OOC here: Sorry, it's been unusually cold where I am at (enough to actually get snow) and I'm anemic so I can't keep body heat so I've been freezing lately and unable to feel my fingers and toes; 522 words

Izaak had wandered away from Inferni again. He headed in a direction that he had never traveled before. And why? Because of the snow that covered the ground. He found himself making leaping steps so that he would sink in more with each step that was taken. The cold that seeped in between his toes had him grinning and giggling. Even though he was among the adult ranks he still acted much like a child. But what was there for him to do when he lacked a skill set? It was amazing that he had even survived this long. But that was only because he always had someone around to care for him and watch over him. Always someone to bring him food since he couldn't hunt. But now he was living on his own. Well, not entirely since he was still near the mansion where the rest of his family lived. Even so he had been banished from the big house and forced to live in the guard house all by himself. There had even been occasions when his Unky Cotl would lock the gate so that he couldn't get to the mansion and invade it.

As he enjoyed himself he began to sing. "Es schneit! Es schneit! Kommt alle aus dem Haus! Die Welt, die Welt Sieht wie gepudert aus." It was a song that one of his mother's many visitors had taught him. He rather liked that guy since he didn't mind getting down and playing with Izaak and his siblings. Since he visited often it was from him that Izaak had learned to speak both German and English. Of course one day he had just stopped showing up. Izaak had never questioned the reason behind that though. He knew better than to ask his mother.

The coyote boy glanced over at the reindeer that pranced along at his side. He bent down some snow in his hands and tossed it on the already white creature and laughed. "Es schneit! Es schneit! Das müßt ihr einfach sehn! Kommt mit! Kommt mit! Wir wollen rodeln gehn." He sang the words as loud as he could as he ran forward, laughing at Blitzen leaping through the snow in order to keep up. But then again Izaak was easily amused and it didn't take much to entertain him. But that was just a part of who he was.

Before he knew it he found his way through a forest and to an opening in the mountain. He remembered something like this in Inferni. Was there some way that he had found his way back there even though he remembered walking past the skull lined borders of the clan? Still he couldn't help calling out into the cave as he sang still. "Aus grau wird weiß, aus laut wird leis' die Welt wird zugedeckt und von der Frühlingssonne wird sie wieder aufgeweckt." He called out the words into the cave as he stepped inside and glanced around. Blitzen didn't seem as ease as Izaak did for he stuck close to the coyote boy and remained alert while Izaak had his bit of fun.

The young man had not slept the night before after he had left Nyx on the mountain side. Although he had returned to his den he had lain awake for what seemed like ages, staring at the ceiling. Once that had failed to bore him into sleep he had taken out his bow and quiver full of arrows to inspect them. He only had five arrows left, but his last encounter with another lone wolf had made sure that he had plenty of arrow heads. In the bottom of the quiver lay at least twenty arrowheads, stolen from his last opponant from over the mountain. It had occured to the black male, in the early hours of that morning, that he should do something with them. Something as in attatch them to some wood and find some feathers to make the flights with.

He had escaped the cold confines of the cave system very early that morning before the sun had properly arisen. The small forest in Anathema's borders was, quite obviously, the perfect place to look for long sturdy branches to make his arrows from. It took him most of the morning to find what he was looking for, and he spent a while cutting down as many sticks as he could find. They were all sturdy but felxible, easy to obtain but not so easy to turn into proper arrows. He knew they had to be of a certain calibre to be turned into arrows and he collected twice as many sticks as was necessary, making sure he had enough for rejects.

The inside of his den had warmed up no less when he'd returned but the young man had set about his work with gusto. Maybe he would be able to sleep tonight if he tired himself out making arrows. It was easy once you understood how arrows work- stripping down the wood and making it smooth and straight. Attaching the arrow heads with a slit in the wood and a tie around the base of the arrowhead and the stick of wood. Once they were securely on he set them aside- he had found no feathers for his flights. Ears however had heard something unfamiliar and his confusion was clear on his face.

He exited his den quietly, stupidly leaving his weapons behind. He hadnt thought about bringing them, even though he almost always had a dagger of some kind on him at all times. Nose caught the intruder before blue eyes found the creature. A low growl came forward just as his sight was given to him. A small coyote and a small white deer thing. Whilst confusion was first on his list, Teddy knew this was no member of Anathema. So what the hell was he doing in their caves.

