Sorry to dive into his religion slightly at in this post XD OKAY! This thread should not take very long if we stick to a posting order for the first couple of rounds Smile It might be a tad confusing but please try to follow for now! I will write an order for posting at the start of each round so keep an eye on this thread please Smile Round 1: Jazper, Anann, Enter Rurik.

WC:300+

The two halflings traveled side by side, a silent goal connecting the two warriors. Time continued to pass slowly among the packs, the war making each day of peace seem like forever. No one seemed to know what was going on, what was going to happen and it was difficult to find time to do anything but prepare. War could be handled with ease if one had the right resources and the two wolves had already started the journey towards keeping the peace.

Jazper had found himself staring at the sun earlier that week wondering why the great sun warrior had blessed him with such strength yet spread the warriors of Souls so far apart that none could stand up to the Guardians. There was only once choice left in the Knight’s mind, he and Anann would train wolves for such conflicts. They would stand with an army of wolves of all backgrounds who were willing to fight to keep peace. With honor they would form a pack of loyal and just individuals who would be able to protect these lands. Jazper had grown up with the sun gods ways and now he would honor Fenris by protecting every canine he could.

The only problem with this dream was the lack of available land. Anann and himself had been searching individually since the summer but most of the territory was occupied or close to a pack. Although there was a good portion of land to the south the two made their way into Whisper Beach territory where he had met Wayne and Dixie only days before. Strategically it would be much easier to keep up pack relations being closer to the packs. Glancing around for his golden friends companion he noted with a slightly happier tone, “I think we lost your…. friend.” Most who were close to the Knight knew his strained relationships with horses, however he was willing to tolerate and admit their uses. Still, having one trail after them as though they were young pups in need of watching irritated the beast.

It had been a few weeks since Anann had gone to Crimson Dreams and told their Knight that she would join him in his venture. Maska and his goons had made it obvious that southern packs had lacked proper defenses. Surely if their had been some united force rather than the sprinkling of warriors amongst the varied packs none of this would have went on as long as it had. It had taken far to long for forces to be pulled together to stand against the Guardians that lived in AniWaya. The north had yet to feel much impact of his tyrannical reign, but Anann had no doubt that word had traveled. Since little help had come from the north Anann could only assume that as warriors went they were in the same situation, too few spread too far.

When Jazper had come to her with the idea of building a pack specifically with the intentions of training warriors for the purpose of upholding peace she could not have agreed more, even though she had not made haste in giving her consent. It was not easy for her to think of uprooting herself once again. She had pledged her loyalty and respect to Vigilante and the Court had proven to be a good home. The King had not been happy to hear the news when she had finally come to a decision and she has expected no less from him, but this was something she needed to do. She felt it was her calling.

Now they just needed to find lands that were best suited to their needs and goals. Anann felt it key that they be in the center of things and while it was certainly no priority, she wanted to try and stay close to the ties she had in Cour des Miracles and Crimson Dreams. And of coarse, if she was going to be bringing her fisherman with her they would need some shoreline. In the end, even with their separate searches that Anann and Jazper were leaning heavily towards the territory of Whisper Beach and the forest that neighbored it. Together now, maybe the could narrow things down a bit.

”He’ll show up again.” Anann said with a chuckle. Jazper would get used to the horse soon enough she imagined. Rem was certainly bound to have his nose in all of it. ”He kinda prefers to do his own thing, if you hadn’t noticed.” In fact, he hadn’t really been invited in the first place, lucky for him he never waited for one.

Rurik had been walking around the same area for a few days now, which wasn't exactly normal for him. Normally he was always on the move, going from place to place, but now he felt like he needed a place to settle down; a place to rest. He would still travel, but sleeping in random places out in the open unprotected night after night for a year or more was getting rather old.

A few days ago he had been up near Anathema, just idly searching for nothing in-particular, but he had passed by the Whisper Beach area, and where there was a beach there was normally interesting things to pilfer, drift wood to burn, and beach houses to live in. What more could a savaging, pyro wolf without a home want right? Right. So after some odd business near the Inferni and Anathema borders, Rurik decided to come back down to investigate Whisper Beach.

Although his search had thus far turned up dry. No interesting trinkets, no burnable things, not even a shack he could take shelter in. He was tempted to give up and move to a new area, but something wouldn't let him. It was likt a little nagging feeling like he should be here, wandering. He couldn't explain it, and he figured it was better to listen to your gut than to ignore it. I wish what ever wants me here would show it self already, this is getting bother some.

