Izaak was just out wandering about as he tended to do. So really it wasn't that strange to find him walking about with no real destination in mind. Actually that is what he always did. He was just a hapless wanderer. But that worked well enough for him. After all he had found Blitzen that way. He hadn't gone out looking for him but had just found him while he was wandering around and ended up coaxing him on home with him. And now he had the reindeer following him around as he walked about Inferni. He hadn't explored all of it yet. But it wasn't like he explored all of any of the lands yet. But he'd been a few places and met a few faces. Actually he hadn't even met everyone in Inferni yet either. But again he hadn't been actively seeking that one out either. Actually there was rarely anything that he did with a certain purpose to it. But that could be because he often couldn't focus on one thing to see it through to the end. His attention just didn't last that long.

With Blitzen at his side he eventually made his way to where fog rose up over the water. Well now, that was certainly a strange sight. He tilted his head as he made his way over to the water. "Was denkst du, dass ist, Blitzen?" He had made it a habit to talk to his pet more than himself now. At least that made him seem a light bit more sane than previously. At least he visibly had someone with him to speak to whereas before he was all by himself and carrying on a conversation. "Haben Sie gesehen, so etwas vor?" Again he was speaking to the reindeer. Whatever answer he may have been hoping for certainly wasn't about to come.

The child stepped right on over to the water and dipped a toe inside. "Es ist wirklich heiß." The comment was made but it didn't stop him from splashing right on in. "Komm Blitzen. Es fühlt sich gut." He called out the words to the reindeer when he realized it was just standing on the shore still. He reached to splash water up on the reindeer which caused Blitzen to back away.

Hey there Izaak! Hope you don't mind the jackal dropping by for some fun. WC: 332 {3 points}

Sepirah was not one for the chill and it was times like these that she still wished she was back home in Egypt. At least there it was normally warm all the time and she wouldn’t have to put up with the cold during the winter. Sepirah trailed along in her lupus form, as was her preferred form unless she was training, and felt the breeze through her fur. She wanted to race back home and wrap her blanket around her body, but she needed to get out and meet some more members of the pack. There were only a few handful of coyotes she actually knew so it was best to wander around and see if she bumped into anyone.

Sepirah continued through the cold until she couldn’t take it anymore. She had to find some place where she could wait and warm up before she made her way along again. Her traveling brought her to the Grotto dei Avernus. The dark princess had to admit that she never actually explored this area of Inferni and was a bit curious to the mystery that it held. The fog was a bit thick, but not enough to keep the jackal’s vision from showing her the way. Her ears remained up and her reflexes ready. This would be the prefect place for an ambush if there were enemies around, and being a warrior in training, she wasn’t going to take any chances.

Finally Sepirah stopped as she heard a voice in the distance. She closed her eyes and listened for the source. She followed the voice until she came to the one who started it. It was the little coyote she remembered from the pack meeting, the one that ran up to her grandmother and hugged. The dark princess couldn’t of helped but snickered as she remembered that moment. With a few more small steps, the jackal was in his presence and sitting on the shore. ”Hello there. Mind if I join you?”

Izaak had come from Germany so he was used to cold winters and snow. So the chill to the air didn't really bother him too much. And of course Blitzen wasn't fussed either because reindeer were able to withstand arctic temperatures. Actually their hooves hardened in order to deal with frozen ground. So the boys had nothing at all to worry about. Both were able to adapt to the colder weather easily enough. And with the way that Izaak ran around and burned up energy he often couldn't feel the cold at all because of how active he was. And with Izaak being active Blitzen was as well since he was always trailing after the coyote child.

Despite the rank that he had the boy had done nothing at all to earn it. It didn't even matter to him because he didn't work on the skill set that accompanied it. The only time that he was violent was during his blackouts. Otherwise he was a cheerful and happy little guy. But that was because he had no idea about the awful things that he had done. Actually there were a lot of things that he didn't know. All those little things that everyone else took for granted were among the things that Izaak knew nothing about. The basics of life were lost on him.