”Who the fuck are you and what the fuck are you doing in my lands?”

His words were very low and deep, but dangerous none the less. Padding forward in his secui form Teddy allowed his fangs to reveal themselves while a growl rumbled in his chest. This idiot was going to leave with a few cuts and bruises today- that was for sure.

OOC here: Was going to wait for Scorpius but with Nuki sick Imma go ahead and post cause Zak needs to die off around the beginning of next year. So get this over with quick?; 326 words

"Nur suchen." He responded, turning to look at the other that had come up. "Was machst du?" He formed his own question in return. He had no idea that the land was claimed. He didn't know how to tell scent marks or any of that. For all he knew he could be back in Inferni because there were caves there as well. He didn't understand that he was trespassing because a visual border hadn't been marked out for him. Because of that he failed to realize that he was in the wrong.

Blitzen sensed the aggression of the wolf and eased himself away from the situation. He reached to nudge his head against Izaak's arm before bolting. Though he followed the coyote youth around willingly the flight instinct was still present in the face of danger. And well that is exactly what he was getting from this situation. The reindeer disappeared through the trees, thinking Izaak would chase after him like usual.

But the coyote didn't. He stayed in place, figuring that Blitzen was going to hide and so giving him time to do so before going to find him. After all it was a game that had been played before. "Sie wollen zu spielen?" He asked the other, not seeing the danger in the situation as his companion had. No, the displayed aggression only had him dipping his head down meekly and glancing shyly up at the other male as he waited for an answer to his question. It was how he dealt with his mother when she was upset. He made himself look pitiful and hoped that it would work. Sometimes it would, usually when the offer to play was added on. Of course most times it didn't and so he had to be ready to run. Though Zak was cornered and didn't really have anywhere to run except into the cave and it was too dark for Izaak to want to try that.

ooc;; well nuki can jump in whenever!

Blue eyes blazed with a fury as the little creature in front of him attempted to answer him. Of course, Teddy did not speak German and therefore he had no idea what the coyote said. A deep breath was taken and the scent of Inferni was immediately identified. So their neighbors had decided to pay them a visit at last. And they had chosen to ignore common protocol of waiting at the borders. Maybe Teddy should go an infiltrate their lands and see if they liked it. A low growl came forward at the thought of Inferni wishing to spy on Anathema. They had no right to do so. Glancing back towards the coyote as it spoke again in the same gibberish as before.

”I suggest you start speaking my language, boy, else you'll find yourself unable to speak at all.”

Teddy was careful to make sure he pronounced each word correctly and clearly so there would be no mistake when he attacked him that he had meant to do so. Blue eyes were drawn to the white creature standing beside to coyote. It attempted to nudge the boy before bolting towards the exit of the cave. Smart move. Now that his companion was gone, the coyote appeared to sink lower, his ears flitting back and his tail tucking under his body. Submission, but it was too little too late. A look of disgust crossed the mans features as he prowled forward, teeth flashing as he growled at the creature.

”You dont appear to be leaving. Are you stupid?”

Teddy asked before allowing his anger to take over him. As he reached the coyote he allowed his jaws to snap forward to try and catch the little creatures left ear. Hopefully he would drag the pathetic creature from the cave and make a spectical of him before beating him into a bloody pulp. He was rather enjoying this right now.

OOC here: Yeah, don't even mind if she is unable to post and just later on says Scorpius was hiding in the bushes the whole time and watching; 309 words

Hardly anyone around in this area seemed to speak German but he still hadn't stopped trying. Who knew, he might eventually run into someone that knew the language. Couldn't know unless you tried and so he continued to try. At least Blitzen seemed to understand him. Or so it seemed. Of course he could easily be wrong about that little tidbit as well. It could just be the tone rather than the words that was recognized and listened to.

"Was yous language?" He questioned the other. He wasn't sure exactly was being talked about. Others told him to just speak English. But this male didn't. Was there some other language that he was meant to speak then? He didn't know anything past German and English. Though his English wasn't that well defined as could already be witnessed. He knew enough to understand and speak it but he just didn't do a fine job of it.

