It had been nearly a month since that fateful day and Amaterasu was still an emotional wreck; she had been raped before but this had been the worst of them. Lucifer had been a true monster and had taken her several times that evening; to the point she had been sore the next day when he left her for dead in the oasis. Brought to tears she had remained hidden in the trees for a good two days; just to make sure she had some strength to move on from that now forsaken place. With no family or pack she really had no idea where to go; but it was then when she remembered Leon and the AniWaya pack. With only her leather satchel she gathered up some random fruit and any meat that she could scrounge up and figured that it was time to give Leon another visit. Relying on her memory and scents of her and previous trek had helped her made her way back to the border. She was not sure that she would be allowed in the pack as an outsider; but after telling her story she had been allowed in and she was very thankful for that.

It had taken her a while to get used to the AniWaya territory with all the huts and open fields. It gave her an Indian sort of feel but at the same time it felt safe; closely connected to nature like things really should have been. The pack had actually been very polite to her despite the fact that she had refused to talk to anyone. Having no home of her own she had opted to sleep outside during the nights; the torches and her fur keeping her warm. The soft grass had actually proved to be more comfortable than her old tent; and it was just nice to know that she was actually safe now. Of course her nights had been full of crying. Amy had been allowed to come back out every now and then; and she was of course lost of what was going on. So she had borrowed some parchment and a quill and decided that it was time to write her a letter explaining the whole situation. She had no idea where to start with a letter but of course it eventually got written. The hard part was how she would give it to herself, deciding that she might as well leave it in her satchel and hope that Amy red it.

Today however she was just sort of out and about the village as her fellow pack mates went on with their normal lives. She brought nothing to the pack and was really just a suffering rape victim hiding from the cruel world that had already taken so much from her already. She had yet to find Leon and she prayed that they would run into each other again. Since her late father he was the only male who seemed like she could truly trust. Grass crunched underneath her paws as she admired all the well built huts, somewhat wishing she he had her own to stay in. If it ever rained she planned on seeking shelter in the town hall and hoped that no one cared.

Ayasha was heading back from a patrol to see if Ralla had any meat for her to eat. She had just finished carving a fish out of a piece of wood and was really proud of it. Since Shiloh had shown her how to carve, she was getting really good. So she had a bit of a collection in her bag that Shiloh's sister had made and Shiloh had given to her. She didn't really know why she kept them with her. Maybe so she could give them to wolves to make their day a bit brighter.

She looked around the village as she came to it from the fields. She nodded to those she had seen and said hello to those she knew. Her nose took in the comforting smile of the Great Fire. Her mother took care of it and so it held a special place in her heart. The village was alive and so was nature. Her Tribe had this wonderful relationship with nature that she loved and shared. She always thanked nature and the spirits for the wood for her carving.

Her eyes a lit on a wolfess that she didn't really know but had seen around. She was quiet and sad. She paused and considered what to do. She decided to go talk to her. She approached softly but with enough noise to alert her to the presence of another. Hi. I'm Ayasha. What's yours? Her stance was relaxed and open and her face was friendly and smiling, which made her a lot like her adoptive mother, Ralla.

Amaterasu was content with just spending the day alone and wandering the territory; learning the area and making sure she felt at home. She had never talked to any of the other pack members and really she would not do so for the time being. She was not totally the most social wolf out there; only really haven spent time with her parents and siblings. There she was just sitting on a large stone close to some of the huts; just sort of minding her own business as she thought about what she was going to do. It was a little uncomfortable on her rear end but her pushed down fur made it a little more bare able than it should have been. Her paws brushed against the grass and she just soaked in the sun that was glaring down on her. Things were really looking down for her but at the very least she could enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of nature at its finest. There were so many things on her mind right now that she did not even know where to start. She just sighed to herself a little bit and thought about going to find Leon; just someone to confide in.

