((WC: 5+))((Set on the 19th))

She'd found the manor, just as she'd been told she would. What had possessed the pale woman to come to this pack, instead of returning to Phoenix Valley? Perhaps it was the strong scent of Jazper. He'd been so dedicated to this pack when she'd left, so very long ago. She walked up the stairs, pausing to study each room, her bi-colored eyes already drooping.

Until...that scent. Her eyes widened. She touched the crude scratches on the door warily, as if in a dream. S-O-R-A-N. The name brought up the memory of jade eyes. They were eyes she remembered so well, as if it had been just yesterday she'd peered into them. It had been just yesterday. It had been a lifetime ago. Deuce searched her memory. Had it been before the great fire, or after? It had been so long...

Fingers drifted over the letters tenderly. Was the woman in there? Would she remember her? Or would she scorn the pale femme? Deuce bit a her lip. She was travel stained and weary. She should rest. The idea of seeing Soran, though... it had her heart racing faster than she thought it could. She licked her lips, hesitating. As if of its own will, her hand shaped a fist, politely knocking. The woman ran a trembling hand through her mane, fingers teasing out a knot. She should have rested first, but the name carved into the door, the scent so fresh, so achingly familiar.... she couldn't have slept now if she'd wanted to.

She waited, still as an ivory statue, her hand the only thing moving, the only thing that possessed the energy to move, still plucking at the small knot in her hair. Her mind drifted back in time, back before Lucifer, before Haku. Back to when it was only the two of the laying in each-others arms, whispering of their love as the pups slept nearby. Dierdre had hated that her mother wasn't with Thanos, yes, but in time would she have accepted Soran as another mother? In many ways, Conri had accepted her as his mother. Deuce wished so much had never taken place. She wished she'd never left these lands, wished she'd never started drinking.

She'd given up drinking for good. Hadn't had a drop since Lucifer had forced her to drink. The thought of the things Lucifer had done to her in Plateau made her feel ill. The thought of the 'medicine' he'd forced on her made her feel ill. To think, she hadn't had the courage to shake off his control until she witnessed him beating Noah... she hated Lucifer deeply. She would be horrified and guilty when she learned what had happened not so long ago at Lucifer's hands.

Deuce pulled her mind away from the past, moistening her lips with a nervous lick. How long had she waited? Was it too soon to knock again? She drew in a slow deep breath, her knees quaking. Her hand drifted up again, knocking lightly. She shifted the light weight of her satchel, nibbling on her bottom lip anxiously.

WC:899 Oh what a lovely surprise, Soran is going to be rather pleased to see Deuce Big Grin

The ebony fae was having a small nap in her room. She had been wandering about the lands all through the day, she had been hunting, several plump rabbits were resting neatly on one of the spare shelves, it had been a good haul, but soon the fae had moved onto other things. The tall female had shifted forms then, allowing her mane to curl around her shoulders, and her four legged form changed to her bipedal one, hands forming, hips and elbows forming. She had come back to her room then, preparing one of the rabbits and eating it quickly. She had then sat on her bed, a hand reaching up to take the letters written by her youngest children from the walls, she stacked them neatly in her hand, reading the topmost one first, written by her eldest daughter, Rain, her sooty furred daughter with the shining silver eyes, her hand stroked the wrinkled paper fondly, she lowered her head and sniffed at the paper, smiling as she caught the soft scent of her dark daughter, the letter itself was eloquent and promised of her coming to visit soon, this gave the jade eyed lady hope, her relationship with her family was far from good at the moment, the cracks taking a long time to patch up, the idea that a daughter who loved her dearly would come and see her gave her a great amount of hope that things would indeed get better. The jade eyed lady had stroked each letter in turn, reading over them carefully, the ones from the twins were almost identical in content, indeed their shaky handwriting was almost identical as well, this too made the dark female smile, the pair of them were so close, they seemed to speak without words to one another, the twins were just so in sync with one another, the fae thought that it was wonderful for her children to have someone that they were that close to, she had never truley had that herself, it was true that she had had Iikka, but he had died when she had been young, and she had never had another childhood friend like that, it was good that the siblings were so close, if anything ever happened, they would always have one another. The tall female missed them all so, she had wondered about going home and seeing them, but she could not return there, she had made a descision to leave, and she was not going back on that now, this was her home.