The sound of heavy steps made him whirl around, drawing his katana as he did. It was an unnecessary action though. The horse stomped the ground again, and Rurik sheathed his blade. You scared me..." He said, not expecting a response. He sighed and went to walk over to the horse. As he got closer the horse shied away, as if it didn't want him to get close. Rurik huffed irritably and kept going. "I'm going to hurt you, you stupid anima-" He let out a startled yelp before he could finish his insult. Apparently the horse didn't like being called stupid, as it rared up and started running at Rurik.

Rurik, being the intelligent canine he was, turned tail and ran, shouting like a little girl. He had never really seen a horse before, except maybe one or two wild ones while he traveled, but they had been a longways off. He looked behind him to check the progress of the beast and immediately wished he hadn't; it was gaining on him. Rurik was at a disadvantage though: he was in his Optime form carrying a loaded pack, a staff, a katana, and a dagger. Just as it sounded like the horse was going to trample him he saw two forms off to his left. He dug the tip of his staff into the ground and pushed hard to the left and continued to run. Hey! He called, trying his best to keep ahead of the beast behind him, Help!

Rem hadn’t meant to startle the wolf so, but he was rather amused as he spun around with a blade drawn. He looked at him with dark eyes, hidden behind his long forelock as the wolf sheathed his sword, Rem giving him a greeting snort and a paw to ground. Much as he had done to get the beast’s attention previously. Perhaps his charge and her friend would have a use for this one. Though the dark canine didn’t seem to have much for manners, approaching him directly and not even offering a hand to sniff before coming into his personal space. The nerve. Backing away the wolf began to run his mouth, their words were not foreign to him and their meaning was not lost and so he reared and made to charge the wolf, though he intend no real harm. Nothing past a nice welt from a bite or two anyway. This one was too dense for Rem’s methodes, Anann would have to deal with him, Rem didn’t have the patience for this. So he gave chase when the wolf took flight and in Anann’s direction.

The chase had been fun, and the look on the wolf’s face was even more amusing. As the gray toned wolf vaulted. Rem skidded to a halt, his ass tucking under him as his rear feet dragged him to stand still. Raising his head up as high as he could he gave it a couple bobs with neck arched. Look, I brought you something.

Round 2: Jazper, Anann, Rem? ,Rurik, Dixie Big Grin

WC:300+

Whisper Beach seemed to be an ideal place to start up a pack. As far as visiting other packs it was the center of attention, never too far from any one pack. This was ideal in Jazper’s mind as he intended the pack to be very involved in connections with the others. There was also a beach, much like the one he had grown up with in Crimson Dreams. Although he was leaving the pack he loved he believed it would greatly benefit everyone to have a central pack of warriors and healers to go to during a conflict. This current madness of waiting around all the time had to end. In a few months hopefully he and Anann would have a small group of warriors at their call.

Nodding in agreement to the Golden lady the large brute pushed forward. The horse was a smart enough animal to handle itself and if it didn’t….oh well. Anann would not be impressed with his general lack of concern for the beasts but who could blame him? Jazper had been born and raised by Non-Luperci parents for the first part of his life and it wasn’t until recently that he had been told Luperci were keeping things he considered prey as pets. It was a strange behavior for a wolf.

The sound of hurried hooves accompanied by squealing forced his ears backwards. “What the heck.” He grumbled as he turned just in time to see a brown hued male running right for them with none other than Rem chasing after him. The stranger’s cries for help brought anxiety into the warrior who quickly rushed forward, crashing into the smaller male and pinning him under his massive figure in an attempt to stop the horse from trampling him. Hopefully the horse would be kind enough to remember that Jazper was a friend. Sure enough Rem skidded to a stop just before them. Although is large body still pinned the brown male to the ground Jazper turned to look at his companion, “Anann…” His tone very clearly meant ‘deal with this horse’ but he was not about to be so rude. Looking down he added to the male below him, “You’re lucky you didn’t run into anyone worse with the war going on.” Waiting for a response the Knight decided the Loner could use a lesson, so he did not remove his weight.

