Yay! It is up (finally!)

He shifted slightly, carefully keeping his balance as to not fall from the branch he was resting upon. Bark snagged at his fur with the slight movement, tugging at his dark coat and snagging a few hairs out, one of his legs and his tail dangled freely of the branch rocking in a hypnotic motion.

Before his eyes he could see Dawn’s breath, he himself remained within the border of Anathema. The harsh rocky landscape had him mesmerized, he sat there calculating the best routes to take and had made a game of doing so, it was like a puzzle with many correct ways of doing it and for every safe passageway he found he discovered two dangerous ones.

Upon his tree he was at peace, he was alone and everything was quite, he had entertainment too and from his experience few ever seemed to pass near where he was, that and the fact he was up a tree made him feel secure enough to be in his optime form.

As usual, he had his long hair tied up in a low ponytail, his pocket knife tied onto his left ankle. His three ear piercings reflecting the light as it hit them and securely tied around his neck with a black cord was a small clump of silver. It wasn’t often that he was in his optime form, simply because he wasn’t an efficient fighter in it which made him feel vulnerable.

But here he felt calm and safe; another factor that contributed to his feeling of security may have been the fact that he was within the Anathema border, yes he thought, just being near his new pack seemed to greatly contribute to his feeling of safety. Who’d have thought? He actually felt safe when he was within the pack grounds, he who hated others and sucked at socializing had joined a pack and was happily feeling safe within its territory, he frowned slightly at the thought.

Shaking off his thoughts he rested his head back against the tree, closing his eyes. After a while he fell into a peaceful light sleep.