"Mutter say so." Not that he understand what she had meant by it and so he grinned as that quality had been picked up on. But that grin quickly disappeared as he was bitten. The other had seized hold on his ear and had dragged him out. "Oww! Hurt!" He cried out but didn't put up a fight. He knew better than to do that. If he got caught by his mother in one of her moods then struggling only made it worse. He knew to just wait it out and it wouldn't be as bad as if he tried to fight her off. He simply figured that it would apply in this situation as well. That this other male would grow tired if there wasn't a struggle and go off to do something else more quickly. He often applied the tactics that he learned to cope with his mother to cope with others.

ooc;; <33 I feel really sorry for Izaak now!

There was a soft mutter from the little coyote but Teddy's jaws were almost half the way towards his ear before the warrior heard it. It sounded English, so perhaps when forced he could speak in another language. Still, there was nothing he could do about it now as he jaws closed around the coyote's left ear. There was a squeel of pain and Teddy distinctly heard the word 'hurt' before he dragged the coyote from the dens and into the light. He was small, even for a coyote. He didnt appear to know a lot about cleanliness or hygiene and he looked unkempt and dirt. Maybe there was something wrong with his head.

Giving his new rag doll a shake Teddy growled softly. However, there seemed to fight in the young man and Teddy released the weak lump as he hung in his jaws. Its ear was ripped, the base coming away from his head but not properly off. Teddy was tempted to snap off his whole ear but decided against it. Teeth were dripping with the coyote's blood as he rounded on him again. Now they were outside he would give the intruder one more chance to leave on his own before he ripped his ear off and dragged him all about Anathema.

”Now, I'm going to assume you understand me, as you spoke my language. If you do not leave my lands right now, I will tear your ear from your head and drag you about the mountains until you cannot speak. Am I making myself clear?”

His voice was low as he padded forward, hackles raised straight in the air. Blue eyes blazed with the fury that he never truely let go of. This little punk was really beginning to annoy him and he really ought to leave.

OOC here: It's okay, I was thinking the dead body could be dropped off outside of Anathema so Sas can come and get his tail back since Zak is wearing it.; 308 words

Once he was dropped all he could do was curl up on the ground and cry. His hand reached up to touch his tattered ear. "Oww, oww, oww." Touching it had hurt a great deal and so he dropped his hand away. Tears slipped from his eyes as he folded his knees up to his chest. It was the same that he would do when he had been caught by his mother. Granted he wasn't usually the one to receive her aggressive attention so he didn't really know how to deal. He wasn't used to coping with someone upset with him enough to want to harm him. Rather everyone had shown him pity.

He quickly shook his head but the flapping of the ear only made it hurt more and had him crying harder. "No! Hurts!" From what he had spoken so far it seemed he had a limited grasp on English. Though that could be said to be true. There were expressions that he didn't understand because he took things literally. And well, grammar as well as a few pronunciations were lost upon him.

"Inferni has." He whimpered out the words. He was trying to explain himself but failing. He had only experienced this once before with another in Inferni. The more he tried to explain what he was doing the more trouble he ended up getting into. This felt like that all over again. That what he was trying to say wasn't being understood and the pain made it hard for him to think of the right words to use. All he could concentrate on was the throbbing pain. Did his brother feel this when Sascha gave him his tail? If so then he would really have to thank Sascha for the gift that he already cherished so much. But this made him cherish it more.

ooc;; -cries- awwwh i dont know if i can do this anymore! the poor little guy -snuggles izaak-

Though almost all of Teddy's childhood had been spent in the training rink, Charles Stone had sat down with his children on more than one occasion to explain the rules of the game to his boys. This game was the Warrior's Code and after their first lesson on the subject the old warrior had quizzed his sons constantly on the Code until they could recite it in their sleep. It spoke of honor and justice and the need to remain objective in their fighting. They were not to run around attacking everyone because they had the skills to do it. And they most certainly should not harm a creature that was weaponless. This pitiful creature was most certainly weaponless and pathetic. Blue eyes flashed as the coyote lay on the floor, unwilling to touch his torn ear but trying to protect it anyway.

The coyote whimpered and whined, Teddy could hear the word 'ow' alot from the boys lips. However the young warrior was taken aback when the coyote began to cry. Big clear tears ran down his muzzle and into the snow. Pity and disgust rose in him simultaneously- Teddy was told never to cry. And he had stuck by this, for the young warrior had never cried since he was old enough to know about consequences. However, the Code rose up before him and he almost winced against his fathers coming blow. It took him a moment to realise that his father was not there. However, the coyote was defenseless and weak and unarmed. He should not be attacking him. On the other hand, the coyote had intruded on Anathema land, and when asked to leave he had stared at Teddy like he had no idea what he was saying.