Anann is amused Big Grin

Only moments after they had been talking about Rem did Anann hear a rather annoyed squeal off in the distance a little ways, shortly followed by the thundering of hooves. It was impossible to guess what trouble Rem had stirred up this time, though he hadn’t sounded distressed so she could only assume he had things under control. ”Speak of the devil.” She said with a sidelong glance at Jazper.

She had thought to tell him to get ready, for Rem was obviously coming in fast. Which Anann knew to mean one of two things, at least for this given situation. Whatever the case would be Anann doubted they would be allow for much longer.

As if on cue, the duo came into view. The wolf, catching sight of them, used his staff to vault in their direction and out of Rem’s direct path. His tactic impressed Anann and she tossed Jazper a look, perhaps they could use this one, much as Rem had thought. Though, Jazper had already set himself into motion ended up tackling the poor fellow. ”What, it’s not Rem is goig to eat him.” She managed to keep herself from laughing the humor she found in the situation was plain to read on her face. ”Goodness gracious, let him up, Jazper. Before you crush him the wind out of him.”

Rurik hadn't been expecting the black furred male to tackle him, so when the large body of fur and muscle hit him, there wasn't much he could do except wheeze and fall down; his staff fell and rolled a little ways away. The tackle and resulting crash to the ground knocked the wind from him, so he lay under the large wolf attempting to get his breath back and vaguely wondering why he hadn't moved yet. When the male mention a war, Rurik eyed him warily. He had heard nothing about a war, and he had been up and down the land in the past month or so, but it wasn't likely he would have since he was a loner and opted to keep to himself. He coughed once and spoke now that he had enough breath to. "If you don't mind sir...could kindly get the hell off me?" He said, sharper than he had meant to. Being chased by a horse, pinned down by a wolf twice your size, barely being able to get your breath, and having the non-working gun in your backpack dig into the middle of your back would make anyone irritable, so Rurik felt justified. He wanted to ask about the war, but felt it could wait until he could draw a proper breath.

Lolol you guys make me laugh...and Dixie is such a dork. xD

Word Count → 445

The beach was nice as ever. A soft breeze was blowing and the sound of the waves crashing together had the two canines relaxed and comfortable. They were ready to have a lazy day and just do nothing. Maybe some training for Fern and the colt, and Dixie was working on more baskets, but overall they had nothing to do.

Wayne had vaulted up onto Fern’s back, sitting high up in the air and training her to recognize leg commands. The mare was so gentle and sound that she took to the training in no time, turning and speeding up with just the lightest of touches after a short amount of time. Dixie had put the small halter on Bark and tied him to Duke so they’d stay out of the training. That little colt was something else, always jumping around and making all kinds of noise. While entertaining to a couple of bored Luperci, he did get annoying after a while.

Dixie had just finished her sixth basket and stacked it with the others when they heard the sharp squeal and yelling coming from a ways away. Duke’s head lifted quickly and he whinnied in reply, stomping his hooves in excitement. Fern was more calm about it but still curious. Dixie untied the colt from Duke and hopped up onto him bareback, grabbing some rope and an extra halter. If there was a wild horse out there chasing some poor canine, they’d be sure to catch it and send the other on their way.

Both canines yipped and leaned into their horses, grinning as they both took off on the same lead. The sound of Fern’s hooves drowned out any sounds made by Duke or the colt chasing after them. It didn’t take long for them to come into view of the three Luperci and the beautiful dark horse that seemed to be trained, as he was standing with the canines without any apparent fear or suspicion. The big dark man looked familiar, and as they drew closer, slowing the horses to a gentle lope, a grin pulled Dixie’s mouth partially open.

”Well look at that! If it ain’t Mr. Jazz…how ya doin’ friend? And who is this gorgeous boy…?” Her head turned to the dark horse and she slipped off of Duke, letting the smaller stud walk off and nibble on some grass. The tiny white female approached the horse slowly, completely oblivious to the other Luperci. Wayne huffed and slid off of Fern, rolling his eyes at Dixie’s complete disregard for those like herself when horses were around. The man turned to Anann, Jazper and Rurik, smiling and shrugging at them.

Oh snap! A change in the line up! Round 3: Jazper, Rurik, Anann, Rem?, Dixie Big Grin

WC:300+

The giant stood comfortable upon the smaller mans chest. It was amusing every now and then to use his size for the fun of it. However, the male below him snapped in a grumpy manner and with Anann’s request he sighed, rolling his eyes as he shifted his weight back to the ground, moving to sit beside the golden lady. “You’re no fun.” He grumbled with a playful wink. Although both souls were warriors they shared a love of the more fun things in life. Giving the male a moment to catch his breath the large canine took advantage of the moment for introductions, “I’m Jazper Rhiannon-Knight” he announced proudly, “This here is Anann.”

