ooc;; for anyone! sorry for neglecting my boy! <33 03.02.11 Oberon's Spring

The pointed peaks of his roof beams were horribly naked under the glare of the dull day. He had managed, with a little help of course, to build almost all of his house. The wooden slats that made up most of his house were different shades at the moment but with time they would all become dark and weather beaten. It was nice to think that he himself had done this- he'd gathered the wood himself and collected all the nails and screws to keep him abode together. He'd managed to salvage a few similar wooden beams to make his roof. They were, however, completely bare. He hadnt yet figured out what to do on top- whether he should gather more wood and just slat it like he did with the rest of his house. He knew he was beginning to get impatient and irritated in the house he still lived in with his Aunt and her not-quite mate Conor.

Cold air blasted against his fur, a threat that the young Stormbringer male was unsure of. He didnt think that anything serious would come of it, but he also knew not to be foolish. It was this cold air and the darkening of the sky that had him out here now. A few days ago he'd found a large tarpauline in the wastelands. A little dirty and rugged, but it would be enough to cover his roof to keep the inside safe and dry. He had found a few unbroken pieces of glass around and had used these to cover the large windows in his home. He didnt have a door yet, but he soon would. Satisfied that it was tied on tight enough, the newly appointed Theta moved away. Stretching his arms high above his head, Saul stretched and groaned. He'd been out here early this morning, trying to figure out a way to keep the inside of his house safe and dry.

His time was his own now and he glanced around once more. Oberon's Spring bubbled softly close by-far enough away to stop from being a flood risk if that ever arose, but close enough that he could look out of his back window and see it out there. It would be a peaceful life once he moved out of the Victorian house. He might even make himself a stable with a paddock for a horse he might, or might now, have. He chuckled softly before trotting closer to the spring. The snow was still brushing the ground, but nothing serious right now. Crouching down, Saul's green eyes watched the fish dart about for a moment, wondering on what his siblings were up to. Ascher had been pretty inactive recently and he wondered where the boy had gotten to.

*rolls over on back* Im sorry for disappearing, forgive meee T_T

Siku would not admit to anyone that the town of Wolfville creeped her out, not did she ever plan to express her unease with the strange place. It wasn't that she was afraid or unfamiliar with the relics of the human age, Siku just felt a little less free when she was close to the skeleton like buildings that she suspected were long ago vacated. She preferred the wilderness, where everything old and forgotten was destroyed as the seasons passed. There were few places in Wolfville that Siku was comfortable lingering in, but over all she was happy to have a home she could call hers. Dahlia was so much more than just pieces of a strange civilization left from another time. It was a beautiful land Siku wanted to spend her life in.

Exploring seemed to be the she wolf's plan for the day, her curiosity bringing her towards a thick forest she knew harbored a spring of water. It had been a while since Siku had eaten, and she hoped to hunt down a rabbit or something else to satisfy her hunger. Golden eyes on the look out for small game, Siku's small paws soundlessly wove her around and under trees. She moved around the branches of trees delicately, as if their iced over twigs might tear her to shreds should she brush against them. Siku was tired of pulling tiny twigs out of her thick fur all the time. As she moved through the woods, Siku spied a small white rabbit already trying to make an escape. With a loud growl, the white wolf gathered up her momentum and sprang from her crouch into a pursuit she planned would end fairly soon.

Siku found herself lagging behind in the chase as she dodged trees and bushes. She growled in frustration, the rabbit almost teasingly kicking up snow as it hopped under and over trees like nothing. 'You little bastard I'm STARVING' Siku cried mentally, dropping all former intentions to stay well groomed as she furiously tore through the fragile trees like they were made of paper. As she predicted, tiny twigs caught in her silky fur as she bounded through the forest like a wolf gone mad, but this time she didn't care in the least. Golden eyes glowing with determination, Siku nearly cried out with delight as she found herself quickly gaining on the rabbit. Strong legs vaulting over a fallen tree, it was Siku's last leap before she would try to get her jaws around the fluffy target.

Siku almost lost her prize, but last second desperation and reflex made her dive forward, seemingly delicate paws snatching up the rabbit harsh enough to break its lightest bones and draw it into her chest at the same time. The landing was hard enough to force Siku into a rolling front flip, a grunt escaping her lips as she quickly recovered. After righting herself, Siku cried out with dismay as her mangled rabbit struggled to get away. How was it still alive?! Siku did not have time to fathom this as she once again took off after what turned out to be a challenging snack. Breaking out of the wood into a clearing, Siku continued to follow the poor rabbit instead of finishing it off like she should have.