The sounds of a wolfess approaching her; the sounds were soft so that led her to believe that she was not dealing with an adult. She looked to the source and she felt her gut wrench when she saw her. That soft looking white fur suddenly reminded her of herself when she was younger; an aura of innocence that she had been robbed of and could never get back. There was no way she could make out this situation other than them conversing with each other; it was so much easier to trust females than males right now. Rudeness was not something she practiced around other females that had not proven to be rude first. She acknowledged the other females presence but it was really hard for her to smile right now. Her posture was slumped but relaxed and her tail casually swished around to show that she at least showed some interest.

“I’m Amaterasu” she said softly as she looked up at her a little bit; just so her eyes would not accidentally wander onto the ground. There was not much else she could say right now than her name. She knew no one of the pack asides Leon and she did not even know where he was at the moment. Amy was even more lost then she was and that did not really help her situation much in the long run. There was so much to handle that she did not even know where to start.

*huffs and puffs* I ish here... X.X (Nootau: Not visible)

The day was yet young and the sun was still growing strong in the sky, signalling the peak of spring and the summer that would come. Quickly the wolfess was realizing that Nova Scotia was a cool climate, even though the hot months were creeping up on them, and she didn't mind in the least. On the other hand, she was also realizing the darker truths behind her new duty; discipline, truth, and law. Ralla had not been so held within these things since her escape from her previous tribe, but now... Guilt was gnawing at her core as she wrestled with a personal demon that fought for dominance, and at its center was her mate; Kemo... What was she to do? No one else but the two of them and the other AniWayan knew, and Ralla didn't even know the other AniWayan. Was it someone amongst them? It couldn't be; there had been no reports other than Shiloh's rape, and that was done by a Cour des Miracles dog. It ate at her and worried her to the point where she began to beg Kemo to stay in the most obscure of Itse duties, which were primarily composed of watching the pups and menial tasks in the field. What was she to do...?

She thought about all of this as she made her way to the field, supposing Kemo was there and wanting to check up on him as she left the pups to be watched over by Nootau. She knew that he had changed--truly he had--but there was a difference between what she could forgive and what her duty demanded of her, and ever since she had expressed her fears to Nootau, she had tried her hardest to keep an eye on her mate. She never expected to come upon Ayasha there instead, although the surprise was not unpleasant in the least. The white child--for even though she was a Tsula Agateno, she was still young--was conversing with one of the newer members, a woman with a past almost as obscured as Ralla's. "Hello," she greeted the both of them, face not letting on to her personal torments. "I don't believe we've met, although you've seemed to have met my daughter already," Ralla said, walking over to Ayasha and stroking her hair affectionately. She found she quite liked being a mother; it was rewarding, and showing tenderness and having someone to show tenderness to was wonderful. "My name is Ralla. When did you come to our tribe?"

Moon walks. "Moon talks." Moon thinks.

There was something that was bothering this new woman, but what Ayasha couldn't tell. Her blue eyes swept over the white wolfess in curiosity. Hi, Amaterasu. Where are you from? She asked curiously. She wondered if she was from around here. The name was odd but that didn't mean anything. I like your name. Does it mean anything? Her eyes glittered with kindness.

Her attention was soon brought away from Amaterasu by the presence of her mother. She let out a soft 'woof' at her mother stroking her hair. She had a pleased look on her face as her mother did it. Hi, mom. She had noticed that there was some up with her mother and father but wasn't sure what. You Ok? She gave Ralla a gentle nuzzle.

Ayasha turned her attention back to her new friend. She was very easy about who was her friend. The only person that was not her friend was whoever hurt Shiloh, even if she didn't know all the specifics. She gave the two females big smiles as she looked between them.

