OOC:Set on the third floor of the Courthouse in Jazper's room (Check website for layout). Pre-dated to October 27th. Feel free to start making your own threads Big Grin

For the past week everyone had been working very hard on cleaning up the Courthouse. Dixie, Rurik and Wayne had done an amazing job in the short time they were here alone, needing only himself and Anann to decide what to keep and what to toss. Things that were no longer needed had been sent out of the courthouse and would be burned or removed from the fort and brought into Halifax in small loads, with the help of the horses. It was amazing how clean the place was starting to look already. In no time at all the main level would be ready for ceremonies and setting up an office for a medic, once they had one.

For now the new leader took to what would become his room. Although the room had been worked on a little dust still lined shelves, the floor, and old bedding which he had thrown in the corner. In the hall, just outside of the room, his belongings were starting to pile up. He owed Anann a lot for helping him bring over his things from Crimson Dreams. Sighing the large wolf picked up his warm furs and began to make the bed. Tonight would be the first time he slept in the room, a scary thought. Everything he did now seemed to take him one more step away from his old home, his ex-mate, his comfort zone and into his new role as an alpha.

Sitting on the fur blanket, which he had made himself for the bed he had shared with Ghita, the Knight looked around the room with a gloomy and indifferent gaze. He should be excited but all he could think about was his mate, Savina and the pain that throbbed in his chest every second he lingered on the memories. How was he going to be a strong leader if he couldn’t even get control of his own emotions?

Hey there! :3

Fia lingered around the courthouse, dragging her fingers against things to feel the touch of her new home. She wasn't quite sure of where her new room would be. Anyways, the female didn't really give thought about it either. Blue eyes looked around the old walls and the old wooden floors, the dark brown wood creaking and groaning as the young she-wolf slowly walked along. Looking up, the young girl sighed and took a small step towards her father's bedroom and lifted a white-furred and pink-scarred fist up. Knocking gently three times on the door. "Dad...?" She asked, her voice small. The snow-colored woman wrapping her arms around herself as if she was keeping herself from falling apart. With her mother and her father being ex-mates had emotionally drained the girl, her heart and emotions being fragile. Everyone had been avoiding her, which Fia thought they where anyways, to keep from breaking that thin- ice that was still barely standing. Ocean eyes began to tear up but the young-woman quickly wiped them away.

Fia had been trying to hide her emotions from her father, in fears that if she showed how hurt and how pained she was it would only hurt him more then he was hurting now. Jazper must had been hurting 10 times worse then Fia. But the black-dotted fae decided that she probably was hurting him by not telling him her feelings. She figured that he probably felt that she was hiding from him and ignoring him by not telling him what was going on. She shuffled her paws on the floor a little nervously. She was going to tell her father how she felt and ask him why had her mother done this. It wasn't fair! Sure the Knight loved her mother with every fiber in her heart, but this, this was too much, and she couldn't handle to be around someone who had hurt the poor girl so much.

The gentle knocked surprised the warrior, who quickly rose to his feet and walked over to the door. He stopped suddenly before he could reach for the handle. Fia. Although he loved his daughter dearly he really felt like being alone. The last person he wanted to see him hurting was his youngest. Hesitantly he opened the door, unsure of what to say or do. At this point all he could think about was his Ghita. How could she have hurt him so? After all he had done for her she had forced him out of his own home without a second thought. Pulling the door open with a large hand the giant looked down on his little Fia. She was so beautiful in her white coat. She reminded him of his birth mother really, small and white.

Immediately he could see that her eyes were watery and there was many emotions written all over her face. Releasing a sigh the father relaxed his body and moved forward, embracing the girl and dwarfing her in his arms. "Fia, Fia." He cooed as he would when she was tiny. The last thing he wanted to do was hurt his children, yet it was impossible to avoid. “You know when I was your age I went through a very similar thing with my adoptive parents splitting up.” Possibly unhelpful but he continued, “Sometimes two people can’t be together anymore but the last thing I want is for you and your siblings to dwell on it. We both love you very much and we always will.” Releasing the girl from his grasp the father gave Fia some space to breath. Yellow eyes looked down at her awaiting an answer, had he helped at all or only made things worse? Perhaps he should have listened to her concerns first? It was very much like him to jump the gun before listening.

A small whine came from the girl's maw, hugging tightly to her father's warm dark-colored pelt. Moist, wet tears ended up pouring down her face and staining deep into her father's pelt, making small little trail marks before she pulled slowly away from him. Fia looked up into her father's eyes, ears laid back against her small, frail skull. "I know daddy....but it's not fair! It's not fair!!" She barked and snuggled herself deep into his fur again. She felt so childish, like as if she was five months old again. But she needed someone right now, and the only person who knew and understood what Fia was going through was her father.

"Why did mommy have to do this to me..to us?" She asked, her words muffled by her father's fur. He smelled of pine trees and the crisp scent of autumn, the same familiar scent that Fia had always loved and adored her whole life. Her body shook gently, the young girl still not really understanding how love always did not last forever, and that people changed. "I'm sorry....." The girl said, barely audible but you could slightly make out the words. She felt like this was her fault. Maybe if she hadn't been exploring so much and she had been around her parents more she would have seen this coming? The frail white-furred fae had a feeling that this was all her fault, that it was her fault for her father's sadness and her own. But she felt especially bad about her father....she wasn't blind. She had sensed his sadness and emotions over it too.
