Shiloh's Back! / Word Count: 588 (5 points)

So much had changed since Shiloh had gotten lost in the snowstorm and wandered away from the 'Souls region. She missed her family so much and wanted to return so badly, though she had enjoyed her time outside of the pack she had called home. She had made some new friends, one of them even offering to return with her to see her home. He was such a gentleman and a welcome addition to her return party. She sat up tall on top of her horse as the two began to make their way towards the 'Souls area. She could not wait to see her brothers again. She wondered if they had missed her as much as she missed them. The she wolf sure hoped they were maintaining themselves and not letting themselves get too dirty since she had left. She would have to make sure they were clean before she even touched them. She hated getting dirty and always made a big fuss about it even if a little speck were to get on her. Such behavior was not exactly favorable for Lewis, though he didn't really mind.

The wolf dog began to lead the horse towards the old lands where Dahlia de Mai used to be, though he stopped. Shiloh looked around as Lewis sniffed the air. "It doesn't look like anyone's been here for a while." The she wolf had to agree as they ventured in towards the main city. It looked like the place had been abandoned. It looked like more had changed than she had hoped for while she was gone. She wished she had returned sooner so she knew what had happened. The brown man began to lead the horse away and back the way he came. He tried to pick up the scent trail so that they would be heading in the right direction and find where the pack had moved to. Shiloh adjusted herself on the saddle as she looked ahead. "Ah ha." Lewis seemed to have caught something and began to make his way towards the mountains. It looked like they had moved quite a distance away. She wondered what had caused the move of the whole pack.

The princess watched as the tall structures came into view and the new scent began to fill their noses. It was one that Shiloh did not remember from her time here and wondered if this was the place her brothers were now living at. Lewis paused as he sniffed around and caught a wiff of the strong scent. It must have been the borders to this new pack and he dared not to cross. "We have arrived." Shiloh smiled to the wolf dog as she looked around. "Indeed we have. This place has sure changed since the winter storm. I hope this is the right place." Lewis returned the smile and turned back towards the direction of the pack's territory. He gave out a light howl to let someone know that they were at the borders and were looking for someone. If this really was the place, then the girl sure hoped it would be at least one of her brothers who would hear the howl. Her eyes peered down for a moment to the earth and figured it would just be better to stay up on the horse for now. She was sure that Eavan would be able to move somewhere more fitting for her if needed. She gave a soft sigh as she waited for someone to come along.

It had been just over ten days since the mateship ceremony and the harvest festival. Just over ten days since he'd found Tawny at her home, bleeding and panicking. It had been a horrid sight to see the little girl in, but it had been inevitable. A bond had been forged between the two of them as he'd held her while she cried and then cleaned her cuts and tried his best to heal her heart. He had no idea if it had worked, but she'd uncurled herself from him a more determined person. He wasnt so worried about her anymore, but Melee had returned a few days ago troubled and she wouldnt talk about it. It felt as though the weight was beginning to crush his shoulders once more, but he knew it would always be this way. It was in his genetic makeup to worry about his family, to care and notice when they were upset or hurt. And Melee was looking just a bit upset when she'd came in the day before. He tried to push it aside- Melee would come and talk to him if she wanted to and that was the end of it.

The male rarely spent his time patrolling the borders in Ichika. It wasnt that he didnt enjoy doing it, it had a lot more to do with having far too much else to do than patrol the borders. He was at the ranch when the call came, masculine and completely unfamiliar. But there was a calmness about the howl, a certain efficiency that made the young agouti male pack away the brushes he was using to groom Hermes and back out of the ranch. He would have taken the huge horse, but Maia was beginning to trust the dark male and Saul didnt want to damage their relationship right now. It just might be the reason he managed to get some tack on her. Mind preoccupied with thoughts of his unruly horse, he didnt catch the scent until he was almost upon the borders, He looked up then, green eyes widening as a familiar pale figure atop a horse came into veiw, a dark male beside her.

"Shiloh?"

He breathed, coming forward and stopping a few metres away. He probably smelt a lot like the horses he'd been grooming and while there was very little dirt on his coat, he knew better than to expect an embrace from her at the moment. Green eyes looked curiosly at the dark wolfdog she was with and wondered what his part in her story was. "Where have you been? We havent heard of you since the snowstorm and that was nearly half a year ago" He said, wondering what on earth she'd gotten up to in that time.

