NOTHING BUT FLOWERS

As planned, they met by noonday.

Razekiel himself had plenty to pack up; though a vagrant that carried little, what he possessed he cherished deeply. Flowers, joints, beads — they were replaceable, able for substitution. The charms and bracelets once crafted by Ocean Flower, or the guitar gifted to him by Aube de Musique, were hardly things he would risk leaving behind. His memories were trapped within, making themselves known only in the clatter of the charms' beads or in the strumming of the instrument's strings. He relished each sound, each memory that encompassed his vagrant lifestyle, now shifting suddenly to that of a leader. The coyote knew no fear, and with a smile embracing the smoking joint between his teeth, the prince breathed in the summer sun and wind deep into his lungs, the last to arrive at their meeting point: a carved tree that bent sideways in its luxurious home midway between Phoenix Valley and Dahlia de Mai, just outside the Sugarwoods.

Alongside horses borrowed temporarily from AniWaya to aid in the move, Dahlians and Valleymen stood together awkwardly, awaiting his arrival, but even Nayru smiled her cherry eyes at him in his approach. They would learn to mingle, learn to act as a family, a living machine beneath the gaze of the Great Mother. To see them together, what possessions they had in tow, brought the coyote great pride, evidenced by the grand grin that graced his hazy, sun-warmed features. Their expressions did not match, not at all; they were afraid, terrified to leave their homes perhaps. Razekiel knew moving from one place to another well — his soon-to-be family did not. "Ichika will be a home for all of us," he said after his first initial greetings, compassion behind his rose-tinted spectacles. "It will never replace Dahlia de Mai or Phoenix Valley in our hearts, no... but maybe it'll serve just as well, man. Let's start beatin' feet, dudes and dudettes; we got a right long trip ahead of us."

And with that, those that would come to found Ichika no Ho-en, alongside he and Nayru, departed the Sugarwoods. With sad eyes they might watch Phoenix Valley, or what had been the cyclops' lands, as it passed beside and behind them. Winds brought the scent of coyotes from the west at times; when they reached the mountains hours later, Anathema lay strong in the breeze. The dark, mildly chaotic and underground pack would soon be their closest neighbors, but Razekiel did not fear the proximity — nor did he fear declaring the bravado to those that followed him. They would be brothers and sisters as well, but of a different packland; Ichika would be of no harm or danger to they, and as he encouraged the ex-Dahlians and Valleymen, Anathema would surely remain in peace as long as their lands were not trespassed upon nor their agreements for peace betrayed.

Thanks to the summer hours, the sun set late upon them as they neared the height of the mountains, warm weather and bright skies aiding their way. As he had brought Nayru there what felt like just days before, Razekiel paused at the mountain's apex and opened his arms to the land that lay before them — Ichika no Ho-en, under a red-hot veil of the setting sun, in its lazy incline down the side of the mountain to the coastline. All that lay in their gaze was nothing short of beautiful, easily putting the marvelous Phoenix Valley to shame. Allowing the birds to serenade them, Razekiel smiled upon his members. "Here we are: Ichika no Ho-en," he beamed, though exhaustion lingered in his eyes. The trip had taken a majority of the day, and with the sun nearly set in the west, he wasted no time.

"Breathe it in, man, that's Ichika," Razekiel grinned, heaving a deep breath himself before straightening his glasses.

For the last few days Nayru had been making the trek back and forth with Saluce, slowly moving some of the vines from the vineyard to their new home, and the other plants into the Abbey gardens. Each trip she deposited more of Dahlia de Mai into Ichika no Ho-en and by the time they all arrived there would be plenty of their home there to greet them. Nayru left her personal items for the last trip. The one they would make all together. In a simple cloth bag she brought the books she meant to keep from Dahlia de Mai’s library and upon her body she kept the dagger and jewelry given to her as gifts. Everything else could be left behind, and she would help carry other’s possession as they made the trek in a large group. When she left the greenhouse for the last time there was only the smallest feeling of sadness, but it was greatly overshadowed by the excitement that wouldn’t seem to die.

