Here we go, time for the sparks to fly Big Grin He's only really sulking, but that's a good enough reason in his books to be a rude, miserable, little boy :p

It’s strange how one can change so quickly, things you believed to be set in stone are really only structures of sand. Alaki had believed that he could not speak nor socialize with other, all of his previous attempts lead him to freezing up or a disastrous misunderstanding. But recently his ability to do so had greatly improved with his crossing paths with various characters. He also came to understand that although he may now posses the skills to speak to others he did not like socializing… Nor did he like others all that much either.

Solitude is what he enjoyed best. Packs, friends and companionship offered some comforts, yes, he could see why others choose to spend their time in the company of another, but with those benefits came downfalls, everyone held expectations and they spend their time with those who boost their confidence: the kind friend who tells you everything will be okay, the not-so-good looking friend that boosts your confidence in your own appearance. It was ridiculous, everyone only approached those they could benefit from, and they always approach with an ulterior motive, a need. Well, Key had nothing to give and had nothing he wished to receive so he stuck close to his lonely path of solitude, it was safe, certain, no surprises.

The wind picked up, tossing his dark coat in random directions, its cold salty breeze stinging Key’s eyes. Slowly, in a sloppy, lazy movement he slumped onto his side, sheltering half of his body from the strong ocean winds. After stumbling across the small rocky outcrop on one of his previous travels he had fallen in love with the quiet place. The Quartz Shoreline was close to his packs territory, he could easily slip in and out when he wished to spend time alone. Just ahead he could see the water moving in and out across the clear sands, just sand, rocks and the moving water. Maybe it was the simplicity of the place that he enjoyed the most, nothing was hidden; there were few shadows, and no complications.

But even sitting around here seemed to do little to lift his low mood, he’s spent time with others which he did not dislike nor like. If anything the whole experience had exhausted him, which was the reason behind his solitude escape. But being alone with just his thoughts had dragged his mood to an all time low.

“Why do I bother? Life would be so much more simpler if I had just kept to myself” he paused, considering his words then rolled over onto his back, kicking up sand. “Arugh, that wasn’t working in the first place, that’s why I sought out a pack, baka baka baka.” He rose to his feet and with it his volume rose “God dammit, why is everything so darn complicated!” He fell back down to his stomach, paws over his muzzle. The wind picked up again, this time he remained still, simply lying there sulking and mulling over his situation.

I have fight table now!

'Maybe because your such a pessimist...' J'adore chimed suddenly lifting his head up from his tan paws and yawing. He began to stand and stretch his hind legs before jumping the foot or two from his seat. With a confident stride over to the strange wolf he continued, the next comment being more of a sly joke, 'A smile may help' he grinned with a smile as sly as his comment. He lifted his hind right leg to his neck and scratched a small spot. He had ventured the long way from the AniWaya border, to the Quartz shoreline. He would normally never go this far west, but hey he was a free man. He shook his head letting coco tinted locks fall haphazardly over his head, 'You should get out more, and stop whining, I hate whiners! What could be so bad you need to put a downer on my day?' he asked cockily, half whining, half musing. J’adore had to admit he was being a bit mean, but this guy was seriously getting on his nerves and had been since he had woken the Spanish male for his light doze. He had been enjoying himself dreaming about random things he could not remember by time he’d cursed the newcomer, mentally. After a second of mental curses, he inquired, ’Who are you anyway?’

Yay for fight tables xD And yup, he's being childish now -_- and slightly crazy xD

A slight sound of movement alerted Key to the presence of another, but before he had a chance to assess the situation the stranger spoke to him, commenting on Key’s no longer private monologue. It wasn’t so much that the stranger had shared his opinion on what Key had been more or less shouting aloud but more the attitude and confidence that the stranger was emitting. That’s what had pissed him off, not that that ever took much to do so.

Pressing his paws into the sand he rose and turned to face the arrogant intruder, raising his head so that he looked directly at the newcomer. It had been said that first impressions stick and this guy sure made an impression; in fact, he had reached pretty high on the ‘waste of space’ list within a matter of minutes. To temporarily distract himself from the nuisance that had shown itself Key shook his coat, small grains of sand dislodging themselves from his coat with the movement.