After reading the letters she had carefully pinned them each back on the walls, lovingly stroking them. She had then picked up the teddy wolf that Kiwi had insisted she took with her, her youngest daughter had worried that she would get lonely and had made her take her beloved toy with her, so that the ebony woman would never forget them and would never feel really, honestly alone. Soon after this the female had fallen asleep, stretching out on her bed, her arms wrapped around the teddy wolf, breathing in her daughter's scent as she did so, it warmed her heart to know that she was loved by them. She had been asleep for as little while when there was a knock at the door, the female's ears twitched towards the sound, the silver hoops in her left ear glittering in the light that flooded through the large doors that lead onto the terrace. A jade eye opened slowly, and she stretched, lengthening out her arms and legs before moving to stand. Again came the knock at the door, the female wondered who it could be, perhaps it was Mati, finally willing to speak to her ebony grandmother? Perhaps it was Savina, or indeed Charm, the two females had found a connection, something of a spark of attraction, although the female did feel awkward about having been her mother's mate, still she would be pleased to see the calico girl if it was indeed her standing on the other side of the door. The female ran a hand through her curled mane, neatening it out carefully, making sure that the unruly curls had some pretence of looking neat. Slowly she crossed to the door, still musing as to who it could possible be, her hand turned the handle slowly, the door swinging open. Nothing could have prepared her for the shock of who it was standing on the other side of the door. A gasp escaped her lips and her green eyes widened as her gaze met the bi-coloured one of the female on the other side of the door. It couldn't be? The female was close to pinching herself to make sure that she was not still asleep, her mind teasing her with dreams of her former lover. Her one great love. Suddenly all thoughts of Charm were gone from her mind as she stared into the face of her former mate, she could not believe it, it was an amazing sight to see her here, standing before her. The lady reached out and touched the pale female's cheek. It was warm and solid, substantial, she was real, the pale female before her was really here, the fae could not believe her luck.
"Deuce... Deuce, what are you doing here?" The lady asked, her hand still on her former mate's cheek.

((What day did you want this dated to? wc:3+))

Her heart had stilled as she'd waited from the door to open. Breathing had become painful. And then, the door began opening, each fraction taking a lifetime. Familiar green eyes met hers, and the world came back to the pale woman in a painful rush. Before words were spoken, a dark soft hand drifted up, touching her cheek. Soft words were spoken, and Deuce laughed, a soft sob of joy mingled with the laugh of disbelief. Her own hand drifted up, laying itself over Soran's hand on her cheek, her ears laying back in disbelief, her tail wagging excitedly. Budha had once told her she was only as old as she felt, and it was true. She felt like she was two, and in Syemv again.

"I came home." It was such a simple explanation and spoke volumes. She had, in fact, returned to the lands where Conri and Naniko had first formed their pack. This was the same manor her boys had grown up in. She hadn't thought about it at the time when she'd joined, but there it was. A long time ago she'd been kicked out of the lands by an angry Conri and a disappointed Naniko, both goaded into the act by Lucifer, the black male who'd nearly destroyed her life. Yet, here she was, standing again in the halls of the manor. She pulled the hand resting on her cheek to her lips, kissing it gently.

She felt as though nothing had had changed, even though a lifetime had passed. Her eyes drank in Soran, took in the pentagram with a soft smile. She kissed the hand again, not wanting to relinquish the tenuous connection with the midnighted woman who'd been her mate so long ago. She stroked her fingers over the velvet of the dark fur, marveling as she always had at the silken texture.