Shiloh didn't really have anything to do until someone showed up and she would be able to ask about her brothers. The bored face crept across her face as she sat tall up top of Eavan. She wouldn't mind working on something to keep her busy while she waited, though surely it wouldn't take too long for someone to hear Lewis' howl and make their way over to them. She didn't like waiting and crossed her arms as she kept her cerulean gaze wandering around the lands. Lewis noticed her look, though there was not much that he could do about it. She was just going to have to wait until someone came by to talk.

The she wolf's ears moved up as she thought she heard something coming in their direction. It was nice to see that the wolves of this new pack were swift with their responses. She fixed up her hair and made herself presentable for whoever it was that was coming. Her orbs remained focused on the direction that the one was coming from. She noticed a figure coming into view, though couldn't quite make out who it was until he was closer. She could not believe what she was seeing. It was her brother Saul who had heard her friend's call. This day couldn't have gotten better. If Saul was here then that meant that Gideon had to be here too. Why would the siblings ever be apart? A warm smile came to her face as she gaze down to her brother. "Saul, it's so wonderful to see you again. I've missed you, Gideon, and Ascher."

Lewis stretched out his hand and offered to help Shiloh down from her horse. She gently took his hand and slid down from the saddle. She then turned her attention back to her broher as he began to ask her what she had been doing since she was lost in the snow storm. She gently recrossed her arms as she began to answer. "After I got lost in the snowstorm, Lewis found me and took me back to his pack. It was nice there, though I missed you all too much and had to come back. He joined me and wanted to see my home." The wolf dog gave a small bow, his gaze on the other male. "It's a pleasure to meet you Saul. Shiloh spoke often of you and her other brothers." As he raised his body back up, the girl looked over her brother. She could smell the horses on him and wasn't going to get any of that on her. "So what have you been up to Saul? How are Gideon and Ascher? I assume they are here with you too."

As the two siblings caught up, Lewis made his way over to Eavan and led her to his side. He gently pat the horse on her neck as he soon returned his gaze to the male. So far he seemed like a really nice wolf. He could not wait to meet the princess' other siblings.

The astonishment at finding his sister here was plain on his face, despite his attempts to cover it up. He couldnt help his emerald gaze from wandering to Lewis every few moments, wondering why he was here, what part he had played and what his role was. Shiloh was never one to make it one her own and although Saul loved her very much, he also knew that she was terrible when it came to solitary survival. From atop her horse, Shiloh expressed her joy at finding them and Saul grinned at his little sister. She was so much more refined than her unruly brothers, no matter what life experiances threw at them. Still, the male couldnt keep his eyes away from Lewis, it almost seemed in a protective sort of way. His eyebrows rose a fraction as he leant a hand to help her down and Saul was surprised his sister had let the male touch her, even if it was just the briefest of touches through their hands. She kept her distance, smelling the horses on him no doubt.

"We've missed you too Shi..."

He murmered, fingers twirling the wooden owl on the cord around his neck. Sometimes he had no idea what to say or how to act and it was one of these moments. While he longed to scoop his little sister up in his arms, he knew she would throw the biggest fit about it, so he remained where he was. Shiloh would approach him if she wanted to embrace him and he already knew that. For a moment he thought about their family, so big already. They were going to throw Shiloh into the mix and Saul could see the arguments arising from his little sisters prissy attitude to most things. He could see Shiloh and Melee clashing, which Saul imagined would be rather funny. Shiloh began to speak then, answering his question. He looked over at Lewis then, nodding softly to him in a silent gesture of thanks. He dread to think where Shi would have gotten herself if this boy hadn't found her. It was a little strange that he wanted to accompany her back and his mind threw him the easiest answer it could- Lewis saw her as more of a friend. Pushing the thought away, he watched as the wolfdog bowed, an odd motion but one Saul accepted.

"The pleasure is mine, Lewis. Had it not been for you, my dearest sister would probably still be wandering the wilderness. I'm glad you found her and took her in- it was most gracious of you."