"Oh.. Saul?" Siku found herself in front of a strange frame of a house she concluded to be Saul's, Saul himself not too far off from it. Her rabbit was slightly bloodied and had given up near Saul's feet, clearly realizing it hadn't a chance in hell. Siku grinned widely, glad to see her friend again. As she strode nearer to the younger Dahlian, she became sheepish as she realized how pitiful the rabbit must have looked; outrun to death after being mauled. Siku, still in lupus form, crept forward to place a paw on the rabbit; eliciting a weird sound from it that confirmed the rabbit's tragic end. She tilted her head to the side, glancing up at Saul as she smiled meekly. "Um... this is mine.." Siku giggled, sitting on her back legs to lift it up with one paw and measure its weight. She estimated it to be about 10 pounds, healthy and fully grown, a prize indeed. Glancing up at Saul, she smiled again and placed it on the snow once more. "There's enough for me aaand you.. If you clean and cook it.." Siku winked at Saul, hoping for a 'yes'. Siku had never tried cooked meat before, and the thought of trying it was amusing to the young she-wolf.

ooc;; i'm trying to get my muse back! lovely post btw

The fish fascinated the young man as he watched them flit and flirt with each other. Winter was always hard on fish, but that didnt meant they didnt fight back. Supposed to be hibernating, a few smaller fish had worked their way free of winters harsh grip and were frolicking in the cold water. The young Stormbringer gave a little chuckle and moved his legs out from beneath him to sit cross legged on the ground. It was cold on his bum but he didnt have anything to sit on. He needed to figure out what to cover his roof in, but he couldnt get past wood as a base material. Still, that didnt mean there wasnt other forms of roofing around. He just needed to search for it. Stretching his arms above his head, he didnt at first hear the paws against the snow.

The demonic squeal of a rabbit caused him to whip his head round. Green eyes caught sight of Siku, her paws holding a rabbit to the floor. He smiled and stood, shifting quickly down into his lupus form so that they were both on the same level. Moving towards her with a certain happy twinkle in his eye's, cinnamon backed ears perked forward as she spoke to him. He nodded his head softly to the side in acknowledgement of her, but he didnt reply with her name just yet. She seemed to be concentrating on killing this rabbit and he was more than happy to watch her. Seemingly satisfied it was dead she lifted it in her paw and said that it was hers. He gave a soft chuckle as he came to settle a few metres away from her.

"Very good Siku"

He murmered before listening to her ask about cooking it. He would- if he had a fire going or a house to have a fireplace. But unfortunately he had neither. The roll of his shoulders served as a shrug and he shook his head softly to confirm that he meant no. Surely they were okay with eating it like natural wolves? They didnt have to cook their meat, so why should they? Shuffling closer for a moment he liked the female's nose and then looked down at the rabbit.

"I dont have a fire, and my house isn't quite finished. We'll have to eat it as it should be eaten- rare."

He offered with a little chuckle and a nudge towards the rabbit. It was her kill so she should take it first and then they would proceed to rip it apart and eat it. They were very well mannered, it appeared.

Big Grin <3 Sorry this one is shorter!

Siku tilted her head to the side in question, waiting for Saul's response. Golden eyes fluttered in surprise as he licked her small black nose, and she immediately responded with an affectionate but shy lick across his cheek. In an instant her expression of energy changed to a look of dismay as he informed her of their lack of means for a fire. However, Siku did not currently have the motivation needed insist on her request, and her mouth was already beginning to salivate as the larger wolf spoke. The rabbit was already becoming colder upon death, blood leaking into the snow and filling her nose with that deliciously warm scent. Siku's round ears flicked back as she glanced up at Saul, and she spoke softly as she let her slim body relax on the soft snow. "I suppose you are right. Some day, though."

The white wolf set a paw on the rabbit to hold it still as she tore it open, steam rising from the warm flesh as she eagerly tore a chunk off and swallowed it. Siku delicately stripped pieces of meat away from the rabbit, practically inhaling each morsel of bloody goodness until there was a little over half of the rabbit left. She stopped to lick blood away from her right paw, and then pointed her muzzle in the direction of her bloody gift before nudging it openly to the larger wolf. For some reason Siku found herself eager to be offering something to the wolf, and in a fleeting thought she wished she had waited and caught more before finding him. Again, she nudged the meat to Saul and began to eat the bloody snow around the rabbit. The cold snow and warm meat managed to take the edge off her hunger, and the older yet tiny arctic she-wolf rolled over in the snow to stretch in the sun. Pure white fur appeared almost transparent in the light, Siku's fluffy belly exposed in the crisp and chill air as she growled loudly in content and waited for Saul to enjoy her catch.

ooc;; oh my gosh i suck so bad! forgive me?

The young man had had cooked rabbit before- with Tsukiko. For a moment his heart gave a soft twitch in his chest. Thinking about Tsukiko made him sad and he didnt want to be sad. Siku was here now and she was fun and playful and made fire slash down his body. He wasnt too sure about that feeling yet and chose to try and control it. Still, he couldnt help the soft chuckle that caught him in the throat when she gave that shocked little look and then licked him swiftly across the cheek. It made his lips spill upwards in a wide grin as the moved back slightly. Back paws dug into the snow as he watched a flash of disappointment cross her features. If Gideon were here he might be able to make a fire. Soft face hardened as he made a mental note to seek out his obsidian brother and learn the art from the man himself. Still, the white female spoke and his attention was once more pulled swiftly back to her.

