Fixing what is broken

Shiloh was tired of being sick. Saxif had been making her eat and she had been having trouble keeping solid food down. After a month of not eating, solid food made her sick and she often threw it back up. So after finding out that she had been throwing up, Saxif had been making her soups and had been cutting her food up in little pieces so she could eat them without any worries. Shiloh knew she looked bad, her body to thin to even look like a wolf and her marred skin looked worse now that her stomach had healed. She knew she needed help.

On this particular day Shiloh had been trying to walk and getting frustrated because of the pain she was feeling. She hurt, her ankle and her shoulder throbbing. She wanted to become stronger, learn how to take care of herself. Saxif could only do so much and Shiloh knew she needed emotional help as much as she did. She managed to make it to the porch and said herself down on the steps again. She knew someone would come by... or at least she hoped someone would come by and help her. A doctor maybe. She needed to get her ankle checked bad. Would no one in d'Art help her?

Saxif felt it her duty to take care of Shiloh she had hoped someone anyone would take some kindness to the sickly wolf. Seemed no one cared enough to ensure she ate. So now the already thin girl was nearly nothing but skin and bone. Her energy seemed to have dropped dramatically since Saxif came home to check on her that day or maybe it was this low to begin with. She wasn’t completely sure what was wrong with Shiloh, what physical torments might be happening to her. So she called out for help with a howl. There was little more she herself could do so all that was left was seeing what could be done to help her heal.

She always kept her distance, from time to time she would try to get close but the actions were often awkward and forced. She hated that the most Shiloh was the one person that she had felt at such ease with and now she couldn’t feel anymore uncomfortable. The constant wonder as to who was there with her who was feeling her touch. She rubbed her face firmly as she walked back in the house and discovered her mate trying to walk. She sighed. You are not going to burn off your lunch when you don’t need to. Let your body absorb something before you use it. Besides we don’t even know if you should be walking right now Shi. Her voice was almost emotionless it was just how she sounded lately unsure of how to express herself. She took her arm and put her other hand on Shiloh’s waist helping her back to bed. I called for someone to come, now just please relax and rest. You don’t have to push yourself yet. Once her mate was in the bed and covered she increased the distance once more and waited by the doorway. Hoping there would be someone who could shed some light on Shiloh’s physical condition.