The words sounded odd in his ears, but there wasnt a lot he could do about that. Lewis' formality had sparked the same in response and Saul felt his body move in a slight bow in return. Lewis moved off to tend to Shiloh's horse then and Saul smiled softly. The horse was beautiful, there was no doubt about that. Shi's words made him look back to her, a light laugh escaping him. "In six months? Oh, you know, not a lot." He jested, thinking of everything that had happened to him and the family since the snowstorm. A huge amount, and there was too much to simply divulge right here. "There's so much thats happened Shi... Conor left us and Nayru took up leadership... And then we merged Dahlia de Mai and Phoenix Valley just over a month ago to create Ichika no Ho-en, up here past the mountains. There's a hell of a lot to tell, so perhaps we could save it for when we are more comfortable?" He said, before her second question made him pause. "Gideon is here, as are the rest of the family. But Ascher hasn't come home yet and I have no idea where he is... I thought maybe you two had stuck together when you got lost, but apparently not." He sighed, rubbing a hand across his face as he looked across to Shiloh. She hadnt changed much in half a year, but he suspected he had changed rather a lot since they'd last seen each other.

"You came home..."

He sighed softly, thinking of the hundreds of times he'd thought about his lost siblings, knowing there was no way for him to leave everyone and go and look for them in the random wilderness. Shiloh had returned though and there was every possiblity that Ascher would too.

Shiloh could see the look of surprise in her brother's face as she sat there on her horse. She could understand why he would be surprised about her coming back after being away for so long, though did he really believe that she might not ever return? Surely her brother didn't think in such a way. She believed he knew one day she would be coming back. Her cerulean orbs moved over to the corner of her eyes to look for her brother's reaction when Lewis offered his hadn to her. It looked like he was more surprised about that than the fact that she returned after being lost for so long. Normally she wouldn't take the offer unless the one offering was quite the gentleman, though Lewis was the perfect example. He always treated her with respect and kindness. She sure hoped her brother would not so protective of her because he didn't know her friend.

The she wolf watched as Lewis smiled to her brother and moved off to tend to her horse. He was so kind and formal. She was actually a bit surprised that he was able to get such a formal response out of Saul. She didn't espect him to be so formal. Her attention moved back to the wolf as he began to speak about the things that had happened since she had gotten lost. The main thing that caught her attention was the story behind what happened to Dahlia de Mai. So it wasn't that they just moved from their original area, they also merged with another pack. She didn't really remember Phoenix Valley, even in the time that she did spend in the 'Souls region. She had to admit that the new pack had a nice name to it. It looked like Ichika no Ho-en was going to be her new home from now on. She nodded to him as she spoke. "That sounds good. I could use a rest after traveling. Perhaps we could talk after that."

Saul began to speak of her other brothers, mentioning that Gideon was here, though Ascher still had not returned. A small frown came to her face as she thought of him. They had gotten seperated in the storm and didn't know where he had wandered off to. She hoped that he would make his way back here soon. Hopefully he wouldn't get confused about the merge of the packs like she did. She shook her head gently. "Sorry Saul... I don't know where Ascher is. We got seperated in the storm. I hope he's safe." Her eyes moved back up to the wolf as he repeated about her coming back. She gave a bit of a sassy look on her face, though kept her smile. "What Saul? Were you expecting me not to come back?" She had hoped he really didn't think that, though he was not helping himself any. Lewis took to the she wolf's side as Shiloh played with the necklace Saul made her. "So Saul, where do you live? Do you think we could stay with you until we can find our own place in the pack?"

He could see her, trying to assess the situation. Saul wasnt sure what he thought at the current moment in time, other than gratitude to the male for taking in his sister when he was sure they had sustained damage to their homes as all of Nova Scotia had. He was busy in the background now, sorting out the horse that Shiloh had bought back with her. He took the time to properly look at her then, make note of how much smaller she was, but how much she'd grown. There were rather a few embarrassing places that Saul averted his gaze, most noticeably at her growing chest. There were some things he didnt need to see and he was, in some way, glad that they had not been around each other in the first stages of their puberty. It would have been awkward enough with the hormones flying, let alone not being able to treat his sister in the same way. Instead he focussed on her eyes, how like Ascher's they were. In their life, they had perhaps spent four months together as four siblings, and that was stretched out far between gaps of long separation. It wasn't fair, but that was the way it was.