Once satisfied he had removed the majority of the sand his attention shifted back to the male. He was still speak so Key remained where he was, his body falling into in a neutral, relaxed posture as he continued to listen and watch the male speak or at least that was what he had planned, but then the unknown male asked who Key was and before he could stop himself he burst into laughter, lowering his head whilst shaking it slowly from side to side.

He had been mulling over the complications of socializing with others and the need for personal information others seemed to need for the last few hours and this complete strange simply came along, commented on his monologue and then asked for his name. No matter how he looked at it he saw the whole situation hysterical.

Gasping for breath, he turned his back to the stranger and began to leave.

And it's purple! I think we should put [M] and an [M] banner on this post.... J'adore swears in this post, yhuh. BTW I PPed a bit here.

Surfise to say he was taken aback by the strangers ignorance, J'adore was not an easy wolf to anger, but this male seemed to push the right buttons instantly.'Didn't your parents ever teach you manners?!' he questioned after a disbelieving laugh. Now he was searching for a comment that really hit home. J'adore knew a lot of words, some as sharp as a blade. 'Or don't you have any? Did they throw you out with the rain water?' J'adore had to admit he was being as ass, but it had been so long since he had done anything like this, and oddly, even though he was a laid back type, he hungered for violence. Still the stranger walked away, his bland grey tail straight behind him. J'adore threw his last blow hoping to cause a reaction from the ignorant wolf, 'êtes-vous même écouter? crétin!' He shouted this verbal dagger in French, not knowing if he would understand. But he often spoke in other tongues, and so did many around. He didn't know what else to say after that, but the grey one stopped, he didn't turn around but he stopped. Was this the turning point? Would J'adore get what he was after? Or would the wolf do another stupid laugh? Cretin J'adore thought again as he waited like a spider in her web. But did the spider catch anything this time?

PP's fine with me Smile And trying to write a semi-serious fight scene with 'Another one bites the dust' playing in the background is near impossible i have discovered :') Oh and [M] stuff added ^^

His entire body froze on the spot, it was not like him to be effected by another’s petty words but that bastard had seriously crossed the line, he not only insulted Jay but then went and spoke like Jay. Every muscle bunched up, tensed aching for release. Deep in his throat he could feel his anger building; his mind went completely blank at that moment, instinct taking over.

That bastard. That bastard. That BASTARD. “Vous mère maudit chien sale!” he screamed at the stranger, within a few seconds he spun his body around, his hind legs kicking into the sand, clouds of white sand burst behind him as he ran at the arrogant one, all the while letting out a low, menacing growl. As he ran he swiftly shifted into his Suci form, his muscles strengthening and his form enlarging; changing from one of stealth and speed to one of strength and bulk.

When he was close enough to the male he lowered himself down and lept at him, aiming to shut the bastard’s mouth by force. His moth opened, sharp elegant white teeth looking to be soaked in the blood of another.

The fool wanted a fight? Well, he was getting one.

Good, now we can have some fun! Since 'Dore doesn't know Alaki's name he calls him grey. He's gonna get the necklace now and it drops on the floor and they don't notice. At the end I was thinking of J'adore having Alaki on his back, just after Alaki has biten him on his chest, immobilsed and asking for his name again, then letting him go.

J'adore felt a smile creep onto his lips. A sly, cruel and mocking one. Grey was making for him, struggling to run in the sand. Shifting into his Secui form as the grey did. 'Bring it, Grey' J'adore muttered to himself. The strangers speed was a match for his own, as he was on J'adore moments after starting his sprint. He dug his claws into the ground, readying himself for the attack. His nose in his Secui was built like a Bull Terriers, strong and perfect for barging things out of the way. First he cunningly bowed his head for the attack, aiming at the grey's chest, ears against his head. His head connected with the grey's chest with a huge 'puff' sound and J'adore lifted his head up to continue his attack. He lasted out a few times with his teeth and claws at his attackers face, chest and legs. The pair slipped about in the sand as the fought, not only eah other, but the sand too. J'adore felt a fierce pain along his jawline and another at his shoulder, but he kept on fighting. His left paw faling for something to grab on to he caught a piece of cord and pulled at it, hoping to strangle the grey. He wasn't aiming to kill, just to maim and send a message. Don't mess with J'adore Austral!

Slight PP here, hope that's okay ^^ And J'adore's getting called . . . various things -_- Ending sounds good :p How long do you want to drag this out?

