Look at the Water

Waves crashed upon the beach of Quartz Shoreline. Though the water looked peaceful, its roar was loud enough to deafen light footsteps. When the white and dyed female arrived, it was sunrise. Her white and black lupus body had stretched over a large rocky mound that jutted out from the waves. Sea spray had dappled the gray mask on her face. It had been so relaxing that Layla had found it impossible to stay awake. During her rest, the sun had climbed the sky and was now resting near its peak. Sunlight glimmered off of the uncolored parts of her white coat.

The sun warmed her fur, despite the cool salty breeze that tousled her fur. Sitting up and stretching, Layla shifted to her optime form. Looking around her, she saw that the tide had gone out and her rock no longer surrounded by the water. The waves barely touched the tip of her mound. On all fours, Layla stretched her back and arms. Sighing, she exited the stretch into a sitting position and continued to watch the sea. Reaching into her backpack that she had used for a pillow, Layla withdrew a white comb. She ran her thumb over the teeth once, admiring the ivory colors of the buffalo horn.

Shaking loose her black hair, the female started to comb her hair. Layla delicately and patiently worked through her thick locks, leaving loose and tidy black curls and waves in the combs wake. After adding a final run through her blood red bangs, she proceeded to run it through the rest of her fur on her body. Layla had always been a tidy wolf. Mutter's words came back to her, asking her to vow to never start her day or go anywhere without having her hair brushed first. Habits die hard, yes?

There was no need for him in the pack and unless his Angel called for him, he would not come for any one. His Angel was the only one he felt like he needed to report to all the other one’s could screw off for all he cared. The monster was really loyal to no one and did not have a care really what anyone thought, so Naniko had him share blood with her that did not mean a thing. During a good rape the master and victim shared blood as well. So for Lucifer that meant more to the white Angel when it did to him, and if it made the Angel happy then he would let her think and believe that it meant something to him to. Such a lie was not hard for the monster to live and pretend. If it would mean making her happy and mean making her submits to his request. She was too strong of will to make demands upon her; she would surely have his heads.

Paws moved along the sandy shore line, it had been to long since he had seen any one able to bring that chilly smile out in him. Knowing that other around him was uneasy did sit well on him; frankly he loved it when they were scared out of their mind and not able to control their fears, that...That was what he knew he lived for. It was sad that others shy away from their most basic and most primal of wants. Too bad, the world would be a better place if everyone just gave away with moral and the more human like behaviors and allowed an Adonis of wolves to bless them with a litter, or even bless them with his body next to theirs.

Stopping the male saw her; she was like…oh she was so wonderful, black and white, with a little red. The male wasn’t a fan of black pelts, but the white oh the white was just wonderful. He felt a mild tingle stirring down with in his stomach. ”Fine day is it not?” that chilled smile came out, looking upon her fair body. His eyes looked around, they where alone….just how he wanted it.

As Layla combed through her hair, she cast her thoughts to past events. She had met several wolves since her arrival in Nova Scotia. Darkness and Jaden were friendly loners. Siku and Saul from Dahlia de Mai were pleasant as well. Liliana from AniWaya introduced her to the wonderful and enchanting world of horses. Leonard was... Leonard. Nothing bad with that, they had a wonderful time at the beach by Rabbit Lake in Crimson Dreams territory. Alexander was definitely different. Thanks to him, she now knew about alcohol.

Layla hardly knew which pack to join anymore. She had thought that after meeting a bunch of wolves, it would be easy to join the friendliest one. The problem was that so many people here were friendly and she wouldn't mind living with them, and the female had only met wolves from Dahlia de Mai, Crimson Dreams, Cercatori d’Arte, and AniWaya. Because of her indecisiveness, she would wander around as a loner for a little while longer at least. A voice broke through the silence. Layla whipped her head around to see a large black male wandering her way. Like a silly child, she waved in her friendly way.

Putting her comb in her backpack and sealing it, Layla turned her body around to face him instead of the water. His smile chilled her and made her slightly uneasy as he looked upon her. "It is indeed, stranger," she replied. "It is quite relaxing too, but I bet the water's cold though." Layla glanced over her shoulder at the sea for a brief moment. "What brings you here? And if you are going to stay and chat with me, my name is Layla." The female hoped that if she played the role of the chatterbox, that look in his eye would go away.
