Takes place in the mansion. Ykesha is going to end up claiming a room on the second floor if that's chill (CW10).

The air smelled of rusted iron: stale, weathered, old. From afar the building had appeared regal. Its face stretched up from the twisted arms of the Forest of Nod like a shepherd surveying his flock. Its red walls seemed bright and authoritative, its broad porch resembled the brilliant studded chest of a well decorated general. Upon further investigation, however, Ykesha concluded otherwise. This was no proud Shepherd, no hero of war. When she reached the front steps she felt the weight and sadness the building emitted. It seemed withered and lethargic--a dried fruit long spoiled yet left to hang upon its drying string next to the kitchen hearth. The fae’s striped ears flicked back momentarily, her wariness causing her to pause before stepping onto the dilapidated wood of the front porch. What a sad place. What a horribly weary place. Were it not for the strong scent of coyote that seemed to mix with the stale-iron air wafting from the entry door, the woman would have turned back. Still, Ykesha found herself poised between entry and retreat, one foot on the stairway which led to the front door.

This belongs to Inferni, she reminded herself. This belongs to me. The woman’s eyes hardened and she climbed the decomposing steps to the front door.

It opened as soon as she placed her hand on the brass knob.

The wind pushing out from the mansion’s interior was rank. Again iron and unturned air thrust itself rudely up the hybrid’s nose. Her lips curled absentmindedly in distaste. Columns of dust rose slowly like the breath from a beast’s nostrils in winter and the sunlight filtering in from the broken windows lit these pillars gold and copper. The dust seethed and rolled as the air swam through it; Ykesha marveled at how alive something so inanimate could appear. Yet the stillness of the rest of the environment unnerved her and with haste the images of dust fell from her mind. The mansion seemed too empty. Among the dankness the female’s eyes found no residents. Her ears heard nothing within the unending stillness. With wide eyes and a careful step, Ykesha moved into the foyer and allowed the door to fall shut behind her.

She was greeted by stillness and the stink of iron.

AND SCREAM FOR THE CREAM → Lalala, I hope you don't mind cotl-butt shoving his loud ass self into this thread. It looked too quiet and plus, he lives in the mansion so Ykesha would have to deal with him xP

He'd locked himself up into his room like always, sitting up in his room, and doing whatever he could do to keep his mind busy for this moment in time. Right now, he had been surprisingly quiet, and he had been sketching in his notebook, putting his memories together to find the anorexic form of one of his lovers, Talitha Lykoi and putting her form on the paper, the realism in his drawings was phenomenal, and for him to be able to just sit there for hours and hours was also something else. When he was drawing, he also seemed to be lost in a completely different world because he was very quiet, and un-needing of making those loud vocal adjustments (though the twitching did continue at times) and there was almost a haze over his face as he concentrated on the picture and every single little detail that he could remember. Every detail he could remember was almost every detail that would be on the woman's body. The artist had an eye for detail, and this was obvious by the way he was sitting there just drawing every little piece of fur the woman had.

He'd been in his world so much that he didn't think about anything else, and when sounds entered his ears from downstairs, he did not bother at first. He was stuck in a trace until he had found his way to her garments. He hated to draw clothing on the woman, but this position did call for a shirt, for it would have looked best with a shirt rather than naked. When he was about to start on the shirt, he had heard the heavy door of the Mansion close. The man blinked his bi-colored eyes before he looked at his door and then he quickly got up from his bed and he had opened his door slowly and he peeked out of it. There was no one up on the second floor yet, so whoever just came in the Mansion had not lived here he didn't think. They would have rushed to their room like the rest of the residents of the Mansion would they not? Cotl was quick to exit his room then, though he held his breath and he had tried to move silently on the old wooden boards. When he made it to the stairs, he peeked down to the bottom to see if there was anyone there.

There, in the foyer was a woman that he had not seen before. She was white, but obviously a coyote of some sort. She had weird patterns on her fur, stripes that Cotl had never seen before. It made him curious, so the rust and coal colored man had slowly made his way downstairs, his bi-colored eyes pinned on the woman, and his large pierced ears pulled back slightly. Never seen du around 'ere the man spoke, clearing his throat after he had spoken to the woman initially. The man made it half way down the stairs and then he stopped there, still keeping a distance between the two since they were both unfamiliar with one another. Mein name ist Cotl Ulrich -NYEH- Vho du? the man asked, not failing to be interrupted by an interjection this time.