Alaki was struggling in the sand, as he moved sand fell into new wounds, the small particles further irritating the burst of pains that covered him. He’d made a fatal error, charging blinding at an enemy without assessing its strengths and he hated to admit it, the fool was good. He’d only managed to get a few decent shots in at the male, but that was not enough; if he was going to go down, he’d leave the arrogant one with a few good souvenirs, just to show that he was taught some manners. He wriggled around in the sand to dislodge the brown male, as he shifted something tightened around his neck, cutting his growl of complaint halfway and blocking his airway.

The filthy bastard was going to strangle him. Thrashing around further to break away from the male, he lifted his hind leg, pushing it in the general direction of his attacker and felt it connect. Blood oozed between his paws and he could feel strong bone underneath the fur, he’d connected with the male’s shoulder, close to where he had injured it. A forced smile spread across his breathless lips, gathering strength in his leg he pushed at the male’s injured shoulder, throwing himself back as the male fell away creating some space between the two. Key heard a sharp snap followed by a light thud, but he had his space, a moment to gather himself, time for a plan.

Scanning the surroundings he noted a partially covered rock between himself and the male, it looked firmly planted and could be used as solid footing to gain some speed in this fight; the element of surprise is always good to have on your side he chuckled to himself. Keeping the small boulder in his sight he slowly covered the small space between himself and the male, moving until he felt the rock underneath his hind back legs. It was a one shot, but it should be a good one.

Bending his knees and pushing of from the rock he leapt at the male and the two collided once more. Teeth snapping and claws eager to connect with flesh, he wanted blood and would not stop until he got some.

PP is cool, Not long, justlong enough for J'adore to get his point across, then they can meet up later. If Alaki get's J'adore in the chest in the next post we'll end around that.p>

J'adore fell away as the grey aimed again at his already injured shoulder, making another scar through it making an X-like shape. He fell away and the grey managed to get up onto a rock and jump at him, thinking quick J'adore span around and let him hit the ground, working hard to get his weight onto of the grey, to immobilize him. It wasn't easy, he had to admit. The grey was as fast as he was and they were otherwise evenly matched. Both had not noticed the clump of metal and cords falling to the ground, as their eyes were on the fight and growls filled the air. J'adore managed to get a decent hit to the grey's cheek. He smiled sadistically and thought If only Vee could see me now! However something told him Vee wouldn't encourage such ruthless behaviour. He managed to clean up some of the blood around his mouth as he attacked with his thin black claws, he had a good chance of winning this fight and he wouldn’t give it up. It had been ages since he’d fought; the last had been with a guy called Savant, in France. He had won that fight...

Okie dokes. Here we go, bite to the chest (and a few cheap Alaki tricks xD)

It seemed as if fate its self wanted Key to loose this fight. The rock had been the only thing he could think of that would give him an advantage, he and the arrogant one were too equally matched, and Key’s only edge; his tricks and traps, were rendered useless upon the sandy shore. He was loosing this fight and he knew it, his breath was now coming out in laboured gasps, his muscles sore and aching. He had to act soon, think more, move faster, and do something.

But the male had him immobilized; he could barely squirm around in the sand let alone perform a counter attack. Mortified by the situation he found himself in, he threw himself from side to side, twisting, turning, kicking, trying anything and everything to move the male. As he fought restraint he felt the sand shift, he moved again and the sand moved a little, the sand that had been a constant nuisance throughout this fight may just come in handy after all he mused. A smug grin fell upon his face as he relaxed underneath the male gathering his strength, then in a quick motion he pushed his whole body to one side, with that one motion he felt the sand shift just a little, giving him space to move. The male that was upon him faltered a little, his hold loosening. Without hesitation Key twisted his body around and bit into the male’s chest hard, blood seeping into his mouth.

Now that he’d gotten a good hold, he wasn’t planning to let go.

J'adore winced at the pain in his chest, but he kept hold on his prey. 'You bastard!' he retained his grip and made sure the grey couldn't move. He leant in closer and asked again, boy he hated repeating himself. 'I asked you name!?' he ordered with a snarl. The unoticed clump of silver lay on the sands a few feet from the pair. The grey still squirmed beneath him. Blood dripped from his wounds soaking most of his white fur. He stood up and moved a few feet away, limping as he went, 'Get up and go!' he wasn't going to kill him, there was no victory in that. He would have nobody to pass on this battle. Of course he could tell them himself, but not everybody would believe him. He was fairly certain he won the fight and that the grey would not sink as low as to attack when the fight was over.