"I'm sorry Siku... we could go back into Wolfville and see if anyone has a fire going there maybe..."

He offered, conceding that he might not see his house today. It was almost done and he had finally decided to just use planks of wood as his roofing slats. He just needed to find them and put them on. Then it would be done and he would be free to do as he pleased. Fluffy plume swung behind him and he gave a laugh however as she dug into the rabbit. He was almost tempted to tug it away from her, both playful and surprisingly territorial about a kill that wasnt his. His wolf instinct threatened to take over his new human logic but he held himself back as she tucked in. It was her kill and if he remembered rightly, she had been pretty thin not long ago. Planting his bum on the floor the young Stormbringer watched her eat her food, green eyes both hungry and a small attempt at being reserved. She stopped then, looking up at him. Offering him the other half, the young male was torn between wanting her to have the whole thing and the hunger that knawed at his belly. Conceding to wolf instinct he fell on the rabbit, carefully pulling it apart and stripping the muscle and flesh.

"Thank you Siku... It was wonderful"

He said after he finished the small rabbit off. With a snort of his breath the young man dug his muzzle and paws into the snow, rubbing to get the blood from around his nose and mouth. He didnt like to be unclean at the best of times, and most especially in front of a girl. A woman actually, but that wasnt really the point. When it had almost gotten to the point of rolling in the snow to remove non-existant dirt the young man forced himself to stop. Not infront of Siku. Although his body nearly trembled from the effort of not cleaning himself, the young Theta looked up at the white princess and smiled.

"Have you found anywhere to live yet?"

He asked, curious to see if the wild female had managed to settle in a house yet. She may still be sleeping outside though and Saul shuddered at the thought of it. Almost like Shiloh in a way.

I forgive. <3 *glomp*

Siku enjoyed feeling the suns weak rays warm her satisfied body, if only slightly. She also enjoyed licking the blood away from her paws slowly, remembering her mediocre chase with the animal that now lay in bones in the snow. Siku especially enjoyed spending time with her closest friend. Still laying on her back, Siku twisted about in a strange way to roll on her stomach and peer at the larger wolf with a meek grin. He was thanking her for sharing her rabbit, though Siku felt it wasn't necessary. Saul had been the one to discover her, and though she had said nothing Siku felt she should always be grateful. Golden eyes glittering in the sunlight, Siku rested her head on her front paws and spoke in a voice that expressed contentment and bliss. "No, thank you! I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you."

The white she-wolf's tail swished back and forth as she watched Saul, thoughtful and shy at the same time. She noticed as he cleaned himself of the blood, he seemed to fight the urge to continue grooming himself. Amusement ebbing away timidness, Siku crawled forward on her stomach before rolling around in the snow too. Though Saul had clearly tried his best to clean himself, Siku noticed the slightest smudge of blood along his jawline with a grin. Almost like an attack she bounced on him to do the favor of removing the offending streak of blood, and then bounced away again to inspect the spot meticulously. "Just missed a spot" She sang, giddy and excitable as she smiled at him again.

Hearing his question, Siku was tempted to feign not hearing him and change the subject. She honestly didn't mind sleeping outside, especially on warm nights. Though those were often rare at this time. Feeling rude for the lack of response, the white woman sighed loudly and dropped onto her belly again to relax before answering him. It was as if confessing her wild ways would take a toll on the soft hearted wolf, but rather she was just trying to be dramatic as she spoke in a light tone. "I've told you before, Saul." The way his voice rolled off her tongue, Siku felt different when she said it in such a soft voice. Her heart would give a little squeeze to remind her of its presence, that annoying thing. It fluttered as she rolled over onto her back once again, hiding her lovely face in the snow as she now spoke in a harder, casual tone. "I belong outside, where else would I go?"

Ochre eyes slid from the handsome male's face to his house, though it was more of a frame in progress at the moment. Siku nudged her nose pointedly in that direction as she laughed at herself. "As if I can just create one like you have."

ooc;; congrats on your promotion deary <33

Siku was a peaceful soul to be around, even if they both got a little excited and initiated play more often than not. She was calming and soothing to him and Saul was loathe to not see her. He liked to stick around her and he was glad that she had decided to stay in Dahlia. He had seen more than his fair share of lone wolves attempt to create a home here and give up so easily and leave again. It reminded Saul that Ascher hadnt been seen since before the snow storm and he hoped his youngest brother was okay. He knew he would need to go and find him soon, but the prospect of finishing his house sooner rather than later stilled his search. They were all adults now and Ascher had learnt how to hunt for himself. If he had simply wandered off in search of something more from the world, Saul wouldnt want to drag him back to Dahlia. But the thought of him out there in the freezing snow was something he couldnt shake from his mind. Siku spoke again and it caused a smile to grace the mans lips.

"Always a pleasure, saving the damsel in distress. But I'm glad I found you Siku..."