Sorry for the wait on this my dear! I have been camping lol.

Soran was still in shock as she looked at the pale female. All of a sudden she was transported back in time, so many years ago, to Syemv, when the pair had been young and so vibrant, so full of energy, so much time had passed between then and now, but still here they were, and her pale angel was still as vibrant as she had been, still made the area around her seem monochrome in comparison to her glow, she was still a star hanging in the inky sky. The fae was still lost in her thoughts, thinking on the Syemv house, thinking of the day the pair had met, how they had fought so viciously, how things had changed, how they had changed over the course of time. Once Deuce and Soran had been a pair of hellcats with short tempers, but time seemed to have taught them both patience and other values that had stood them in good stead for their further lives. How different it all was now. She could not help but think of these times, her recent conversation with Tal, who looked so like his mother, had stirred them within her, he had wanted to know if his mother's stories of her dark lover had been true, and so Soran had divulged tales that, although thought on much, had not passed her lips for what seemed an age. The pair had been sworn enemies once, but Soran had helped Deuce give birth to Deirdre, her pale daughter, and that had formed a friendship between the pair, soon this had blossomed into love, the pair had been through so much together, joy, sorrow, loss, love, all had fallen into their paths as they crossed through life. The tall slender female smiled at the memories, the pair of them standing in the kitchen once they realised that they were beginning to fall in love, just clinging to one another. They had been so happy once, before she had left her, before Deuce had been ordered from the pack by Akumu, once she had realised that she had once been suicidal, it had broken the sable female's heart, and it had had it's final shattering when she realised that the pale female had no intention of asking her to come with her, stealing away into the night, leaving only a note in it's place, she had known that the dark girl would have followed her to the end of the earth, through perils and hardships, and still she had left her, that had been the true shattering of the female's heart.

Then of course had come Erik, Soran had managed to free Deuce from his grip, but it had been too late, Deuce had left her for Lucifer and broken her heart all over again. It seemed to the sable lady that she was never meant to be with this pale lady with the bi-coloured eyes, perhaps they were destined to forever love one another but never manage to have any more than the tiny fleeting moments of happiness that they had already been allowed. But the sudden appearance of the alabaster female changed her mind on this, but all of a sudden her heart was broken in two, torn between wanting to fan the flames of her blossoming love with Charm and the other half wanting to throw herself into Deuce's arms and never let her go again. The female spoke, as always it sent a ripple of joy through the female as she did so, the familiar lilt sounding like an angel crying with joy, Soran had always thought of it like that, her heart began to beat a little faster as she looked at the pale female, she was still drinking her in, committing every line of her face to memory. She had to do this either way, whether or not she allowed Deuce to stay with her once again, the ebony female could not bear to feel that she was betraying Charm though, but still she could not tear her eyes away from Deuce, nor her heart. She felt the female's pale lips upon her hand and a second wave of joy surged through her chest, threatening to burst out of her in a joyful cry. The jet female was able to contain herself though, simply moving closer and wrapping her long arms around Deuce, breathing in her soft scent deeply, clinging to her just for a moment, finally, after her moment of weakness, she managed to compose herself and pulled away, leaving her hand clasped around Deuce's though, not being able to bear not being connected to her in some way, despite the fact that she had thought she was falling for Charm before this sudden turn in events. Finally she managed to find control of her mouth again, all the moisture seemed to have gone from it when she had set eyes on Deuce, her throat had seemed too small, but finally she found herself able to speak.
Yes, yes, I can see that, welcome home. She replied with a chuckle, had she been able to cry tears would have been brimming in her eyes by now, tears of joy mixed with confusion, the truth was Deuce had broken her heart more times than she cared to think about, but in that moment, opening the door and seeing her there, in that moment all was forgiven. She could barely think straight, she simply stepped back into her room, using her spare arm to gesture into it, do come in, I am sure we have much to speak about. The female added, her heart swelling in her chest, at least that was how it felt, she reached up and rubbed at her eye, there were of course no tears there to wipe away, but it was a trait that she had picked up from reading so many books, they rubbed their eyes when they were extremely happy after all. They also did this when they were extremely sad, but that was far from how she felt now.

