Nightmares
#1
Shiloh walked alone though the forrest, her mind wondering. She had woken up recently, her nightmares chasing her again. She could still feel the burns, still smell the burning flesh of her and her sister as they burned. Her sister couldn't take the burns and died shortly after the fires died down from their hut where she lost her little brother, mother and father. It was only Shiloh left to herself for almost two weeks. She hadn't moved from the ashes of her family for two weeks after the fire, despite her burn wounds needing to be taken care of. She wanted to join them, join her family and the only people who loved her.

Shiloh sat down on a rock next to the lake AniWaya had and stared at her reflection. The pink burn scars never disappeared and she wished someone would look at her and see her kind heart, not her burn scars. She tended to stay away from the others but had recently started praying in the mornings and before she slept for living another day. As she stared of into the distance only one thought seemed to be consuming her. Will someone ever love me enough to be my mate?

Sakari was out and walking through the lands of AniWaya. She still wasn't exactly sure to look for as for medicine wise it didn't stop her from glancing around at the area and taking note of the foliage that she found. She wasn't sure what had use and what didn't but at least she would know where to find general things. Or such was her idea at least. She wanted to be just like her uncle. She wanted to be an asset to her family. She wanted to make all of them proud. Her uncle had accomplished great things and so she wanted to do the exact same.

Eventually she came across the crater area where the lake was. But it was a misstep that had his slipping down bit of an incline towards the water. She dug her claws into the ground, stopping herself by the skin of her teeth from sliding into the water. Keeping her claws in the ground she pulled herself back up, using all four of her paws since she still retained her lupus form, to stand on stable ground once again. She shook herself out to remove any dirt that may have gotten on her because of her slide.

It was only after she was certain that she wasn't about to slip again did she realize that there was someone else there. She gave a shy and embarrassed little smile as she looked towards the female. Her slip up certainly hadn't been graceful at all. "Hello. Why are you all of the way out here by yourself?" From what she had seen most everyone stayed around the village area and tended to their duties. Did she not have duties yet either? After all Sakari was too young to move on the tiered profession path just yet but she was still studying up anyways.

Shiloh was pulled from her thoughts as she heard someone sliding down the hills. She watched the woman slip and stop right before the water, her eyes conveying her humor. She watched the girl shake herself off before noticing her. "Hello. Why are you all of the way out here by yourself?" asked the woman softly.
"Hello." said Shiloh softly turning to the woman. She answered her question smoothly, thinking carefully about how she answered the question. "I needed somewhere to think. I have been having nightmares that keep me up at night. This place calms me." said Shiloh softly looking away.
She stared at her reflection and wondered if the girl was going to be round long. Shiloh remembered a time that she would hold her sister close and whisper softly words of love to her. The girl reminded her of her sister and Shiloh started to cry.

OOC here: Table & Coding © Hickey; Hun, I got confused with your post at first. Maybe if you were going ot quote what I said then you could put it in italics, or put your speech in bold. At first I thought you had Shiloh saying hello twice; 329 words

She gave a nod of her head as she was answered. It had her thinking that the other had come out here for solitude and to not be bothered. Sakari could certainly respect that. It was just like one needed to be alone on their spiritual journey. You had to be alone to find yourself. You needed the calm and quiet to be able to listen to your heart. Time alone to gather your thoughts was good for everyone.

"I am sorry for having bothered you then." She spoke the words quietly and turned to go so that the other could have her solitude again. Sakari could always find somewhere to go to play and explore. She didn't necessarily need to be at the salt lake. If the other needed this area for person reflection then that was fine by her. She could understand and respect that.

It was as she was walking away that she heard the other start crying. She paused in her steps, a paw lifted off the ground since she had been in mid-step, and glanced over her shoulder back at the other. "It is okay. You don't have to cry. Things will get better. Just call on the spirits they are always around to listen. They will help you if you ask them to do so." She wasn't certain if the other had her spirit guide yet or not. If so then she could talk to the spirit guide. After all Sakari had spent time talking about things with Hvnii and getting her advice when she had been around. She had delighted in talking to the bear cub spirit guide, as well as playing with her. Hvnii had been all she had left from the Great Tribe after Meda had passed on. But now both were gone and while Sakari missed them she was doing better now. After all she couldn't mourn forever since she still had her own life before her to live.