Just as he turned to look at his partner in crime the sound of more hooves crunched his face into confusion. Glancing at Anann questioningly he looked in the direction of the sounds. Sure enough two horses trotted into view. Instantly the wolf recognized the beasts and the riders upon them from his run in with the strange pair earlier in the month. Although he knew that the two wolves lived in the area he hadn’t expected to see them so shortly after their meeting. “Hey there Dixie, Wayne.” Nodding his head in a greeting the warrior smiled broadly. They were certainly nice enough folk and had quickly gained his interest. Chuckling as the pale female instantly moved toward Rem he motioned to Anann beside him, “He belongs to Anann."

Thinking for a moment he added, “Hey, you guys wouldn’t happen to know a place to set up residence for a pack?” He asked glancing between the stranger and the two acquaintances. Surely if the three of them lived in the area one of them would know a village or some caves near the beach. “Anann and I are looking to set up a pack soon. General defense and peace keeping.” It was the only description he could offer the three other wolves as they weren’t entirely sure what they were doing other than that.

POST ORDER, Y U KEEP CHANGING?!/300 words even!

As soon as the large male removed himself from Rurik's chest, he sucked in a big breath and stood up, retrieving his staff as he did. He spun in around his hand once out of habit before setting it on the ground. When the man introduced himself, Rurik gave him a slight nod to him and his friend. Rurik, Rurik Ivanov. He said, his slight Russian accent coming out a bit. He was going to ask Jazper about the war he had mentioned, but the sounds of others approaching interrupted him.

He had never been found of being around large groups of strangers, even less if ever one present knew each other but him. He had the sudden urge to leave but ignored it, the mention of a war had intrigued him. He watched the female more or less ignore them and choose the company of the horse instead. He wondered for a moment why they all had horses, did their legs not work properly? He didn't know, and it wasn't important enough to ask.

He was going to ask about the war then, but once again was interrupted, this time by Jazper. The fact that Jazper was creating a pack interested him. He vaguely wondered if Jazper would allow him to join, seeing as there seemed to be a war going on. "No sorry...I don't know of anywhere around here, or anywhere else." He gave an apologetic shrug and then added, "So what was that about you mentioned earlier. Something about a war? I've been up and down the land in the last few months and haven't seen any sign of a war." The thought that he could be lying for some obscure reason occurred to Rurik then, but he passed it off as just being paranoid again.

Rem will be played from here, no need to add him to the list and if I feel like posting with him Ill jump in wherever I please thank you very much :p lol

Anann had been surprised, though pleasantly so, at the rather sudden appearance of two more wolves and even more horses. Although what was even more surprise was that they apparently knew Jazper already. Introduction made their way around the group and Anann made sure lock them away in her memory. Not that it was troublesome thing for her, she had always had knack for remember names and faces. Rem gave a loud and annoyed snort as Jazper explained to Dixie who he was. Anann could only chuckle, ”He is with me, yes. But he belongs to known one.” It was a point, that in time, Rem would make perfectly clear to those who thought differently.

Rurik began to question about the war, it was surprising he had not heard of it, but as a loner it probably really didn’t concern him too much anyway. ”Well, you’ve either been lucky then or you haven’t traveled far enough south. The AniWaya tribe has been taken over by was warmongers it would seem. They have raided Jazper’s pack as well as my own.” She explained rather simply. ”Neither of our packs have enough of a fighting force to bring this to an end. It’s taken too long to gather an adequate force to counter them. That’s why Jazper and I have decided that it’s time we do something about it and try to ensure that such an injustice does not repeat.”

Meanwhile, Rem seemed to be getting rather acquainted with Dixie. First he had sniffed at fingers of the hand she offered for him to sniff and then pushed his nose into her hand in an attempt to get her to spoil him with some pets and scratches. With the ivory woman giving him attention, he really couldn’t care less about the horses she had brought with her, for now.