However, the next two words resolved Teddy's conflicted mind. Although he was often described, by himself, as a cold blooded killer, there was certainly a difference between this and a warrior. Teddy had been raised to be a warrior and not a killer. It was the warrior side to him that had seriously considered dragging the coyote over Anathema's borders and simply leaving him there, no more harmed than he was now. However, the word 'Inferni' brough forth the mental and physical snarls and Teddy was once again in the coyote's face. He reached forward and tugged at the coyote's ripped ear, hearing it tear once more.

”So Inferni sent you to spy on us did they? What a nice little welcome...”

Teddy snarled before gripping the coyote's arm and allowing his claws to sink into the matted fur and skin. If he had felt pity for the coyote before he felt only fury now. Crouching down in front of the intruder Teddy allowed his teeth to slowly come forward and close over the muzzle of the coyote. He sunk his teeth into the boys nose, closing his powerful jaws till Teddy could feel the coyote's small teeth against his own. Tugging once with his mouth, blue eyes remained cast away from the boys.

OOC here: I know, everyone pities him cause he is stupid; 302 words

He cried harder as his ear was tugged on again and eventually ripped off. His fingers reached up to the bloody mess of a spot where his ear used to be. It was gone. Where had it gone? He glanced around with tear filled eyes for the missing body part. He didn't dare move though and so when he didn't see it in the immediate radius he gave up looking for it. He didn't want to move too much or risk attracting further punishment than he had already received.

And his explanation had ended up going all wrong again. "No. Dis Inferni. Inferni cave." He didn't know there to be caves in any other place so he had to have made it back to Inferni somehow. The wind through it even made the noise like it did in Inferni so he had to be back home. It was the only way that it made sense to him. Maybe this was the guy hiding in the cave that he had thought that he had before.

But no sooner had the words left his mouth did he found himself unable to speak. Jaws had settled over his own and forced his mouth to remain shut. He gave a slight struggle as he panicked but that quickly subsided as he found it to be a painful decision. He couldn't open his mouth so he couldn't pant for breath. All he was getting through his nose was the other's breath but that wasn't enough at all. Not as his mind panicked and told him he had to breath except he couldn't come up with a solution to do so. After another short struggle where he tried to open his mouth he went limp and still again, eyes having closed themselves as teas continued to leak out.

Is Scorpius still coming? I could NPC him in one of my posts if Nuki can’t get in to post soon enough, since you want Zak gone ASAP. One more post from each of you and then we're done? wc: 623

She had been trying to take a nap when she had heard the first growl. Naniko had dismissed this sound at first, assuming that it was two pack members having some sort of a dispute. As long as no one was dead, she wasn’t really concerned with scuffles or disagreements between members. Naniko had bigger and better things to do with her time. If they felt that the matter was really pressing then she supposed that she could take some time and listen to their concerns, but if it was a petty matter then she would probably be pretty annoyed that they hadn’t solved it themselves. Certain things wouldn’t be tolerated, though, of course. She still needed to think of some kind of a punishment for wolves who disobeyed her or broken pack law but who hadn’t done anything quite bad enough to get kicked out of the pack. She wasn’t sure about the idea of ever kicking someone out of the pack…just punishing them for what they had done. Give them an eye for an eye, perhaps.

Some more shouting and growling was enough to rouse her. The large white female was in her optime form and used her hands to rub her eyes, giving a long yawn and a stretch before she headed out the door of her den. Her den was closest to the entrance of the caves, thus she had been able to hear some of what was going on between the two canines outside. Naniko grabbed her weapons-belt as she walked out, putting it around her waist and strapping it there securely. She had three daggers total, two short ones that were tipped in poison and one longer one for a more combat-like situation. It would all depend on whether she felt that the thread should be injured or whether it would be easier to simply kill whoever or whatever it was. With prey, she would have to use the longer one; the poison on the shorter ones wouldn’t be good to put into meat that she was planning on consuming.