Nayru led her own half of Ichikans early in the morning, Saluce’s horse and the few borrowed from Aniwaya strapped with items that some canine or another did not wish to leave behind. Although they looked bogged down with bundles, Nayru smiled upon them all reassuringly. It was the same smile she gave Razekiel and the Valley members when they met up at the bent tree. And it was the same smile she graced them all with as they arrived late evening up and over the mountain slope, staring down at their new home. Still the faces of the Valley members were not wholly familiar to her, but that would soon change. They were all a family now, and Nayru showed those she knew not as well the same amount of warmth she showered upon the members she had brought with her.

Razekiel was the first to speak as they all together surveyed the lands. Ichika no Ho-en. It felt so right to be there. The air was cool up in the mountain slopes, but pleasant with the long, hot trek behind them. Nayru shrugged her bundles off and turned to the others, knowing they were probably quite tired. “We’re home friends.” Cherry eyes skipped from face to face, knowing that even during the walk over the members had not bonded as they must sooner or later. “Would you guys like a meal, all together? I will go hunting, and perhaps someone else could start a fire? We can rest here and tomorrow begin to explore our new home. “ They all would have to comb over the area, find their own little houses within the land they all knew to be home.

Big Grin

Arye did not have much in the way of material items. She had only ever really carried things that she could scavenge from abandoned sites when she had been wandering months ago, not exactly lost, but without any due course or destination in mind. The way things had changed within the span of a few months was astonishing. She had spent the better part of the day now traveling in the midst of strangers, a caravan of creatures whom she would stare at out of the corners of her honey-colored eyes, and smile at warmly when their eyes met. But for the most part, Arye maintained a quiet presence.

She did not carry anything with her, having abandoned the earthy things that no longer represented anything significant to her. She was only attached to one thing on this green earth, anchored to something outside of herself. Yellow eyes touched the smoky colored figure with oceanic eyes. Pripyat was a constant companion and confidant, partner in crime, a sweet and thoughtful presence in her life, the first being to extend something more than cursory kindness to her. She could find new things to call belongings, and probably would go scouting with Pripyat within the next few days to do so, but what mattered now was following Razekiel and Nayru to their new home; it might be different than the life they had known in the Valley, but Arye wasn't afraid of changing scenery as long as Pripyat would be there to share in these new adventures.

Arye did not need to draw close to Pripyat to feel close to him, and she did not require reassurance. For as much as she was confused by the quiet voice of her heart, she was also filled with verve, energy, and excitement about what the future held. She stopped just short of Nayru, bright eyes shining as she smiled, gaze drinking in the endless expanse of something new, something with boundaries that she had yet to discover. "I'll come with you, Nayru," Arye said, her thirst for learning more about this new home coming to the fore. "I'll help you."

He hadn't wanted to crowd the black and white leader with his presence and had tried to keep in the company of his two children along with Saul, Siku, and the child that Saul had adopted, Wretch. However, he'd tried to keep a close eye on Nayru nonetheless. He was still slightly concerned about the amount of time that she had been spending with the leader from the Valley and had been quite watchful. Gideon was trying to piece things together in his head to as why she hadn't come back to him with some kind of an answer. Why she hadn't sought him out. Maybe his feelings weren't as important to her as he had thought...or maybe he hadn't been clear enough when they had last talked.

It was best to try and put it out of his mind, for the time being. He had many other things to worry about. Shelter would be his first priority once they reached the new lands. If there were any sort of houses that they could try and repair, it would be a good start. If not, then living in a cave or beneath a nice tree would suffice as long as he had the canines that he cared about most around him. He was very glad that Saul, Siku, and Wretch had chosen to accompany him and the pups to the new lands. He'd been surprised to see that Saluce had come along, as well, not having seen him for a little while. He hadn't had the chance to speak with him yet.

