Sele enjoyed it here, being underground and all. She felt safe hidden away from the prying eyes of the world above. It also reminded of the place that she had felt accepted and where she had fit in. The cult had the same sort of system set up and that had been a home to her. Now she had a home in Anathema. It wasn't exactly the same as what she had grown used to but it was close enough. There were still many unexplored passages that she could go to and hide in.

Actually that is just what she was doing now. She headed away from the main areas where everyone lived to go an explore down the other pathways. As per her usual method of transport she was walking about on her hands. Besides crawling, it was her only method of travel. She was unable to walk upright on her feet like everyone else was able to do. It was something that she'd had trouble with since she had first learned to shift. She simply had just never been able to and it was an aspect that everyone else ended up just getting used to since it wasn't about to change.

She wasn't sure where she was headed but it didn't quite matter. She was just moving away from where everyone else was. She headed down a path that was less traveled. The tunnel didn't hold the scents of many so she figured that hardly any knew of it. That made it a perfect place to wander. She could slip away from the rest of the pack and be alone while still remaining on the lands. Cutting wasn't on her mind at the moment instead she just wanted to go where others hadn't gone before. She wanted to find other places to hide out is all.

Crap post. o.o And yes, we can get this done muy rapido! 300+

Exploration was her new favorite hobby, brought about by her shock of the cave system that Anathema lived within. Many of her hours were wasted traveling through corridors and dens, searching for the weaker spots within the rock and wondering how they had been made. Though Naniko had assured her that the wolves of Anathema had not been the creators, she didn't believe that nature had done it. Gods, perhaps. Other wolves, more likely. In Eterne, only the Mamexi and serious members of the Atotoztli had resided within a cave system. Her family had lived in a home.

Heading away from what she recognized as main regions of the underground home, she started her normal routine. Golden knuckles rapped against stone, the echoed noises causing her ears to twitch atop her head. It was a beautiful sound. "Muy curioso," she mused, voice soft on the air. If others could create the caves, she was sure they could expand upon them; it would just take muscle and desire. With a brain set upon conquer, her drive to expand lands that housed a new family were strong enough to cause a mental map to form within her head. Some walls were weaker than others, and she was determined to remember them.

The presence of another didn't register at first, but the scent of a familiar female reached the coyote and brought the attention of the young woman back to those of her home. Someone was wandering with her; fiery eyes sought a form, and her curiosity dragged her away from the wall she'd been checking. It took a moment, but she managed to find the white body of the female who had met her at the borders. Naniko? No, Naniko's eyes had been emerald. This one was Selene. Tlantli tilted her head ever so slightly, watching the hunched form move. "Hola, Sahlene," she greeted, her voice amiable but not cheerful.

If Sele had the use of her hands, other than for walking, then she could have made her mark on the cave exploration path. She was unable to draw out the needed maps though. She couldn't carry about the required tools or any other specifications of the job other than just wandering aimlessly through the system. That part she was good at. After all, before Anathema had formed, she had found this place and told her sister about it. It then became the choice of where to live. So she had done quite a bit of exploring on her own even if she was unable to map it out for others to know of it as well.

When she couldn't be found hiding away in her own den, nor having left the pack's lands for certain reasons, she often lost herself to the tunnel system. Perhaps it wasn't safe to wander away on her own without telling others about where she was headed. But Sele had never thought of that though. She couldn't imagine that any would turn out to be upset if she never came back. She didn't have that sort of impact. She was no one special. She wasn't needed to keep this place running.

And not only where Sele's eyes a different color than her sister's she was also shorter than the other female. Sele barely topped five feet while Nani was more of a giant. Not to mention that Nani had confidence that Sele lacked. Of course Sele made up for it by her kinder and softer nature. Such things made it hard to believe that there was a darkness hidden inside of her. It was hard to believe just how cruel she was to herself with the way she attempted to help out others and make them feel welcome and such.