Dixie was a little bit too busy with the big black stallion to be listening to the other Luperci converse. Wayne stepped in for her, his usually silent self opening up slightly when he heard about the war. When the woman began telling the shorter male about the war in the south, he remembered the young one that they’d dined with a while back. ”We were down near AniWaya recently and helped one of the youngsters. Claudius was his name…poor kid was all beat up and can’t speak a straight sentence.”He shook his head slowly and took a step closer, turning his back to Dixie and the horses so he could concentrate on the speaking.

When Jazper asked about a possibly town or any fortified place that a pack might be able to reside, Wayne’s partially droopy ears perked up and he whipped around, one hand reaching out and dropping onto the white girls shoulder. She jumped a little and glared up at him, snapping a soft ‘what’, frustrated that he’d interrupted her time with the horse. The male repeated the question to her and her pale green eyes lit up. ”Yes! Not too far from here, actually. We didn’t go in, but there’s a big ol’ wall and what looks ta be buildin’s inside. Would be worth the short trip.”

Dixie stroked her little hand over Rem’s face and soft nose once more before making smooching noises at him and walking away. Leaning against her own horse, she smiled as Duke turned and nuzzled his face against her chest and stomach, trying to get some attention. ”Come on, we’ll show ya.” Still smiling, she turned and jumped, pulling herself up onto Duke’s bare back easily and taking a handful of his mane. Wayne followed suit and pulled himself up onto Fern’s back. They waited patiently while the other readied themselves.

Round 4! Jazper, Anann, Rurik, Dixie

WC:300+

Rem’s snort didn’t go unnoticed when accompanied by Anann’s explanation of the animal. Biting his tongue Jazper kept his opinions to himself. Never would he be equal to an animal he could eat. Having been born to natural wolves and turned Luperci later in life some things would never sit with the large man. Yes, Rem was one of the smarter horses he had met but that didn’t mean he wouldn’t make a tasty meal.

He wasn’t surprised to hear that Rurik didn’t know a place to stay or anything about the war. So far the browned man seemed to be giving a fairly useless first impression but still, he could be useful if he stuck around. Glancing over at Dixie as Anann discussed the war he couldn’t help but roll his eyes. She was an awfully nice girl but she held the same strange attraction to the hooved creatures as Anann, leaving the warrior as confused as ever. The Knight couldn’t help but add in his own two cents about the war, “Too many people have been hurt in this war including my friends and family. I will do anything to make sure it never happens again and if that means I need to create a sanctuary full of fighters I will.” A hint of seriousness laced his voice, much contrary to the previous scene of humor. This war had caused damages that should have never been, and would never be again.

His mood instantly changed and his ears perked up as Wayne requisitioned Dixie. His faith in the loners was fulfilled with a few quick words. They were going to see their new home. Excitement filled the coal wolf as spoke, “Lead the way.” The horses started off and the soon to be alpha trotted at a comfortable pace behind them. Turning he head he called to the other loner, “Best keep up Rurik.” He didn't want to just leave the poor guy behind.

Took some liberties here with the description and all, if you don’t like anything just let me know. And I figure they will build a stronger gate at some point, or fix this one I guess xD

Anann’s reaction mirrored Jazper’s as the pale female said she new of a place. The golden woman’s own searches of the territory had never focused on finding a settling location, but more to ensure that the territory offered the resources they would need to support the horses. It had been equally important to Anann that the would have a coast line near by and harbor of some sort of Anatoliy’s own boat. She dared not try to take the Russian fisherman from the sea. So far the territory around Whisper Beach had proved the best for their needs. A central location in relationship to the other packs and the necessary resources they would need to sustain a pack, as well as some of the not so necessary. The very point of their joint search now had been to find a location to set up their home base.

Little time was wasted once Dixie had spoke in heading off to see this walled off area. The idea of already having perimeter defense was certainly attractive and Anann was eager to see just what was to be found. As promised the trip was a short one and it wasn’t long at all when they found themselves on the outskirts of the walled in community. The small, little makeshift group gathered in front of the cast iron gate that sealed off the entrance. The walls themselves were in surprisingly good condition though they had deteriorated in some locations it was not enough for the group and their horses to simply go waltzing in.