They reached the new lands and he put his own small bag of belongings down, the only things that he had chosen to bring with him to this place. Gideon lived rustically and hadn't had much to begin with, though. He patted Melee on the head as she sat down next to him, squatting down to give her a small hug. "Your foot's not bothering you too much?" He inquired. She didn't reply, still panting from their journey, but shook her head. "Good. We'll find someplace to stay for the night soon."

They were leaving today. The white and black leader had come the night before to tell them that the morn would find Dahlia de Mai officically over. They were to meet the carefree Phoenix leader at the crooked tree, halfway between the packs. And Saul had spent the night with his family- a send off to Dahlia. Food and wine provided by Siku were aplenty and the male had had a pleasent evening with Gideon and his children, Siku and Wretch. Nayru had been travelling back and forth to the new lands with the grape vines, a careful cargo that had required many trips for the black and white fairy and the grey behemoth. Sauln hadnt know what to do at first, what to take and what to leave behind. He'd managed to pick out most of his herbs and liquids that would take too long for him to make in the new lands, and had left most of the stuff that was within easy reach where they were going. And the small amount of personal possessions he had were at the bottom of his bag- the tiny golden harp he'd found on the beaches so long ago, the long red cape it had been hiding in. Small wood carvings that he'd started his craft on and the family dagger that Gideon had given him on their nine month mark. Small possessions but special none the less. And then Wretch, who had no possessions what so ever, and Siku who had the clothes she was wearing and a few small possessions, had left the cabin he'd worked so hard on. It would stand there for many, many years to come. Someone might come along one day and live in it. But the Stormbringer male would no longer live there and it made his heart ache to leave it.

Gideon's presence was a strength to the agouti male as the travelling Dahlians had made their way to the crooked tree halfway between the two territories. It didnt take long for Razekial to come into veiw, the sullen faces of the valley members trailing behind him. He could understand why they were a little apprehensive- they had to travel all this way without knowing half their party, strangers in a large group travelling across the lands. But they would soon know each other and the male was happy to stay with his family. They moved out mid morning and there was a certain pause about the progression that said this was their last chance to say goodbye to the homes that were no more. Saul kept his family close to that of his brothers, walking beside the dark hued brother that was his only blood family left. His family, including Wretch and Siku and Melee and Nayru and Saluce, they were all here. Green eyes switched constanly back and forward between Dahlians and his family, making sure they were okay. Occasionally his eyes wandered over the forms of the Valley men and woman, a blur of light colours for the most of it. But he was keeping an eye on them all the same.

It was obvious however that his dark haired brother only had eyes for the black and white female leading the group. Saul knew there had always been something going on between the two and although at first it had been an innocent friendship, the longing and protectiveness in his brothers eyes was clearly saying there was something more going on with the two of them. Saul wouldnt judge, but it was clear that something was going on that made Gideon unhappy. He would never call his brother jealous, but the protectiveness was bordering on the green emotion. And Saul occupied his time between looking at his brother looking at Nayru, checking the rest of his own pack to make sure they were okay and occasionally looking at his future family that were complete strangers to him. Saul often picked Wretch up to carry her for an hour before putting her back down again- although her back leg had completely healed by now, the huge journey to their new packlands was really going to tire the female out, as well as put strain on her leg. He checked often on Siku too, occasionally offering her a ride on his back so she didnt have to walk so much. She never took him up on it, but he didnt expect her too.

And just like that, the time had slipped away. They'd crested the mountains and there was Ichika. The first to speak was his new leader Razekial, followed by his old leader Nayru. They were both equal in power here, but Saul knew he was more likely to seek his Dahlian leader out if he needed help than he was the Valleyman. Still, he would get over it eventually. Nayru spoke up next, announcing that they would camp here tonight and that if someone could get a fire going that would be helpful. He unfortunately was no good at making fires. Instead he unhooked the sack from his back, stretching long back muscles out. He heard Gideon ask if Melee's foot was okay and smiled softly. The little girl, no longer so little, had hurt her paw and Saul had given her some painkillers back in Dahlia. But the trek had been long and arduous... still he was surprised when she shook her head. She was more hardy than he thought. Smiling he dragged a medium sized fur from his sack, bringing another one out to spread both beside each other. If Melee and Gideon wanted to join him and the two pale females, he was more than welcome to do so. "Home sweet home" He murmered with a soft smile before bringing some water out and allowing Wretch and Siku to drink deeply before taking his own fill. They would soon have to find another place to live.