He spoke before he had time to really understand where they came from and what they meant. Never one to just simply speak what he was thinking, it shocked the Theta into a soft silence. He wasnt used to words coming from his mind without him first analysing what they were and how they would be recieved. Still, there was nothing he could do to control them and they came regardless. Of course, it was at that moment that the streak of white fur bounced towards him, stopping just short of tackling him to the ground. He forced himself to stay still, his playful nature daring him to pounce back. As he muzzle moved closer he fought the urge to turn his head and kiss her properly, totally unsure as to where that impulse came from. He held perfectly still as she licked away a streak of rabbit blood that he had missed, heart hammering against his chest so fast that it almost hurt. He didnt know what he was feeling and he didnt know how to deal with it. After she had removed the streak, she spoke softly, almost a whisper in his ear.

"Why thank you, Miss Siku. Much obliged."

He murmered back, disappointed when she bounced away again. She took the moment to lay down in the snow, resting her stomach from the food she had consumed. He copied her, rolling onto his back so that he left his belly exposed once more. Green eyes looked at the upside-down very of Siku while a strangled chuckle escaped him. She spoke in answer to his question and he grinned up at her. He loved the way his name rolled off her tongue and almost gave a pure of soft delight before he stopped himself. It was hard work, stopping all these impulses and reactions from escaping him and ruining their friendship. He gave an awkward roll of his shoulders in response before speaking, the weight of gravity on his body raising his voice a few octaves.

"You could come and live with me... I have at least three spare rooms."

He offered once more, sure it wasnt the first time. Still, Siku wasnt going to leave it there and Saul gave a soft sigh as she gestured towards his near-completed house and commented that she couldnt possibly make anything like his. Of course, he hadnt made it himself. It was the combined effort of Saluce and his brothers. And him of course. Still, green eyes looked up at gold and he was trying to tell her silently that he was serious about his offer. She could live with him.

Thanks! Siku is one awkward wolf. Sorry for the messiness, I ramble when I'm stoned >< <3 <3

Siku's eyes did not wander as Saul spoke to her, and she smiled shyly as he referred to her as a 'Damsel in distress'. It reminded her of when he had given her the shawl to wear, when he'd found her in the snow bank. The memory made Siku smile wider. Remembering when they were playing like puppies, it made her feel even more shy in front of the larger Dahlian. There was something between them, tension and electricity that Siku couldn't quite understand. It made her want to be around him, all the time. Yet the young woman also felt compelled to run away, and ignore the feelings. It was all so strange to her. She was tempted to nip at him as she licked him, and she could sense he was restraining himself from moving as well. Her golden eyes stared up at him shyly as she pulled away, and Siku tilted her head to the side as he thanked her. I swear, how can someone be so polite?!. It was charming, granted, but made her feel rude in comparison. Siku certainly wasn't rude, and that was what made it weird. Saul was as pure as her fur.

Still on her back, Siku's slender maw stayed focused on her companion as she watched him roll over as well. His gorgeous green eyes seemed to take on a new dimension in the sun, and at first Siku simply stared at him mutely. Her own golden eyes glittered as she spoke about his house, her eyes shifting as well as her head to peek at the frame with upside down vision. It didn't seem to bother the pale furred woman, but after a moment of staring at the structure she rolled over to see the world properly again. Saul shrugged lazily, still on his back as he opened his maw to bring up a question Siku had ignored in the past. Golden eyes met green as they stared at each other, the question hanging in the air once again. His handsome face was as serious as she had ever seen him, and the white wolf glanced down with hesitation. His gaze made her heart race. He was asking her to stay with him.

It wasn't that Siku didn't want to accept, and she was aware of how rude it was; her delayed response. Her pale face was unusually blank, and as serious as Saul's as she sighed very softly. "I wouldn't wanna be a burden.. but I'm glad you found me, too. More so than you, I'm sure." Siku was nearly whispering, her eyes still averted. "I'm sorry it took me so long to tell you," The female continued on, knowing her words would make the wolf uncertain of her answer. "It was rude of me to ignore you the last time you asked." Siku finally brought her eyes back to Saul, not afraid to look now. She knew what she would say all this time, it was insecurity that confused her. Siku thought he had only felt sorry for her, but much more than pity laid in the eyes she met with a smile. At least, that is what the white she-wolf had come to interpret. It couldn't have been only her that felt so crazy inside when they were together. Of course, Saul could have just been a really, really nice guy. He truly was.

As Siku had opened her maw to speak, nothing came out. So much was running through the thoughtful soul's head, so many weird possibilities and questions and urges that made her forget her words. "I don't want to intrude, especially if there's a.. mate involved?" The woman mumbled lamely, knowing it sounded stupid. He was her age, and she certainly never had a love interest before. Siku didn't know though, it could have been different in Dahlia. Maybe he was building his marvelous looking house for his lady. The thought bothered the woman, but she didn't let the thought linger as she laughed. "I'm kidding, you probably don't have one yet. I would love to live with you if it's okay. Siku said this quickly, trying to add it in before he could respond to her previous comment. How smart of me.. Siku thought miserably, feeling more and more shy by the minute.

ooc;; no worries sweets! sorry my post doesnt match yours!