((Wc:3+))

Welcome home. A grin split her face. Soon followed the tender embrace she'd craved for so very long, the invitation to join her once lover in her room. Her tail wagged, the grin widening. She had been through hell and back. She breathed in the scent of Soran deeply, drawing it deep into her lungs. When Soran released her from the embrace, the duo remained holding hands as though neither could bear to release that tenuous connection. She let the dark angel lead her into her room, going with her willingly. Her tail wouldn't stop wagging happily.

"Where have you been, Soran? I know I have been through so much since leaving here, and I'm sure have been too." She nuzzled the hand she was clinging to, relishing the sweet smell of Soran. It was the scent of Soran that had haunted her memories for years. She had lain awake nights, missing the dark angel she'd loved, dreaming of the day she might look into the beautiful emerald eyes she'd looked into lovingly. She had shared all her stories about Soran with her boys, Tal always listened more fervently than Noah. At the thought of her boys, she felt a pang. She loved them best of all her offspring, but Soran was her life's great love.

She loved her boys, but she wished she'd never fallen for Lucifer. He was one of the biggest mistakes she'd made. Sure, he wasn't so controlling and cold when they'd first met. He'd been loving and kind, thoughtful and understanding. It was later, after the fire, when he'd become so cold and manipulative. She had done so much for him, and he'd still turned on her. If it weren't for their sons, she would have wondered if they wouldn't have been better not meeting each other at all.

I wanted it dated to the 19th if that's ok by the way? That way it's Soran's birthday SmileWC: 898

Soran could not help but smile as she looked at the female, of all the days for her to turn up she had chosen this one. Today was Soran's eight birthday, of all the days that Deuce could have chosen to arrive on the ebony female's doorstep she had managed to make herself an accidental birthday gift for the female. The smile that was playing across the sable female's lips did not leave, she brushed her thumb across the back of the alabaster female's knuckles, not being able to bear the idea of letting go, the physical connection proving to her that her former mate was not a mirage or a dream, she was real, she was really here. The female lead her former mate into the room, pausing to close the door behind them, she did not want any interruptions while they talked, especially her granddaughter or Charm, she wanted some time alone with the pale lady, she wanted to sort her feelings out, allowing her head and heart to match up once again, she felt so torn, her heart was pulling her in two different directions, one half wanting to see what would happen if she allowed herself to give Charm a chance; the calico girl was enchanting after all, the other heart screaming out that it was fate that Deuce had returned, crying out for Soran to cling to the pale female, to hang onto her so tightly that she could never leave again. She stepped towards the bed, sitting down carefully, she released Deuce's hand then, patting the bed beside her, offering the snowy female a seat beside her, perhaps it was a risky move, suggesting that the female sit so close to her, but she could not bear to have too much distance between them, no matter how confused she was at this new turn of events. Velvety ears twitched and swivelled towards the female as she spoke, asking her where she had been, there was so much to tell the pale female, Soran did not quite know where to begin, she supposed that she should start at the beginning, where it had all gone wrong within these very lands. Yes, she had to start when she had found Conri curled in a pathetic slump, begging his mother to kill him; something that the female could not bring herself to do, no matter what crimes he had committed, after all he was still her son and she loved him more than she could ever explain, even if he had made himself a rapist, murder and enemy of the pack and his mate. With a sigh she fixed her eyes on Deuce's own mismatched ones, losing herself for a moment in them, a warm smile once again gracing her lips as she looked at her, for a moment she longed to kiss her, but stories had to be told first.

