Mid-morning, Serene Sands. All welcome for Anathema; there's a bit of blood on the ground from the spar between Miqui and Tlantli, and her knuckles are bruised/bleeding.
Form: Optime

Her brother's jaws snapped closed beneath the force of the golden coyote's elbow. What had started out as a friendly spar had turned into a bloody competition. Miqui grappled with his younger sibling, crushing her smaller torso in dark and muscular arms; she gave an exasperated gasp for air before directing an open-palm blow to the side of his face. The oldest Kimaris male staggered backward, tripping over his own feet and crashing to the ground. "Carajo, Tlantli!" She gave an emotionless grin. "Usted nunca será capaz de golpearme, Miqui." Her words were factual; he'd never beaten her in the past.

The smaller woman helped her towering brother to his feet, patting his shoulder with the most sympathetic of touches. He looked annoyed, truly annoyed, and it only served to cause her to smile even more. Miqui was a warrior, yet his sister always found it simple to defeat him. Perhaps he didn't try hard enough against her. A glare twisted his fiery eyes from affectionate to irate. That was common. "Sometimes I don' think you play fair, Tla." His sister gave a chuckle. "Aye always play faihr." She turned from him and paced away a few steps before sitting; Miqui shook his head, stalking off in the direction of the caves. The female hefted a sigh from her lungs. What a giant baby.

hai thar

The lithe goddess walked along the tuffs of grass growing sparsely before the full onset of spring in their northern region. Her feet pressed softly across the ground, walking along on two legs. She was looking for some rare spring herbs, some for medicinal properties others for their pleasant scents. Lately her mood was one of happiness, and it seemed having someone around to keep her occupied had a rather peculiar effect of making her less a bitch and more social able. If anyone really paid much attention the Corson carried the heavy smell of her boyfriend and Rakeeb, and she was rather proud of her Teddy for his current position within the pack. But if anyone really cared to pay much attention she thought it destiny anyway, because only a man of power was worth of the goddess anyway, and one day the two of them would rule this pack, if and when her aunt succumbed to her own demons.

Silently she walked along until she caught the scent of blood, instantly she wondered if she was walking across some helpless wolf that didn’t belong and instantly she grew excited. Another perspective test subject would be a great find but as she walked her smile grew into a frown, not only where the two combatants pack members, but neither was seriously hurt enough for her to take advantage anyways. She crossed her arms as she watched the very last of the exchange with judgmental eyes, instantly her aura came alive as she took in the female. If she didn’t need to socialize with the members to determine which ones might want to be healers she might have moved on, but curiosity was another driving feature of the women and fear was not something she felt when addressing other wolfs, especially lower ranked ones.

“Hello there” her voice spoke, lacking everything except authority.

The Spanish creature watched the sea as her mind played back the spar with her larger sibling, searching for where he went wrong and where she succeeded. What could she do better? How could she shape her abilities into something that was unsurpassed? How could Tlantli, hybrid daughter of Metetztli in the once-pure house of Kimaris, make herself better? It was a question always on her mind. She wondered in silence how to make her father proud. The family had lost a lot of pride in the death of Astaroth, and there was only truly Tlantli to keep the real line going. Miqui and Imacai didn't seem to have what it took, and who knew where Xochime had disappeared to. Another sigh rose and fell, entering the word as her irritation at her life bubbled upwards.

Much to her displeasure, she was caught off-guard by another member of her home. The authoritative hello caused the coyote to turn, one eyebrow raising as she studied the female who approached. She had never met this woman, yet she smelled familiar and it left Tlantli vaguely amused. "What do you want." Her own words were simple, firm and demanding as her arms crossed before her chest. It wasn't that she lacked social skills or an enjoyment of social interaction, but more that she did not succumb to wolves who held no position of power in her life. Naniko, the beautiful white creature who had accepted her into the family, was looked upon as a leader. Others, however, went unnoticed until they proved useful. In a world so different from Eternian life, there was no better way conduct her life.

Demi only studied the woman for a few moments as she rebutted with her own comment. What did she want, was a simple enough question but she felt as if she didn’t need to answer it. She stood arms crossed in the same fashion as the girl, letting time pass between them. Finally she stepped forward, obviously the smaller framed of the two but carrying an air of royalty about her. Still though she needed contacts and people to do less than honorable things for her. Since teddy was all about being respectable, she’d have to find other avenues to sate her addictions.

“Oh nothing, just out and about, you?” she asked in a simple enough manner, her own eyes studying her recent acquaintance with intrigue. This woman held her own power and she instantly felt admiration for her. If there was anything she would eventually come to respect out of anyone it was their strong headed nature. It was true that her curious nature tended to get her into trouble from time to time though.

she's a black magic woman
and she's trying to make a devil out of me

The shorter, golden woman turned her attention to the grey-blue sky as she waited for response. She didn't see the wolf step closer, didn't take any extra time to study her. Fiery red eyes wandered the desaturated blue color with scant amounts of curiosity. She missed Eterne. This wolf world was nothing special, and there was no reason for her and Miqui to continue a life there. Even Miqui sometimes found himself lusting after a return to their Mexican home. But it simply wasn't something that would happen. She refused to wait weeks under the heavy, foul bodies of pirates in search of payment for transport. She didn't want Miqui stealing their way, either. Barbados had been easy. Barbados had been so simple. Freetown was different.

Her ears twitched with the voice of the stranger. No real answer to her own question was given, but a question in return was spat out. "Thinking." The word was spoken in flat tone, blunt and unwavering. She would give no more information, finding it so unnecessary. Secrets of her life were required, for she was not of their 'normal' society. Even in Eterne, she would not have expressed more than required to get about her day. It simply wasn't how she did things. A sigh escaped her as she returned her eyes to the rather boring-looking woman. "Ess there a reezon you come to bot'ar me?"