Hearing her name, or well a variation of it actually, she paused in her steps and turned her head back to look to see what it was. Being on her hands and knees and crawling down the tunnel she had to tilt her head to look up into the face of the other. It was the new member that had come with a child. Though it didn't seem that the boy was with her at this point. "Hello. Tlantli, was it?" She hoped that such was right. That she hadn't just butchered the other's name in her attempt to remember it. "Are you looking for your son?" She glanced down the path that she was traveling before looking back towards the female. "If he came this way it may take a bit to find him. Not many come this way so the system isn't mapped out yet." But that might work in their favor if they could pick up on the boy's scent. There wouldn't be too many to mull over to figure out which was his. But also, any dangers down this way were completely unknown about. Who knew what sort of trouble the boy could be in?

The white beauty known as Selene paused at her name and turned, though it was clearly awkward for her due to the strange way she held her body. Tlantli raised one eyebrow ever so briefly as she wondered just why it was that the woman moved like she did; clearly, it meant something had gone wrong when she learned how to walk. It wasn't the time for questions, however, and as Selene managed to remember her name, the Kimaris woman offered a reserved smile. "Si. Tlantli."

She asked if the coyote was searching for her son, but the golden female knew she was not. Her head shook briefly at the mention; Citlali was off doing something to his own device, she was sure. "Aye am exploring. The caves, they give me much to wonder for." One delicate hand reached out to pat the rock to the left of her body. It was exactly the reason she had ventured down the halls. To see, to study, and to wonder. "Aye wonder how they are made; in maye home, we do not live in the caves. Only some. Only Mamexi and Atotoztli." The Nahuatl words rolled from her tongue like the English language never had, proving her native lineage in a few simply syllables.

Tearing her attention away from the walls, she tilted her head in the direction of Selene. "Are you exploring as well, Sahlene? These, they are muy magnifico, si?"

She had learned to shift from head to toe so her lower half couldn't support the heavier weight of the top. And that was simply the way things had started then had progressed from there. Since she wasn't used to it she couldn't keep her balance when she stood up. She was used to her head being lower so she would get dizzy and unbalanced if she tried to stand on her feet rather than her hands. It was simply yet another talent that she didn't have.

"Where I was living before here we stayed in caves there too. I guess I just feel safe in them. No one can see what you are doing from the outside." It was perhaps the secrecy that could be found here that she liked the best. She could slip away into the darkness and solitude and know that none could see what she was doing unless they were with her. And with some of the things that she did she most certainly needed that privacy.

"Yeah, I am. Just wanted to see what was down this way. Find the best places for traps in case someone unwanted does get in the caves." She wasn't certain of the exact nature of the traps needed to be put in place but it was something that had been discussed with her sister. Just like some pits had been added to the borders upon suggestion. So Sele was checking other parts of the system. Who knew there might be an unexplored way in yet. After all the entire system had yet to explored. There weren't enough bodies willing to do it. And well, Sele lacked the skills needed for it other than walking around. Even though the walking portion of it proved difficult for her at times. Then she had to resort to crawling around.

Sorry for the wait! They'll be coming fast from here on out! Ilu, Syl!

She listened with the utmost interest as the older female spoke. To hear stories was fascinating to the coyote, as hers always seemed so very bland, and Selene's explanation about her home before left Tlantli wondering how many others found caves to be a normal place to live. In Eterne, they had lived in houses. The priests, the High Priestess, and those so deep into their glorified religion that they didn't know down from up resided within the caverns. All others prefered the sunlight. Caves were strange to the Kimaris, but clearly not so to Selene.

A golden nod followed the news about exploration and traps. She hadn't thought of that before; traps would indeed be more useful in the darkness of her new home. "Aye haff been looking at the walls. To see contrucksions of the caves." Her hand gestured to the rock at the side of her. Traps were not her forte. In truth, construction was not either. She was active, she was strong. She was a warrior, but found no desire to pursue her natural abilities as a placemarker. "Whaye do you walk liek you do?"

Her sudden inquiry could have been rude, but she didn't think to restrain her voice. With her brothers, it was different. They had argued, and she had been free to say as she pleased. She saw no difference with the new wolf family that she found herself amongst. It didn't reach her mind until moments after that it may have been improper to ask. "Unless it ess not okay for you to tell me."