"So much has happened Deuce, I had to leave, the bad feeling was too much here, terrible things happened. Conri raped Naniko, he attacked her, I don't think I can ever forgive him for that. But I left because he asked me to kill him, he was consumed with regret and grief, he begged me to end his life, I could not bear to do it, it broke my heart, all I could think of doing was leaving." The female began, she had never revealed this to anyone before, of course most knew of Conri's crimes, but none knew that he had asked his mother to end his life, that he had been scared that he would offend again, Soran had councilled him, reminding him that he was a good wolf, but she had been unable to stay around him, she had had to leave the lands, the memories were too painful, too poisonous.
"I travelled for a long time Deuce, so muc has happened, I don't really know where to begin, I had another litter of pups though, tell me of what you have been doing, where did you go? Oh how I have missed you." The ebony female said, her hand reaching for her former mate's cheek as she spoke the last part, stroking the soft fur beneath her fingertips gently. What she had said had been the truth, she may have had another mate, she had taken Dayna as a mate when she had joined the other pack, but she had never loved her like she had loved Deuce, she had always found her lacking when she compared the two, Dayna failed pathetically when compared to her former mate, the pale girl could not even hope to compete with her. Though Soran would always be grateful to her, she had taken her in and helped raise her pups, allowing them to stay in her lands when Soran had chosen to leave, they were safe with her, they would always be safe in the other pack, it was nice to have one less thing to worry about, but Dayna knew that Soran could never truely love her. If a wolf was given one true love, one great love in their life, then Deuce was the jade eyed lady's. She smiled at the pale lady, still unable to quite believe that she was here, in her room, right before her eyes, real, perfect in every way, just as the ebony lady remembered her.

((Thats good for me, Love! WC 6+))

Deuce heart ached, and she hugged the dark angel who was her mate once. Soran had been through Hell. When she was asked where she had gone, what she had done, she answered slowly. "It's a long story. For a long time I was the Shaman of Phoenix Valley. When Iskata got hurt, she named Jefferson as her successor. You know how I felt about coyotes and hybrids at the time. I left. I didn't want to be someplace that was so welcoming to those types of canines. I lived alone in Ethereal Eclipse. Well, not quite alone. Tal and little Willow were with me. Willow was the daughter of Haku, who was my lover for a short while." She gave a rueful smile. "I thought I loved him. He came and talked me into going to Dahlia with him, so he could watch his daughter grow up. Except his mate, Firefly, hated me. She wanted to kill Willow. So when Noah came to see me, I begged him to take Willow to someplace safe. Tal went with. Haku was furious with me, and I left shortly thereafter to be with my pups."

Her eyes went distant, becoming haunted. "I don't remember much of that time. I met with Lucifer there. He had changed, become darker. He didn't remember me or our boys." She shuddered as a few small emmories resurfaced. "I was hurt bad by a pack of wild dogs while looking for the boys and Willow. A wolf took me in, a son of Phoenix. And I escaped...but Lucifer caught me as I finally found my boy's scent." She looked down. Her voice was soft, almost inaudible. "It was a bad time. All I remember is a sharp pain, and seeing Lucifer hurting Noah. That was what made me shake off his control. And one day, Noah vanished. Tal was gone. I helped the alpha birth her pup, and she named me the pack healer. Lucifer had left by then too. And then Chaos came. I don't remember when or what exactly happened. He had a harem of females, basically. I tried not to fall to his wiles. I was staying in the hopes my boys would return. But Chaos seduced me. He was killed. His mate's oldest son tried to kill me. He did kill my boys, and he ate them in front of me. I'll never forget the sounds...After, he turned to kill Sora, but I fought to protect her. Adelio's mate came, and tried to intervene. She ended up hurt, and she grabbed little Sora and ran. I threw sand into Adelio's eyes and escaped the den. Rauslin gave me Sora back, and I ran to the lighthouse. Once Sora was bigger, we left the lands."

She swallowed. "I met a male named Budha, who'd never known any Luperci like us. But he offered to help me with Sora. I ended up wanting to know if my boys had made it back here. So I left Sora with Budha and came here. And here I am." She shrugged again.

