Out of Character

WC: 333 OOC: OMG Bao I kept reminding myself I swear, “post, damn it” but I never did… till now, anyways this is Predated to February 25 if that’s ok with you!

In Character

Shaw was wore out, and simply did not feel like repairing anything at all right at that moment. He’d been doing it almost non stop since the storm abated and they were finally able to get out. He’d fixed Orin’s shutters a while ago, made sure the stables were livable, fixed up a small place for Valinta and a few other s to stay. It was just the worst time in the world to have begun a pack. Early fall was not a good time to start something like this, but it had been done and if he ever had plans of making another pack, which he had no such thoughts, he would remind himself that he would have to do it early summer. That way they would be fully ready for this horrible weather that the north brought in.

Instead of actually hammering in nails in a piece of wood, he was carving. He was trying to rebuild the collection of things that he had lost in the storm. His project today could be seen as just one of many figurines he had. Well would have eventually. It was just a small figure of a butterfly. Something he did out of memory, he did not have any books with thim, though he could easily find one in Orin’s shop but that wasn’t neither here nor there. He was just working on something he felt would become beautiful or horrific, either way he’d stll have enjoyed making it. He spent most of his time just outside on sky’s porch relaxing on the steps. It was one of his annoying things he tended to do to Sky he was sure of it, but she didn’t really show it. He was daydreaming about the wedding he was about to have… well in the future, he was engaged to Sky, though he didn’t know what that meant or what privileges it gave him, but it did make him feel good inside for whatever reason there was.

Sooo sorry! D: I've been slacking on internet things and now my friend is coming over, sooo sorry. Never meant to leave this for so long! :c On another note, amg everything is so greeeeen!

He was going to have a massive headache soon, he could feel it too clearly, what started out as a slight tap tap was now a great throbbing in his skull. It was probably from all this walking he did nowadays as everything was the same whenever he ventured out and one could grow sick of the same thing once in a while. Yes, blame everything on walking, that was the ticket. Pounding in his head aside the boy was actually enjoying the walk despite the cold that may still have clung in the day's air.

The occasional sound of sticks snapping under the wolf's weight seemed to be the only sound the filled the quiet air, it was funny. One would come to assume that the lands would be filled with laughter and merry music seeing as what this pack stood for, but no the snow seemed to silence everything it touched. Turning everything into a silent wonderland. Long tracks now dotted the wonderland as skinny feet moved uprooting the snow carving a record of where the musician was headed.

White air puffed out of his mouth that he seemed to have been holding forever, how he disliked seeing his breath. Well, how he disliked the cold period. It be him bitter, more bitter than he already was for his age. Another puff this time followed by an irritated growl. That's why he held his breath. Though, there was nothing much he could do about it, was there? He needed to breath after all. Ears folded back and he snorted at the thought before he stopped in his tracks taking a look around. Sharp eyes scanned the area for a while before pinpointing a familiar figure in the distant. Although, it was obstructed by the house it sat on, so his assumption of who it was could have been wrong.

His pace now picked up again and a bit faster this time, too. If his guess was right he'd be very much happy as he felt rather relaxed in the other's company, of course he'd never admit such happiness, oh no. As the figure grew closer he knew his guess was right and his tail swished to and fro a couple of times before he stopped in front of the porch.

"Shawchert," Bao greeted.

OOC: man... I’m sorry that this sucks :/ I did try... and the lateness is pretty bad too ;;

he continued to work on his project when he saw someone move through the snow, he ignored this, however, until the man came closer to the house and stopped at the porch. Shawchert heard his name and he swiveled his ears and looked up to see Bao, whom he rarely saw since he had joined, but that didn’t mean he was not welcome.

“Ah Bao, hello, what brings you into town?”

Shaw asked. He knew that Bao had taken residence somewhere inside the pack but he had not gotten the chance to find out where. He set his tools in his lap as he looked the other man up and down. He could see he was at least slightly chilled by the weather, and Shaw thought about inviting him in, but first he would see what the man wanted. If it was something quick there was no need, but if he wanted to talk about something more Shawchert would gladly let himself have a few moments of discomfort walking in the house than to let the other man freeze to death.