Naniko approached the pair and immediately saw the problem; the foreign canine smelled horrible to her, their scent obviously of one of the neighboring packs or clans. It was one strong, solid scent and not a series of fading scents like what one would usually find on a lone wolf or wanderer. He was from somewhere. Theodore’s words echoed through her mind, giving her thoughts a suspicious edge to them. Inferni spy? It made sense to her…the male had gotten so close to their home, so close to her den where her son slept. What if something had happened to him? Had this stranger come to kidnap her child and take him to Inferni?

She pulled one of her short daggers from her belt, going to stand beside Theodore. ”You think you’re going to get away with this, Spy? You’re not! What do you want with my pack?” She wanted to get information out of him if she could, but if she couldn’t then killing him would send a clear message back to whoever had sent him. If she didn’t hear any more from Inferni after she took care of this intruder, then she would go there and demand to speak to Kaena. She hadn’t expected her would-be friend Kaena to have sent someone like this…but perhaps it was the other leader, the son of Ahren. ”If he doesn’t give me the right answer then I’ll take care of him, Theodore. The poison on this dagger is potent; he’d be dead before he could get at us.” She could probably drag the carcass to their borders herself, if the warrior didn’t want to help her with that.

OOC here: I have no idea. Scorpius was sposed to bring Juju with him. And that works for me. Oh, since this is is last post mark him dead?; 324 words

The sound of another voice had him opening his eyes. He couldn't turn his head to look and see who it was or what was going on. But it didn't seem to matter much at all. It seemed that his fate was sealed. They wouldn't listen to what he had to say. Not that he had the ability to say anything at the moment either. And of course he realized this once he tried to speak up again and found that he couldn't open his mouth to say anything.

Instead he made due like his brother did. He used a claw to spell out Inferni on the ground then pointed at the caves. He was trying to get across that he thought he was in Inferni. Though that was misinterpreted when he had spoken it so what would writing it out do for him? Still, he had to try it at least. Maybe this female would understand where the male hadn't.

He still didn't quite get that he had done something wrong. That he wasn't actually in Inferni like he thought. He didn't seem to realize that there were caved in more than one location. Of course this had quickly proven to be a fatal mistake for him. Or at least there had been talk of fatality. And since he found himself unable to answer properly it seemed that was just how it was going to end. He had no idea what he could do or say to prevent anything from happening. And he just seemed to be realizing what was going on. There was no way he was making it away. Nowhere he could run. These other canines had come into Inferni. He was probably in trouble for telling the leader of Inferni that he had heard noises in the caves before. He was right. There had been others hiding in the cave and it wasn't just wind as he had been told.

I'm so sorry for holding this up! I got a little disorganized and we planned this just before my little medical issue, so it all kind of slipped my mind (I wish I had a better excuse). I will just cover it all in this post! <3 A thousand pardons. Great thread! wc 1226

Near the outer walls of Anathema's cavernous dens was a little place newly discovered by puppy eyes, and therefor had been recently conquered by Scorpius. It was a mini-den of sorts that had been discovered by Juju during a game of hide-and-seek just a few days prior, and once Scorpius had given up and told his cousin to come out, he reveled in the discovery and claimed the den for himself. There was no thoroughfare from the tiny cave into the winding veins of the pack dens, and it was just a few feet deep which made it all the more unique and cooler. It was also up a small, rocky pathway that was only wide enough for pups to scale, and surely soon enough the pair would be too large to climb up to it. But for now, it was their favorite haven.

While his mother tried to nap Scorpius slipped off and awoke Juju with a good old fashioned ear chomp and demanded that his cousin come play. And by play, he clearly meant that Juju was to stand in the snow while Scorpius guarded their small den and demanded that he guess some password (which poor Juju had no chance of guessing, for if he did Scorpius would just change it, and his cousin would be none the wiser). The coal pup perched proudly upon the little ledge, his chest puffed out and a grin on his face. If Juju stopped trying to guess the magic word, he threatened to come down there and make him guess.

And the magic word never came, but their game did end. The two pups both jerked to attention when the foreign sound of someone singing in some strange tongue reverberated off of the rock. Scorpius's eyes darted out over the powder and spotted the form of the coyote man as he played alongside something that was more fit to eat than play with. He was coming this way. The unexpected threat put a stop to their game as well as Scorpius's temporary frugality.