Since the announcement of the merger of two packs and the migration toward Ichika no Ho-en (a word veiled in mystery but having a riveting tune to it), Alae was persistent on collecting the many jars and artifacts recovered from Halifax and the neutral territories to bring with her. A process of elimination to keep what was essential was slightly difficult, due to the fact there were so many plants that offered a variety of benefits, but the critical ones were the ones to keep, ranging from the Black Cohosh, Bloodroot, Solomon's Seal, and Feverfew to name a few. The ones Alae decided to leave behind were sprinkled outside her den site, a reminder to those future travelers that her home was once here, and would be a pity to keep even the most withered plants forever stowed away in glass jars. Den debris of bones, broken pottery, and even several stray feathers from Kael's wing was left; perhaps as a moment for any curious travelers in the future to know a pack with a great empire once reigned here, and the artifacts would forever be left for future interpretation. Fortunately there was nothing overly intricate as far as decorations went found in her den site since it was kept simply as a herbal storage and a sleeping quarters, so packing for Alae and Kael was relatively light; at least three leather bound shoulder satchels at best to get them on the move. With one last longing look at the den she would leave behind (one day surely planning to return to reminisce; it was important to keep the roots of your origins intact), Alae and Kael set out to meet with the gathering group of former Dahlians and Valleymen. Lacing some of the cargo carried as far as any vegetation brought, when every other item was secured, it was a sign that this was destiny set in motion.

Waiting for the arrival of every single member (the majority holding familiar faces to her, even some from Phoenix Valley who she encountered before), her face and eyes beamed with elation of the migration. Razekiel's voice held compassion of their new lands, and interested to get acquainted with an interesting looking figure (from his unruly dreadlocks down to his rose tinted glasses), without another word the band of Luperci set out to the destination of their new lands. Keeping pace with the group, the different scents of different territories were carried along the breeze, titillating her senses, but also smelling the incense of Nature herself, which appeared to grow more crisp and sweeter as they ascended upon the mountain that would lead them to their valley of peace and serenity. Small chatter was heard here and there, as Alae even made small talk to several of those she knew from Dahlia. Reaching the summit of the mountain, Razekiel outstretched his arms to the kingdom rested before them, their kingdom. The air here was so fresh it made her light headed with delight, taking in a deep breath to take in the scents of the pines and deciduous trees that protected their valley like loyal soldiers. Taking in as much as the five senses she could, the panoramic view was outstanding. Every land held its unique beauty, while Dahlia had taken captive of Alae well enough, even the Sidhe admitted this new land was much more resourceful than the one they struggled to fit back together. Putting peace of Dahlia de Mai and the respect for such in the past, there was an instant mask of restfulness and confidence to overcome her. Even Kael, usually perched without a word upon her shoulder, displayed signs of perkiness, as even his wide yellow eyes danced with prospect at the many trees here he could make a home out of. Ichika no Ho-en, it was love at first sight.

Nayru spoke of food, and the thought sent her jaws watering after a long trek. Perfect opportunity to settle down and learn more about the newly extended family of the Ichika, Alae was eager to help in any manner she could. Setting her clinking satchels down, her attention diverted to Nayru. "I'll run along with you to scout for scents. Whoever wants to start the fire, I've got spare incense to burn to make things a little more… festive." Alae remarked with a growing grin, seeing as how their first meal and gathering should be jovial in food, light, laughter, and even smells to make the setting a little more personalized. Alae possessed handmade incense to make the mood, and if the group was willing… would love to conduct a grateful session of meditation and spiritual bonding before the evening would expire for their exploration in the early morning.

