Going the Distance

Here you go Erza. SSWM: 555

Sepirah had never really ventured to the far western packs and always wondered what they were like. During the winter may not have been the best time to go exploring fearing that the pack members she came to see would try to chase her away. She was not out to take anything from the other packs and wanted to just meet some of the other packs. Doing this would also help to make relations with Inferni and the other packs more at peace as well as learn more about them. She was out to become the ambassador for the Inferni pack and wanted to help bring news to the pack about what was going on. She seemed out of the pack most of the time anyways and wanted to put this to use. The dark princess knew there were at least three more packs to the direction. She figured she would just run into one by accident and learn more about them as she met one of the pack mates. Perhaps if the dark girl was luck enough, she would run into one of the leaders of these packs. So far she wasn’t having such good luck and she knew this was bound to happen. Leaders were busy and had duties to attend to. She was hopeful that she would find someone who knew the leaders well.

Sepirah woke up and looked outside of her home. It seemed that there was no snow falling from the sky, which was a good thing. She stepped out into the cold and she wrapped her scarf around her neck. Since she had a ways to travel, she stayed in her lupus form. She trotted out of her den and began to head towards the southern end of the borders. Once she got there, she stopped to the line of skulls that showed the outside world where they laid. She had no idea why every time she came to the borders, she had to stop to look at the skulls. She was sure there was some reason behind this, but she was unsure of what that was. Once she was done looking at the skulls, she leapt over them and began to head to the western side of the souls region. She bounded through the trees and dodged them well with the way her body was built. She was even felt herself bounding off some of the rocks on the way acting as if she could fly. She felt some laughter escape her lips as she ran. The wind brushed through her fur, but because she was running so much, it felt good against her. She paused when she felt that she had gone far enough. She looked around and sniffed the air. The jackal didn’t see or smell anything out of the ordinary so she padded along.

Sepirah paused when she caught the scent of another pack nearby. She was sure that she had come to the borders of one of the western packs but she was not sure of which one she had come to. She didn’t want to present herself as a rude one so she waited around the borders for someone to notice her. She emitted a small yawn before she lowered herself to the ground and laid there until someone decided to come around.

blame sosuwrimo for the most rambly post EVAR x_x;;; I swear it wasn’t done on purpose :p. words: 630

Ezra really was terrible at sticking around in one place. He was always either running, exploring, or discovering the new possibilities of his body. Ezra would never admit it, but having the (albeit slow and uncomfortable) ability to shift forms made life more interesting. He could see now why Ever was so proud of her abilities, but it never struck him as life-changing. He would definitely never be one of those types to fiddle with the human world, either through objects or clothing. Time would tell to see how well he stocked up his new house, but for now he couldn’t imagine living a luperci/human lifestyle. Though it was incredibly fun and exhilarating, almost dangerous and covert.

Ezra had given Ever so much grief for her body. He could never tell her the joys he felt of being able to walk on two feet, even if the joy was an extremely new one. He couldn’t break her heart like that as it was the reason why they had trouble starting in the first place. He loved her too much to let her know his true feelings. At first, Ezra hated it and felt like his life was stolen from him. But now, after being forced to shift to make the house they were living in together, Ezra was forced to try his new body out and experiment. These experiments led to private runs through the forest in the bitter cold, as if bipedalism was waking him up inside. Maybe one day the couple could enjoy their bodies together freely, but for now, it was a secret pleasure Ezra held dearly in secret.

Today was no different. Ever and Ezra had finished for the day on their house; it was nearly done. Ezra had been getting supplies in Halifax lately, and even though he used his secui form in Halifax, he changed just for the hell of it on the way back. This was all just to experience his new life. The boy had dropped off the new building supplies earlier in the day and had worked on the carpentry today. But the sun was setting, the two of them were tired, and he couldn’t take it anymore. It was time for a run. The boy said goodbye to his love before whisking off somewhere to change shape. This time, he had chosen the borders. Ezra hadn’t been to the borders since his injury, but along with accepting his shifting ability, Ezra let go of his attack. He was still thinking it over constantly in his mind, but it hurt less and less to think about it. Going to the borders without fear was another milestone for him, after weeks and weeks of despair.

The boy had shifted on a popular trail that went all the way through the forest. It was the very same dirt trail leaders and members alike took to greet newcomers; Ezra had been on this very same one with Vigilante just a few short months ago. Walking on this same trail with two feet instead of four was unnerving, to say the least, but he kept moving his ivory paws forward. The two-toned boy managed to block everything out, at least for now.

Ezra’s nose suddenly picked up the scent of a foreigner, but one that smelled of a pack. Nostrils flaming in nervous anticipation, the boy walked over to the general area of the petite stranger. She was a creature unlike Ezra had ever seen before. Mostly dark like Ezra himself, the boy stared at her from a ways away. The wolfdog stared at the laying woman, and let out a bark. “Can I help you?” Ezra requested loudly, intruiged by the new character in front of him but still not too close for comfort.

Sorry for the wait. SSWM: 464

Sepirah yawned as she continued to wait. She was growing rather bored of just sitting around and waiting to see if anyone was even going to turn up. All she could do was stare into the pack lands and try to see if anyone was daring to even welcome the Inferni member to the pack borders. She didn’t think that the members of the pack were ignoring her on purpose. She figured that like back home, the pack was busy with their duties during the winter. She was sure that all the other members of the pack also had things going on in their personal life as well. The dark princess didn’t mind waiting a little longer to see if anyone was going to turn up. It’s not like she had anything better to do back home; although, the snow was getting to her and she stood back up. She longed for the day she could watch the snow melt from her home and she could go running along the grass once more. She paced herself around so that her scent would be in the area and she would be able to go away from the borders a bit to look around. The jackal stretched out her limbs and then wrapped her tail around them so that she could warm them up a bit.

Sepirah paused when she caught the scent of something coming towards her. She stood tall and simply turned her head back so that she could see who was coming. She noticed the white and black figure coming towards her from the heart of the pack lands. She could tell that it was a male from his figure. He had interesting eyes seeing as each of them was a different color. The dark princess’ ears moved up as she heard him speaking and ask if he could help her. She shook her head before she finally turned her whole body around to face the male. She would have to at least explain what she was doing here so that she didn’t seem suspicious. ”I am a member of the Inferni pack. I have just come here to explore the packs in the western region. I assume this is one of them?” The jackal paused for a moment and then shook some of the snow off her fur. ”Which pack is this one?” She didn’t know the names on the packs at all, so she wasn’t even sure on the name of this one. This would help her to gain more information on the surrounding area and help her to know where she was in case she had any information to deliver between the two packs. The dark girl yawned as she waited for the male to speak.

Sorry for the delay. Also, I suck for the short post. X_x

Ezra peered at the stranger with curiosity. She certainly was intriguing to look at. “I’m afraid that you’ve reached Cour des Miracles, on the eastern shore,” he said simply, giving her another look over. He had never greeted strangers at the border before, and wasn’t quite sure what to do. The dark lady in front of him didn’t seem like a threat, so the secui male relaxed momentarily. She smelled unusual, too, and Ezra was unsure of where she came from. He had never met anyone from Inferni, nor did he know of the wolf-coyote tension the pack had around these parts. “Dahlia’s north of here, if you’ve ever been ‘round those parts. I don’t know where else you’ve been looking, but I can’t tell you what’s west of here. I’m Ezra, by the way,” he said, trying to keep it amiable. He didn’t know anything about her, but kept his slight anxiety hidden.