Hrrmz, will pm you in a sec Big Grin And yup, Key's back to being childish and petty xD

The end result was clear, he’d lost. If it had been another day under different circumstances maybe things would have ended differently, but the results of the fight were before him and so he had to accept them. He squired around, trying to free himself so that he may make a hasty escape. The arrogant one asked for his name again, yet Key remained silent concentrating on his escape only to be thrown of guard when the male released him. He was going to let him live? Why, what does he gain?

Raising up slowly, to shaking bloody legs he stared at the male, eyebrows furrowed together in confusion then simply turned his back to the male and started to walk away. Once he’d cleared a few sore paces he stopped and without looking back shouted “The name’s Alaki, you friggin baka yaro” then he continued to walk away, back turned against the male, laughing as he went. As he was about to go out of sight he stopped and turned to look back, raising his voice he called back to the male “Manners generally say when one person tells you their name, you tell them yours” a sly grin fell upon his face, he may of lost the fight but he had to make at least one more jab before he went.

J'adore didn't know much Japanese, but he knew plenty swear words. It was the first thing most learnt. Alaki, so that was the grey's name! J'adore smiled kindly, the comment was well recieved, 'Yes, how rude of me' he said sincerly, darkening his voice for the next part, 'J'adore Austral'. Ironic, huh? J'adore. The name of the man who'd just fueled, if not started a fight. He chuckled to himself mentally. Yes, he had won! Alaki left with a limp and J'adore shifted back into his Optime form. He went to walk, fogetting his wounds and nearly being knocked off his feet by the blinding pain in his side, 'Bastard' he cursed with a laugh. The small slash on his jaw didn't hurt as much, but he was lucky it was lower down. Of course his should was impared slightly, but his side! Oh his side! It was as if Ralla had set fire to his chest, not a warm cosy fire, but a roaring blue flame! Ah, I'll get him next time! J'adore thought, catching a glimpse of sivler on the sand. Bending down, with a series of curses and moans, he retrived a clump of silver from the beige mess. J'adore had himself a little prize. It wasn't a pretty thing, crude and oddly shaped, but silver none the less. The cord was snapped and J'adore felt a pang of guilt. h ehad not ment to break it. He didn't know if it was precious or not, but he thought it was best he mended it. He would take it home and sort it there.

Just finishing this up with Key's reaction to loosing the necklace. Boy is he gonna be mad once he finds out who has it Big Grin

He was in his optime form, running as fast as he could whilst trying not to jostle his injured arm which he cradled close to himself. He’d received treatment from Demi and knew he probably shouldn’t be out running around like a mad man, but it was missing. His breath hitched with panic, upon his brow sweat was forming. He’d lost it, Jay’s necklace; the only thing that he had to remind himself of the man who had raised him, tears filled his eyes, threatening to spill over. “Please be there, please be there” he chanted under his breath. A small hole was forming in his heart, it felt as if he may break at any moment.

Reaching the small rocky output where he had fought with J’adore earlier he leapt from the rocky ledge down to the sand. Looking around in frantic panic, he had no idea how to start searching, it was dark and he had no idea where it had fallen or if it had fallen during the fight at all.

Lowering himself down to his knees he ran his right hand through the soft sand, praying to find it. His hopes rising with every pebble and stone he uncovered. A soft whimper rose above the sound of the water, tears streaking down his face, “Please, please” he begged. He continued moving, still hoping, praying that he would find it. He searched the area once, twice, three times. It wasn’t there.

Hours passed, it was getting late and he had to start heading back to Anathema soon. Collapsing against a rock his head and arms hung loosely at his side, his bottled up emotions spilling out in the form of a loud whimper, he sat there upon the sand and cried his heart out. He was a failure; he couldn’t even look after a necklace! He should have stayed away; he should never have come to souls. He should have remained alone wandering here and there, maybe then he would still have a part of Jay with him. Without the necklace he felt the loss of Jay all over again, he was alone, he was a failure, a waste of space.

What was he going to do? He didn’t know but he had to do something, memories of Jay kept running through his mind, mocking him and fuelling the pain in his heart. Pulling himself together slightly, he rose and started heading home. He’d go home and sleep, sleep and forget everything. Locking away useless memories of companionship was easier than dealing with the loss that came with them. He’d forget about Jay, the necklace, everything.