300+

She was not happy about this at all and it showed in her posture and stance as she walked along in the midst of an entire pack on strangers. Who were these people? Certainly not her family, not like Phoenix Valley was. She stayed away from these new comers from the Dahlia pack and eyed them warily whenever one of them came too close. She could not see the one Dahlian that she did know, the pup minded woman Tawny. This entire idea had her nerves on edge and her jaw set in a grim frown, it would take her a long time to accept these people as pack, never mind the family that Razekiel kept harping on about. Her family was Temo and Noah and Ookami and Adonia and.. Jefferson and all the rest of them.

The trek took a long time and covered a large distance, crossing over the mountains close to Anathema, and quite near to Inferni, an act which put her fur on end and had her nerves become even more shit. The only thing stopping her from going completely insane at all these people was Temo's hand that rested in hers and his presence by her side and even then it was a close call. Finally they arrived at their new home and Jace looked upon the lands they could see with scorn in her eyes, thoroughly underwhelmed by the slice of land between the mountains and sea that had been chosen as theirs. Her bad attitude was redirected onto the coyote hippie as he began to talk more of his drivel. With a roll of her eyes she slipped away from the main group, muttering darkly to herself as she walked, ignoring the talk about food and starting a fire.

She wished that she had stayed in the previous lands of Phoenix Valley, at least then the surrounding environment would have been familiar to her.

OOC: Too long? :/
Word Count: 629

It had only been a few days since Tawny had been brought into the loving arms of Dahlia de Mai; the pack accepting her as one of their own without any dispute. The peace and healing of her mind and body was disrupted already though, as nearly the entire pack got ready to move and join with another. This wasn’t really a bad thing, because despite the female being scared of so many things, she was so curious! Every little thing she saw was something new to investigate and contemplate; storing all of the information she collected in her sponge-like brain.

Many of the Dahlians were ready to leave their lands on the morning of the move, the small female being woken up by the sounds of their moving. She had taken to sleeping under a rocky overhang near the building that the alpha female lived in, always wanting to study the ways of the older woman. When she saw everyone else gathering, she pulled her rabbit skin satchel over her head and crawled out from under the rocks, going to join the others. Her body was still too thin, only the dull multi colored fur making it hard to see the bones protruding from her flesh. The malnutrition was most obvious when she was touched; the feeling of her ribs and other bones standing out was not pleasing. Tawny had taken to avoiding the touch of others, not wanting to see the disgusted expressions cross their faces.

As they all began to walk, she limped along at the back of the pack, straggling behind a little bit. It was hard to say goodbye to these forests, but she knew that it was necessary to do so. After a while of falling behind, she had to speed up, closing in on the wolves carrying the most possessions and a few on horseback. The huge beasts frightened her, so she stayed away from them usually, unsure of their demeanors. Their large feet looked deadly, and she had seen a mountain goat kick a coyote in the face once, the hooves leaving a huge gash in the canine’s head. Tawny was not fond of being hurt, and her leg was already acting up like it had the month before. There was no sense in allowing one of the horses to accidently step on her, or kick her because they were not happy about something.

After a long while of walking, she began to smell other wolves, and eventually saw a large group waiting for them at the end of a small crest. They must be the Phoenix Valley pack, the ones that the Dahlians were joining with. It was so obvious that half of both packs were not pleased with this moving idea; most of them were tense and nervous looking. A few growls sounded through the air, but it was all cut off by the speaking of the two respective alphas. The male seemed a little bit off, his speech was kind of slurred and his body language was a lot more relaxed that Tawny was used to seeing. Nayru was soft spoken and addressed her pack like the family that they were, encouraging them all to get a move on and to keep up good spirits. At least, that’s how Tawny saw and heard it.