Her most graciousness agreed that that conversation was better digestible when they were more comfotable and settled. There was no doubt in Saul's mind that she was going to live with them- she would have Apartment Three opposite Gideon and Nayru. He chuckled softly as the thought of the two, although there was a tinge of sadness that Shiloh had missed the mateship ceremony and the harvest festival. It had been great to see everyone out in force and with only a few members missing from their celebrations. It was gone now and there was nothing he could do about it. But she would be here for Melee and Range's first birthday and everything else besides. "Yes, that would be better. Although you should probably know that you missed Gideon and Nayru's wedding... it was sweet." He said softly, telling her that she had a sister in law now. Then again, Nayru had always been like a sister in law for most of their lives. It had been Gideon who she had always been closest to, but she'd been a near constant figure in their lives since they'd come to Dahlia.

She listened with a soft expression on her face as he spoke of Ascher. The youngest brother, while still older than Shiloh, was always the more fragile of the four and the fact that he remained missing was weighing heavily on the eldest's shoulders. "Its okay Shi, its not your fault. I hope he's safe too." He stated simply, although the worry lines were already beginning to form. In his mind, he had seen Shiloh and Ascher together, helping each other. But now Shiloh had returned without him, the image of Ascher, lost and alone in the wild, would plague him for weeks. Green eyes darkened softly as his sister sassed him, a common occurance when they were little. Still, she couldnt have known the thougths behind the words- he had been shocked that she'd returned simply because nobody else had. Conor had not returned, Dreyrugr had not return, since Eclipse's birth, Bris had been as a ghost and now she was gone too. Saul had come to realise that once family left, it wasnt going to come back. Shiloh was here to prove that wrong. "Perhaps I shall explain my reasons at the house?"

He said, before listening to her once more. He grinned softly towards his sister. Not only did he had a good place to live- he had a whole apartment just for her. And since there was a second bedroom in all of the apartments, Lewis would be able to stay with her if he wished. "My adopted daughter Wretch and I found an apartment building on our first morning in Ichika. I named it Cerne Rise and have been fixing it up ever since. We all moved in there about a week after we found it and have been doing what we can to return it to its former glory. There's a few extra apartments that dont have owners yet... one is yours." It was a simple enough concept in his mind. He'd deliberately chosen the apartments because of their number of rooms- he always hoped that his siblings would return to claim them one day.

Not sure why I'm needed, but here I am! Big Grin Slight PP, because Raz likes to hug people without their permission. Feel free to beat him. XD

He heard the summoning, announcing howl but did not make a great rush to answer it; there were so many able to respond to visitors and accept any potential joiners that Razekiel often had to remind himself to find more important, leader-y things to do that others probably weren't supposed to. Had the call been anxious or commanding, the coyote might have attended to it more promptly, but only at a leisurely and curious pace from his hut did he start out. Along the way Lark appeared, the stallion lending his spine to the coyote temporarily and together they trotted out after the sound.

By the time he appeared, however, Razekiel seemed to have almost completely forgotten the point of his little mission. Holding onto the stallion with only his knees, Razekiel swung his guitar over his chest and started playing and chanting, his enthusiasm and wretchedly loud voice undaunted by its consequent tunelessness.

"Well, hello!" he exclaimed when pausing enough to see them; immediately he noticed the joy in Saul's eyes and the comfort level of the stranger's. He swept off the horse in once quick movement, flipping the guitar onto his back before walking up and quite blatantly wrapping his arms around the stranger in a wide-grinning embrace. "Saul, my man, who is this lovely daisy I see? Wait, wait, don't tell me—" he jumped back, slapping hands over his cheeks, "—you're related, right?! Fallen from the same apple tree, yeah?!"

Sorry again for the mix up Lin XD / Word Count: 609 (5 points)

Shiloh watched her brother as he looked over to Lewis and then back to her. She noticed him looking over her, good to keep his eyes away from the more private areas of her body. Now that his eyes stopped looking over her, she was able to look and see just how much taller her brother had gotten. She was so much smaller compared to him and sometimes wished she could grow as big as him. She was sure that her other brothers would look like Saul, much taller. Why did she have to be cursed to be the smallest one in her family? Perhaps it was a fair trade that they treat her with so much respect if she had to deal with being the smallest. She smirked at the idea, though didn't want to share it. She would keep in to herself and bring it up if the right time ever came up.

Saul then began to mention that she had missed her brother's wedding. She could not believe that she had waited so long and now to find out she had missed something important in her brother's life. "Really? I can't believe I missed it. I'll have to see Gideon later and congradulate him. Perhaps I'll be able to meet the she wolf coming into our family as well when I see him." She wondered if she would also get a gift for them too. Gideon didn't seem like the romantic kind whenever she was with him and perhaps she would be able to make something for the lucky she wolf. Perhaps a nice flower necklace like the one she wore would be the perfect gift to give.

