Let the first meeting of the Clean Club commence X3 SoSuWriMo 418

There was a small but warming fire burning in the hearth of the Wolfville house. If the weather were warmer, it was possible that Tsukiko would have ventured from her home more often, but with winter in full swing she usually preferred to stay in where it was warmer. As she swept the floor she remembered back to the hot springs her parents had taken her to on a few occasions. Soaking in that hot natural water had been so soothing and wonderful. She would give anything to be back there right now. The Japanese fey closed her eyes for a few moments, revisiting that moment in time. Her little puppy paws had paddled around in the shallows of the spring, occasionally splashing water at her father and mother. In private times like those the strictness of their noble decorum had relaxed and they could act as any common family would. In many ways, those were her favorite memories. The smiles on her parents faces, the sound of their laughter.

Reluctantly she opened her eyes again, revealing the sad reality that she now lived. A sigh pressed forth from her lungs as she looked down at the wooden floor. "Tsukiko? Anataha genki desuka?" Cerulean eyes swept over to look at Setsuna, who was laying upon the sofa, her bright yellow eyes filled with concern. "Hai, Setsuna. Watashi hachoudosorerawo oboe teimashita." The black feline nodded contemplatively. She had been very close friends with the former Shimazu clan leaders, and Tsukiko knew that she missed them almost as dearly as she herself did. "Kitai wo kome te, aru nichi sorerano kioku gasonoyouna kanashimi wo hikioko shimasen." The moonlit girl nodded at her friend's words. "Hai, itsuka..."

She offered the cat a small, slightly sad smile before she turned back to her sweeping. There was a small pile of dust and dirt that she continuously swept closer and closer to the front door. It was collected from the whole of the house, but even then the pile was not large. Tsukiko made sure to sweep every few days to avoid things getting too dirty. Once she reached the front door she opened it, her pale fur standing up at the blast of cold air from outside. Quickly she swept the dirt and dust outside. Her eyes looked at the scenery before her door for a moment, trying instead to picture the beautiful architecture of the Shimazu estate. She hoped that everything would be more or less the same when she returned.

Heck yes! 379 words.. this sucks :d I blame my boyfriend being on the phone.

It was really cold out. Actually, to the Dawnbringer female that was an understatement. Shiloh wished she had more than one coat that day, even with the sun out, albeit barely. Her hands were wrapped around herself as she walked across Dahlia, having just come out of her own home for some fresh air. Snow crunched under her feet as she kept on walking along Wolfville, glancing at the houses in the white distance all around her.

The young damsel, despite how cold she was, had to get out of the house. It was stuffy inside, especially with all, or most, of her family members in there. A part of her instantly regretted it, though, as her entire body wracked with shivers. It was the girl's first winter, and it was beautiful to begin with - the snow falling gently, how beautifully white and pristine everything was, and watching snowflakes gently fall and cover her surroundings. Now it was biting cold, and other days Shi would stay inside due to the snow flurries that blew through the lands. Today it was somewhere in between - freezing cold but a light fall of snow. Her head was buried low in her coat, wishing she had a scarf, or even just to be inside again.

She took a few more steps forward before daring herself to poke her muzzle out of its warm confinement. Cerulean eyes looked about in the mist, seeing nothing but silhouetted houses and gentle flakes falling. Wrapping her tail around her legs as she stood there, Shiloh thought she heard the sounds of movement, of a door opening nearby. Turning her head slightly to the left, the young damsel knew she wasn't dreaming. Another white wolf was sweeping, this Shiloh knew by the motions her ears caught on to. Deciding it was her best option, Shiloh meandered over.

As the white and cream colored female neared, her presumptions were correct. Shiloh smiled slightly as she saw the other sweeping, which instantly told her that this female kept her house neat and tidy. From a few feet away from the house and where the other female stood, she waved. "H-h-hello th-there!" Shi stammered in the bitter cold, instantly wrapping the hand that waved a greeting back around herself.

Was it snowing in Japan right now? The Shimazu so wished to know what the state of affairs were back at home. Her uncle was likely making a huge mess of everything, as that seemed to be a flaw in his very nature. Sometimes she wondered at the truth of her Noboro actually being related to her father. They seemed total opposites. Her father had been everything a noble leader should be, while Noboro would be much more fitted to the role of village scammer and troublemaker. He was the reason she had had to leave. If she hadn't, she would have been trapped into marriage with someone who had paid for her hand, not earned it. There was no doubt in Tsukiko's mind that whoever her uncle chose would not have been an honorable sort of person. Not the sort of person she wished to be tied to, to have to share her rule with.

Her concentration was broken as a stammered greeting drifted through the cold winter air. The Japanese fey turned to see a young female wearing a coat, waving hello to her. She may not have been the most well versed person in social interactions, especially when it came to these lands, but hospitality was something she understood well. "Hello, would you care to come inside? You look awfully cold," her accented voice spoke, taking time to pronounce each "l". She had never seen the other wolf before, but she was deep in Dahlia territory so she must have been a part of the pack. Offering her a place to warm up was really the least that she could do.

301 words. OOC ENDING: Tsukiko and Shiloh get to know eachother, and start a silly idea of a Clean Club, seeing as they are both very much alike. Shi is intrigued by her pet cat, and leaves wishing she had one of her own.

The cold was beginning to seep through the young female's coat, biting past Shiloh's fur and seeping into her skin. Teeth chattered slightly in her mouth, but she did her best to stay composed. The damsel was glad to have found someone in the foggy cold, everything was beginning to mist up and around her that she had trouble seeing where she was going. Shiloh noticed, as she pulled her coat tighter around her form, that the female at the entrance of the building was wearing something very.. foreign. At least, Shiloh had never seen any wolf wear something like it before.

However, Shi observed in the biting cold the female perfectly clean and white, even from here. One ear twitched in curiosity, but she would have to think later. A small smile painted the damsel's muzzle as the female, with a strange accent as well, inviting her in. Shiloh nodded and walked closer to the building. How was she going to say no at a time like this? The Dawnbringer female stood at the foot of the steps to the other white wolf's house, looking up with thankful cerulean eyes. "Th-thank you, yes," she said meekly.

But without another word, the pristine female stepped up and entered through the doorway, past the other female. She still kept her arms wrapped about herself, adjusting her eyes to the new and dimmer light that was in the small house. Her perfectly white muzzle turned back towards the female who was kind enough to let her in from the cold. "I don't believe I've ever seen you around Dahlia, before," she said in a curious voice. It was true, she had never seen the strange, yet extremely tidy female around the pack. Shiloh was sure she would have made this female's acquaintance sooner.