Amaterasu was actually a little glad that she was dealing with a girl that sort of reminded her of a younger and more innocent version of herself. She was not expecting anyone else to show up at the moment, but deep down in her heart she was hoping that she would run into Leon again. She remained slumped on the rock and the scent of another female hit her nostrils, which caused them to flare momentarily. Eyes looked up from little Ayasha and saw the female, she wanted to laugh at the fact that she had met yet another wolf with fur as white and fair as hers. She carried authority on her shoulders and it showed quite well, where as she had suffering and a haunted past that was as easy to read as an open tome. She gave a failed and half dishearten smile to the new comer, she was still not ready to get over what had happened and she knew that it would be quite some time before that ever happened. “Hello there” she said in a soft and nearly inaudible voice. Her heart and mind were clearly not with her at the moment, they were elsewhere wrapped around what had occurred only a month ago.

It seemed that these two were mother and daughter, not to mention they were both full of questions. But she was new and questions were expected, and she of course was not thrilled but not opposed. Ayasha piped up again and that actually got more of a smile than anything else, she was so pure and innocent that it actually helped lift up her spirits a little. “I joined only a few days ago” though her reasons were her own and not to be disclosed to anyone but Leon. At the very least she had not been in heat so there was no way she was going to have that monsters litter. “I come from Alaska originally, though I have no previous pack or any family to speak of” she revealed to them both since her past was going to come to the surface eventually. She had to recall what that name had meant; since it was not really hers in a sense. “It roughly means goddess of the sun” though the origin escaped her at the moment. Amy had been born during the first morning of the Alaskan summer, having survived in her mother’s stomach through the extremely harsh winter.

Ralla and Ayasha’s interactions tugged at her heartstring and brought a tear to her eyes, they clearly loved each other just like a mother and daughter should. She tried to play it off but she was aware that her emotions were easily displayed to everyone. This was one of her sadder moments; it was really tough to act tough since she was supposedly surrounded by friends. So far her pack mates had wished her well and that made her wonder if she needed to be a fighter anymore. There were no real plans to ever leave the territory in fear that she meet Lucifer again. She knew deep down that Amy wanted to find a nice male and have a litter of her own; and she wondered at night if that was what she wanted as well. Though that was something she would consider for a later date.

Ayasha frowned thoughtfully at Amaterasu. It was apparent that something had happened to hurt her and make her scared. Her heart went out to the white female and her blue eyes were filled with sympathy. Amaterasu's voice was small and almost unheard. Her mind was somewhere else but Ayasha didn't know what.

The story about her coming only a few days ago had Ayasha nodding. She smiled and said, I'm glad you came. Is there any particular reason you came here? Her voice and eyes were filled with curiosity and she tilted her head to the side as she regarded the newcomer. Alaska seemed far a way. Where is Alaska? The question was directed at both her mother and Amaterasu.

As she nuzzled Ralla, Ayasha noticed that Amaterasu had tears in her eyes. She went over to Amaterasu and pulled out the wooden fish she had carved. Here. I made this and I want you to have. She held it out for the white female to take and gave her a big smile, hoping to cheer her up.

new posting order, maybe help?/ 564 words

She was aware that she was a mood killer right now; Ayasha and Ralla had not done a thing and they had been very nice to her so far. She looked and saw the sadness and sympathy that went deeply into those beautiful blue eyes; the sort of gaze that tugged at her heart strings even more. This was who Amaterasu really was, a scared woman that tried to hide from her feelings with being sarcastic, occasional sex with strangers and it was this little pup that brought her out. She rolled her shoulders a little from keeping them from getting too stiff; things had gone so quickly that it was nearly enough to make her head roll. These two reminded her so much of her mother that it was killing her just a little; they way they were so happy around each other. Amy would of course keep her dead family to herself since she never wanted to admit that it had truly happened. Her shoulders slumped again and even her tail looked like it was dead and lifeless; making no motion to sway or wag at all. Amy could take over right now but then she would just be confused and it would confuse the two wolves in front of her.

