The curiosity hadn't lessened at all since he had first gotten here. He was still quite curious. And so he was out exploring still. He was going to learn the lay of the land one way or another. He patted Ringo's neck as he walked next to his horse for the time being. He glanced over to Sessane, who was out on Yoko, and smiled at her. He wasn't certain how she felt about the clan that they had ended up a part of. There wasn't the bustle there like there had been in Barbados. This lifestyle was more laid back than he was used to. It was something that he would have to get used to when he was used to some sort of commerce, where value was placed upon trinkets and such. There didn't seem to be an established trading system here.

He was pulled from his thoughts when Sessane cleared her throat. He glanced over to her and then to the building that was tucked away among the trees. Imacai gave a shrug and turned to head towards the building. Might as well take a look and see what it was. He left Ringo and Yoko outside as he entered with Sessane to look around. He had never seen anything like it before. In one corner there was plastic tubing and spouts and there was some other sort of system as well.

Sessane was the one that ended up finding the manual and showed it to Imacai. He glanced through it quickly and found out that this place was used to create some sort of something or another. That was definitely interesting. He looked up from the weathered pages, that had pictorial diagrams imprinted upon the pages, and looked back to Sessane questioningly. The communication was silent but they seemed to understand each over. So after a pause from the female she ended up nodding her head. Imacai smiled and kept a hold on the manual and went to collect the tubing to go and set up as was described and shown in the book.

The tubing was taken outside and slipped over the horses's heads to hang around their necks so that they could be moved up the gentle slope to the trees. With the tubes on hand the two head up to the trees to start on the process of tapping the trees as depicted, of course starting out with laying out the tubing and running it back to the sugar house. They ended up having to go back in for a couple of the hand drills so they would be able to make the holes in the trees. But at least they had the spouts laid on the ground near the trees and the tubes placed within the container that would collect the sap and allow it to be boiled down. So at least the prep work was done even it they had forgotten the tools need for the manual labor of applying the taps into the trees. But they had the drills now and returned to where they had left the spouts so that they could work on actually tapping the trees, drilling holes in them to fit the spouts into.

TOTALLY JOINING THIS THREAD CAUSE I FEEL BAD FOR DROPPING CASS AND LEAVING IMACAI WITH NOBODY TO FIX HIS CART OR W/E THE FUCK CASS WAS SUPPOSED TO DO

As far as Tsrmono knew, he just came to be. He never remembered where he was born, only remembering how he got to this area. All of his memories were vividly clear until a certain point. Then, there was nothing - not a single glimpse of his real past. It puzzled Tsr in a way, making him interested in how his own mind was keeping things from him. He wanted to know his origins, know how he came to be and why. But he recieved nothing. What a pity. Tsrmono was still in his tender years, still able to soak in as much information as possible. Maybe in due time he would be bestowed the key to the correct information.

As a non-luperci, Tsrmono never saw fit to participate in activites that the bipedal werewolves could do themselves. He neither was interested nor prompted in any way. Although, if it looked odd enough, he may have been tempted to simple observe, as he did with most things. And he now certainly stumbled onto one of those things.

Before him he witnessed all kinds of tools, tubes, and miscellaneous things laying about, as if someone was planning to build or make something. Upon closer inspection, he noticed two luperci hard at work, using some kind of instruction manual to assist them. Tsrmono was quite well read himself and so was now quite curious as to what the luperci were up to. Tsr did what he did best at that moment, and that was sitting and observing. What a champ.

Herp. Sorry for the late reply. Myron will show up later on too, but for now, Talitha is alone.

Wordcount: 3+

Myron hadn't left Drifter's Bay in nearly a year, and Talitha took it upon herself to show her friend the world outside of his home. With the sun, they rose as well, prepared for some form of adventure; Talitha hadn't yet stepped foot on the entirety of her home, but she was sure she could pull it off before she died. Myron was more keen on the travel than his much younger companion. Don't'cha whine so much, princess! Gotta get out 'n that world o'er yonder and cheer ya up! She merely rolled her eyes at his words, shaking curled tresses about with a jostle of her head. "I'm not whining, Myrrie. Hush yourself and lead the way."

Crossing Inferni was easy for the maturing Lykoi, but once past the precious borders, so distinct from the rest of the world, she was lost. Finding Halifax was usually done by sheer luck, rather than any sort of skill in navigation. The aging coyote, however, seemed to understand where he wanted to go. She watched as he lead the way through the Dampwoods, the two talking about such meaningless things as the color of the sky and the imminent presence of Spring on the horizon. Laughter filtered through the woman's maw, a vibrant smile coloring her features bright for the first time in nearly a month. The strange, pagan hippie eased her distress with just a few ragged words.

Reaching Arachnea's Revenge, and later the Sugarwoods, was a feat to the disoriented coyote. She had never wandered into that region; she went around the territory on her way to Halifax, moving parallel to the mountains for as long as she could. Her ears swiveled in search of new sounds, falling upon something loud happening further in. Curiosity grabbed hold of the princess. Her cream-tipped feet carried her past unfamiliar trees in search of the creator of the noise; Myron watched her go with olive-gold eyes, but remained in his place to study the trees.