“Juju, get up here, quick! He demanded, and the russet pup was up the rocky path in a flash. Scorpius inched aside so his cousin could take shelter, and then backpedaled into the den himself.

He peered over the ledge, nervous as the coyote approached. He and Juju were caught outside of the protective confines of the dens, and he felt anxious and prone in this spot. The pup glanced over his shoulder as though a magical hallway would appear, leading back into the tunnels, but all he saw was Juju. He turned back in time to watch the man meander on into one of the dens.

“Who is it?” Juju whispered, and Scorpus shushed him harshly.

“Don't give us away,” he cautioned his cousin.

The boy crouched in the den and through the thin layer of rock could hear unintelligible voices. The man had met someone, and a moment later the white stag tore from the cave and disappeared over the terrain. Scorpius felt a stronge urge to pursue the creature but had no illusions about his ability to take it down, and remained in his safe perch.

It did not take long, though, for the cub's curiosity to peak. Someone had discovered the intruder, and it was someone from Anathema. And by the sounds of the growling it was someone who was prepared to handle the situation. The charcoal pup scooted closer to the edge of the ledge and peered over, now looking on with increasing interest in place of the fright he felt a moment before. He did not even mind when Juju sidled up next to him and poked his russet nose over to see what was going on, too.

For a moment the pups looked down at the shadowed mouth of the cave and the snow. There were several sets of tracks there that belonged to the pups, the coyote, and the deer. Scorpius was surprised that the prints had not clued the man into their presence as he passed. Black ears swiveled and cupped, working like little satellites to pick up the muddled voices from inside. He could not understand the man at all, but the other voice was familiar. His red eyes bulged when a hulking, dark figure emerged from the depths of Anathema, and with him the man known as Theodore dragged the infiltrator. The boys watched as Theodore's large paws trampled over their tracks, and the man's body dug a deep rivulet in the snow, further concealing the pups' paw prints.

The cousins stared on in morbid fascination as Theodore ripped at the man's ear and his crimson lifeblood began to trail through his fur. Scorpius swallowed hard, and shushed Juju again as the red pup was about to say something more. “Don't ask me any questions, I don't know either. Just shut up. They'll hear us!” He scolded harshly, as low as possible. Luckily, his words were drowned out by the coyote's cries, and only Juju could make them out.

As the ordeal continued, both Scopius and Juju took on similar expressions. Their ears laid back and their eyes went wide, their little jaws hanging slack in surprised O's. This was certainly a sight! 'So Inferni sent you to spy on us did they?' Theodore's words rolled over the stone and to the boy's ears. The pups looked at each other for a moment, sharing a shocked glance, and then turned back to the scene.

“Come on, lets get a closer look,” Scorpius murmured to his cousin, and then slipped past him and made a speedy descent. He landed in the snow just in time to see his mother's ivory form streak out of the den. He hugged the rocks, keeping low and out of sight, afraid of getting in trouble, but she had her sights set on the immediate threat to her pack and jogged right past his hiding place. Juju was soon next to him, though he pushed himself protectively into his cousin's path.

So, this was a spy? A spy from Inferni. Scorpius knew enough to understand that Inferni was another pack, but nothing more. The boy stood erect, enticed and enthralled by the scene that played out before him. Now, with both Theodore and Naniko here, he no longer felt afraid or unsafe. He drank down the action like a man at a desert oasis. This was new, this was thrilling, and this was primal. He finally could suppress his fascination no longer and began to inch away from his hiding spot and out into the open, trying to gain a closer perspective on the scene. The man was lying limp now, his ear gone and blood matting his fur and melting the snow beneath him, and Naniko exchanged quick words with Theodore...

He started as Juju bumped into his rump. He had nearly forgotten about his cousin, and jerked his head around to shoot him an angry glare. “Watch it! He yelped at the rusty puppy, and all at once he had blown their cover. His gaze flicked back to the scene and to the three forms before him. The man looked like he was asleep now. Scorpius could not (yet) tell the difference between the sleeping, the unconscious, and the dead.

ooc;; sorry guys, this lack of computer at home situation is crippling i swear!