Through everything, she still wished she'd never met Lucifer. She loved her boys and would never regret them, but she wished she'd never left Soran. She spoke softly, in an almost inaudible whisper. "I never stopped loving you, Soran. I missed you so much. I was a fool back then. I never should have left. I don't expect us to pick up where we left off... but I do hope that someday, maybe..." she trailed off again, not daring to voice her fantastical daydream.

It's so weird having these two like this, when they used to be so young and carefree and now they have all these battle scars XD Sorry, it's a ramble. XD

The sable female accepted her former pale mate's hug gratefully, clinging to her, wrapping her arms around her tightly, breathing her scent in deeply, it had changed over time, but beneath that she still smelt the same, the same wonderful earthy smell that she had had all those years ago, when they had first fallen in love with her. The hug was over too quickly for the sable female, although she tried not to show it, tried not to feel it if she were honest, she didn't want to move too quickly with Deuce, she had hurt her so badly in the past, of course Soran had forgiven her for this, but she was still feeling cautious. She did not want to fall back into their old ways for Deuce to simply leave her once again, that would more than likely be the end of her, it would be too terrible to bear. Also she had Charm to think of, the first flutterings of romance were blossoming between them, she was unsure what to do with them now, before she had been very keen to explore them, but now she was a mix of confusion. She looked at her former mate as she began to speak, so much had happened to her, she too had been through hell, so much had happened int he pair's lives. The female nodded as Deuce spoke of her time with Haku and the like, she knew some of this already, Tal had briefly mentioned it to her when she had met him on the borders of Cercatori D'Arte, the pair had had a lovely conversation, Tal was a wonderful young male, the tall female thought that Deuce should be more than proud of him. She watched the female as she spoke, green gaze roving over the pale female, taking in the changes that time had given her, there were more scars on her than the last time they had seen one another, they had both aged, Soran herself having a few silver hairs beginning to spring up around her facial scar, they had both changed, but in that moment they were simply the same young wolves that they had been on those nights in the Syemv house, for a moment they could pretend that nothing had changed. At the mention of Lucifer the sable female's ears folded flat against her skull, it was an involuntary reaction, she loathed the male, after speaking to Tal and hearing how he had treated poor Noah, after meeting Noah at the borders of Ichika Ho-en. Even the sound of his name made the fury boil within her, how dare her steal her former mate away from her and then treat their children badly, children that bore Deuce's blood. She hated him for that, she was about to tell Deuce what he had done, but it seemed her pale mate already knew.

The sable female listened as the female spoke of how her youngest pups had been eaten, she let out a small cry of sorrow for the poor female, wrapping her arms around the pale woman, hugging her closely, she could not imagine how terrible it must have been to watch her children die and then be eaten, it must have been awful. She held her tightly, wanting to hold her close and protect her from all of the evils of the world, just has she had always done. The female then explained how she had come here, the female nodded.
That is much like myself then, when I left I met a male named Pavle, Pavle Itzal, he was a good friend, we had a moment, a night together and then we parted ways, I discovered I was pregnant long after he had gone. I ended up having four pups, Rain, Florence, Flavian and Kiwi, I hope they arrive here so that you might meet them. I lived in a pack for a while, a female named Dayna was the alphess, she took me in, we were mated for a while, though what I had thought was love ended up becoming more of a sense of owing her something, responsibility. Once the pups were a year old I decided to come back here, my relationship with Dayna had broken down by this point, she wanted more pups, I tried to explain that I had my own children and now wanted nothing more than grandchildren, she did not understand and it spilt us up. I felt a longing for this place, I missed it here, I was curious about Khaden and Dhalia, I wondered if they might have come here and I wanted to see my grandchildren again. So I returned, it turns out that Naniko has become a drug addict, and was thrown out of the pack after a child got into her drugs, she almost killed the girl with her carelessness. I do not know what to do about her, but it also seems that I have become a great grandmother in my absence, which is wonderful, there are a lot of bridges to rebuild though, between them Naniko and Conri have created a wide gulf in this family and Mati and Haven barely remember me, it is hard, but I hope one day they shall see me as their grandmother once again. Soran said, looking at the pale female and smiling weakly, she was finding it so difficult to know that her family were so close and yet they had never seemed further away from her, it was horrendous but she hoped that soon it would all be over, that they could form some semblence of a relationship.