Hours and hours of walking, sometimes falling behind and sometimes catching up to walk in the middle of the large group. All of the wolves, from both packs, had merged together, walking near each other, not really caring because of the exhaustion that swept over them all. When the leaders began speaking again and both groups came to a simultaneous stop, she knew that they had reached their new home.

Temo Wolfe

He was not completely happy. Temo did not mind that the packs merged but it was the move. In his travels around Phoenix Valley, he had scavenged a number of items and tools to try and salvage in an effort to become a productive member. Most of which he had to leave behind in favor of the more important items like the few books and pages from books.

He and Jace proceeded on the trek with the others. His hand holding hers for comfort and to give comfort. He could tell that Jace was not happy and her happiness lessened with each step. They kept to themselves for most of the trip, avoiding those they did not know from the other pack, which for him was everyone. He had glanced around and could see that there was a mix of expressions, some happy or excited. Some, like Jace and him, were not.

His biggest concern was that they were heading north and into the mountain range. Flashbacks of the blizzard from last February flashed through his head. It had been his experience that the further north one goes, the worse those storms get. He hoped that between him and Jace, they will find a good, safe place to call home that will stand up to that kind of punishment.

The trek north, circumventing other pack lands currently occupied and then through the mountains had taken most all day. Tired from the long walk, he looks around at the lands and did not even hear their new leader talk. There was possibility here and he would try to fit in. Early on when they had joined the pack, Jace had been getting him to make meet others and make friends and with the addition of the other pack, he will have the opportunity for trying to make more friends.

Right now though, he had another concern to worry about and It was Jace. She had wandered off and Temo glanced around until he spied her. He walked over to her and gently took her into his arms in a hug. "Do not worry, I am here with you and I will always be with you regardless of the changes around us," he whispered to her.

Out of Character, Word Count, Etc.

If there was one regret Pripyat Soul had when he left Phoenix Valley it was simply that he had not said a proper farewell to his father. The two stubborn men had managed to avoid each other in the days when Phoenix Valley prepared for their move, and Pripyat Soul had marched off of Phoenix Valley with Arye Cybelle by his side and no other thought in his head. That he wouldn't see his father again did not cross his mind, Pripyat was sure that sooner or later one of them would cave, seek the other out, give a gruff "how are you doing?" Eventually. For now he only had the future on his mind. The future only consisted of Arye. It did not matter where they were, so long as they were. They together.

When they arrived after the long and rarely quiet trek, Pripyat first went to tending to the animals brought with the Valley member. Even as Razekiel and Nayru began to jabber about fresh beginnings and new homes, Pripyat moved to tying the horses and cows up. Prip had brought nothing with him to the new home but made himself responsible for the task of keeping the animal rounded together and he wasn't willing to pause and listen to the girl and hippy speak until he knew them to be safe. It had been tricky, but the other Valley members had been willing to help and not a soul had been left behind. Not one tiny chicken. When they all seemed secured for the night the boy turned back to the others, ocean eyes making out all the silhouettes in the dim lighting.

First his eyes went to Arye, who seemed to be immersing herself immediately with the other clan. She stood next to the two toned woman Nayru and Pripyat studied them together for a moment, both women's faces washed with an expression of excitement and vigor. The Ryu was hardly older than he or Arye, maybe a few months older, but suddenly he her too young. Had Jefferson handed Phoenix Valley to him he would have crumpled under the pressure, certainly he was not fit to run a pack, was she? And Razekiel reminded him in no way of Jefferson, except that he was the Patriarch of the family, their father in a sense. Although Razekiel had come from the Valley members, he too still was almost a stranger. It seemed just a month before he was so sure he would never leave the Valley or his father's side and now everything was strange and unfamiliar. Even his leaders.

