Sepirah knew that she had to pick up her slack and get back to work on her duties so she could regain her higher rank. She wanted to prove to her alphas that she could do her work now with little distractions. She of course knew she wanted to have some time to herself so she could do some personal things, but she knew she had to do something or she feared someone was going to get ahead of her. The dark princess did not want to let her ambition go to her head, but what else could she do? She had to do something if she wanted to secure her position in the ranks. The jackal paused as she woke up in the morning. She was glad that the winter time was coming to an end and soon spring would be here. She stretched out her limbs in her den before she trotted out and went on her way. She was sure there was going to be no one along the borders so she figured she could go out looking for some food to provide for the pack. Perhaps she could call some of the other scouts over if she spotted something.

Sepirah headed along the west side of the territory as she looked for some prey. There didn’t seem to be much out seeing as there was still snow covering the ground. She came to Devil’s Demesne and pushed her muzzle into the air and she sniffed around. She thought she had caught something but she wasn’t all too sure. She didn’t crouch yet but she kept her ears and eyes on alert. The jackal could feel the snow clinging to her paws as she walked along. She shook her paws to get the snow off. She could not wait for the snow to be go forever and the flowers would return.

He toddled along on his stumbling bumbling way, every so often he tripped over his own paws or a particularly stubborn bit of twig, his tiny voice growling his displeasure every time he fell to the ground. The Tirones Minor bounded happily through the snow and the dead foliage, his one torn ear that hadn't fully stood up yet flapping with his gait and the wind. He was happy for once, as happy as he had been when Kain had come to collect him or when Kain had brought him to Kaena, he liked Inferni, no one beat him or scratched or bit, not with hatred in their eyes and murder in their soul. Makhesthai was very easily pleased for the moment, this was the best time he had ever known in his short few months of life.

He wasn't sure how far he had gone from Kaena's den but he was sure he could find his way back with ease, he could smell his own paws on the snow and if his nose failed then he could follow his tracks. A quick scurrying caught his attention, and his oversized ear jerked upright and began rotating, he dropped his forepaws to the ground, slowly following the sound of the small rodent and trying to be as quiet as possible. He followed the small fuzzy until he could hear its squeaks, unknowing that the rodent's trail was leading him closer to the female Jack/Coybrid. Suddenly he pounced and caught the mouse between his jaws and crushed the life from the small mammal like he had done the day he met Kaena, its squeals dieing almost instantly. He ate the small fuzzy quickly, unknowing if out here someone would take it from him, it was only then that he noticed the female.

He stood still for a moment, unknowing what to do, he looked around as if he could run or hide but his reddy-orange coat stood out like blood on the snow on a sunny day. Swallowing his fear of all things female, an assumption forced onto him by his hateful mother and took a few steps forwards, noting that like Kaena she had a splash of red on her muzzle, he hoped this meant that they were similar,

"H...hi there miss. What are you called?" he tried not to show his fear but he couldn't help the small tremor that shook through his body

ooc: Sorry for the wait. WC: 303

Sepirah sighed as she continued to wander around the borders. She really wished there was something more she could do to help the pack and prove to her leaders that she was worth of the leader rank in her tier. She was sure it would take a bit more time for her to get that high, but as long as she kept to her duties, then she would be there soon. The dark princess sniffed the air as maybe there was something other than trespassers. She wondered if maybe there was some prey nearby that she could scout out and then send a hunting party later. The dark princess placed her nose to the ground as she tried to sniff out some prey in the area. She wasn’t having too much luck finding anything. She let out a soft sigh as she continued to walk. She figured that once the warm weather returned, so would the prey and the clan being able to have a clan hunt.

Sepirah paused as caught the scent of Inferni coming towards her. She wondered if some of the other members of the pack were coming to help her out on her patrol. She looked out of the corner of her golden eyes as she noticed the orange coyote coming towards her. The dark princess did not recognize this male and wondered if he was a new comer. She gave him a small smile as he spoke. She turned around to face him and was a bit confused as to why he was shaking. She lowered her rear down and flicked her tail gently back and forth. ”Hello there young one. I am called Sepirah Jendayi Lykoi.” She smiled more as she looked down to the coyote’s bright blue eyes. ”And what may I call you?”

The female smiled at him, albeit a small one and Makhesthai relaxed enough to stop his terrified shaking. He moved a bit closer to her but stopped at a comfortable distance away, copying her moments and sitting down. His tail thumped once against the floor as she said hello. He already liked her even though he didn't know her that well. His blue eyes looked over her as she introduced herself, she was lots of different gray colors a stark contrast to his blazing orange fur, her eyes were twin pools of amber light that shone out from her elegant looking face, the red of her muzzle and the yellow of her eyes were pretty much the only colors on her that stood out from her pelt.

At the word 'Lykoi', his tattered ear pricked as best it could. Maybe this was one of the children that Kaena had talked about, or one of the grandchildren although he still didn't fully understand what they were, he hoped that she would play with him if he asked. He ducked his head and grinned shyly at her, the muscle in his one ear tired and its tip curled back over on itself, the stump of his missing ear swiveled around.

"Sepirah is a nice name, very pretty like you, I like it. My name is Makhethai... " He hesitated for a second, how would she react to him being a Lykoi? " ... Lykoi. Is Kaena your Moma too?" The woman smelt strongly of Inferni whereas his was still very faint, she had been in Inferni for a great length of time, at least it was a great length of time to him. He shifted nervously as he waited for her reaction, his tail thumped again against the floor in a short twitch showing his apprehension
