Honey sucks, but its up now! <33

The winds had bypassed their usually playful nature, the blasting of cold air becoming a constant whipping of hair and fur. It was merciless, carrying bucket loads of snow and throwing it with a vengence in the eyes of those brave enough to get out. The houses in the main street of Dahlia had begun to groan ominously, their ancient structures threatening to topple under the weight of both wind and snow. It had started last night, the snow falling thick and fast. It wasnt going to stop for anyone. They had had a brief reprieve this morning when the wind had died enough for the snow to falling in soft sheets instead of harsh lashes against the face. Saul had been out this morning, tying the tarpauline tighter around the exposed roof of his cabin. It was waterproof, but he had yet been able to decide what to make the roof out of. It took him until about midday to get out there and back, the snow pulling heavily against him, determined to ruin his house.

By this point, the usually calm and reserved Theta was pissed off. Though mostly calm and relaxed, there were things that really got on the mans nerves. And vicious snow that decided to stop him from getting where he was going was really irritating. So when he finally snapped and lashed at the snow, it really wasnt much of a surprise. It had taken a lot, but Saul had finally had enough. Shifting into his stronger Secui form, he launched himself into the snow he was practically buried in, snapping at the persistent shaking of snow on his head. No-one had really begun to worry about the amount of snow and the force of the wind, but it wouldnt be long.

A weary exhaustion had rushed over him as he finally got to the streets of Wolfville. The old road had made the snow much more level than the surronding areas and he moved swiftly towards the old Victorian house that was his home until further notice. When he'd left this morning, he'd heard Shiloh's soft knock on their aunts door and the two had retreated into the older womans room. He assumed Eclipse would be with her mother, but it was increasingly difficult to keep tabs on the young female these days. She was mischevious, much worse than either Range or Melee. He would, however, assume she was being held hostage by her mother and cousin for at least a little longer. He paused outside the front.

A creaking sound had come to his attention. For the moment he couldnt place it. Shifting easily into his Optime form he looked around, deft hands testing the fence around the building to see if it was sound. The crack was the only warning Saul got before he glanced back. The large tree that Ascher had once woken up in was tipping. Weighed down with so much snow, the old bough had finally succumbed to the weight after a helpful shove from a malignant gust of wind. Green eyes watched in horror as it fell directly towards the old mansion. He didnt even have time to warn his relatives. The crunch and smash of wood against wood made the young man flinch back. It was at that moment that a large branch broke away, falling to the ground. He turned back, hearing a yelp from beneath it. Who was that?

"Bris? Shiloh? Eclipse?"

The young man roared, trying to sheild his eyes from falling snow, leaves and branches. The way the tree had fallen, it was propped against the destroyed house. Of course, it was an old tree and one of the main branches had been jolted too many time to hang on. It had dropped and caught someone beneath it- that would have been the yelp he heard. Torn in two directions- Saul stood there for a moment, trying to hear sounds of life coming from the old, destroyed, Victorian house.

WC: 301 OOC: WEEEE First Eclipse post ^^

She had no idea what was going on. Normally she would be out exploring and having a little fun before her mommy brought her back, but today… today she didn’t need to be forced to stay at home. She was right in between her mother’s legs the whole time. It seemed like the best place for her but mommy didn’t think so. Eclipse was scared of the wind, was it suppose to howl? Why was it allowed to sound like a wolf? Why was it angry? Did they make it angry? She had so many questions. Questions she wasn’t willing to voice quite yet. She was huddled next to her mommy when she heard it. First it was a creak, or a moan, yes it was a moan, someone must be sick… but then there was the cracking, Eclipse had never heard a sound like that… and it was deafening, then suddenly the whole house shook and she hid her face whimpering. Yes she was cowering, the puppy who was fearless was cowering from the invisible enemy called the wind. She couldn’t help but be scared of this… anything else was nothing, but the wind and the snow, and that terrible crash… what had happened? Did the wind make that sad noise or was someone upstairs? Then she heard a familiar voice and sat up. She knew exactly who that was!

Mommy is Saul, whas he doin here?

Eclipse said. Her tail twitching a little but it stayed hanging between her legs, though her big puppy ears were straight up, looking for another sign of her cousin. She wouldn’t be calling out to him, though she wanted to, he did call out his name, but the adults could handle it. She just wanted to stay by her mommy and feel safe.

The winter weather had really hit Dahlia De Mai. As usual, the woman could be found in the living quarters or lounge room of Conor’s reside, mulling over thoughts of moving out very soon and how she would want her living quarters decorated, if she ever got that far. However, over the past month as her body was inflating itself to a natural healthy weight balance you could have found her prancing about almost everywhere intent on meeting new faces and expanding her friendship tree. Cercatori d'Arte and Anathema members had treated her well, and she intended to return sometime – especially to seek out the company of Ouija once more perhaps, of whom her meeting with had maybe gone a little too well to be healthy.

Her birthday was soon, and as the girl was rising 2 years of age she clarified it was only right she started to live off her own bat, fully for once. Her dream little cottage with floral decoration lingered beautifully in her imagination, with conscience that it may not be far away – that was if any buildings survived the storm that was so brutally thrashing its rage on her home lands. She turned to glance outside and only witnessed what could literally be described as a whiteout with flock after flock of tender snowflakes being flattened by cruel gusts relentlessly upon the old window, making the house shake and groan eerily in its aged foundations. She pulled herself off the couch, and exited the front door in a quick attempt to stretch her legs. Outside was freezing cold, with Shay wrapping her arms around her torso and rubbing her sides energetically in an attempt to keep her body temperature up. It was impossible to see more than a few feet in front of anything, and gold eyes squinted determined to find a possible path but saw nothing. Something just wasn’t right.

The woman had witnessed her fair share of snow in her short time on this earth – but nothing ever remotely similar to these conditions. Realisation she was being buried alive in the storm the woman turned and headed for the front door seeking refuge… but then it all happened so fast. The deep groan and ear-splitting crack of wood was the only signal for the woman to escape but within that fraction of a moment the opportunity had passed. Shay turned only to be consumed in fear as a dark silhouette hurtled towards her and in a feeble attempt to dodge she bolted for the door two seconds too late. A deafening crack and thunderous crash filled the air as the old tree collided with the house and sent one of its arms down as if the tree was determined to take her down with it, pinning her helplessly underneath its crushing weight. A sickening splintering of her bones with a sharpened branch drilling through her shoulder and the woman released a blood-curdling scream enveloped in excruciating pain. Claustrophobia set in, her claws desperate they screeched along the bark to relieve its flattening weight and remnants of the once glorious now shattered Victorian House descended in rubble clumps. ”no, no NO” she panted, ”Somebody help me...Please!” petrified her body was moments away from being totally crushed.