The cream she wolf didn't care much for the reasons that Saul brought up his statement. She just could not believe the reaction she had gotten from him. She didn't want to think that she would never return back here, even though Lewis' pack was very kind to her. She had missed her family so much and was greatful that her new friend had come back with her. Her ears moved up as he mentioned about the apartments, though more so at the fact that her brother had adopted someone to be his daughter. Their family was ever expanding and it was nice. She would like to meet her new niece. Hopefully she would be better than the active Melee. She gave a small nod to her brother as he mentioned there were apartments with no owners. It would be the perfect place for her to stay. "Thank you Saul. Why don't you lead the way and we'll pick on out for me."

She was ready to go, though it looked like there was one thing that distracted them from going. It was someone she had never seen before. He had a dark coat with a light under belly, as well as a deep red marking on his face. She didn't mind meeting someone new, though was not pleased that he thought it was alright to just come up and hug her. She raised her arms away from him as she snorted a bit. "Excuse me? Who do you think you are hugging me without asking?" He then turned his attention to Saul, guessing that she and the taller male were related. She just kept her arms crossed as she stared at the darker male.

meh, raz is here now, no worries! <33

The siblings sized each other, careful to stay away from inappropriate areas. For a moment he thought of Melee and Wretch. What was it going to be like when they started growing in places that were not appropriate for a father and uncle to look at. Wretch might not be biologically his but she was his daughter in every other way. She'd been with him since she was just a few months old and there was nothing holding back the bond that the two had created. For a long time, Saul was the only person Wretch spoke to, let alone interacted with. Things like that always created a strong and lasting bond. But he had no idea how to deal with females he cared for going through puberty. Perhaps a simpler, don't look and don't ask would be a better approach, but it was difficult alongside his role as healer. He knew at one point, he would be called to the bedside of a mother in labour and everything would be laid bare then. Until then, he would just have to make sure he gave them all the privacy they needed.

Green eyes watched disappointed graze over his sisters procelaine face at the thought of missing Gideon's wedding. It was such a shame she hadnt thought to come home just a few days before. But there was nothing they could do and Saul was certain that Gideon had already forgiven both of their lost siblings for not being there. It wasnt their fault and there was no blame to be had. Shiloh spoke then, saying she would have to track down Gideon later. Saul intended to put her and Lewis in Apartment three, which was right across the hall from Gideon and Nayru. He was sure they would be able to catch up quickly. He smiled softly as he thought of Nayru, before looking back to his sister. "You remember Nayru? Just a little bit older than us, I'm sure you met her back in Dahlia." He said, knowing full well his sister knew who Nayru was. Still, if she wanted to get properly acquainted with Nayru, she was free to do as she wished.

He should have expected Razekiel to turn up, although the red face coyote knew perfectly well that there were a handful of members in Ichika who could accept members into their family. Still, he couldnt have known that Lewis' howl had already been answered, there was never really any way to tell. However, the male came trotting up on the roan horse that Saul was certain liked nobody but Razekiel, a guitar in hands, singing away to himself. Saul almost laughed at the image, glancing from the singing leader to the white rocks lacing the borders. Their flowers were growing strong, although they needed a bit of nurturing before they would truely mark the borders with sight. Razekiel spoke quickly, dismounting and gripping Shiloh tightly in an embrace. Green eyes widened in shock and his stomach turned softly. Shiloh was more than likely to flip at this flippant sharing of bodily germs, which Saul had no doubt Razekiel was covered in them. He spoke, asking who Shiloh was, before dramatically announcing that they were related. Saul nodded, waiting to speak. Before he could utter a word, his sisters indignant tones escaped into the air.

Compared to the fits he'd seen her throw, these words were tame. He was very surprised that she hadnt tried to brush away any debris or dirt from her coat. Perhaps Lewis's pack had taught her a bit about manners, or maybe she'd been in the wilderness too long to care for the dirt on her coat. He severly doubted it. Looking between the two as Razekiel backed off, Saul let out the breath he'd been holding. "Excuse my sister Razekiel. This is Shiloh, my only sister and her companion Lewis, who she's been staying with since February. Shi, this is Razekiel, one of the leaders of Ichika no Ho-en. I was just about to get to the Creed and the task when you arrived, so I'm sorry for wasting your time!" He said, letting him know that he was sorry he'd come out here to find someone else dealing with it. He looked down to Shiloh, before starting to speak.