Silence hung in the air as the two wolves lay on their backs and stared at each other. In the semi-sunlight her golden eyes twinkled and Saul was captured for a moment. Unable to look away he didnt realise that Siku was staring back at him, quite easily with the same expression on her face. The desire to allow his pink tongue to lash out and swip her lips was something so overwhelming he could stop it. Pink tongue darted forward to catch both her nose and her top lip. Of course, they had shared licks before and he could easily pass this off as the same affectionate greeting he had given her when he had seen her with the rabbit trapped beneath her. To him it felt different though and he knew he was standing on very shaky ground right now. Before he had time to analyse this she rolled over onto his stomach, righting her sight. He copied, laying in the snow with the white she-wolf in front of him. She seemed very uncertain of her answer and he remained silent as she mulled it over.

Her words were exceptionally careful as she began to say whatever she was going to. She returned his words of being pleased to find her. It was almost like the first time they'd met- golden eyes averted so that there wasnt even a possibility of meeting them, voice barely above a whisper. Of course, the young Theta was confused where she was going with this. She was pleased he had found her, but she was also sorry that she hadnt told him. Told him what? Confused almost turned into an infuriating frustration, but she spoke often enough to keep him from interupting. She finally said that she was rude last time for not answering and then finally brought her eyes to meet him. Compassion was running high in his eyes as he looked towards her. He had no idea which way this was going to go. Still, she seemed very upset by her apparent rudeness that Saul wanted to say something to her before she went on.

"Its okay Siku... I know I shouldn't have been so forward! But I know you better, and I hope you know me better..."

He said, voice small and a little pleading. Of course, in reality they knew very little about each other- who they were and where they came from and what had happened to them in their short lives. But they knew each other on a subconscious level, a level that was very hard to gain access to. Instinct told them that they knew each other, knew their responses and limitations. Still, he needed to stop thinking about it as Siku took a breath to speak again. They wouldnt be able to move in for another week or so- he planned to move into the house on March 16th, his year mark. So maybe they could get to know each other better by then. A snort rang clear as Siku spoke of a mate and he was shaking his head in disbelief even as she continued to say she was joking. Heart raced as he waited for her answer, green eyes dipped just in case. The grin that broke out on his face was priceless as he shuffled forward to playfully tug on her ear. It was an easy move and Saul let go quickly.

"Of course its okay with me! Its wonderful! Thank you..."

He spoke the last words seriously before he rolled over onto his back and playfully pawed at Siku's muzzle. Perhaps this was the start of something special, he didnt know. He would have liked to have thought so.

Quality not Quantity Wink And you are a very good writer so it's all good.

Saul snorted in response to Siku's hesitant question, and immediately there was a tug on her heart. He was, as she first thought, single and asking her to live with him. After she finally said yes, bright eyes carefully studying his, she witnessed an expression of pure joy as the larger wolf leaped forward to playfully tug on her ear. Caught up in the happiness that radiated from Saul, Siku giggled and snapped her teeth loudly in reaction to his nip before crouching to tackle. Bum in the air, she tilted her pale face to the side as he thanked her once again. Always thanking her! "No way, Thank you!" She replied sincerely, the sound a playful growl as he rolled over to paw at her face. Siku didn't end up pouncing to tackle, bum lowering as she laid down in front of the larger Dahlian.

He was so.. so.. happy making. Saul made her smile, and feel special. There was no fear or uneasiness when she was with him. Dahlia felt like home, and it was the right place to be when Saul was around. Maybe she would not be travelling outside the borders so much, if she lived with him. Or exploring all over the place like the wanderer she used to be. The thought of not moving around as much didn't bother Siku as much as she thought it would. Her eyes strayed to Saul's house; it would be awhile before anyone would inhabit that structure. Siku looked forward to being rooted to one spot though, it would give her a chance to become integrated into the pack properly. She knew.. no one, really. Saul. Conor. Nayru. And she know of a few of the wolves. That was it. She would definitely become better acquainted in the future. Surely she wasn't the only one drawn to the sweet heart laying beside her.

Siku stared into Saul's green eyes for a moment, thoughtful and timid. Without thinking too much of it, she leaned forward to return his previous kiss with a sweet hesitation at the last second. Adrenaline coursed through her veins as she laughed and turned her face away quickly. It was unchartered territory for the both of them, Siku suspected. Then she nipped his cheek playfully to follow the bold (for her) move, laying down on her stomach to watch him with a shy grin that was hidden beneath a paw.

There, it was done. He had a room mate and he really liked the female who had accepted him in his offer of a place to stay. She might be perfectly content with sleeping outside in the open air but Saul wasnt so happy about it. She might catch a cold and die from hypothermia or some other illness he did not yet know the name of. It was a disaster out there for most of them and the inside was mostly kind of safe. Of course, Saul's usually logical mind completely missed the part where wolves lived in the wild for thousands of years before they grew up on two legs and ruled the world. They were hardy and sturdy animals and there was really no need to live in houses. But it was something that humanisation had brought with them- the need to be civilised and perceived as such. One of the was they did this was living in houses and dressing in human clothes.

