Cuomo had never felt so fleet of foot or free to do as he pleased. He was a separate entity, an agent all his own. Only his free will propelled him forward to do whatever he wanted to. This way of life blended into a string of endlessly identical days. When time became hard to distinguish, he knew that this path in life would do him no good. He did not want to lead a forgettable life that was dominated by monotony and inanity. Rather, he wanted to know for certain that he had maximized the time he had to live.

Cuomo had a dark colored pelt. His fur coat was comprised of several dark shades of gray that culminated into a dark, ashen coat that appeared to be a deep black. Because of his wolf heritage, he had the larger builds of Canis lupus occidentalis and canis lupus lycaon, but his muzzle thinned slightly, giving him a more delicate look when his face was turned in profile. This, of course, was a nod to his coyote heritage. His eyes glinted as rays of early spring sunlight. The color of his irises was a deep yellow-orange. It was unusual, but not completely striking. The color suited his face.

The scent that drifted from these lands told him that this was the border land of a pack. The male wolf paced a few dozen feet parallel to the invisible line that delineated open land from claimed land. It was very fitting that his path had led him here, when he so much wanted to create change in his current life path. Perhaps he could find someone who lived here and learn more about it. He could change those endlessly forgettable days into days that would be memorable.

hello and welcome to 'souls! my name is honey and i play saul and theodore here currently! i hope you enjoy your time here with us. please feel free to PM mysef or kris (nayru) with any questions or concerns you may have! <333

The morning was bright and young, the weak spring sun still not strong enough to cause problems or drying of the lands. It would get better as April progressed, bringing the spring showers with it and finally making way for Lady Summer. Her bright petticoat would wash over the lands, her radiant beauty would light up the sky. Prince Fall would come and steal her crown to give back to Lord Winter soon enough though and the cycle would start again. Th young Dahlian was content to enjoy Princess' Springs stealthily seduced warmth for the tme it was here. It would give way to sweltering heat and all manners of illneses that he would be able to treat. He knew he needed to go and see Nayru soon about the co-rank he'd been working towards. But today was a day for border patrolling. It felt as though he was the only one to do so, though he knew Siku was making more of an effort now Conor was gone.

The most typical spot for an interception with a loner was out in the Buttefly Sussurus. An extensio of the spring his house was built beside, Saul moved down Oberon's Spring towards the beaches of Dahlia. He had only just accepted another member into Dahlia- Alae and her wide-eyed owl. But it seemed there was somethng that was attracting members their way. A north blowing wind danced towads him, carrying the thick and cloying scent of loner at the borders. Perhaps this was why Nayru had yet to accept anyoe into Dahlia- they all arrived from inland and Nayru was closer to the Ethereal Eclipse and Flanders Field. The earthy toned man didnt mind, but his mind cast back to Wretch in the cabin and wondered if she was doing okay. Green eyes saw a dark body ahead and quickened his pace, in his lupus form for now.

"You are approaching Dahlia de Mai borders. My name is Saul Stormbinger, how may I help you?"

Came his standard greeting for loners. It felt ritualtistic now and Saul settled into the dominant positions- body held steady and alert as he awaited response from the mostly orange eyed man.

Cuomo was grateful that he did not have long to wait. Although he was not overtly impatient, he was definitely looking forward to having some sort of interaction. Despite his inclination to roam freely, at the core Cuomo knew that he was a social creature. He thrived off of the energy of others, and liked to cast that energy back to help pull others through. This longing for company was not exactly a sense of loneliness, it was more of the fact that he was reconciling his differences with his basest instincts. At the heart of things, he was not a solitary creature, and could not reach his fullest potential alone.

Another male approached him, and Cuomo was able to gauge his age with a swift glance at his physique. Judging by his body type, this male, Saul Stormbringer, had some growing left to do. This meant that he was younger than Cuomo, but not substantially. Despite the fact that his body hinted at youth, the Dahlian male's sharp green eyes spoke of intelligence and a spark of personality. Cuomo cast his orange eyes down to regard Saul's chin, enough to show respect for his obvious position of authority within this pack but to also pay keen attention to the male with the timber wolf coloration.

"My name is Cuomo," the black brute said by way of introducing himself, lowering his head and tail to show appropriate deference to Saul. He was slightly embarrassed at the omission of a surname. He did not have one that he knew of. As far as he knew, his parents had either chosen to abandon their own surnames or had simply never bequeathed that knowledge unto their children. "I seek to become part of a functional unit, and if you think that your pack might benefit from having me, I'd like to try."