If the coyote had yelped when Theodore's fangs had penetrated his muzzle the warrior didnt know. All he heard was the insistence that this was Inferni land. Despite his whole mouth covering the coyote's the dark warrior felt his muzzle scrunch in an angry snarl. This was Anatheman land and he was trespassing. He was going to die today, by his own paw he felt sure of it. There was something thrilling about having the power to do this. Hot red blood ran down Teddy's throat and settled in his stomach. Though irony and tangy it didnt settle well in his stomach. Unlike deer and rabbit blood, his body wanted to reject the coyote blood that lay in his stomach. He was about to release his iron-grip on the dusty creatures muzzle when the pale streak he hadnt seen came to a stop. Naniko's angry voice came forward and Teddy knew the kill was no longer his.

With rough harshness Teddy wrenched his fangs from the coyote's muzzle. His black muzzle was hardly stained with blood but when he flashed his teeth at the coyote on the ground his fangs were dripping with crimson blood. He barely heard what Naniko said, his anger pulsing in his ears so that anything the creature may or may not have said. However blue eyes did not see the pathetic creatures mouth move and therefore deduced that he had not spoken. Naniko's last words got through to him and he allowed blue eyes to connect with green for a few seconds. This was an enormous thing they were about to do, but it was fair and just that they kill him. He gave a nod before adding.

”As you wish. Go for his heart”

He spoke in a low growl. Tail flickered once as he watched Naniko's every move. She was his superior and it was her pack, so it was her right to kill the creature. Still Theodore felt the unbelievable wave of anger that he was unable to kill the coyote himself. He had found him, he had dragged him out here and it should be him to kill the coyote. But Naniko was his superior, he would not cross her lest he be subject to her poison tipped dagger. Blue eyes were growing wider as he waited for the final blow from the white queen when he heard a squeel from behind. Head whipped around and he took in two puppies, one as dark as he was and the other a rustic brown. He was about to snarl at them to go away, but felt this was also Naniko's duty. If she wanted her son to see this, it was her perogative. He licked his lips once before turning back, waiting once more.

I feel so bad for poor Izaak ;_; I'll archive this. wc: 540

She was concentrating hard on the task at hand. If there was one thing that Naniko would kill another canine for it was threatening her family. She didn’t understand how one could ignore strong scent markers and go into the lands of another pack and trespass. She took things like trespassing very seriously; how could she know what intent the trespasser had? It was life or death in the canine world, that was why she had chosen to form a pack and live among other canines. A pack of wolves together was much more powerful than one loner. A part of her leadership duties included protecting the pack from danger and threats, she felt, and today she would do just that.

He wasn’t giving the wolves of Anathema the answer that they wanted. Inferni, yes, they knew that he was from Inferni. She growled angrily at the lack of communication that they were having. He wouldn’t give up his information? Fine. She wasn’t one for torture…maybe she would never know why the spy had been sent. ”Alright.” She answered Teddy. Her packmate seemed just as angry as she was, just as enraged that a member of another pack would come so deeply into their territory.

A sound from behind her made her turn back momentarily. She shouldn’t have been surprised to see the two puppies there but she was; her jade eyes widened at the sight of her son and nephew so close by. What if the intruder had found them first? She was lucky that Theodore had been there to intercept him. Naniko turned back to Izaak. This could be a learning opportunity for the young ones about what you did to an intruder who came into Anathema’s claimed territory without permission to spy on them. ”Scorpius. Come closer and watch.” She demanded.

"This is what outsiders get for intruding into our lands and coming so close to our dens." She would show the boy what to do…and when he joined the ranks in the pack she would award him with a poison dagger of his own. Juju too, if the boy turned out to show any promise. As long as he vowed his loyalty to her and the pack, then she had no problem giving her nephew a similar object with which to protect them. Without further words the Angela lifted her arm into the air, her dagger coming down on the chest of the outsider. It dug through flesh and found a soft area, the poisoned tip digging deeply.

His heart would stop quickly, as she had seen in the animals that she had killed with her dagger. Once she heard it stop beating she looked back to her packmates, her friend and family. ”Good work, all of you. If you find any trespassers like this in the future…do not hesitate to take action against them. No hesitation. If you don’t feel you can handle them yourself, call for me or anyone else in the area.” She would take the body to the borders and dump it there, a sign to any other would-be intruders. ”Go inside where it’s safe, Scorpius, Juju. I’ll be back soon.” She lifted the body over her shoulder, beginning the trek to the borders.