Blitzen moved from his spot and trotted around to a different park of the shore. It was hard to tell if he was just separating himself from the predator that had arrived or to get away from Izaak's splashing. After all the animal tended to stick close to Izaak when in the presence of others, keeping the coyote between himself and all others. And it was quite clear that he wasn't enjoying being splashed because he kept on shaking his head and body to rid it of the water. But Izaak didn't seem to understand this since he had kept on splashing water on his companion with a fit of giggles.

At least until he had noticed the female that had approached. Never having a real interaction with her he didn't recognize her in the slightest. "Hallo. Ich weiß nicht Geist." He replied with a shake of his head. As always he started out with German until he was told that the other couldn't understand him or that they were unable to speak the language. After all his English wasn't the best since grammar rules didn't apply to him. And well, he had an accent so that made it worse and harder to understand. It didn't stop him from trying though, at least on all the occasions that he had to try to speak English. And it wasn't like his mistakes were corrected for him to know any better anyways. Instead he just made the best with what he did know. He could at least carry on a conversation for the most part. That had to count for something at least. It wasn't like there was an impenetrable language barrier there.

Sepirah was so glad to see that she could join her fellow pack mate in some relaxation. She dipped her front paw in the water and almost jumped from the heat of the water. This was perfect. The dark princess closed her eyes and began to shift into her optime form. Her bones cracked as her body grew taller, but not by much. Being a jackal, she was naturally shorter than most of the members of the pack. Her hair grew out and the jackal stood on her back feet. She took the hair band she wore on her arm and tied her hair up before turning back to the pool. She slowly made her way in and swam around a bit. She felt just like a pup again and swam to the male’s side. A smiled crossed her face as she sat in the water.

Her attention turned to her guest and the way he addressed her in particular. She was not able to understand what he said besides the greeting considering it sounded like ‘hello’. She leaned her head back a bit, but kept her golden gaze on the coyote. ”I’m sorry but I wasn’t able to understand what you said. What language are you speaking?” She moved her head back up and felt her tail wagging under the water. She was so happy to be warmed up as well as spending some time with her pack mate.

Sepirah looked over the coyote a bit more into detail. He bore a golden hue with gray all along his back. He didn’t look to bad and she then watched him splashing in the water, but more towards what he was splashing at. It was a white reindeer who kept trying to dodge the splashes. The dark princess watched and folded her ears down. ”I don’t think he likes it when you do that.”

Izaak was having fun with his little game. But then again he always found ways to entertain himself and keep himself amused. So why not splash about? Why not have some fun? Nothing was really expected of him anyways. Or at least no one had said to him that anything was expected of him. He wasn't asked to perform the duties of his rank. Heck, not like he could even if he was asked. So no, he just enjoyed himself with no sort of worries at all. Why should he? Life was about having fun anyways, wasn't it? Or at least that is the way that he saw it. What was the point of living if you couldn't enjoy yourself?

"German." He answered with a glance towards the female. He had paused in his splashing in order to focus on the other and answer her. "I says I noes mines." He translated what he had said the best that he could. English wasn't exactly his strong suit but he tried. Grammar and pronunciation was lost on him since he simply had trouble wrapping his tongue around some words because of his accent. He tried to make himself as understandable as he could though. But at least he could speak and understand English even if he didn't do the very best job of expressing himself in words.

Her next statement had him looking back to his caribou companion. "Blitzen plays." He said and splashed the reindeer again. The animal again shook off the water and sidled away a few steps but still he stuck close to the water's edge, stuck close to Izaak. Anyone else would have probably run away but not this animal. Instead he just bent his head down in order to nibble at the grass. After all Izaak was easily distracted. It had shown when the female had questioned him. He had only remembered Blitzen again because she had pointed out the reindeer.

Sepirah continued to swim around for a little longer before she moved back towards the shore to where she could sit in the water but have most of her body still in the water and escaping from the cold. Her hair and fur was soaked from head to toe but she didn’t really care much. She could feel the cool breeze against her head so she dipped the lower part of her head back into the water. She began to make some bubbles with her mouth and smirked under water. It seemed the male was having some fun of his own. She waited to let him have his fun before she made another move.

