How did you learn/hear about 'Souls?: I play Deuce!
((I'm gonna keep her as a lone wolf until Deuce gets kicked out of TV, then she's gonna join TV.))
She followed the moon for what seemed like years. Over the ocean by boat, over the lands by foot. The dark lady walked on and on, in search of a sister she never knew. A sister by adoption. She had news for this sister. Their father had passed away. The Baird of the tribe was gone. Nell had had the chance to follow in his footsteps, but mother had insisted she seek out this sister who'd run away so many years ago. She carried this sister's portrait in her sack. though it was old, mother knew it would still be enough to find the woman.
Nella wondered bout this sister, a girl who'd run away. Though she knew the story behind it, Nella firmly believed that one should embrace destiny, not run from it. And Nella, having read her omens in the stars, had realized that this journey was destiny for her. With the tribe falling apart over father's death, there would soon be nothing left. The Lightpaw tribe was no more. Mother had died days after father, grieving. They'd always been close, even after father adopted Deuce. Nella had been born after Deuce left, the only pup in the litter. The last pup born to the tribe. The tribe had been slowly falling apart. Even at one year old, Nella had known this. Now, at three, she supposed the tribe was gone now.
She paused outside of lands that were heavilly populated by wolves. Could the enigmatic Deuce be within these lands? She looked at the portrait again, then stowed it away safely. She took a deep breath and took a step into new lands. This wasn't the first time she'd entered the realm of wolves, looking for this Deuce. Maybe this time, she'd find her. Pastel eyes scanned the area, searching, waiting. She had the feeling what she sought was right here. Somewhere.