Then the pale lady said the words that made Soran's heart skip, that she had missed her as well, that she had wished that she had never left, this mirrored what the ebony lady had always felt, she wished that Deuce had never left either, she had pined for her constantly ever since, even if she had not realised it before. She reached out and touched Deuce's face as she looked at her, taking a strand of the pale female's mane between her fingers, playing with it gently as she looked into the female's eyes.
I have missed you so as well Deuce, but I do not know what to do, my heart is torn, I... I met someone, her name is Charm, nothing has happened between us, but I think that she might have developed deep feelings for me, I feel an attraction to her as well. But now, being here, seeing you, it has changed everything, I thought you were never coming back, you being here throws everything into question. I have missed you so much as well, I have always loved you, I will always love you, seeing you here now makes me know that much for sure." She said in reply, she could not help but be honest with the pale female, being dishonest would only leave to trouble. Slowly she moved closer to her former mate, stroking her cheek with one hand gently.
"I have missed you so Deuce." The female whispered, her face close to the pale female's, perhaps dangerously so, behaving this way would not help her confusion.

Looking at their past, the good majority of their threads are fighting, birthing, or reuniting threads. LOL BTW I found this humorous. "Yin is characterized as slow, soft, yielding, diffuse, cold, wet, and passive; and is associated with water, earth, the moon, femininity and nighttime. Yang, by contrast, is fast, hard, solid, focused, hot, dry, and aggressive; and is associated with fire, sky, the sun, masculinity and daytime."))

How strange that the once young couple had aged and still both held deep feelings for the other, when once they had been bitter enemies. Soran's story caused the pale woman to hug her dark angel again. And then Soran spoke again. "I have missed you so as well Deuce, but I do not know what to do, my heart is torn, I... I met someone, her name is Charm, nothing has happened between us, but I think that she might have developed deep feelings for me, I feel an attraction to her as well. But now, being here, seeing you, it has changed everything, I thought you were never coming back, you being here throws everything into question. I have missed you so much as well, I have always loved you, I will always love you, seeing you here now makes me know that much for sure."

She didn't know whether to laugh, smile, or cry. Yet, Soran leaned close, admitting she had missed her. Deuce hesitated, then gave into temptation and gave the dark angel a slow, sweet kiss. It was over too quickly, but she needed to speak again. "Soran, I won't push you. Take your time and make up your mind. I will gladly accept your decision." She kissed her dark angel again.

"I will always love you, Soran. I won't walk away this time. I'm here until the end of my days, and Rhiannon willing I have many days before those days come. If you choose to discover what it is you have with this Charm, then I will not interfere. But honestly..." She paused, then spoke her secret daydream in a soft whisper. "I have dreamed for a long time we could be like we used to be. Together and happy, your yin to my yang. Maybe someday..." She left the question, the dream, hanging.

I know they have a turbulant past XD Let's see if we can get it right this time Big Grin And I like it, I always thought of Deuce and Soran as night and day XD I hope the slight PP here is ok, I can change it if now Smile