Obviously they would have to get through the gate one way or another. Anann shifted to her optime form before approaching the gates. Grasping the upright bars she gave it a solid shake and gave it a push. While it had some give, whatever was keeping them locked wasn’t going to budged with the force of wolves. ”Rem.” Anann called to the massive friesian and nodded towards the gate. The horse stepped forward and putting his ass to the gate he pushed into it and rocked his weight against it. The iron groaned in protest but refused to give in. Anann frowned and gave a thoughtful look to the dogish man setting atop the large draft. ”Hey Wayne, think you two could lend a rear?” He said nothing, only giving her a slight shrug as if to say ‘why not’ before moving the mare into position and backing her into the gate. Which creaked and groaned something aweful before there was a loud pop as something within the gate’s lock gave way and the gate’s swung open. ”Let’s see what we’ve got here, shall we?”

OOC herpderp? / +yo numbah!

As Anann explained the war to him, his grip slowly tightened around his staff. War had driven his family out of their lands before Rurik had been born. War was the reason his mother was dead now; had she been able to give birth under normal circumstances instead of on a boat she probably would have survived. War was the reason his father and step-father weren't here now; the reason he had been alone for the last year or so. He growled to himself. He would not let that happen again.

His attention shifted from half-formed memories of a past he didn't technically know to the present when he heard Dixon, Dixin..something like that, say that she knew of a place they could use to set up a pack. A small knot of excitement began to form in his stomach at the idea of being part of a pack, but not only a pack, but one that would help defend the entire land, instead of just what it owned. When Jazper called to him, he followed silently behind, setting his staff across his shoulders and draping his arms over it.

Once they reached the fort, Rurik looked over the wall surrounding it. He saw a few foot-holds but none that went far enough up the wall to get over, a good sign. He watched passively as Anann tried to open the door, only to find that it wouldn't move. As Rem and Wayne's horse backed into the door to open it, Rurik wandered around the wall, looking at more than just the fortifications near the door. The rest of the wall seems to be fairly intact, a little touch up here and there, but otherwise sound. Returning his attention to the others and the open door, he followed them inside.

The ride towards the walled in area was short and sweet. Both Anann and Jazper seemed very excited that they had someplace to look at, and Rurik was just trying to keep up. When they got there, the large golden woman spoke to the black horse and he backed himself against the gates. Despite his large size, the lock would not give. When Wayne backed Fern up into a similar position Dixie was a bit worried that the mare would protest. However, she was relaxed and as docile as ever, backing up obediently and aiding in the opening of the gate. Wayne walked the mare forward with his hand on the gate, pushing one side open slowly. It was rather difficult, because there was a lot of overgrowth. Vines and shrubs were piled up against the walls and gates, growing up the sides of the visible buildings and covering everything.

Dixie clicked softly to Duke and he slowly walked forward, his head held high, ears pricked forward and fully alert. Wow…beautiful. Her head whipped back and forth, taking in all of the bright greens and other fading fall colors. Turning slightly, she looked over at the others and saw Fern had her head dropped, nibbling at the soft and lush green grass. It seemed that nothing had been able to get in and ruin the environment. It was a little atmosphere in itself, perfect. Grinning, she slipped off of Duke’s back and walked away from him, padding through the grass and looking around more. There were trees scattered about at random, large ones that looked many years old. They would be very strong and deep rooted; she made a note in her head to suggest only bringing in lumber from outside the walls.

Trotting along beside Dixie and her horse Jazper felt the energy of the group. Although they were small he could feel the excitement thriving in all of them. There was a sense of drive as they followed the loner’s lead, unsure of what they would find. From a distance he knew instantly that the place before them was the place Dixie spoke of. A fall wall blocked the view, intriguing the large halfling as they drew closer. The only thing visible over the wall was the top of a white building. Glancing at Anann he wanted to ask her what she thought the wall was hiding but instead he continued on in silence until they reached a metal gate.

Taking Anann’s lead he too began the shift onto two legs. His once thick mane grew upwards into a neat military style Mohawk and his thick back legs grew long. Taking a few steps forward he watched contently as his partner sorted out the gate through the use of horses. Glancing at Rurik as the loner left only to return as the gates were finally pushed open. Silently he followed the others into the Fort, excitement bubbling in his chest.

Suddenly giant wolf paused, his feet refusing to move as he took in the place. It had been untouched since the fall of the humans, this was clear. A beautiful green seemed to sprout everywhere The stone path on which the group stood was painted in thin vines and larger vines slithered up the walls of old houses. Some of the buildings would be to difficult to repair but a good number seemed to be a few repairs away from livable. Smiling Jazper announced his thoughts, “This is it.” This was where they would build up the pack, his new home.