Sepirah was instantly interested in the language he spoke of. German sounded very interesting and the accent was nice as well. As much as she wanted to learn about this language, she didn’t want to burden the male with teaching her how to speak it. He seemed about her age so she didn’t want to ruin his fun. Perhaps there was someone else I the pack who could teach her how to speak it. Seeing as this male was still young, surely he had family who lived here, so surely there was another pack wizard who would be willing to become her german teacher, that is if she continued to persue in learning the language. At this point it was just an idea. It was not set in stone.

Sepirah watched the boy go back to playing with his companion and she went back to swimming around. She then paused and realized that she didn’t even know the male’s name. She moved back over to him and smiled. ”You never did tell me your name. Mine is Sepirah Lykoi.” Her white hair floated on the surface of the water as she waited for the coyote to say his name to her.

Perhaps physically they were near in age but who could say about mentally. After all they had been raised under different circumstances and in entirely different manners. There was no doubt that she was much more mature than he was. After all he was laughing and splashing about while she was more calm. He also spoke in a simple fashion. But perhaps that was just because he had to translate. After all he spoke better in German, actually using complete and correct sentences. He faltered in English though. But then again English was a second language for him so he really shouldn't be expected to be as adept at it.

The boy seemed lost in his own world, forgetting about the female when she wasn't speaking. But that was just the way that he was. He easily lost himself in his own amusement and would forget about the world around him. He would lose himself into his own things. He had quite the short attention span. Things of interest prompted him to forget about whatever he had been doing previously. Actually it was lucky that he hadn't lost interest in Blitzen and forgotten all about him. Though that could be because the animal moved and so that was enough to distract him from other things and attract his attention. Other things that he collected went forgotten about. All except for the tail that he had gotten from his brother. That one remained tied to his own tail at almost all times and was a cherished possession.

When Blitzen stepped away from the water, moving entirely out of splash range, it was obvious that he tired of the game. This prompted Izaak to start to climb out of the water. "Wohin gehst du?" He called out after the reindeer. The child had always used German whenever he spoke to the albino caribou. Whether what he said was actually understood or not was still debatable but Blitzen acted appropriately most times. But then it could only be prompted by Izaak's actions and tone as well. Still, he paused in following Blitzen to look back at the female as it was mentioned that his name had never been mentioned. "Yous noes asks." But then again he had never asked for hers either. But he was simply used to others coming and going all the time and never knowing their names. "Izaak." He gave his name and pointed to himself. He then pointed towards his companion to introduce him as well. "Blitzen."

With introductions over the boy pulled himself out of the water to see where Blitzen was going. "Warte auf mich!" He called out after the animal and took off running after the slow moving creature. It was quite possible that Blitzen had only gotten tired of standing around in one place and was just moving around to graze but with Izaak now out of the water and walking around the animal started to follow after the coyote. Or well they were actually walking side by side to who knew where, neither actually leading but both just walking.

This was fun even if it was short. WC: 322 {3 points}

Sepirah watched as the male was having his fun. She admired his relaxed mood and wished she could go back to the good old days, but she knew that was not possible. The dark princess was a warrior now and becoming a more useful member of the pack. She wanted to prove to the leaders what she could do and therefore her life had become more serious. The jackal closed her eyes and tried to imagine herself relaxing with her leaders. She never took the time to get to know her uncle more and she really wanted to. The male was handsome and she wished to learn more about him. Perhaps she could bring up the idea the net time she saw him.

When Sepirah snapped back to her senses she noticed that her company and his pet was leaving. She wanted to chase after them, but she figured it would be ok to let them go on their own. The dark princess wanted to stay here and relax for a bit longer before she went on her way. She would have to bring someone else here sometime and let them relax with her. Perhaps she would find a nice male to spend some special time with. The jackal gave a small yawn before she began to shift into her lupus form while in the water. She wanted to keep in the heat for as long as she could. She felt herself drag herself out of the water and race along home.

Sepirah continued along and began to head for home, but because her fur was wet, the colder air was getting to her. She ran as fast as she could and jumped into her cave. She took the blanket and wrapped it around herself. The dark princess took shelter in the back of the cave and tried to fall asleep. She dreamed of her days back in the warmth of Egypt.
