He'd left the safe confines of Dahlia de Mai in search of something. His most recent encounter with Nayru had revealed to him just how inexperianced he was as a medical body. And he wasnt happy about it. He'd managed to remove the poorly made stitches on the Gamma's head and had cleaned it well enough so that no infection would get through. But he'd been unable to stitch it back up again. He knew a lot about the plants and other things that could help with injuries and illnesses, his few trips to Dalhousie University had unearthed a whole host of medical books that he'd managed to read through. They must have been old, as the ones he'd read had been mostly on herbal uses for plants. It was very helpful, but the male couldnt simply go on books for knowledge. He wanted to be the medicle man in Dahlia de Mai and he needed to prove to Conor that he had the knowledge and skills to help and be useful in the pack.

This had drove him to search beyound the borders of Dahlia for other medicine men and women that might be able to teach him. Though not the closest pack to Dahlia, Saul had chosen to head for the borders of Crimson Dreams. He'd never been there before and he hadn't met anyone from the pack before. But he was a driven man and he would go to any lengths to find a teacher who would be happy to teach him. Running in his secui form was something the timber male didnt like to do. But it got him there much faster than anything else. He didnt have a horse yet and he needed more lessons from Liliana before he would be able to be confident on a horse. So it was by paw he went. Leaving very early this morning with a quick lick to Siku's head before he made his way north.

It was now early afternoon, the sun arching to its peak in perhaps half an hours time. He could smell the pack nearby and was trying to figure out what to say. Who to ask to help him out. He slowed well before the scent markers clearly defined the borders and waited for a moment. Perhaps there was a scout on patrol who could deal with his request. He shifted down to his lupus form, much more comfortable on four paws than two. He sat then, green eyes trained on the horizon to see if there would be anyone willing to help him.

Sorry for the wait Honey! 300+

Most of the shock of what had happened a few weeks ago had worn off, but there was still a thick gloom that hung around the members of the Marino family. Even if Denali had only been a brother in name and not blood, they had all cared for the boy and nothing could have been more shocking and upsetting than learning of the innocent boy's fate. To know that his murderer had lived amongst them for over a month was wholly unsettling, especially since Parker had been put in danger by the horrible woman and her mother had been horribly injured in the fight with Nuki. Everyone had been able to tell something was not quite right about the female with the blood red gaze, but Crimson Dreams was an accepting place. They had never expected anything like this, and it shook the pack to its foundations.

Most of them were doing their best to return to life as normal, but Cambria could see the deep pain that was thinly veiled behind her mother's eyes. Savina's body may have been healing, but her heart wasn't. That was one place that the Medicus could not heal with her knowledge and skill. Only time could heal that wound, but the cocoa daughter could not help but worry if it was a hurt too deep for even that to help. She could not imagine the pain of losing a child in such a horrific manner, especially not for a mother who loved all her children as much as Savina did. Cambria didn't know what to say though, and the Consul had grown detached and distant. There were no answers in her medical books or her stores of herbs. She was at a loss.

The Marino had decided to take a walk outside to try and clear her head and see if any new insights might come to her as to how to help her mother. Healer's satchel was hung over one shoulder and her mourning dove friend was perched on the other. Even when she wanted to be "alone", she liked having Enzo with her; his was a calming presence. Sea green gaze drifted here and there, but soon caught sight of a wolf sitting near the borders. The cream accented fey halted and her nerves flared up. Strangers always made her uneasy, especially male strangers. Surely he had seen her though, and she couldn't just walk away from some unknown wolf so close to the pack. She walked just a little closer before she stopped and called out, "Hello? Do you need something?" Enzo's feathers were puffed up, he was always wary of unknown canines.
