OOC: Word count: (430) - - Sorry 'bout the delay. Got overloaded with school work temporarily. No idea if this start's any good, so i hope it's okay :3

Heavy dark eyelids opened to reveal clear blue eyes, clouded with sleep. Key blinked a few more times to clear the sleep away, it was morning and his stomach was complaining about the lack of food he had in it. Slowly and unsteady at first he rose to his feet stretching and waking himself up bit by bit. Then, in a quick accurate movement he left his cave, hugging to the walls as he navigated himself through the maze of tunnels, his dark, sooty coloured coat blending him into the dark caves he travelled. Alaki loved the caves, he could remain undetected for the most part in them and it pained him to leave them, but he had to eat eventually.

Making a sharp turn here and there he eventually brought himself down a thin tunnel which would lead him to a secluded exit. Small threads of light bled through the gaps in the cave ceiling, providing a dim light throughout the tunnel, gradually the amount of light increased as Key drew closer to the exit. Light continued to build up until he eventually left the caves, the light temporarily blinding him. Standing stunned in the light Key took a moment to regain himself. The morning was quiet, everything and everyone most be asleep or not close by he noted. Alaki moved with practised precession down the rocky face of the cave, he knew which ledges could support his weight and those that which were big enough to stand on, he reached a small ledge which stood a little above the ground and so he jumped. A small thud broke the silence as he connected to the ground in a graceful manor. Since nothing living and edible was near the caves he was going to have to travel further into the territory in search of a meal.

After an hour or so of looking with little to-no results Alaki found himself close to the border and to his delight he had finally spotted an average sized bunny, chewing on the foliage not to far ahead. Moving himself closer, concentrating on reaming undetected he brought himself closer and closer to his prey, with a quick burst of speed he leapt through the bush he was hiding behind and his teeth connected with the rabbit, the rabbit thrashed around under his hold to then slowly die.

Satisfied with his meal he found a spot to eat in peace, looking out to beyond the border to view the sun and the world around him come to life as more and more creatures awoke.

OOC: sorry for the wait D: the start is great <3 wc: 353

A disturbed presence had racked the woman’s mind throughout the early hours of that morning, preventing her to achieve any rest possible with a steel barrier constricting any access to the dream zone. She didn’t know why she just couldn’t get to sleep. With a restless mind and a lingering aura, she set out upon a refreshing walk in hope that it would perhaps clear her clouded mind and allow her to find some sort of mental sanctuary to watch the sun peak above the horizon. She shifted into her domesticated dog-like feral form, and instead of retaining her petite elegance as in Optime, she morphed into a small quadruped resembling on contrast a tiny Chihuahua dog compared to a bulky wolf as one may expect, with a fizzled curled up tail to match. An unknown force had drove her to travel aimlessly for miles, carefully placing black leather pads after one another in a three track rhythm unaware of her co-ordinates or direction. She was chasing the horizon, and at the time it seemed rather therapeutic to run into the light her mind free, almost hypnotised with the fantasy even though she wasn’t travelling any closer to the glinting sun, no matter how fast or slow she ran she never really got near. It was only when trickling scent of blood floated over a faint breeze and caught her attention that her path changed south west, with her tiny paws on pursuit and dished ears hailing radar red alert. It wasn’t uncommon for the woman to find such a creature related to herself eating as she had done so in so many other situations, but to decide to greet the creature anyways intent on growing her tree of relations so that it blossomed full and vibrant. Trotting up to the up seemingly larger wolf, she playfully wiggled her fluffy tail, wagging slightly. ”Hey, im Shayna... from Dahlia De Mai” where the only words she could seem to push out, with no real intention or awareness of what or who she may have been encountering, regardless it was fun to meet new wolves..

Word Count: 398 - ^^

The dark male dug into his meal, eagerly tearing mouthfuls from the now dead rabbit. With each mouthful the dull ache of hunger began to fade until it was gone, leaving nothing but scraps on the remains of the rabbit and a satisfied wolf. Nearby he could hear the sounds of someone or something approaching, not to close but definitely heading in his direction. Irritation sparked within him; had someone smelt his kill and decided to try and steal it? Reaching down he snagged one last bite from his meal and swallowed it, licking his lips to clear away any mess. Once happy that he was finished with his meal he reluctantly turned to locate whatever was approaching him.

Up ahead was a small brown and white ball of fluff, the size of the newcomer greatly resembled a puppy but the female seemed to be an adult. The sight of the smaller creature humoured him and he found himself resisting the urge to laugh at the strangers’ small form. So instead he simply looked at her and rose a questioningly eyebrow at her. The little one approached in an overly happy way, seeming to confident for one of her stature; did she not see how weak and feeble she was? Could she not see how easy it would be for him to kill her? Pity spilled though him and he let out a light sigh, he was in no mood to be making nice with such a character. Canines who acted happy when they were weak easy prey were lost causes and should be ignored.

Twisting his body he began to turn away to leave, but then he remembered where he was. This was Anathema territory and the small one was by the border and so he could not leave unless he confirmed her reasons for approaching. His eyes scanned over the female, but she was so small and weak looking, could she really cause any trouble if he were to simply leave.

There was no way of knowing, which meant that he would have to deal with her, which was definitely not what he had been planning to spend his day doing. Sighing again, but louder this time he let the female introduce herself as Shayna.

“I’m Alaki, from Anathema” he simply responded, pausing to consider his next words. “So, why do you approach our borders Shayna?”.