Another thought struck him then, almost in the same milisecond that the last one had gone. What was he going to do about his empty house. He had nothing to his name- just a some clothes, a dagger, a red travelling cloak and a tiny golden harp that he had never learned to play. It was adorably small but perhaps a little impractical. Still, he had no bed for Siku or himself and he had no furniture like a sofa or a table. The outside of his house was almost done, but the inside was going to have to have a lot of work done to it. Her words caught him and Saul allowed a mischevious grin to take over his lips. He supposed he better warn her now while she still had time to turn him down. It was then that he noticed the playful stance to her and his heartbeat kicked up a notch. He couldnt explain it, thats just the way it was. She thanked him and he chuckled, pawing again and her muzzle and chin.

"I must warn you though- its empty inside. Its more of a work in progress kind of home..."

He admitted, hoping beyound hope that she would be willing to stay even if he couldnt offer her a proper bed to sleep in. They would find something things and he was getting better at wood working to make bedframes and other things such as tables. He was sure they could work it out together. Worry knotted in his stomach that he tried to surpress. Of course, it unknotted immediately as green eyes locked with gold. Her moved her head down and he froze, his heartbeat leaping into his throat as her tongue swept over his lips. He wanted to return the affection but instead wormed his way forward (still belly up) and nuzzled her neck softly. It was quite obviously more than friendship right now, but they were both too inexperianced and young to understand that. Perhaps when they grew up a bit they would realise the licks and cuddles meant something to both of them.

A loud, girlish laugh escaped Siku's slender maw as she rolled over onto her back, joining him. Saul was warning her about his lack of furniture? Like she would possibly rethink her commitment because of this. 'Such materialistic wolves, these Easterners!' Siku's golden eyes could see right through Saul's though, and she traced genuine worry as well as hope. "You really think I care about what's inside?" Siku grinned at the male, both wolves still on their back. With her thick white paws tucked into her chest in a puppy like fashion, the girl looked so young in comparison to the larger wolf. "I have never slept in a house before, I have no expectations. Silly." Siku nipped at Saul's shoulder, as if that would make him realize she meant it.

The pale faced Dahlian simply laid there for a moment, staring over at her companion. Whenever their eyes met, Siku would get this flutter in her chest. It made her want to look away, or stare for a little longer- at the same time. He always made her feel that way, conflicted between actions. Siku was only a little aware of this, and only enough to make the situation even more confusing. 'I suppose this is what they call a 'crush',' Siku thought silently to herself, her face giving nothing away as she smiled innocently at Saul. 'How come, I wonder? I don't feel crushed, I feel like ..' A look of uncertainty crossed her face as she thought about it for a moment. Really thought about it. Even questioning her emotions, she could not answer herself. Everything was so new. Realizing how quiet she had become, Siku rolled over onto her stomach. Saul was still on his back, and the white woman inched forward to nuzzle his neck, only slightly hesitant. It was becoming normal to express her affection for the kind hearted wolf.

"I would live with you, even if all you had to offer was a burrow in the ground." Siku murmured, her soft voice even softer beside his ear. "That's what we wolves used to do, you know." She added teasingly, nipping at Saul's ear. It was true, both statements. The white Dahlian would live anywhere the green eyed wolf asked her to. She could hardly believe that he asked her in the first place, and the fact that he was worried about not having furniture made her laugh again. "But don't worry, our new house will be even better. With or without things inside, It doesn't matter." Siku glanced up at Saul shyly. "As long as you're there."

He was really going to have to talk to Conor about his heart. The young Stormbringer male was beginning to really worry about it- it was flipping and squeezing all over the place and he wasnt sure that was healthy. For example, as cinnamon backed ears cupped forward to catch her delicate and golden laugh his heart seemed to summersault in his chest. Now that wasnt normal. Trying to calm himself he watched as she rolled over onto her back, exposing her pink stomach to the world and to him. This was getting ridiculous. With her golden eyes and her long lashes batting at him the young male couldnt think straight and he was getting seriously worried that he'd caught some kind of illness that affected his heart. It was out of control and he didnt know what to do about it. But he knew Siku would take offense if he bolted off to find the autumn hued Alpha to talk about some illness he may or may not have had. She spoke then and distracted him from thoughts of scooting his ass over some hill and far away. He grinned then, watching her tuck her front legs up against her chest as he had once done.

"Oh alright, alright! I was just worried is all! It can be out little project if you like!"

He offered, still not fully able to get rid of the nugget of doubt in his belly. He would be much better in a few weeks time when it was all finished and they were moving in. They could talk to each other properly then and she would have a roof over her head. It made him feel a lot better about this whole thing, knowing he had to build his house for another person, not just himself. It would get him more motivated to furnish it and he would want to do it better than he would if it was just for himself. Feeling a sense of relaxation and happiness settle over him he didnt even think about moving when Siku nuzzled closer. Instead he rested his head softly against hers and breathed in her scent in a deep breath. Soon they would smell very similar to each other, living in the same hous and spending a lot of time with each other. Of course he didnt count on the flash of fire that raced down his body when her husky voice sounded so close to his ear. It settled in his groin and Saul hoped Siku didnt look down any time soon. He was almost certain he was revealing a little too much of himself. Before she could see he rolled over so he was on his stomach, hiding the source of his heat beneath him. He had managed to keep himself face to face with her and rubbed his face against hers softly.

