OOC:
So this happens on Etheral Eclipse, really near to the DdM borders (but not close enough to actually make a thread there xD). Part in French says "Is somebody there?" and derpy post is Fail yay!

IC:
It was all so confusing. All the new scents, sounds and the environment in general were so alien to her right now. Having traveled on a ship for so long had left her clumsy and confused; barely being able to make her way through the craggy beach they had chosen as their landing place without crashing into something. She had been running for days now, not really because of being actually being pursued by someone, it was the paranoia of being found again and get shackled once more.

For the first time in her rather short life she could do as she wished without having someone else’s voice on her shoulder to draw her way. The feeling was something so wonderful and at the same time it was overwhelming. What was she to do now? Of this she had no idea, maybe if she was back on Europe she knew a couple of places where she could have gone to, but right now she was on an unknown land.

When she finally tired of running she had begun panicking, keeping walking forward before drastically changing her direction just as a lost child would when not being able to locate their mother. But in the end her training finished kicking in, pushing the lost and scared girl she was back and letting the hardened warrior surface and take control of the situation. Taking a few breaths she concentrated on the area, moving her head in an exaggerated manner to allow the beads on her hair produce sound. The sound they provided was not strong enough to get an idea of where she was. And of all the places she could have gone lost she had on a forest, she could spend weeks on one and only draw circles on a single area, especially on one that was unknown to her.

Focusing harder she finally found a scent different from the trees and moss. It was the strange yet known scent of another wolf. The area was crisscrossed by many actually, each different from each other and telling the tale of where the wolf went. A small spark of excitement went off on her mind; maybe she could find help with someone else? Of course it would be difficult as she pretty much lacked every social skill that existed but it was definitely better than being lost.

Canine jaws where then parted, letting the ivory weapons seen for a short moment. And so she began humming, the only way she could see where she was going. There was once another wolf that had complimented her on her singing, but she wasn’t’ able to comprehend why, how could her location tool be beautiful? Only that wolf knew.
Clawed paws kept carrying the lone female wolf through the forest as her song echoed through the trees and rocks and gave her an image of where she went. This was until the wolven scent became too strong. She really had no knowledge of how wolf packs moved as she had never been in one, but she knew enough to know they would kill her if she intruded on their territory.

Elena sighted as she leaned against a mossy tree, her little motivation brought down as the scent wall pushed her back into the forest. She was unsure of what to do, even if she would get lucky to find a wolf outside of the borders she had no idea of what to say, the only things she had said on her life where “Yes” “No” or “Sir”. Thoughts where ended by a sudden rustle, hands flying towards concealed weapons in response. It may have been only the wind but she was not to take her chances. “Est quelqu'un il?” it seemed old habits die hard as French flowed out of her tounge before she could even formulate her words.

Sorry for the wait. eek. This post sucks. 523 . >.<

Nayru was here and there, up and down the borders, around Wolfville and the Victorian house should anyone try looking for her. Few came. Saul and Siku had both sought her own, but the others seemed to accept Conor’s absence with less questions. Which was fine. Nayru didn’t know how to explain it to any of them. She still had not formally addressed the issue, had not announced that he was gone gone gone and never coming back if anyone should still think that. Where ever their old leader had gone, he wasn’t amoung them anymore and Nayru was unsure if she had the rallying powers he had. Other packs still distrusted Dahlia de Mai because of the terror Haku had dragged them all through, and Conor had cleaned up as best he could, still Nayru felt she was left with a half ship wrecked group. The damage from the snowstorm was still evident and though warm weather allowed them to rebuild there were many areas that were left unattended. The vineyards, Saluce’s workshop, several buildings no one had used before so why fix them now? There was little to do just yet except move up and down the pack lands, keeping an eye on what she perceived to be ruin, because it was left on her shoulders to be the guardian of it all.

Ruby eyes kept watch over it all, and surely no further damaged was done to the lands. No intruders came, no more disasters fell upon their heads and even though it wasn’t likely to get any more desperate Nayru was at times afraid to leave. What if when she did step off the lands everything fell apart? What if she left, just for a few hours, and Gideon and Saul fled in those few unattended moments? It was this illogical fear that forced Nayru to abandoned Dahlia de Mai that day. Like any challenged she had to prove herself wrong, prove herself capable and able. And even though she did not go far, she forgot Dahlia de Mai as she stole into the dark forests of Ethereal Eclipse. Like a safetly blanket, blocking out the worries of the outside world, the shadows enclosed her and everything she had was devoted to that moment.

It was in that moment she heard the strange language. The accent though was familiar and caused a slight stir in her heart. Almost like a longing, but Nayru quickly reminded herself she missed no one and perked her ears up further to better catch any words that came her way. None did and stealthily she made her way to the source of the sound. The woman seemed frustrated almost, or despondent but it was hard to know what the matter was as Nayru couldn’t decipher the foreign words. Coming up closer she was sure that the woman could sense her by now, but the stranger didn’t turn to make eye contact just yet. Her musical voice was, as always, so soft that it almost seemed she hadn’t spoken but the words came solely from an external source. “I don’t understand what you said, miss.”