Yet soon enough the strangeness would become common place and Pripyat knew if doubts still floated in the minds of any of the members, the doubts would die a little each day until contentment took their place. Flashing an encouraging smile that Arye did not need but received none the less, Pripyat pulled his eyes away from her and towards the others. Of the ex –Dahlians he only knew one, and that was Melee Soul. They were, in some way, cousins. Or at least Melee had insisted—but she only guessed that because of their names. Pripyat had thought the younger girl cute on her brief visit to the Valley and as he moved past the group he waved silently to her, blue eyes skimming over her father and uncle as he brushed past them. He nodded at the Valley members, Temo, Jace, Noah, Adonia... all of them were accustomed to his brooding ways and words were unneeded just then. Moving off to the woods he began to collect dry branches and sticks, bundling them in his arm until the pile grew tall and heavy.

*brushes dust away from table* I need a new one , haha. Sorry for the delay. Optime form.

Siku had not imagined such a journey would be ahead of them, the morning her family departed. She spent the morning packing food and the little items here and there that she had accumulated over the months she spent inside the cabin. Each time she left a room she glanced back, almost willing her golden eyes to memorize every detail of the wooden shelter Saul had created for them. Siku knew that they would not be going back. She watched as Saul gathered the most important of his things and packed her own few things herself. There was the book Nayru gave her, an encyclopedia of plants. There was a faded black dress she had found, worn and frayed but still usable and fitting. It was awkward to wear at first but she grew accustomed to it. Today she wrapped the book in it as protection from the weather.

Siku had also scavenged a couple of buildings after finding out they were to leave. She looked through the vineyards, managing to find three unbroken bottles of wine. They were a little hard to carry on their own, but once she got them back to the cabin Siku packed them away for the trip properly. Before they left, the white faced Dahlian circled the cabin and tried to ease her anxious heart. She would miss everything about their cozy cabin, but homes could be replaced and her family could not. It was without regret that Siku finally walked away.

Now sitting among a mix of dear friends and strangers , the petite white woman longed just a little for what used to be home. Wine bottles and book splayed out next to her, Siku curled herself up on one side of Saul- Wretch on the other. Golden eyes studied new faces, and lingered on the ones that she recognized. Gideon, Nayru and Alae were the only others she could name, but technically they were all family now. Siku glanced back at Saul, and sighed softly. They were here, and now it was time to relax and celebrate. It had gone along so smoothly, and Siku was impressed with both Nayru and Razekiel. Granted the trip was long and taxing, Siku knew it all to be worth it as she gazed around with love. Their new home, it was beautiful.

Plans and ideas already circulating in Siku's mind, her eyes snapped up as Razekiel began to speak. A smile grew on her lips as he spoke. Breathe it in. All the negative feelings Siku had built up against the man seemed to dissipate along their journey, for she could not help but feel comfortable and loving around the strange soul. He was just so chill. Siku closed her eyes, and let her head rest on Saul's shoulder as she enjoyed the moment. The hardest part was over. Now Nayru urged them to settle down for the night, set up a fire and eat. Siku moved to unpack the prepared food and the wine she brought, and was glad she had found three bottles as she glanced around at the group again. Perhaps it would be just enough. Along with the sweet tart liquor, she had brought along plenty of dried meat to share too. Slightly unsure of what to say though, Siku bit her lip shyly and moved to stand as Alae offered her incense. Gathering up her nerves despite the strangers around her, Siku leaned down to grab the bottles of wine and moved toward the center of the pack.

"Nayru," Siku greeted her leader lovingly, nodding as she could not wave with her arms full. She knelt to the ground, unloaded her arms of the meat and drink, and then stood again to motion to Alae with a friendly smile. "I've brought wine for everyone, and there is some meat as well." Siku spoke softly, as she had never interacted with the wolves of what was Phoenix Valley before. To be honest she was a little shy. Now Siku looked over to Alae, and her heart eased a little. The two women had never even exchanged a word, but still Siku felt a connection to the fellow former- Dahlian. "I will make the fire, too, I guess." Siku grinned awkwardly, her broken fang quickly causing her to close her mouth again. "As for incense.. I've never used one before; just light the tip?" She continued, golden eyes glancing up at Alae curiously. Secretly, Siku hoped that maybe her open actions would urge the others to break the ice as well.
