It was getting towards the mid point of the winter season and the temperature was hitting so low. Sepirah was getting more used to the cold, but still hated it. The chill always felt like it was sinking in from her fur and right down to her skin. The bare thought of it sent shivers down the dark princess’ spine. She was sick of the cold and couldn’t wait until the warmth of spring to arrive. It wouldn’t be much warmer, but at least there would be no more snow covering the entrance of her home. That was another thing that was beginning to tick her off. Snow from the top of the exit would fall inside her home and begin to build since the weather was still cold. Before she knew it she would be buried in her own home. It wouldn’t be a bad thing per say, just a minor setback in her life. She would just have to spend part of her morning clearing the way and removing the snow from the entrance.

Sepirah yawned as she woke that morning. Normally she would try to sleep in whenever she could, but for now she felt like she had to wake up. Her golden eyes gazed over to the snow covered entrance. She couldn’t help but sigh as she raised herself up and moved over to remove the excess snow. The dark princess used her back paws to kick the snow away and kept her front paws in the cave so they would stay warm. The last thing she needed was all her feet getting frozen; although, that seemed highly unlikely to happen. Once she was done, she was eager to get back to some sleep before she decided to go out and do some training. It was one of the things she had been neglecting since winter had started. The jackal was falling behind on her practicing and was eager to catch back up with herself. She knew that the other warriors were not likely to train her so she would have to learn how to fight well on her own. The dark girl crawled to the back of her cave and curled up for her nap before heading out to practice.

Sepirah woke up later in the afternoon. The sun was out, but it was not warm enough to where the snow would be melting. She yawned before moving outside her home and looking for the perfect place to train. Since it was winter, she didn’t want to do to the training near the water. She padded through the snow a bit north of her home until she came to Riparian Moors. It looked like it was just a clear field, the prefect place to use as a training spot until it was warm enough to move back to the beach. The jackal fixed her scarf and mask before taking a fighting stance and begun to spar with her invisible partner. She wished she had a real coyote to spar with, and preferably someone who wasn’t a jerk.