"Well perhaps we can burrow under the house for times we want to feel a little more wild! And thank you for saying that Siku, I'm so glad I found you"

He breathed, chuckling as she playfully tugged his ear. Tongue swiped out to catch her ear as well before she spoke once more. His throat was caught once more in a battle and he couldnt speak for a moment. Was this what true friendship was? Or was it something more than neither youngster was willing to acknowledge let alone admit. He smiled instead, tongue swiping once more across her nose, slower this time. Green eyes caught gold and he huffed a breath softly, unsure of what to say.

"I couldn't do it without you Siku. I wouldn't want to... not if you weren't there."

Our little project. Siku smiled at the thought, imagining herself and the handsome wolf laying beside her. They would soon be creating a home together. Her first real home. Heart still fluttering, Siku glanced up at Saul as she smiled a little wider. The white she-wolf could not believe the situation, nor the sharp turn her life had taken. Not too long ago, it seemed, Siku was pack-less. She had no home, no family, no friends. Nothing to work towards in life, or care for really. In just a few short months the young wolf was accepted into Dahlia, made numerous friends and now had a home to share with her best friend. It was almost too good to be true, and the golden eyed princess felt as if her chest would burst. There was happiness, excitement, curiosity and hope. The over whelmed wolf barely noticed as Saul rolled over, once again lost in her thoughts. There was so much to think about, process and speculate. However, as consumed as the woman was, she politely shut her inner voices up and glanced up at Saul with interest.

Perhaps we can burrow under the house. Siku's light laugh was melodic as it escaped her, and she nuzzled Saul's nose with her own before stopping to giggle again. He had suggested burrowing under their new house, and the woman was amused by this comment. With a voice that expressed smugness but also a light teasing tone, Siku pointed her nose up and away from the young man. ''Well.. I've done it before, and it is in fact very snuggly underneath at night!'' Another laugh bubbled forth as Siku recalled that night. She'd tried sleeping inside the scrapped houses of Wolfville, but it felt awkward. The white princess was happy to crawl into the space beneath the building she couldn't sleep soundly inside. She even slept like a baby. Thoughts wandering again, Siku slid her gaze back to the handsome male and grinned. ''I'm sure we'll have plenty to do inside, though.'' There was a flirtatious edge to her assurance, though Siku wasn't fully aware. There was a side to her that just seemed to grow and want to tease the somewhat shy young man in front of her. As he added the last part of that statement, Siku smiled. He was so sweet, and he made her feel like he truly would be lost had he not found her. It was good, because the feeling was mutual.

Siku sobered her playful attitude as the cinnamon eared licked her nose again, and she leaned forward to nuzzle him again as he pulled away from the innocent kiss. What the two wolves found in each other was important and not to be under estimated, Siku could feel it. When he found her in the snow months in the past, she found her new life. The Dahlian had given that to her, and with a kindness that never seemed to ebb. He had so much to give, and he gave it all without hesitation. The young woman yearned to return the favour, with an almost guilty feeling. It was hard not to feel like a bother, when she truly did not have anything to offer but her own company. With what seemed to be perfect timing, the words that left his lips immediately set the woman at ease. They needed each other. Up until now it was really just her depending on Saul, but that could change. Would change. Siku wanted to be able to repay the wolf for all that he had done for her. "I don't have anything to bring into this but myself.. But.." Golden eyes were steady on Saul as she spoke, her voice soft with sincerity. "I care about you, Saul. You make me happy. And I'm going to do all that I can.. To make sure you are happy too. As happy and as content as I am." The woman smiled shyly, her heart beating like crazy in her chest. Their friendship was so easy going, playful and comforting. Yet it had such a serious side to it that Siku was trying to grasp.

Her peals of laughter were like sweet honey to his ears and he settled against the grass, content to listen to them until he was lost or completely head over heels. He didnt know this feeling, he didnt understand why his heart threatening to burst out of his chest or claw its way out of his throat all at the same time. It was strange and it was scary. But when he was with her, it was like he couldnt do anything. He felt as though his spirits lifted when he saw the flash of white and gold that announced her presence. He couldnt explain it no, but he could enjoy it until he died. Or something to that standard at least. Her little nose darted between his thick fur, a nuzzle that he would return with slow seriousness. He couldnt help the chuckle that quickly developed to a full blown laugh as she mentioned about doing it before.

"Well I have to believe it when I see it! I cant imagine the underneath of a house would be very secure!"