What the crimson eyes of the hybrid found was surprising. Not only did she happen upon the roguishly handsome Imacai, whose interesting ways of greeting had left her intrigued on Long island, but she noticed he'd found something unique. Without taking notice of the small jackal hidden amongst her surroundings, she took a few comfortable steps forward. "Imacai?" she called, voice soft so as not to disturb her packmate. What was he working on? Some form of monstrous contraption that she was sure she'd never understand. Without taking his comfort into concern, she moved into his personal space, leaning closer to watch his movements. "What are you up to, Imacai?"

OOC here: Table & Coding © Sunny; It's fine Titty hun, it was a random idea anyways. And yay Kiki and Tal and then Myron later!; 509 words

Imcai wasn't well versed in the written language but he knew enough. Especially when there would be occasions when Sessane and himself would communicate in such a way. But luckily for him the instruction manual had pictures that could be followed. He was able to follow these depictions in the very least. They displayed enough, along with the slight words given, that he could figure out just what needed to be done. And right now it meant making holes in the trees so that he could hook up the spouts and tubes he had found. He still had no idea exactly what he was doing or making but he was curious enough to test it out and find out.

He paused in what he was doing when he heard his name. He lifted his head up to see who was there only to find that the female that he had first met on the island hand moved close to him. A wide grin broke out and his tail gave a slight wag as he reached out to try to throw his arms around the female to hug her and even tried to give her cheek an affectionate lick. "Mornin'!" He chimed out happily and took a step back. "Come." He reached for Talitha's and in order to try to get her to follow him over to where Sessane was.

"Sessane." He gave his companion's name, introducing the full coyote female. "Sessane no speak, no hear." He said as he had turned to explain the silent nature of his companion. And while he had turned did he finally pick up on another in the area. He knew that scent. It took some hard staring before he could pick up the small outline through the trees. He reached out to try to nudge Talitha with one hand while pointing to the small male that he had spotted with the other hand. "Jackal." He gave the species since he was unable to recall the name for the strange little male that he had come across on a previous encounter.

"Come, come." He waved over the jackal and turned his attention back to Talitha. He made to hand over the drill to her as he held up the manual to show off the pictures. "Hole tree. Thing hole." He explained the pictures and pretty much told her exactly what he was doing. He was following what the pictures and words told him to do and that was all he really knew. He didn't know the purpose behind it but he would find out once he was done he supposed. After all what better way to find out the result than to try it for himself and experiment. After all there was only one real way to understand it and that was to have the hands on experience by following the instructions and completing them one's self. And it wasn't like he had anything else to do at the moment so why not figure out what he had found through the hands on approach?

Sorry for the wait!

The hug he gave her was unexpected and, of course, undesired. Her body stiffened at the embrace; she didn't push him away, however, large red eyes simply watching him warily. He seemed happy, and she offered a subtle smile. At least someone could still be joyful in the world without provocation. She allowed him to take her hand, giving his own a gentle squeeze as she followed him to where the coyote woman was. The contraption before them left her dumbfounded, and she almost didn't hear Imacai as he gave her name. Sessane, who couldn't speak nor hear. The russet princess gave a nod of understanding, at both the male and his companion.

Imacai's nudge caused her to turn toward the small creature, but she brushed it off as a vagrant animal wandering through the forest. What he was doing was far more interesting to the female than some strange creature. The male tried to explain, pointing at pictures and speaking. She didn't understand, giving a nod anyways; she could pretend with the best of them. "What exactly is it supposed to do?" she asked, taking the book to study the pictures more closely. Human machines were not her forte. It was almost like an entirely different language to the maturing Lykoi. Everything was far too strange for her mind.

He hadn't even thought that she wouldn't enjoy the affection. He had thought that they were on fairly decent terms and so hadn't considered that she didn't feel the same way. After all she had called out to him rather than continuing on her way and ignoring him as she could have easily done. He had simply been treating her as he would a friend. And since she hadn't made it known still that she didn't like it then he simply would continue to be unaware. Especially since she had allowed him to take her hand and had even given his own a squeeze. It was like a hand hug or something.

He remembered seeing the jackal before but since the small canine had refused to speak and come forward then he could only join Talitha in ignoring him. After all he was showing her just what he had found. Just like the boat he was excited about this as well. Still her question left him stumped. He hadn't bothered to read ahead or anything. "Ionno." He laughed a bit as he admitted it and scratched his head for a moment before flipping through the manual to see what it was all about. He had just been thrilled to find the manual and the equipment to allow him to play around with.

"Syrup." He said decisively after he had checked the manual. He held up the book to show off the picture of the final product. He smiled and handed the manual over to Sessane so that he could grab a drill to try to hand over to Talitha. "Show you?" He offered her. It might be easier for her to understand if she actually participated and did some things firsthand. After all he was figuring this stuff out for himself by following the pictures and written word. He had no idea what he was doing but that was just half the adventure.
