wants to see Blitzen again; 367 words

Oh yes, who wouldn't remember an encounter with someone as strange as Izaak? Who would forget about a child wearing two tails? It seemed like such an impossibility. Izaak just seemed to leave a lasting impression no matter where he went. He was just that odd that everyone else was sure to remember him. It could be from the way he appeared to the way he acted and on down to the questions that he asked. There was so much that he didn't understand that he wasn't at all against asking questions that appeared to be strange to others. Oh, and the way he referred to everything as being a coyote was sure to capture attention as well.

And now he would be remembered for his baby. Or at least Talitha will remember him for his baby if not anyone else. At least Talitha will remember the capture of and the luring the baby to Inferni. What would happen from that point on was still up in the air. But with the way that Izaak was delightedly interacting with the reindeer he most likely wouldn't forget about it as quickly as he did other things, if he ever would forget about the albino at all.

With the words that were casually given in his direction the coyote child glanced over his shoulder to where the female was. He gave a nod of his head, both in agreement and acknowledgment that he had heard her speak. He then looked back to the animal that was once again sampling from his palm once again. "Time go home baby." He spoke the words to the reindeer before starting to walk away. His steps were slow and awkward because he was trying to let the reindeer eat still while he was also trying to walk in the direction of Inferni. With the promise of food right before it the reindeer took the steps to follow after Izaak. The prey animal had its neck stretched out to try and grab the berries from the coyote's hand but with each step Izaak took it had to take one too in order to get back into the distance to be able to eat more.

This'll be the last post from me. You could either close it out or archive it, either way. Thanks for the thread, I had a blast! (and can't wait to see the reindeer prancing around Inferni!) Big Grin 3+ Table by Lou!

Indeed, this would be an unforgettable moment both shared with the boy and with pursuing the albino reindeer to follow him back to the skull lined borders of Inferni. It would only be with pure time and patience to see how long the albino reindeer would linger around as the boy's pet, if it would become permanent or temporary. Also, to see how well molded the albino would be able to fit in with Inferni itself. At least Talitha could take some credit to say she helped the boy convince the baby reindeer to come home with them, and could only imagine all the antics that would come with it. The hybrid certainly had a feeling this definitely wouldn't be the last she would see of the boy and now his reindeer, and would most certainly see the both of them frequently around Inferni. The boy and the reindeer, both of them stuck out as an obvious thumb among the rest.

"Alright, lets go." Talitha finally confirmed, having confidence that the boy shouldn't have any problem at this point with luring the baby back home with them. Hearing that it was a good time from the boy to depart from the area, she was pleased to see that the reindeer was still focused upon what was in the boy's hand and was still interested. She moved forward slowly, perhaps even keeping herself concealed a little longer so her four legged figure wouldn't startle the reindeer right away and ruin the boy's hard work of capturing its trust. Talitha made sure to keep a certain amount of pace ahead, deciding to transform into Optime form later on when the three of them approached the skull lined borders in the future.

One thing that Talitha noticed toward the end of this little adventure, was that the two of them didn't exchange names with each other verbally. Did it matter at this point? Who knew. With an unforgettable class act like the boy was, she could easily remember him later on even without a name (who could forget someone who wore a second tail anyways?) Introductions for them were overrated in this moment, for their focus was solely upon luring the reindeer and perhaps teamwork too. It gave her a deep sense of accomplishment that made her day a little more upbeat, more upbeat than the high that whiskey could ever give her. This felt good, and she simply couldn't wait to get back to Inferni to share the news with the boy upon their accomplishment of bringing back a reindeer without having to hunt it.

OOC here: Table & Coding © Jacoby; Okay, thank for helping out. I'll get it archived after this; 398 words

Izaak had forgotten all about introductions. Actually, not really. He was used to others coming and going without ever knowing their names. But they had all come to see his mother and not him so he never had to know a name. It wasn't as if they were there everyday. Some only came once and was never seen again. So the thought of getting a name wasn't a big concern for him. She hadn't asked and so he hadn't bothered with such things either. Besides, they both lived in the same place so they most likely would see each other again. They could always exchange names at a later date should they run into each other again. Or it could be learned of when talking to others. After all Talitha knew his uncle and certainly Cotl must complain about him at some point given all of their differences.

He somehow managed to get the reindeer back to Inferni, the calf following for food. Though Izaak had ran out of food somewhere between the Eclipse and Inferni. Still the baby followed in hopes that there would be more food. Also it helped that they had left the forest where the reindeer could easily pick berries from another bush instead of following still. Though as they came close to Inferni and the scents, or perhaps just the knowledge that Izaak wasn't about to pull out any more berries any time soon, the reindeer spooked and looked as if it was about to run off. This caused Izaak to kneel down and wrap his arms around the baby and hug it, petting its head with a hand. "Fast zu Hause, Baby. Nur ein wenig weiter." The whispered words were spoken next to the animal's ear. Without really thinking about it Izaak had resorted back to German.

As he stood he lifted the animal into his arms to carry it the rest of the way to Inferni. At the borders he tried to shift the reindeer as much as possible to give a parting wave to Talitha before heading to the mansion. "Lassen Sie uns ins Bett gehen." Izaak headed straight for the mansion and carried the baby inside with him. When he finally put down the reindeer it was in his Unky Cotl's bed and even took the time to tuck it in before laying next to it and holding it.