"Repeat after me Shiloh, and then I'll do Lewis. I am a Stormbringer, I am an Ichikan. I seek love in my heart, knowledge in my mind, and wisdom in my spirit. I will love my fellow Ichikans and know them as family to the fullest I can; I will devote myself to my duties and learn from my work and the work of others; I will try my best to embrace all walks of life, faith and love. I understand that if I devote myself to love, knowledge and wisdom I will learn my path to true personal happiness, and find my place in the circle of life." He spoke each sentence clearly, pausing to allow her to respond in kind. Once she was done, he turned to Lewis, beckoning him forward and repeating the process with him. He repeated the Creed back to Saul with a polite formalness which Saul smiled towards.

"Welcome to Ichika, Shiloh and Lewis. I have a task for you both to complete- I would like you both to catch three fish from the ocean and present them to three members of Ichika in a gesture of friendship. You should take another member of Ichika with you, and perhaps you could present a fish you catch to them." He said, knowing his sister was going to find it hard but also knowing that it would do her good. He glanced back at Razekiel, unsure of whether the male wished to stick around or not. Then again, Shiloh had already expressed the need to rest and catch up with her brother, so Saul spoke once more. "Perhaps on our way through Dahlia Valley, we could drop your horse off at the Ranch and continue on home?" He said, waiting for Shiloh to accept or reject his offer. They were fast running out of stall at the front of the barn and Saul was already planning to fix the back of the barn. He just needed some willing helpers is all.

Accepting you now so you can start your initiation task thread and other stuff, but let's still finish this up Big Grin 'Tis a good thread. Unless you guys prompt Raz to stay, he'll be gone after this post. I don't care either way. Smile

The Seiryu did not retract in shame, did not bow his head nor tuck his face away in embarrassment; when wrestled away by the Dawnrunner, he only backed up with a skip in his step and laughed heartily, entirely undaunted by the entire reaction. Not all were as loving as he, this he knew, but the man held an inner hope that his own optimism and free spirit would somehow rub off on others. Ichika was a place to relax and share in one another's' kindness and love in peace, and Razekiel could only hope this Shiloh would open up to the same with time. Considering the kindness of her brother, the Seiryu believed she was fully able.

"Hahahaha," he gurgled, waving his hands a little as he stepped back with a wide, earnest grin. "Peace, my lily, peace. Namaste, man, namaste! Welcome to Ichika!"

Though undaunted despite being shrugged away, the man knew he had stumbled into a reunion of sorts, and already had not quite made himself welcome. His a shrug of his own shoulders and a kindly smile, the man whistled to the side and was soon joined once again by Lark. "Ichika is a place of peace and love, my lily," he said, hoisting himself over the blue roan's back with some help from the stallion, "and I would be real jazzed to help you find it. Give me a holler if you need some help fishin', yeah?"

And with a chuckle, he started away.

Welcome to Ichika no Ho-en!

Welcome and congratulations! You are now free to begin posting as a pack member, even if your joiner thread is not yet completed.

Your first task as a member of Ichika no Ho-en is to create a thread within the InH subforum performing the as directed by the Ichikan who accepted your character. This thread must be within the Ichika no Ho-en subforum and must have at least one other InH member within it. Feel free to create an all-welcome thread, and refer to the link given above or to the leaders in PM if you have any questions! Smile

Of course, there's plenty more to do, too!:

  • Look through the Ichika territories for interesting environments and scenarios to create threads in.
  • Your character has been titled as a Dai-In, but if your activity is consistently good, they can be promoted up into the Specialized tier of ranks, where your character will have a job that is theirs and theirs alone for the entire pack. Take some time and look through the and get a feel for where your character might fit for when that time comes!
  • Glance through the pack game and get a feel for what you can post about that will earn your points towards things like icons, titles, player-drawn art and more!
  • If you haven't yet, take some time to thoroughly read through Ichika no Ho-en's and policies pages so you may get a better feel of how the pack works and what you may or may not want to aim for with your character.

Please don't hesitate to PM the with any questions or concerns you have at any time! If you would like to request posting tables, avatars or signatures made for you, you can politely do so in the Talents subforum. If you're feeling lost or confused about the game, don't hesitate to post a question in , or to seek out a Mentor! We're really happy to have you with us, and hope you'll enjoy Ichika no Ho-en!