To the questions she was presented with she had no clue where to start; she was not even sure what part of Canada she was in. As to why she had come well that was of course her business; she was not about to go cry rape to bring even more attention to herself. “Alaska is further north of Nova Scotia, but I am not sure about the exact location” she stated as she gave Ayasha a little more attention. “And as to why I am here… that is personal, no offense”. It was of course to be safe from Lucifer but it was also to find Leon again. Now her legs were starting to cramp; having no idea how long she had been sitting on this rock. Her furry rump was starting to feel sore; but of course it was not like she was not familiar with that feeling. Then she saw that Ayasha was offering her a cute little wooden fish; this girl was certainly a very kind soul. She managed to crack a weak smile across her muzzle; maybe this was a sign that things were going to turn around for her. That little gesture had warranted some truth; on both parts of course.

She slowly reached for the fish, palming it and looking at it with her golden eyes. “Thank you Ayasha, I will treasure it for as long as I live”. And that was the gospel truth and it would be with her for as long as she lived. She did not know how to carve but she could tell that the little wolf had put some real effort into this little masterpiece. Holding it in her paw she sighed and looked up to them again, someone needed to know. “Okay I come here to find refuge from a certain male wolf and to find someone, a certain male that made quite an impact on me.” Now she had to wonder if these two girls knew who Leon was. “I do not suppose, either of you know Leon?” she asked in the hopes that they did.

Ayasha’s sharp eyes noticed that as Amaterasu looked between herself and Ralla, she seemed to…deflate. This was not a good thing and Ayasha’s heart went out to the female. She wondered what exactly it was that caused her to become like that but knew, despite her intense curiosity, not to pry into the Amaterasu’s life. So she just frowned slightly at the fact that she seemed to cause her new acquaintance sorrow. It was obvious that Ayasha tripped something in her memory.

About Alaska, she nodded, stilled confused, and glanced to her mother to see if she knew where it was. If not, she could just ask J’adore. J’adore knew almost everything and was her personal source of knowledge. At Amaterasu not wanting to explain further, Ayasha gave another nod. I understand. And she left it at that, even though she was wanting to know more but if Amaterasu wanted to not talk about then Ayasha wouldn’t push it.

She beamed when the older white female seemed to like her gift. She liked making other wolves happy by giving them carvings. But her attention was recaptured when Amaterasu decided to talk about why she came to AniWaya, even if it was vague. She nodded sagely, as though she understood perfectly, which she didn’t. At Leon, her ears perked up and she nodded emphatically. He’s kinda like my uncle. Well, more like his brother, J’adore is my “uncle.” She grinned. How do you know Leon? Her head cocked to the side as she asked the question.

sorry for the delay and short post, work is eating my muse/ 564 words

It was very clear that Ayasha could tell that she was feeling sad; to be honest it was hard to hide her emotions when she was feeling very vulnerable. So much had had happened to her that it was hard to keep track of it all. She was also aware that she was causing the young girl even more distress and it just made her feel even worse than before. Golden eyes looking up and she saw that Ayasha was frowning even more and it just wrenched at her heart. She sighed a little and looked down at the grass again; not really sure what she was going to say now. The subject of Alaska just made things even worse; given how that was the cursed place she had lost her whole family. That was the last straw and she was forced into tears once again. She had been holding these emotions back for days and well she was tired of holding it all in. She was sure to startle Ayasha and Ralla again but she could not help it; she needed to cry and she was going to until she felt better. She tugged her legs up and hugged them; crying softly into her snow white fur.

She cried for a good moment before she looked up to the females again; feeling just a little bit better now. The subject quickly changed when she finally told why she had come to the pack in the first place; of course her reasons were still her own. She noticed as the girls ears perked up a little and she was glad to see that she finally might have some sort of lead. “Well I am glad to find someone who knows Leon, I would really like to find him.. and soon”. Was she going to admit that she was raped to these two wolves, odds are not. And she was sure as hell not going to tell this young pup that she and Leon had done the nasty at least four times in a row. “I met him once on the border, he seemed really nice and I just want to say hi again”yeah that sounded like a good enough lie and she hoped that Ralla would not catch on that she was in fact lying through her teeth.
