feel so warm, sun fire

Private for Ryan. Sorry it's so short. D: Dampwoods, sunrise. Teddy's in optime.

YOU'RE HERE AND THEN YOU'RE GONE

Tedros left Inferni before the sun rose. Heading northeast, he followed his nose towards the scent of Alaki. The red coyote wasn’t sure what he was looking for, or what he was expecting. But Alaki was the first canine he had felt a real connection with since he arrived back in Nova Scotia, and this morning he woke up with a craving for that feeling.

He chose to travel in his two-legged form, bow and quiver strapped tightly to his body. The male rolled his shoulders slightly, stretching the tight muscles as he made his way deeper and deeper into the forest. The sunrise was breathtaking, and he paused to admire it. Bright red and yellow hues shone through the trees, sunbeams casting a haze through the canopy. He could feel the heat from the sun warm his blood-colored fur as he passed beneath the spots of sunlight.

For once, Tedros felt really at home in the foreign territory. These trees were starting to become familiar; the scents were starting to not seem so different. He was meeting great new canines, and it seemed like nothing could really go wrong at this point. Everything was getting better.

"She's just another loose cannon"

ooc: First off sorry this took me so long. Also I wanted to say she doesn't know how to take her luperci form so she will be in her base form the whole time Smile

She was in a foul mood. Her ear was crusted with blood, or what was left of her right ear. It was a tattered mess upon her skull and she'd be damned if she had some idiot of a healer touch it. She wasn't so incompetent that she didn't know how to tend to the wound. Problem was she needed to learn how to shift or get a grip on it and soon. Carmine had really screwed her on that simple knowledge. One day she'd get even with him on that, if she was lucky of course.

The day was cool and hinting at winter to come and it made her mood even fouler. The thought of snow burning her pads and leaving a layer on her coat twenty four seven made her growl. What a pain in the ass winter was to her. Ryan had to admit that her coat was well blended in the winter besides her red patched eye and ear. It gave her a slight advantage in the white scenery.

The towering repetition of the forest trees was starting to get on her nerves and cause her irritation to tick higher and higher. Why was it she kept hanging around these woods? It would get her nowhere to keep wandering in this same forest for so long. Her attempt to form a game plan had been a fumble leaving her chewing on a newly caught rabbit. Though Ryan had to admit the rabbit was good taste on her tongue after almost a week and a half of starvation. When you were constantly running you didn't really pause to think of food.

Licking her blood drenched lips she got to her paws and stretched her front legs out in front of her. The she wolfs long youthful body arched almost like a feline would before returning to it's usual position. She needed to get moving and figure what she was going to do. She was about to head south when the distracting scent of a coyote. An impish grin spread the tall she wolfs features. Carmine had loved the taste of the small foul creatures and Ryan couldn't say she to had acquired the taste as well. Large paws moved swiftly in the direction of the scent.

Her nose rewarded her by bring her to the creatures destination. It wasn't in it's base form but rather standing two legs. Even though she wished to learn how to turn she was slightly disgusted with the look of third form. It was as if they were something completely un-wolf. Ryan sneered and approached the ugly creature. Even in his optime form he was small, of course bigger than her wolf form, he was small for his optime form. Her head was lowered and yellow eyes watched him with deadly intent. "Look what the cat drug in." Her voice was soft but low and colored with a sick intensity. Ryan was going to have fun with this.

This thread is going to be interesting. Tongue

YOU'RE HERE AND THEN YOU'RE GONE

There were plenty of wolves and coyotes roaming the area. As he had traveled, Tedros had passed many different scents. Generally, the scents moved away from him, or did not stay present for very long: the territory was vast and everyone had differing destinations. But as he continued on, ambling slowly in his two legged form, one distinct wolf scent seemed to stay with him. After a few minutes, he stopped and looked around, eyes falling upon a mangled looking femme.

Her statement was blunt and harsh, but Tedros was not concerned. He rolled his eyes slightly and debated to himself whether or not he should just continue on and forget about this deformed wolf. But she had obviously made an effort to track him down, so he figured he’d give her a moment to express whatever obviously negative thoughts she had. Sometimes that’s just what you have to do to make people move on. It wasn’t any skin off of Tedros’ back.

Had he been in his first form, he might have felt threatened by her harsh smirk and her threatening stance, but he could laugh it off in his optime form. The coyote was old, he was experienced, and he could have an arrow aimed at her skull in less than a second if she really decided to make a violent threat. He was not worried.

“What do you want?”

"She's just another loose cannon"

She watched as the coyote addressed her presence. It was humorous to see such a creature as he walking in a territory full of wolves. DId the inhabitants of this lands mingle with his kind? That thought was something for Ryan to process. Why would wolves wish to interact with filth? They were lowly and easily killed, not only that but they were great eating. The blonde she wolf took to sitting on her haunches watching the male with hot yellow eyes.

At first she had intended to attack the lowly beast, but she suddenly found herself swirling in a cloud of curiosity. It seemed the girl would much rather smolder that need for information than cause a blood bath. "That's my line coyote" She let the word roll of her tongue like a bad taste. "I was interesting is seeing you piss yourself, but now I want to know more about the workings of this area since they are so different from where I came from.