Shiloh still could not believe she had missed her brother's wedding. She wished she had known ahead of time and would have been able to return home sooner. She blamed herself for wanting to stay in Lewis' pack for a little longer and now she was paying for it, htough her brother did mention a name that was familiar to her. Nayru was one of the old members of Dahilia de Mai as well. She hoped she too was doing well with the new life in this pack. She nodded to him as she spoke. "Yeah I remember her. Is she doing well?" Come to think of it, she wondered why Saul had mentioned her name considering the wedding. Surely everyone in the pack would have been there, so why mention her name in particular. Could it be that she was the one that her dark brother had been married to? "Wait Saul, you mean that she and Gideon were the ones getting married together?" She was sure of it. She wondered if the black and white female liked jewelry. If so then she would have the perfect gift for her.

Shiloh began to clean herself as she listened to the odd coyote laugh and it even seemed he already had a nickname picked out for her, not that she didn't mind the name he made. "My lily... I'll have to keep that one in mind." Lewis smirked at the idea which brought a small smile to her face. She always liked lilys and was always wearing on in her hair. She hoped there would be pleanty for her to use here in the pack lands. Her brother then began to intriduce the two of them to each other. She could not believe that the stanger who came, offered her a hug, and even nicknamed her off the spot was one of the leaders of this pack. Her whole mood seemed to change at that moment and even offered her hand for a shake. "Charmed. It's a pleasure to be lucky enough to meet one of the leaders of this new pack." Even if he was really weird in his attitude.

The she wolf turned her attention back to her brother as he began to recite something, telling her to repeat after him. She nodded and listened carefully before repeating the creed back to him. "I am a Stormbringer, I am an Ichikan. I seek love in my heart, knowledge in my mind, and wisdom in my spirit. I will love my fellow Ichikans and know them as family to the fullest I can; I will devote myself to my duties and learn from my work and the work of others; I will try my best to embrace all walks of life, faith and love. I understand that if I devote myself to love, knowledge and wisdom I will learn my path to true personal happiness, and find my place in the circle of life." Lewis listened to the creed and followed after the she wolf, figuring the only thing different about his repeat of the creed, was that he would change 'stormbringer' to 'lowell'. He said his part and then the two waited for what would happen next.

The two were then welcomed by both the males into the pack by both the males and even given a task to catch some fish from the ocean and offer them to three other members of the pack. It wouldn't be so hard if the she wolf actually knew how to fish. She sure hoped she would be able to find someone to help her with this task, the coyote even offering himself to help her brought a smile to her face. "Thank you Razekiel. I'll be sure to keep you in mind." She then looked to her brother and nodded to the idea of leaving Eavan at the ranch while they lived somewhere else. At least then she would have her own place to stay and would surely be comfortable. She watched as the coyote began to leave and took the place next to her brother. "Perhaps we should head home now Saul." Lewis gently tugged on the reigns to get Eavan to follow him.

It had taken him some time to get to the borders, a long string of fish slung over his shoulder. Gideon had been trying to teach Melee and Range more about fishing so that he could pass the skill on and focus more on his tasks as a defender of the pack, but it was slow going. Fishing took a lot of patience, and he wasn't sure if the girl or boy had very much of it yet. They'd be a year old before long...he hoped that they would keep working on their tasks so that they could figure out what they liked and didn't like when they each figured out what they wanted to do with their lives here in Ichika.

The male reached the group gathered at the borders just as they looked as if they were about to depart. He'd recognized the voice that had howled for attention but hadn't been certain what to think of it; he'd left the lake as soon as he could, beginning for the borders just in case no one else had come to see who it was and so that he could be certain for himself. It seemed that Shiloh was indeed back, both a delight and a curiosity to him. Where had she gone to? Why had she been gone for so long? Had she seen Ascher? There was another canine with her as well as the equines of the group.

He didn't know what to ask first. The fish dropped to the ground as he ran toward her. "Shiloh!" Gideon didn't want to scare the horses, but he also wanted to get up as close to Shiloh as he could. Hopefully the horses wouldn't mind. Saul had probably already asked her all sorts of questions, and their leader stood nearby as well - had she just been accepted back? "Are you back for good? Are you all heading back to Cerne Rise?" He asked.