The ebony pelted female listened as the fae spoke, the love she felt for the pale female refusing to stop its rising in the sable female's chest, she could not help it, she had missed the pale girl so much, she had pined for her, there had been many lonely nights when she had been laying beneath the stars, watching the sky, wishing that her pale lady was there. Even when she had been laying there with Dayna, she could not help but miss the female, she longed for her. It was amusing in a sense, the females had been at one another's throats when they had first met, how different it could have been if fate had played a different role; but it was true that the pair seemed to have been made for one another, they fitted together like a pair of pieces in a jigsaw puzzle, two halves of a whole. When they had been so cruel to one another, when they had fought they had been vicious and then in what was in truth such a short time they had laid in one anothers arms, cuddling close together, confessing their love for one another. Some how they had been through all the trials and tribulations that they had faced and come out of the other side being better wolves, perhaps it was now time for them to try again, they had grown so much. The dark female looked at her pale angel, mesmorised by her, she could not help it, she could still barely believe that the female with the bi-coloured eyes was really here, after all of her wishing, all of her longing, it seemed that finally the universe was giving her something that she wanted. There had been many times when things had gone badly wrong for the sable female, when the happiness that she had felt seemed to only exist in order to make the sorrow far more poignant when it had come along; it seemed that fate only chose to give the sable lady good things, good feelings in order to take them away again, usually as swiftly as they had arrived. She was so close to the pale female, their faces were almost touching, she looked deep into the female's bi-coloured eyes, she wanted to kiss her so badly, wanted to feel her lips against the pale female's own, as they had done in the past, for a moment she wanted to pretend that they were young again, that nothing had happened, that they were how they had been when they had first met.

Her pale angel kissed her, the longing began to billow up in Soran's chest once again as she returned the kiss, leaning against the pale female, her jade eyes closing in the momentary bliss that the kiss afforded. It was over too soon, Soran hestitated for a moment, moving to lean in again, wanting more, but managing to keep her restraint. The female began to speak and the jet female listened intently, her ears swivelling to catch every word that fell from her former mate's lips, wanting to drink in every sound that she made, each one was precious to her, she could not help but feel the adoration that she had once felt for the alabaster female. The female's words were so wonderful, it made the choice for Soran even more difficult, one half of her heart was screaming for her to take Deuce in her arms, to kiss her and hold her, to never, ever let her go again, one half was trying to calm her, trying to keep rational, thinking of Charm. That part seemed to be losing the battle at this moment, there was something about the pull of the snowy matriarch, there was an allure that Soran could not deny. They had been playing a cat and mouse chase with one another for so long now, their on again off again relationship being a central part of their lives. Somuch had happened to the pair of them, they had been through so much, they had left, found other partners, had other pups, but they had always found one another again, even after the fire, the destruction of their home land, they had always managed to find one another, their pull was something magnetic, something neither of them could control it would seem. Deuce kissed Soran again and her heart leapt, she leant in again, putting her arms around the pale female, cuddling her as she kissed her gently. Oh how she had missed her. The pale female spoke again and the lady's heart skipped, hearing that Deuce would always love her, this was something that was matched within the lady's dark self, she would always love this pale female, this was something that she could not deny, if it was indeed the truth that a wolf only got one true, pure love in their lifetime then surely Deuce was Soran's. The female spoke about them being how that had been long ago, promising that she would not leave again and a smile crossed the sable female's dark lips; she herself had played the same fantasy, the same day dream over and over in her mind, countless times, the idea that they might again be a pair, that they might sleep together in the same bed again, to spend their days together, to live out the rest of their lives in one another's arms. That had been something that Soran had longed for for so long. She leant in and kissed Deuce again, her lips meeting the pale female's own tenderly. She clung to the pale female for a moment, before moving to lay on the bed, pulling Deuce to her, trying to get her to rest her head upon her dark chest, wrapping an arm around her gently.
I cannot say how long I have been thinking the same thing, how long I too have been missing you, dreaming that we might be how we used to be. I will always love you, but I need you to swear to me that you will never leave again. My heart could not bear the sorrow if I were to lose you again, you are the yang to my yin my darling, we are two halves of the same whole. I have missed you so. The dark female replied, moving to stroke Deuce's cheek gently, losing herself in the moment for a short time, just being blissfully happy having Deuce close to her. She moved and licked Deuce's cheek gently as they lay there together.