He could just imagine it, the shaky remains of a house above you, threatening to fall down and crush you beneath it. He was gripped with a sudden fear then that, in the time it took for him to finish his house she would be buried beneath the foundations of a shaky house. Fear and panic rose in his eyes at the imaginary scene and his heart ached as though he had lost her. His panic cleared with her flirtatious words but he still cast a wary glance around, making sure there was no danger out there that could get her. She was his best friend and he wanted to make sure that she was okay. Of course, even he couldnt push down the feelings of fire that once again raced down his body, settling in groin area. He might have to talk about that with Conor as well. That certainly wasnt normal. Of course this time Saul was on his front and the embarrassing repercussions of that fire were hidden beneath him.

"I'm sure we will..."

He didnt understand the husky deepness of his voice, the flirtatious suggestion in what he said. They were so young and inexperianced, but their subconscious was breaking through so that their words were laced with innuendo and double meaning. It was unfortunate that then she chose to properly nuzzle him and the male almost choked as that fire intensified. He pushed it down, head shaking softly to brush with hers. It would soon be time to leave if he wasnt careful and in all truths he was getting really freaked out about his bodily reactions. Heart palpatations and a fire in his groin that was only intensifying. Surely he was dying? He forced himself to concentrate on her words, wondering how he was going to extract himself from the situation without offending his best friend. Of course, as he concentrated on the words he felt a tug at his lips that he couldnt resist.

"I care a lot about you too Siku... You're my best friend and just being around you makes me happy. I can't wait for us to move in together..."

He returned the sentiment, both unaware that the words he was saying were usually reserved for mates only. Still, both of them saw nothing wrong in living together- they were best friends afterall.

"It's secure! As secure as standing inside the house anyway." Siku mumbled in reply, not quite noticing Saul's distress at the thought. As he spoke once more, the sound of his voice sent a pleasant tremble through the slender woman's body. He made her feel so special, and different. There was something about the handsome male that made her feel like something was missing. She wanted him closer, much closer. Golden eyes could not meet Saul's as she glanced down, flushed. Her thoughts were jumbled, and she felt a little dazzled. Just the thought of being closer to him.. Siku enjoyed the idea of it more than she thought she should.

As he nuzzled her back, Siku could sense that the feeling was mutual. He was having just as much trouble with their situation, and understanding it. She could see it in his eyes, a spark that could easily turn to a flame. With another tingle, the alabaster wolf buried her face in his neck. She could not look at the man, not when strange thoughts would not leave her mind. She had the urge to be closer, but only granted herself the snuggle of her muzzle at his neck. It was affectionate, but still innocent. Siku was nervous to be crossing his boundary. Did he have one? Siku thought she did.. But with the cinnamon eared Dahlian it seemed that line disintegrated into a big welcome sign. She would do anything he wanted, she was putty in his hands by now. The best part of falling for Saul unknowingly, Siku did not worry even once about what she was getting into. The larger, kind hearted wolf would not hurt her no matter what happened. She knew, with a certainty that comforted her often.

"No.. You're my best friend." Siku corrected the man teasingly, her golden eyes looking up at him again. She grinned, giving him a big sloppy kiss on the nose to bother him. As he mentioned moving in together, excitement grew for the woman. It would be nice, living with someone. Siku knew for sure Saul would be there for her, always, now. "We'll see if you can handle me 24/7!" The snow furred princess hadn't a clue what the others in their pack would think, including Conor, but she was happy. They were happy. Even if neither truly understood what their actions meant, they did it out of care for each other. That was the point right?

ooc;; end thread soon? we can has another in the house! <33

She seemed defensive about her choice of sleeping arrangements and Saul couldnt help the laughter that came from him. It was just so easy to be around her that he didnt think about the sounds he made or anything like that. A simple shake of his head indicated that he had no more to say on the subject of sleeping under houses instead of in them. Of course, he wasnt unused to sleeping outdoors. Two months of it had seen him with enough outdoor skills to last a lifetime. He just preferred to have a house with his own room where he could do whatever he wanted without being judged. Like his morning rituals. It stabbed him then that she might find him weird. Pushing it down, he snuggled closer as the white wolf buried herself in his neck. He was happy to lay there, breathing deeply the scent that he would most certainly be used to in a few weeks.

Her words were sweet, if the slobery lick to the nose was anything to go by. A loud 'yuck' emmited from the boy as he rubbed his saliva drenched nose into the white womans coat. Let her keep her spit, thank you. She spoke once more and Saul gave a soft roll of his shoulders. "I'm not so easy to be around all day every day. We'll see if you can still put up with me, eh?" He teased, teeth nibbling gently on her ear where he'd reached up to capture it. They would be roomates soon- they would know the ins and outs of one anothers lives. Still, they wouldnt be if he didnt get this roof finished. With a heart sigh he stretched and stood.

"Come on Miss Siku. You can help me carry this wood over for our roof."

He said, shifting up till he had opposable thumbs and could scoop up most of the wood he'd dropped earlier. They would fix the house up good and proper, if he had any say in the matter. A teasing smile was given to the white wolf as he moved off, wood swinging behind him in a fake attempt to knock her over.
